Or will Nolan discover that his past doesn’t determine his future and he is worth the happiness he doesn’t think he deserves?
My Thoughts
I absolutely love Ashley Wilcox, in fact, I was super excited to get this book to review. I loved the story of Nolan and Alexa in Waiting on Forever. (That is still my fav book so far!)
This book is very different that the other’s because there is a lot more physically going on. Like dang, they are freakin rabbits! (Yes, I know what category that this book falls.) They are getting married, Nolan wants it to be perfect, Alexa gets exactly what she wants… that is until Nolan meets Meg. I will stop right there because I do not want to spoil it for anyone. 
Alexa is very needy in this book, and Nolan is always there for her…well, most of the time. Nolan is super successful, and Alexa never has to want for anything, especially while she is still in school.
Nolan is Nolan, and is very successful, treats Alexa like a Queen except from being gone while getting his gym up and running.,
I have to say that my favorite part is the ending of this book, it gives insight into Nolan’s past, present, and future. In fact, the end made all my other thoughts disappear of how I felt due to all the rabbit activity. I stated before that this wasn’t may fav. Ashley Wilcox book, and I think that’s because I wanted more than just the physical part of Nolan and Alexa. I wanted to hear their thoughts, feeling, raw emotions, and what made them tick.
If you have read any of the others in this series, you will want to read this book. It gives insight into their future and Nolan’s past. For me, I think because I was accustomed to the “clean” version of Ashley’s writing, I had a hard time with this one. Then there was this book… Everyone and their brother started talking about this book series titled Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. I didn’t really pay attention to the craze at first, since I wasn’t a big reader- okay, I didn’t read at all. But curiosity got the best of me, so I downloaded it to my kindle.
I was immediately hooked. I read the whole series in three days. Yes, three books in three days.
I kept finding all these great books that I HAD to read (just ask my credit card!).
Then I started hearing voices. Voices that turned into stories; stories that were begging to get out of my head.
I started writing them down on scraps of paper. Then I transferred them to my computer. Before I knew it, Planning on Forever was born.
The voices in my head are still talking, so I’m still writing.

After being together for a year, Nolan Pratt and Alexa Arnold are engaged. 3 Years later, the wedding is being planned, Nolan is opening his own gym, Alexa is still in school, and everything seems perfect…for a while anyway. Nolan starts spending more and more time away from home and Alexa feels she is being left behind to care for all of the wedding planning herself. Nolan has a past that he fears will send Alexa running for the hills. When it catches up to him, can their love survive? Can Alexa prove to Nolan that he is exactly what she deserves, that he is worthy of her love?
This book starts out with a bang (quite literally) and does’t stop throughout the entire story…it is definitely NOT lacking in hot, steamy sex, but it isn’t over done. Nolan is the sweetest boyfriend a girl could ask for…almost too sweet at some points, but also fun with a vulgar mouth (especially in public!). At times, Alexa came across as whiny to me, she has this super sweet guy who bends over backwards to make her happy, yet she gets hurt and questions their relationship when he doesn’t devote every second of his life to her. She needs to realize it’s time to grow up, opening a new business would take up anybody’s time and she can’t realistically expect him to be sitting at home waiting for her all of the time. Sometimes I wanted Nolan to tell her exactly that – GROW UP! – but being the sweet guy that he is, he does everything he can to make her happy.
I give this story 3.5 stars because even though it is a really sweet love story that I enjoyed, it almost seemed too easy at times. Alexa acted like a pouty kid sometimes, not a 22-year-old adult, and when Nolan’s past catches up with them, the resolution seemed too easy and rushed through. They actually do have some real life struggles to get through, and all in all, it was an easy, light read that brought tears to my eyes, and I loved the author’s writing style and the dual POVs

Jack and Candace at Remedy
Jack leans in close to my ear and whispers, “You wanna dance?”
Taking my hand in his, he helps me off the barstool, and we make our way to the crowded dance floor. I start to move to the beat of the music that blasts throughout the club. ‘Push It’ by Garbage is playing, and I lose myself in the sea of people dancing around me along with the flashing lights and loud music.
Jack is behind me, and I feel his arms as they slide across my stomach, underneath the hem of my top. He moves in sync with me as I dance to the rhythm of the song. I can already feel drops of sweat trickling down my spine, and it must be the tequila that is making me feel bold when I reach up behind me and wrap my hand around the back of his neck. I feel the stubble on his jaw as he glides his chin along my damp neck and takes a soft bite. Shit, that’s hot.
Turning me around in his arms, I can see the heat in his darkening eyes. I rake my fingers through the hair on the back of his head as he pulls my hips tight against him, and he leans down and covers my mouth with his.
I’m not sure what has come over me. Since my conversation with Roxy, I have been a little bit bolder with myself. But here, in the middle of this dance floor, kissing Jack, is pretty damn bold for me.

When I found out that Christine Zolendz was releasing a Shane Maxton’s POV I couldn’t wait! I read Fall from Grace & Saving Grace before I began to blog and review. I ABSOLUTELY
It has been total chaos around here. I actually am semi caught up and said I have got to read this!!!! … and I did… and savored every word out of Shane Maxton’s mouth!
There is so much I want to say about this book, but honestly I don’t know if I can find the right words. I will say that I usually read a book in a day, but I just couldn’t with this one… I wanted to savor every single word of this book. To get inside Shane’s head and to actually see the turmoil he faced by not being able to tell her who he was… was intense.
I am a fan of YA, NA Romance, Paranormal Romance, anything like that… but honestly, I love the Paranormal!
This story is word for word what happens in Fall from Grace and Saving Grace… just Shane’s take on it. So, if you are thinking it’s a totally new book… new story…. your wrong. I couldn’t wait to hear his side of things. Shane really wasn’t a bad buy… he’s just stuck in an assholes body. I can remember reading the end of Saving Grace and being completely floored.
The fact that 2 people have spent hundreds of years trying to reunite only to have to give up everything that most people could dream of is unbelievable. The fact that Shane couldn’t tell her because she had to love him as only human only made me love this book more. You know that there is something different about him, but to actually listen to his thoughts is exactly what I thought it would be…. A-maz-ing!

My Thoughts
Fixed on You by Laurelin Paige is by far one of the best books I have read in a while and has an awesome storyline.
We have all read the stories about the rich guys that have control issues, but this one is different. They entire way that Hudson pursues Alayna is outta this world. Also, the fact that Alayna has issues from her past give this story a whole different kinda feel… and I loved it!
Alyana herself is a very interesting character. I love how she does what she loves regardless of that others think. Yes, she has a MBA, but she loves the bar scene. She wants to take that degree and work up the ladder there. She is also a girl that doesn’t realize how beautiful she truly is… inside and out.
Hudson is extremely wealthy, but has a past.. one that tells him he is incapable of love. They way that he seeks out Alayna is crazy… almost obsessive, but it never gets to that point that most of you are thinking.
Their past both have issues that limit how much they get close to others. When the realization that they both need each other to heal occurs, they are both in too deep. The real question to me was… will Hudson be able to admit what he thought couldn’t happen? Will Alayna scare him off?
This book is well written, has an awesome storyline, 2 characters that are different but yet the same. How 2 troubled pasts could come together to make one awesome fairytale.
I love the fact that there is going to be a second book. I want to know what is next for Alayna and Hudson… I know it’s not going to be easy, but I can’t wait to read it… oh, and it’s gonna be H-O-T!!! That’s for sure!

Why did I wait to read Metamorphosis?
Book Description

My Thoughts
Let me start by saying that I have have been hoarding Metamorphosis on my Kindle since the day it was released, but due to my CRAZY review schedule I hadn’t got the chance to read it!… I know, **hangs head in shame** I was actually drawn to the book by the cover. There were boots for starters (I only wear flip flops & boots!) Then there was the tattoo and guitar… just left so much to the imagination!
So, where did I go this past Saturday? BOOK BASH!!!!! Who did I meet??? ERIN NOELLE!!! What did I buy??? A signed copy of METAMORPHOSIS which I read on the plane home… FINALLY!!!! With that being said…. here’s my review!
I have to say that the concept of this book is freaking fantastic! I mean, all of you know as well as I do that we all have these book boyfriends, and if I was in college like Scarlett & Evie you’d play the game too!
Scarlett’s life has pretty much sucked. Her parents were beyond overprotective… it really made me wonder what her brother did to make her life so sheltered. If Evie hadn’t lived across the street, there’s no telling what would have happened to Scarlett.
When they get to college, a new game is created… pick a “book boyfriend” type and that’s who they try to meet that night.
Round #1 is All American College Guy: This idea is almost stopped before it started when Scarlett makes contact with Ash, but he is told he is off limits cause he’s a man whore… go figure? Instead she meets Dylan, he is the perfect guy, but somethings not the same as even the touch of Ash in a handshake or look in the eye.
Round #2 is Rocker/Bad Boy: Scarlett meets Mason, he meets her locks eyes, calls her angel and decides to be her sex coach without the sex. Scarlett is very new to all of this, and he doesn’t push her to do anything. He even takes her out on a real date, forgets the 3 day wait to call rule, and treats her like somebody.
Then there is Ash, he doesn’t fall in Round because if he did he would fall into Round #1, #2, & #3. He is always there. I can honestly say that I am Team Ash all the way. He is a man whore yes, but he is never that way with Scarlett. From the moment he scares the shit out of her when getting a glass of milk at Jess’ house, then asks her to just talk… he had me right there. They spend every Saturday night together, and no matter who they are with before bedtime… they always end up snuggled up in each others arms. Then there was the whole trying to stay friends thing. I mean, I respected the idea of her needing to grow and change into who she is now that she’s away from her parents, but at some point they’ve got to quit being so stubborn.
I absolutely loved this book, the concept, title, story of Eros & Psyche, the game that is played, and the friendship that Evie & Scarlett have. There is a sadness within this book as well, in fact, I felt like something was wrong throughout the book, but when that day came… I just cried! I felt as if I was Scarlett, and Evie was my own best friend. What would I do in that situation? How do you move past horrific events? But that is what Scarlett does… not to say it’s the right way, but she does it… then walks right back into the warehouse where Ash & Mason both are… the next question is will she choose to be an Angel or Butterfly? I pray a butterfly! TEAM ASH!!!!
