Writing Diary: Week 19

Paperback Now Available!

Paperback Now Available!

Big, big number to report this week. I missed last week because I went away on vacation with the family. Luckily for this writer, it was a chance to write until I passed out for 7 straight days.

I went into the vacation intending to work on both manuscripts, but got pretty swept up in the Adult Scifi. I’m further into it now than I am the YA Scifi. As much as I love the YA, I couldn’tput this story down. And it’s refreshing to be back in an adult PoV, but I sense a brea...

So, about my week. Twas a good one. I took a look back at where I started on Friday night and was astounded, actually. I haven’t written this much in a while, and it feels really good. At one point, I tried to put away the YA Scifi and work on the Adult Scifi...

Writing Diary: Week 15

Something life-changing this way comes, and it’s both good and bad in a way. Bad because it wasn’t my choice, and worse because it rocked my world so hard that I haven’t had a single creative thought in a week and a half. Good because I’m looking at possibly becoming a full-time writer, which means I’ll have more time to crankout these novels. In any case, I’m finally feeling the need to get back into my worlds, one of which I actually made a ton of progress in before hell broke loose.

So here...

June #PROTOTYPE Giveaway & New Excerpt

It’s almost here! Less than 2 months away, you guys. I know you’re anxious, and I’m here to ease some of that pressure with another giveaway and excerpt. Okay, so the excerpt won’t help, but it’ll be fun!

Meet Daxton Thomas!

Armand drops his feet to the floor. “What happened to her?”

“I don’t know. Crazy bastard probably dosed her up. He’s blaming Burke. Threatened to take the company in a lawsuit. Anyway, we can use this to our advantage. Get ahead of the story in the media.”

“Agreed. I can make...

Writing Diary: Week 13

I know, I know. I slacked. I took a week off from writing, then I was too sidetracked by ANTITYPE’s release to do much of anything but obsess. Speaking of which, thank you to everyone for the amazing reviews & tweets & FB posts. I’m so glad you love ANTITYPEas much as I do.

OKAY! So, obviously, according to the above, progress on both novels has been slow. Thanks to the Romantic Times Convention, I got some airport/airplane time in. Here goes.

Adult Scifi: 35,357. I’m not exactly having a tough...

#ANTITYPE Release Day! #books

ANTITYPE

Before Emma appears in their lives, two men face four months that will change their lives forever. One has dreams outside Richmond and away from his family business. The other wants to make the business his only focus. In one summer, outside forces drive them both to make brash and irrevocable decisions that will render them at once supremely powerful yet emotionally vulnerable. How can these peers with identical pasts, as well as seemingly identical futures, reach a threshold where only one...

Excerpt & #PROTOTYPE Giveaway

Here we go again! I’m giving away another advanced copy of PROTOTYPE! I love this part, because with this giveaway comes a new character to introduce!

Miles.

Sigh.

He’s what I like to call the sexy comic relief. Miles Trumble tagged along with Leigh, sitting himself down and surprising Emma (and ME) with his awesome. Mr. and Ms. Unplanned Character, and all at once. Twas a good day for me.

So here’s a sample of what’s in store for you.

Miles pushes Leighup onto the platform and I follow. He positi...

Writing Diary: Week 10

First, put your name in the raffle yet?? Three prizes up for grabs!

This last week easily started out as ajust take the week off week. I’m pretty burnt out, creatively speaking. I was also facing the loss of three days because I had a panel and signing at C2E2 in Chicago.
