Character Interview: Malone – Jamie Richmond Mystery Series – by Mark Love
Today we have the opportunity to visit with one of the primary characters from author Mark Love’s Jamie Richmond Mystery Series. To date there are two books in the series, “Devious” and “Vanishing Act” and a third book is under construction. Jamie is an independent woman in her early thirties, a former reporter who is now devoting all her creative efforts to writing mysteries. I’d like to introduce you to Jamie’s love interest, the somewhat mysterious Malone
Tell us a little about yourself.
Malone: Well, I have worked in law enforcement as a Michigan State Police trooper for more than fifteen years. It is important work and it’s something I do well. I’ve been a sergeant for about ten years now. For quite a while, the afternoon shift has been mine. I like having the mornings free and there is always plenty of action and excitement with the three p.m. to eleven p.m. shift. Outside of work, I enjoy baseball, football, skiing, motorcycles and hockey. I like to cook. I like classical music but not opera, jazz and blues but not reggae. I’m divorced, early forties and enjoying life. And the only name I use is Malone. Most people don’t seem to notice, but there is a certain redheaded female who is irked by that.
What or who is the greatest love of your life? Why? What drew you to them?
Malone: The greatest love of my life would be Jamie Richmond. She’s the redhead I just referred to. We’ve been together less than a year, but I’d swear we’ve known each other a lot longer. Maybe we just squeeze so much into each moment we’re together. Jamie’s a fantastic woman. She has her insecurities and idiosyncrasies like everyone else, but she’s got a great heart, an even greater sense of humor and she’s very smart. She’s beautiful. I’ve always been a sucker for tall, slender women and that describes her pretty well. We first met when she was doing research for a novel and she ended up witnessing a trooper getting shot. Jamie kept digging, trying to figure out what happened. In the end, she did just that. So you could say it’s the combination of her beauty, her brains and her personality that caught my attention.
Do you have any unusual interests of hobbies? What led you to that interest?
Malone: I’m a baseball junkie. I grew up playing the game, so I’ll watch it every chance I get. When my schedule permits, I help coach a youth team in the area. Baseball is sacred. Don’t try and distract me when I’m watching a game. (Laughs) Well, Jamie can be very distracting when she sets her mind to it. But I think she enjoys it as much as I do. I used to have a motorcycle and would disappear on my days off, just follow my nose all over the state, without a plan or a destination. That’s a great way to travel. A few years ago, I took cooking lessons, so I could impress a woman I was dating at the time. It didn’t work out, but I learned that I enjoy cooking.
What’s your approach to life?
Malone: Keep your eyes and ears open. If you don’t pay attention, you might just miss something great.
How do the other characters in the books view you?
Malone: To the other troopers I work with, I’m seen as a strong leader, capable of taking charge of situations. As a cop, you have to be ready for anything. With Linda (Jamie’s best friend) I think she views me as someone special. Jamie is the big one. She sees me as this strong, fearless guy who may not have all the answers but is willing to help her find them. (Laughs) Whatever that means!
You’ve just gotten through an incredibly trying day. Now it’s time to kick back and put everything behind you. Describe what you’d do.
Malone: My workday normally ends just before midnight. So I’d go home and find Jamie. She usually waits up for me. One look at her can cause me to forget about everything else. If she’s been anticipating my arrival, we can get pretty romantic in a hurry. If she’s pensive or preoccupied, that just motivates me to take the lead. Jamie is pretty…adventurous. Sometimes we’ll talk for an hour or two until we fall asleep. Whatever was difficult about that day is soon long forgotten.
What is it about you that will interest a reader?
Malone: I’m a guy who can be calm and reassuring or taking charge, whatever the situation needs. When Jamie’s around, she triggers the romantic in me. Dating her has reawakened the passion, the intensity that a relationship brings. I feel more alive when she’s around. Even if I don’t have a first name! (Laughs) By the way, Jamie is determined to figure out my first name. So every day, she calls me by a different name. I’ve promised to tell her if she ever guesses right. So far, she hasn’t come close.
If you could go anywhere in the world on an all expenses paid trip, where would it be?
Malone: I’ve always wanted to go to Europe. I’d love to have a big motorcycle and cruise from one country to another, France and Spain and Italy and wherever the wind took me. Of course, I’d want to take Jamie along, just to keep things from getting boring.
What trait in others do you find most deplorable?
Malone: I’m not a big fan of violence. There are people who live for it, whether it’s physically beating each other or blasting away with guns merely for the sake of it. I’m a sharpshooter. I know how to use weapons and how to use force to control a situation. That’s part of my job. But I don’t want to be around people who live for it.
Now for an off the wall question: What’s your favorite meal?
Malone: Chicken Piccata. It’s one of my favorite dishes to cook and it comes together quickly. The first time I made it for Jamie I think it made her clothes disintegrate. (Laughs) Well, it certainly seemed that way.
Jamie Richmond is still discovering her way in the romantic relationship with the mysterious Malone when her best friend Linda Davis comes home. The beautiful Linda suddenly finds herself swept up in a whirlwind romance of her own with an older man, Dr. Vincent Schulte. But not everything is all champagne and flowers for Linda. She suddenly realizes she’s become the target of a stalker. The problem escalates. Jamie is determined to protect her friend, but even she is at a loss when Linda suddenly disappears one cold, snowy day. The police are searching for clues. Despite Malone’s attempts to keep Jamie on the sidelines, she is driven to find out what happened to Linda and where she could be. Despite her best intentions, Jamie has once again put herself in danger while trying to unravel the mystery.
Excerpt:
Apparently Malone wanted to take advantage of the fact that I was so close. With one hand pressing me close, he pulled my robe open, drawing the sash free once more. Turning, Malone eased me onto the bed, moving me closer to the headboard. My body was on fire. I wanted to shed my robe and nightgown and feel Malone’s skin on mine.
His kisses were incredible. On this night he started with my eyes, lightly kissing the lids. Then he moved across my cheekbones with a little more pressure. His warm breath and lips were on the shell of my ear. Then he was nuzzling behind my ear, touching with his lips a spot so sensitive that I thought my heart might explode. It was as if Malone had discovered yet another level of passion and was ready to introduce me to it. I moaned as he pushed my arms up above my head.
He was still kissing me, moving his lips over to mine now, toying with me. I could feel his hands sliding up and down my arms, stretching me out on the bed. And then I realized I couldn’t move my arms. My eyes snapped open. Malone had a devilish grin on his face as he pulled back.
“Dexter, what are you doing?” My voice was a throaty rasp.
“I’m just fulfilling a fantasy or two.”
He had used the satin sash from my robe to bind my wrists to the wooden headboard. I squirmed beneath him as the realization sunk in.
“Somehow I always pictured myself naked or wearing some sexy lingerie when I thought of this, Dexter. Not dressed in a flannel nightgown.”
He sprawled beside me on the bed. Then with one hand, he slowly began to pull my nightgown up. I felt his hands everywhere. As he raised it above my hips, Malone resumed kissing me. And I sensed this was one fantasy I’d want to revisit. Now he moved the nightgown higher. Just the idea of him taking advantage of me this way was a rush. My body was thrumming like a guitar string. And Malone was a master musician.
“Jamie,” he whispered in my ear. He was beside me now, lightly kissing my face while his hands continued their explorations. “How long should I keep you tied up?”
“A minute,” I gasped “or for an hour or two.” In my wildest fantasies, this is the part where I would make a feeble attempt at escaping. But that wasn’t happening.
“I wonder how close I can get you,” he said as he drew patterns on my thighs with his fingertips, long slow circles and ovals.
“I’m already going to peak, Dexter. The question is, how many times?”
Malone raised his head to look deeply into my eyes. “How many times would you like to peak, Jamie?”
“More than half a dozen will probably put me in the hospital, Dexter.”
“Then you’d better keep count,” he said.

Author’s Bio:
Yes, my name really is Mark Love. I am a Michigan native, who up until recently lived in the metropolitan Detroit area, where crime and corruption always seem to be at the top of everyone’s news. So there is always the chance to find something that can trigger a story idea and enough interesting characters to jump start your imagination.
While I have worked in many industries and career paths over the years, one of my passions has always been writing. I was even able to parlay that passion for a while, working as a freelance reporter for a couple of newspapers in the Detroit area. Writing features and hard news helped me hone my talents. But while newspaper work was interesting and paid a few bills, it was a far cry from the fiction writing that I enjoy the most.
I’ve always been drawn to mysteries and thrillers, the kind of stories that have a fast pace that keep you moving and keep you guessing as to what’s going to take place next. Mix those in with some elements of crime, perhaps a glimpse of the seedier side and you’ve got me. So it’s always been one of my goals to write stories like that.
Currently I have two self published mystery novels on Amazon, “Fade Away” and “Desperate Measures”. With the release of “Vanishing Act”, I now have two Jamie Richmond mysteries with Sweet Cravings Publishing. While it is a kick to have these available as eBooks now, I’m looking forward to this fall when they will be available in paperback. I’m working on a third book for the series.

Darlene P. Winston’s The Other Woman
It’s always a pleasure when I have a fellow SCP author as my guest and today is no exception. Let’s welcome Darlene P. Winston. She’ll tell us what’s the most courageous thing she’s ever done and a few of her favorite things. She’ll also tell us about her latest release, The Other Woman. Quite frankly, I’m very curious about this book since the title is so intriguing. Don’t you think so?
Darlene, I’m delighted to have you here. Can you tell us how you decided to become an author?
I’ve been fascinated with books since I was a kid and have always been told that I tell great stories. So, I thought I’d join my story telling abilities with my love of books.
What is the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Self-publishing my first novel.
Which authors have you been reading lately?
Brenda Jackson (always) and Farah Rochon.
Here’s an opportunity to tell us in a few words your favorite:
Author: Brenda Jackson
Band/singer: Anthony Hamilton
Movie/TV Show: Love & Basketball
Color: Red
Season: Fall
Drink: Ginger Ale
Food: Shrimp
Sport: Football
What inspired you to write this book?
LOL, the characters themselves. This story started as a means to tell the story of one of the characters in my first novel. His aunt Marilyn who is in The Other Woman took over and decided that the Harriston’s story was more important and needed to be told.
If The Other Woman was made into a movie, whom would you cast as the hero and heroine?
If The Other Woman was made into a movie, I would cast Monica Calhoun as the heroine and Laz Alonso as the hero.
So you’ve finished this story. What can readers expect from you next? When?
Readers have been asking for so I have to deliver the sequel to Where I Wanna Be (my first novel). Hopefully I will have it submitted for consideration with my publishing company within the next few months.
Now, let’s get to your story, The Other Woman.
Krys Harriston has what every girl wants—a good job, a handsome hardworking husband, two beautiful kids and a loving home…everything that makes her happy. But there’s another woman out for revenge trying to break up her marriage, and this is one woman Krys may not be able to compete with. Her husband, Cameron, never imagined that the one person who loves him unconditionally is the very one causing his world to come crashing down around him. Does he have enough strength to fight the evil forces and save his marriage or will he allow it all to slip away?
Excerpt:
“Okay, Cameron,” she said barely above a whisper, “You deal with it your way. But you’re going to have to deal with it alone because I’m not taking this shit.”
He looked up at her. “Are you leaving?”
She looked at him and then said, “No, I’m not leaving.” She pointed at him. “You are.”
“What?”
She got up to go to the bathroom. “You heard me, I’m tired of feeling like a stranger in my own home. Get your shit and get out!” With that, she slammed the bathroom door.
Krys knew he must have been stunned at her ultimatum. Finally he followed her into the bathroom and stopped beside her as she stood brushing her teeth.
“What good will my moving out do? What about the kids?” He stepped back to lean against the door jamb.
Krys looked over at him as she leaned over the sink to rinse her mouth. If he could have read her mind, he would have heard her ask, Lord, where is my husband because this specimen standing before me sure isn’t the one I married? She reached for a towel. She wiped her mouth and continued to eye him. She stepped around him and walked out of the bathroom and got in the bed.
Cameron stood in the bathroom door. “Krys, I asked you a question.”
“Damn it, Cameron, the good it’ll do is I’ll have some peace of mind. And as for the kids, they’ll be just fine. You can come by to pick them up and spend as much time with them as you want.”
“And what will this do to them?”
“What will you staying do to or for them, Cameron? Do you think that they haven’t noticed the difference in our relationship?” She started to cry again. Damn it, the tears just keep coming, she thought. “What do you think that is doing to them?”
He moved over to her and tried to wrap his arms around her. She held up her hand to stop him. “Don’t.”
“I’m sorry, baby.”
“Me, too, Cameron.” At that moment she couldn’t contain the tears and all hell broke loose. “But, you know what? Sorry, doesn’t fucking help the way I’ve been feeling these past few weeks!” She wiped at the tears that continued to fall no matter how hard she willed them not to. “Sorry doesn’t excuse your actions toward me. Sorry doesn’t make me want to stay with your sorry ass after you swore to me that you’d forsake all others for me. Sorry hasn’t wrapped an arm around me at night nor has it given me an orgasm. Sorry sure as hell doesn’t make me think that you deserve my love after the way you’ve been treating me.
“Well, guess what? I’m sorry, too, Cameron, sorry that I’ve put up with your mother’s shit just to save face with you. Maybe if I’d told her ass off the very first time she looked down her nose at me we wouldn’t be in this mess. I’m just so fucking sorry to have to put your ass out, but you know what? You’ve got to go. And when you realize that your mother can only be your mother and not your lover and friend then you let me know what you’ve decided to do about this situation.” She paused long enough to draw breath into her lungs. This time she spoke more calmly, “So Cameron, I say again, get your shit and get out.”

What’s going on?
Life has been throwing me a few curve balls lately, but I’m hanging in there. There’s no doubt, though, that I’ve been having a whale of a time as it relates to my journey as a newbie author. This journey has been a really interesting one, especially as I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of seeing my story He’s So Into You published just a few months after it was penned and submitted to an Indie publisher.
First and foremost, I’m sooo proud to be an SCP author. This publisher dared to take a chance on a person who had absolutely no experience in writing romance stories, and aligned me with an editor, Tamara Hoffa, who was nothing but patient and loving and lovable as we went through not one or two, but five rounds of edits! Talk about someone having the patience of Job!
What’s more, both new and seasoned SCP authors are always willing to help and give me the encouragement I need as I fumble along the way. What a great team to be a part of!
And then, my dream became reality. He’s So Into You was released on 13 May. That was such a momentous event for me and weeks later I’m still beaming with excitement. But that wasn’t all. On 24 May, I received some good news. He’s So Into You hit the allromanceebooks.com (ARe) Bestseller List for interracial/multicultural romance. I even received a graphic as a token. For two weeks it was among Amazon.com Top 100 Bestseller List (multicultural/interracial), peaking at # 39 . For three weeks it was among Amazon.com Hot New Releases (multicultural/interracial), peaking at # 16.
I also had the pleasure of being interviewed by my fellow SCP authors. Christina Cole hosted me on her blog on 13 June, Raine Delight spotlighted He’s So Into You on 07 June and on 25 June it was featured on SSLY blog (this blog is co-hosted by Tamara Hoffa). What’s more, I was in the hotspot with Mahalia Levey a short time ago. Boy, was that visit fun! Jamallah Bergman would be hosting me on her blog next week.
One of the things I absolutely love about Facebook is the fact that I get the opportunity to meet some wonderful people, particularly fellow authors. Just recently, I met Beth Jones and she was kind enough to feature me on her blog, The Hungry Freelancer. You may check out my interview here.
But the fun isn’t over. I’m also a reviewer at Romance Novels In Color (RNIC). I’ve had the privilege of reviewing books by Farrah Rochon, M. J. Kane and Tiana Johnson (my review of Johnson’s short story will be published on RNIC in a few weeks’ time). At present, I’m working on Heather Long’s latest release, Marine Ever After and Melissa Schroeder’s The Santinis: Gianni. I’ve also been invited to be a reviewer on SSLY and am working on Tara Chevrestt’s Love Request.
It’s been a rejuvenating and rewarding experience, thus far. I know I’ve got a long way to go to perfect my writing craft, and I do have to learn to take the good reviews with the bad, but I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world.
So here’s my question: What’s going on with you?
I’ll be happy if you let me know. Just comment and I’ll get back to you.

Which Character is Tricia Anderson Interviewing Today?
Today is the first time there’s a character interview on this blog. Please, welcome fellow SCP author, Tricia Anderson, who’s about to interview one of her characters.
Thank you so much for having us today, Roxy! Today I am sitting down and chatting with Cassandra, the heroine in the novel Queen of Savon, published by Secret Cravings Publishing.
Cassandra, tell me about your family – your parents, your siblings.
I have no parents or siblings. My parents were violently murdered when I was little. I was an only child. My grandfather, the sorcerer Malicar, found me and took me in.
How old were you when you came to live with your grandfather?
I was eight. He took me to the palace where he was the Royal Advisor and presented me to King Thomas. It was then that they decided I would be my grandfather’s apprentice and take his place as Advisor to Matthew, Thomas’s son, when Matthew took the throne. I took a vow to the crown.
Vow? What vow did you take?
I took a vow to protect Matthew and the kingdom as his Advisor for the rest of my life. I could not marry, I could not have children. I would forsake having a family for the King and Kingdom of Savon.
That’s awful young to make a commitment like that for the rest of your life!
As an orphan, I didn’t have many options. Besides, I got to grow up in a palace and spent nearly all my waking hours with Prince Matthew and his future Commander of the Army, Victor. We got into some adventures as children.
So you met the love of your life as a child. Did you have any idea you would end up together?
Hmm…I did. I was always fascinated with Matthew. When we were little he wasn’t very sure of me. I think I frightened him. But he always trusted me when we would lie under the tree and watch the clouds. It was my favorite thing to do with him. Then as we grew up our feelings for each other grew stronger, more passionate. But it was difficult to be madly in love with the King, a man I couldn’t keep for my own.
What about Victor? What were your feelings towards him?
I never really trusted Victor. He was a bully to Matthew. We didn’t have many kind things to say to each other. He did everything he could to exclude me from his and Matthew’s activities. And he became jealous when Matthew and I were together.
Did you warm up to him when you got older? I heard of a love triangle…
Aye. I sort of did. When we became adults, Victor offered me a chance at my dream – to have a husband and children of my own. The only problem is that Victor was not the man I wished to share this with. Matthew was. However, having the King of Savon as my own was not an option. So I relented and accepted his proposal. Before we eloped we slept together. The next morning Victor gave me to my enemy, Gorgon, who was at war with Matthew over rule of Savon.
No! How did you survive?
My beloved King Matthew had a great deal to do with it. But I’ve already shared too much. *winks*
Why do you think readers should read Queen of Savon?
If your readers are interested in a tale of majesty and magic, of passion and betrayal – then they will enjoy this book. There is sensual heat, there is everlasting love. Oh and a dragon. There’s a dragon too.
Thank you, Cassandra, for spending time with us today.
Thank you for having me! And thank you again, Roxy, for having me!
Cassandra is brought to the palace by her grandfather, the sorcerer Malicar, after her parents are brutally murdered. After being presented to King Thomas she is raised alongside two boys – Thomas’s son, Matthew and Victor, the young man chosen to be Matthew’s commander of the army.
However her life in the royal palace comes at a price. She is vowed into a life of servitude Matthew’s advisor, forfeiting the dream of having a husband and children of her own.
As they mature into adults, childhood curiosities turn to jealousy and burning desire. Cassandra finds herself caught between the two men and forced to make a decision – to throw away her vows for the life she dreamt about with a man she does not love or to stay shackled to the promises she made as a child to be with the man she wants with her heart, body and soul but cannot have.
Excerpt:
Cassandra firmly capped the bottle of herbs with a cork and slipped the container in her bag. She marked her books, stacking one on top of the other. Glancing out the window, she watched as Matthew gently kissed Stephana before helping her into the carriage.
Sighing, she pulled herself away from the window to gather more herbs. She picked up her books and the bag of bottles. Then, she hobbled to the door and struggled to open it with her one free hand.
Cassandra jumped back, startled, as she discovered Matthew standing in the doorway. He clung to the door frame as he stared at her.
“How may I serve, my lord?” she greeted as she awkwardly bowed to him.
“Where are you going?” he asked, barely audible.
“Home. I have much to do before I return in the morning and you leave for battle.”
Matthew paused. “I did not propose to Stephana.”
Cassandra set her items on a table nearby. “That was unwise, my lord.”
Matthew stared at her as he dug his fingernails into the wood of the frame. “Cassa, do not leave me like this.”
Cassandra swallowed as she heard the urgency in his voice. “Like what, my lord?”
“Like this—the formal address, the subservient nature. This.” Matthew stood up straight, taking a step to grip her arms in his hands.
“Tell me her name,” Matthew demanded.
“There is no one.”
“Tell me her name,” Matthew begged. “Tell me, and I will give her my heart and make her my bride. I swear this.”
Cassandra stared at him, tears filling her eyes. “What if she belongs to another man?” She looked away as the words she spoke seemed to crush him. He closed his eyes, fighting to defeat the truth, the truth he already must know. Capitalizing on his weakness, Cassandra pulled away. “I told you there is no one.”
He grasped her hand, pressing it to his heart. “No, my lady, I will win her. I will fight, and I will not stop until she is cradled in my arms. This I promise you. Do you hear me? This I promise you.”
Her tears burst their floodgates as she slipped her fingers from his. “I must go,” she stumbled out. “I have much to do. I must go.”
Cassandra scooped up her books then swept by Matthew and ran down the stairs. She cringed as she heard him call her name, his voice betraying his pain.

Meet Author Alice Bright
One of the cool things about Facebook is that you get the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. One such person is author Alice Bright. She mainly writes short erotic stories. So here’s an opportunity to find out how this multi-published author is able to balance her writing career with her family life and what we can expect from her in a few weeks from now.
Alice, I’m delighted to have you here. Can you tell us how you decided to become an author?
I’ve always known that I loved stories, but it wasn’t until I was older that I decided to pursue a career in writing. I started out blogging, writing magazine articles, and creating articles for my local newspaper, but none of it really satisfied me. I finally decided to make the leap into indie publishing as an author and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
How do you balance writing with your family life?
This is a hard one for me since I have a husband and two little boys. The most important thing I do is not to let writing come in the way of family time. It’s difficult, but when we’re doing a family activity, I just shut the computer down and put the notebooks away. It’s too easy to start saying, “I just want to write down one thing.” Five hours later, that “one thing” has turned into eight chapters. I just don’t let myself go there.
What would your fans be surprised to learn about you?
When I’m not busy writing erotic short stories, I love to read horror and fantasy books. J.L. Bourne and Z.A. Reicht are two of my favorite authors and their stories are both centered around zombies and apocalyptic themes.
Here’s an opportunity to tell us in a few words your favorite:
Author: Z.A. Reicht, J.L. Bourne, Alice Sebold
Band/singer: The Violet Burning, Bon Jovi
Movie/TV Show: Game of Thrones, Firefly, Jericho
Novel: The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
Color: Blue
Season: Autumn
City: San Francisco
Quote: “Courage, dear heart.” -C. S. Lewis, in Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Tell us about the works you have published so far.
I’ve published a number of short erotic stories, including College Sweethearts, The Tattooed Girl and Hopeful on Valentine’s Day. I’m currently working on my first full-length romance novel, due to be published in late August of this year. Most of my stories focus on brief romantic encounters, so penning an entire novel has been a fun experience since I actually get to develop and play around with my characters a little bit more.
Would you like to share some juicy details about your latest book?
The Lawyer is the story of a young woman who meets an intriguing gentleman while she’s working her way through college as a barrister. When he offers her a job at his law firm, she just can’t refuse. Her boyfriend feels uncomfortable with the idea of her working for such an attractive and successful man, but she takes the job anyway. The story follows her through her experiences working for the lawyer.
When will it be released?

When Pigs Are Given a Badge - My Mother, Sister and I are Currently Facing Federal Charges in Trinidad & Tobago
Reblogged from THE ZEN PROJECT:
On Thursday, June 20th, my mother, sister and I left New York City and landed in Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago around 1:30PM. Upon receiving my baggage, a verbal altercation began between myself, my mother and a customs officer at the airport's exit. Such occurred due to the officer's blatantly rude responses to simple questions of ours…

Bought, Branded and Bound by Lynn Richards
Author Lynn Richards is my guest today. I bet you’re going to surprise to find out who Lynn Richards really is. What’s more, you’ll find out about Lynn’s latest release.
I’m delighted to have you here. Let’s start by telling us, who is Lynn Richards, and why did you decide to write?
Lynn Richards is a writing team of two best friends. We went to high school together and roomed together in college until one of use got married and left the other all alone. Fast forward five years and it’s best friends all over again (note: you never really lose your best friend!)
As anyone who writes will understand, there comes a point when you just have to write. We started way back when, had failures, some success and life happened in between. Last year we decided we had nothing to lose and everything to gain so we dusted off the laptop and started writing…again.
Give us some insight into the dynamics of writing a story as a team.
Writing as a team is a lot more fun than writing by yourself. Even though a writer can have critique groups and beta readers, there’s nothing like turning over a story and saying – you fix it! And it’s fixed exactly as you wanted it. Sometimes we share a story, sending it back and forth every day or every week. Other times we do as we said above- write as much as we can then hand it over the other. Best part is that you have a whole new story to read in the end.
Do you write full-time?
Unfortunately not. One of use works as a legal secretary (in our small town there are not such things as paralegals!) and the other as an admin assistant in higher ed.
How do you balance family life with your writing?
It’s difficult. And frustrating. Demands are usually made just when the characters are about to open up and speak to you. Neither of us have small children so it’s not a difficult to say I’ll be within in a minute – and then ignore them for another twenty!
What’s the funniest/best/worst pick up line ever used on you?
Mmm, it’s been so long, maybe we need to go and see…
Tell us something interesting about you not many people may know.
When we were still in college, we thought about moving to California to write for television. This may not sound like a big adventure for some, but we come from a small town where almost no one leaves. And we write contemporary romances under our real names.
In ten words or less, tell us how you would describe yourself.
Spilt personality since there are two of us? Loyal, creative, stubborn (oops, determined)
Who would play you in the movie about your life and why?
Who cares, we just want to help with casting our love interest!
If you could date any character from any book you’ve written, who would it be? Why?
Since there are two of us, can we pick two? They would be Jake Anderson from Beauty and the Wolf and Logan Quinn from Bought, Branded and Bound. And why? You need to read the books to find out why.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Is chocolate a guilty pleasure anymore? We know it’s strange to say, but reading erotica is still a guilty pleasure even though we write it!
Give us a brief overview of your previous works.
We’ve written fourteen books to date, most novella length. They almost always feature a curvy girl and always, always feature an alpha male. We have two paranormals and the rest or contemporary. Some have stronger elements of BDSM than others, some not at all.
What’s your favorite book or series you’ve written?
Bought, Branded and Bound – not just because it’s our latest, but because it is our longest. You see growth within the characters and, of course, there’s a lot more sex!
Have you ever based your characters on real people?
Sigh, if only…
What do you want your readers to gain from reading one of your books?
A sense of self and self-worth. That fairy tale feeling that there is a person out there meant just for you. You might not be the prettiest flower in the garden, but to him, it doesn’t matter.
Do you listen to music while you write? Are there any other rituals you do?
No music since we rarely get to write when we’re by ourselves. Our ritual consists of grabbing our laptops and trying to find a quiet (or noisy) corner where everyone will leave us alone to write. And trying not to be too bitchy when they don’t.
Which author would you consider your greatest influence? Why?
We’ve always loved Diana Palmer and Linda Howard. When we started writing erotica, books by Christin Lovell, J.S. Scott and Christa Wick were the first we ever read.
Tell us about your latest book.
Bought, Branded, and Bound is the story of a woman, Macy Trent, who has been in love with her boss forever but knows he would never look at her “that way.” Not only is he looking at her that way, but he’s willing to blackmail her so he can do more than just look. The hero is Logan Quinn, a man who has a wide and varied sexual appetite. He embraced the dom/sub lifestyle in order to get the control he craves. Of course, Macy makes him lose control and he makes her submit for her own pleasure.
What can readers expect from you next? When?
Our next book will be a paranormal, the start of a shifter series of four books. Most will feature curvy girls, but we can’t always guarantee who our wolves will fall in love with. We hope to have this out in August, but whenever we try to give a release date it always bites us in the butt! We also hope to have the novella sequel to Leader of the Pack out in July.
Now on to Bought, Branded and Bound
Macy Trent was a chubby girl but that didn’t mean she obeyed anybody’s rules but her own. That is, until her drop-dead gorgeous boss blackmailed her into submitting to his will. She agrees to spend the weekend with Logan and obey his every command.
Twenty four hours later…Oh my God what have I done?
That’s Macy first thought upon waking and finding herself in Logan Quinn’s bed. As memories of the night before – and her wanton behavior – come flooding back, Macy realizes last night wasn’t her biggest regret, it was falling in love with her drop dead gorgeous boss.
Logan’s curvy assistant is sarcastic, willful, and deliberately disobedient and he’s had enough of her attitude. He knows the only way to get her out of his system is to make her submit. He also knows being a Dom is all about maintaining control. So why does his curvy secretary make him want to break his every rule?
Come join Logan and Macy on their incredibly erotic journey and find out what happens when a good little submissive makes her dominant lose control…
WARNING: For mature audiences only – contains elements of discipline, submission, dominance, hot sex and . . . romance
EXCERPT:
“Again, Macy, why are you being punished?”
Macy was sitting on the end of the bed like a good submissive when Logan entered the bedroom almost an hour later. Luckily he hadn’t finished sooner. She’d taken a quick shower before donning one of his dress shirts and even answered a text from her sister.
“Because I put two sugars in your coffee instead of three.”
“Did you do that deliberately, Miss Trent? You have made coffee for me almost every day since you’ve been in my employ. And you have put one cube of sugar in my coffee each time. Why forget today?”
He stood there, watching her, his eyes flashing with fire. She didn’t know if it was anger or desire. She hoped it was desire.
“Do you know why I think you forgot, Miss Trent?”
She shook her head, unable to speak.
“I think you want to be punished. You want to feel the heat of my hand on your backside. You want to see how much you can tolerate before using your safe word, don’t you, Macy?”
He stepped back and pulled the t-shirt over his head. Next he hooked his thumbs under the waistband of his pajamas and let them slide to the floor. He wore no socks or shoes. Or underwear.
He walked over to the sitting area and placed one of the high-backed chairs in front of the mirrored closets. Taking a seat he motioned her over. “Come, stand in front of me the way you did last night.”
Macy complied, stepping in front of the chair with her back to him. She could feel her blood thrumming through her body. Even though she couldn’t comprehend the satisfaction to be had from spanking—yet—she was excited. Aroused at the thought of having Logan’s hands on her again.
Would she ever get enough of this man?
He reached out, his hands going under the tail of her shirt to trace the shape of her ass. His hands were warm, his touch firm as he stroked her soft flesh, making her tremble.
“Do you like that, Macy?”
Her breathing hitched. His touch was like a narcotic. One simple stroke and she’d do anything to have more. “Yes.”
“Unbutton my shirt.”
As soon as she’d undone the last button, he was tugging her down across his lap, her torso resting on the large curved arm of the chair. The fingers of one hand threaded through her hair, pulling the errant strands away from her face. Suddenly, she could see them in the mirror. He was watching her. Gauging her reaction.
“I want you to watch me spank you, Miss Trent,” he murmured. This was it. The thought both frightened and aroused her.
Macy watched his face, the brooding, hungry look—like a starving man offered a feast, yet afraid it was going to be snatched away before he got a taste. Fascinated by his expression as he stared raptly at her plump cheeks, she missed the rise of his hand.

Mahalia Levey’s Trading Up & Taming Chaos
One of the coolest things about this blog, is that I get the opportunity to interview some of my favorite authors. Today’s no exception. It’s indeed a pleasure for me to welcome Mahalia ‘Hales’ Levey. I think I’ve read most of her published works, and Trading Up is one of them. In fact, you can read my review of this story on Goodreads or Amazon.. But that’s not all. Hales will talk about Taming Chaos, another recent release. What a prolific author!
So come and join Hales and me as she reveals some of her beauty secrets and which authors inspire her the most. And guess what, folks? One lucky person will receive a copy of Trading Up. All you have to do is simply make a comment about any aspect of this interview, and you might be the one to get the copy.
Mahalia, I’m delighted to have you here. Can you tell us how you decided to become an author?
I was writing on a forum with some friends, a shifter storyline mixed with some demon elements and a editor for a publishing house found me, she asked me why I was giving plots away for free and here I am two years later. I never had a desire to be published it just happened
What do you do to stay grounded?
I am a really chill type of girl. I’m pretty well grounded and try to help others who are just beginning by sharing my positive and negative experiences and how to avoid some of the pitfalls I never knew about.
Do you have any beauty secrets you wish to share with your fans?
Beauty secrets? Well I wear wigs and minimal makeup. So my secret is wig it up if you want to sometimes it’s fun to have a great hairdo without all the work!
Which authors inspire you the most?
Jude Deveraux who I just met at RT and got a pic with! Sherrilyn Kenyon, Herman Hess, Shakespeare, Delilah Devlin, my sister, Elle James, Karin Tabke, Kate Douglas, and so many more.
Are there any books you’re currently reading?
I just finished reading a indie book. Real by Katy Evans and Moon by Laurann Dohner.
What message(s) you wish to convey in your books?
I always like to have some sort of positive message that can come from a negative experience. I love to show emotional growth in my heroes and heroines and the happy ever after ending, because a lot of times there is one if we allow ourselves to have one. I like to say sometimes we are our own downfall interfering with happiness over trivial things that in the long run don’t matter.
What is your greatest learning experience as a writer?
Patience and I’m still learning it!
At the risk of showing favoritism, who has been your favorite hero/heroine to write?
Sin from Not Since You. She was my first heroine on a forum I wrote in the very beginning before published and went through a lot as a young woman coming into herself. I never got a chance to give her a HEA. I will go back one day and write her YA years in a Wiccan series.
Finish this sentence: I want to be remembered as…a good friend.
Tell us about your latest releases?
Trading Up released a few weeks ago from Decadent Publishing. It’s my third IR in their 1NS series. Taming Chaos was released just recently from Secret Cravings Publishing.
So you’ve finished these stories. What can readers expect from you next? When?
A few months ago I contracted with SCP to finish my Rock Series and one of my fireman stories. Kiss Me Like You Mean It should be out late summer or early fall
I’m also finishing Demonic Warrior the second in a trilogy and will be self publishing the rest of the trilogy and the Enforcer novellas.
So let’s get to your stories.
Blurb for Trading Up:
Camilla’s deal breakers make finding a man to fit her wants, needs, and desires darn near impossible. For years she’s been primped and primed to be the perfect political daughter, when all she really wants to do is let loose without her world collapsing. When a friend sends her Madam Eve’s way, she grabs the opportunity to explore without being outed to the conservative watchdogs.
Jonah Black’s career is heading for a change. His friends have dubbed him married to the military, and he can’t deny that his focus has been off center. While they enjoy the pleasures of life and wives, he has nothing to come home to. When offered the chance for a 1NS, he signs up, unprepared for the exotic woman whose sweet exterior masks enticing sexuality.
Sensory depravation and the natural freedom of anonymity launch unexpected sexual desires. Madame Eve’s only request–Enjoy the sweetness of life and let the chips fall where they may–leaves this couple eager for an eye-opening experience that breaks all the rules.
Excerpt:
The flames licking inside her were too much to take, along with his roaming hand. She leaned forward and grasped the chilled wine goblet as a lifeline. When he nudged her lips to take a second taste, she pressed them together, holding her finger up and then laughing because he couldn’t see it in the dark. She took a long cool sip, more from Jonah’s effect on her than the food. She licked her lips then tucked herself against him, momentarily satisfied.
“Better?
“Mmm.” Cam sighed. “When’s it your turn? I’m having all the fun.”
“I’m having a good time feeding you.”
“You’re not hungry?” In the dark, his heart pounded against her cheek. “I’m hungry, all right. Ravenous, even.” Jonah caressed her thigh. Cam had no doubt his eyes would scorch her to her very soul. His lazy trail along her skin left her smoldering in need. She let him ply her with another skewer to distract from the throb at the apex of her thighs. She sucked a piece of pineapple he held between his fingers. Juices trickled down her chin. He mopped the stream of liquid with the pad of his thumb and nosily sucked it off. Holy bananas, she wanted a taste of him now. Her mind kept rewinding to the feel of his finger parting her lips.
“I uh…need to use the ladies’ room.” Cam pressed the button on the table for assistance and slid off of Jonah’s lap and into her seat. Seconds later, her guide assisted her out of her chair and slid it back in.
“Here we go, Ms. Knox.”
She stepped awkwardly away from the table. Along the way, she heard soft sighs and giggles. Definitely some hard-core kissing action. The idea of giving in to the dark side and making out in public heightened her ardor. A loud bang startled her. She jumped, almost losing Cesaire’s grasp.
“Don’t worry Ms. Knox. Almost there.” A few more steps and he ushered her into a space where dim lighting burned her dilated pupils for a moment before her eyes adjusted. He sat on a lounge chair between two doors marked Men and Women. The dim glow brought her normal self-conscious thoughts raging forward. In the dark Jonah couldn’t see her physical flaws. Would that change once he saw the real her?
Blurb for Taming Chaos:
Goddess Serephine has come into her powers early. Without the proper tutelage, she spirals out of control, exploding into chaos and harming the current God of Order. Guilt consumes Sere while she’s Chaos at her worst, at her best, she’s a lively young lady. If one man makes her nervous the most, it’s Darvon. God Darvon has been recalled home to take his father’s stead. When he sees him wheelchair bound, he’s determined to have his revenge on the one who harmed him. Until he enters the holding chamber and lays eyes on the pixie face of his childhood friend. In absolute Chaos there can be no peace, with absolute Order there can be no growth. Neither party can deny their godhood. With Astraia demanding that they come to terms and their growing attraction, will they find balance to their souls?
Excerpt 1:
The serene Aegean Sea brought solace to Darvon’s musings. He sat on the deck chair with a glass of soumada, an almond non-alcoholic drink. A soft breeze cooled his warm skin. If he was honest with himself, he’d admit staying on Nisyros had nothing to do with his family and everything to do with Sere. He could have moved to one of the other islands of the Dodecanese.
While his drink satisfied his thirst, raw hunger ate away at him. When he’d touched her soft skin, a need of startling intensity rocketed through him so fast he’d felt the vestiges of his ironclad control slipping from him. The weakness sobered him up fast. Sere was and would forever be dangerous. And now she lay in his father’s house within reach. Complications. He saw nothing but complications.
“Something weighing heavy on your mind, son?” Alister pushed his wheelchair out onto the deck.
Darvon turned to his father and nodded in greeting. “I cannot separate the two women in one. I’ve grown accustomed to dealing and cleaning up Chaos’ aftermath.”
“It’s the way of things. The law of nature. We are and forever will be keepers of Order, she will forever be Chaos at its darkest.”
“Astraia, in all her godly justice, gave me the means to halt Chaos and control her. Now I’m left with thoughts. Will I ever trust Sere? Can she learn to control herself?” He sighed.
“Don’t concern yourself with the evil that has passed, son. The laws of nature demand we look forward, keep your mind set on the good that has yet to come.”
“You quote Hobbes?” Darvon chuckled.
“Seemed a good quote to say for the moment.” Alister laid his hand on his son’s shoulder. “You’re missing the greater picture.”
“Enlighten me with the silver lining then, Father.” Darvon topped up his drink. “Would you care for some?”
“None for me thanks.” He rearranged the light sheet covering his legs. “You now have a chance to have her as you’ve wanted.”
“That’s rich.” Darvon laughed. “She still annoys me, Father. She tugs at my patience. I can’t be the man I’m supposed to be around her.” The adolescent yearning sound of his words embarrassed him.
“Things weren’t always so, Darvon. You judge too much. That’s one thing I always regretted. I never wanted you to be the next Order. I’d hoped you would have a task with less responsibility.”
“Why? I enjoy being who I am.”
“Do you? Do you live, dream, and enjoy the ray of warm sunlight on your face?”
Darvon shrugged. “I don’t have time to dream. The sun rises and it sets. Why would I care if it warms my face?”
“That, my boy, is the whole point. You’re too concerned with Orderliness that you don’t appreciate the finer things in life. The love of a good woman, the smell of an expensive cigar, the taste of fine whiskey as it burns your throat.”
“If you want some whiskey, I’ll have some brought to you.” Darvon leaned back in his chair, agitated as he crossed his legs. “There’s a proper place for everything. It pleases me to have certain things arranged.”
Perfection is what I am, and it’s a rule I live by. There’s not a thing wrong with how I run my life. Disorder is, and will always be, unacceptable. He wasn’t an obsessive-compulsive person by any means though.
“I don’t have OCD,” he insisted. Not every glass in his cupboard faced the same way, nor were his clothes color-coded in his closet.
“No, what you have is much worse. You have no time to live because you’re too busy policing to have a substantial relationship with anyone. That’s how I’ve failed you.”
“Do you want me to bring home the women I date? I figured the one I marry will eventually meet you. I assure you, my appetites are healthy, my needs are met.”
“Who you bring home is up to you. When you can embrace emotion and step away without blinders on, we’ll speak of life again. This talk has worn me out.”
“Let me help you inside then.”
“No. I can see myself in.” Alister wheeled away from his son.
Darvon watched his father leave and questioned if his words held merit.
An hour later, Darvon still questioned his fate. “Bah!” He stood, his abrupt motion causing the chair to tilt back. He caught the armrest, righted the chair and blew out a steadying breath. Even without meaning to, Sere had wrecked his perfectly structured life. Determination seized him. His leisurely amble hastened as he stalked to Sere’s quarters to put some boundaries between them. Only when he eased open the door intent to speak, lust overrode his thoughts.
Adult Excerpt:
Darvon stroked Sere’s head. Ahead of them lay the stretch of beach leading into the mouth of the Katsouni caves. During the busy season, the public and tourists used the hot springs during the day. Reserving the caves took coaxing and a promise of returning a favor.
When they arrived, he parked the car and woke Sere up with a gentle shake. “Beautiful, we’ve arrived.” He exited the car and rounded it to open her door.
“Oh, we haven’t been here in forever.” She laughed in pleasure.
Darvon slipped his hand in hers. “Not since we were kids and ran away from home. Let’s go see how much it’s changed.” He failed to mention he’d come and laid out their things for the night.
“Oh, smell the Earth.” Sere tugged his hand. Once they entered, she rubbed her hand over his in excitement.
“Do you think the stalagmites and stalactites have changed much? Remember the bear’s teeth in the rock you scared me with?”
“I’m more interested in the springs, gataki,” he said and winked.
“A dip sounds heavenly.” She leaned into his embrace.
“We can explore later if we have time.” He planned to run his hands over every inch of her body, both in the water and out. He smelled her arousal and her hesitancy and grinned. The dark nature in him coaxed him, prodded him to fulfill his needs.
“You’re bad.” She swatted him.
“No, well-behaved, till now.” He spun her to face him and crushed his lips to hers. She tasted of sweet honey. He dipped his tongue in deeper and mashed his body against hers. Need slammed into his gut and hardened his cock against her.
“Darvon.” Sere moaned, sliding her hands up his chest.
He broke away, ran his finger over her bottom lip, and then took her hand as he walked backward, leading her farther into the depths of the cave. Her confusion ate at him. He was in no way done with her, not by a long shot. His ears picked up the faint trickle of water. He guided her through the pillars, following the sound. Running water pinged off the cave walls near the hot springs, branching off into an open sky vegetative landscape ripe with bushes and plant life in a multitude of pastel colored flowers.
“Beautiful,” Sere exclaimed. Above them the cave walls rose, leading to a crystal clear blue sky without the heat index. Serenity surrounded them. She breathed in the aroma of their private paradise. Her enjoyment pleased him.
Darvon leaned against a pillar and began removing his shirt, button by button, before slipping it off and onto a limestone ledge. His dick hurt, constricted by the zipper of his jeans, yet he didn’t look from her eyes as he stripped. The gentle hitch in her breath, the tilt of her head and her eyes gazing at his throbbing cock made his hunger for her increase tenfold. He’d never encountered the gut clenching need to possess before. The pheromones she radiated consumed him, rivaling the scents enveloping them.
“Why don’t you get comfortable?”
Sere’s hands shook as she unclasped the back of her halter top. The silk scraps of material slid down, folding over the v shape of her cleavage, giving a tantalizing view of her rosy areolas. “Like that?”
“Hell yeah.” Darvon took his cock in his hand and stroked it, once, then twice, and crooked his finger at her. “Come closer, lose more.”
Sere hooked her fingers around her soft skirt, approaching him. At a hand’s reach away, she turned and bent over at the waist, drawing her skirt to the cavern floor.
Darvon’s eyes bugged out of his head. Beautiful pink lips winked at him, glistened with arousal. “Now that is sexy,” he growled in appreciation of her bare pussy.
“It feels deliciously naughty,” Sere said, straightening to turn around and take his cock in her hand. “I’ve wanted this so bad.”
“Show me.” She’d become bold in his absence. He let her take the lead and stifled back a groan of pleasure as she stroked him from tip to base.

Meet Author Don Abdul
Guess why I’m exceptionally happy! If you figured out that it’s because I’m about to interview my first male guest, then you’re absolutely correct. Author Don Abdul is visiting today. He’ll tell us about his latest release Checkmate, as well as his idea of the perfect date, and what he loves in a woman. And, oh, you’ll get the link to download one of Don’s free eBooks right here. Wow! Isn’t that amazing!
Don, it’s a pleasure and privilege to have you here today. Tell us a little about yourself.
Thank you very much Roxy, it’s great to be here.
I am Don Abdul, a 43 year-old man of many interesting parts. I was born and raised in a small town in Nigeria, where the townsfolk would probably crucify me for daring to write erotica as I now do (Laughs). I also enjoy being a dad.
What is your passion?
Writing is my passion, particularly writing erotic fiction.
What do you do to just kick back and have some fun?
For relaxation I have a few things that I like to do. When the weather is right I like to go to the beach where I find that perfect spot and get very cozy with a good book, in between enjoying the other pleasures of the cool sea breeze and other sights and sounds.
I also enjoy good movies.
What is the funniest/weirdest pick-up line you’ve ever used on a lady?
“Hi, remember me? We met last night…. in my dream.” LOL
What is your idea of the perfect date?
Romantic candle lit dinner and a scary movie afterwards… *Laughs*
Seriously, that would be a romantic picnic by the lake.
Finish this sentence: I love a woman who …
I love a woman who is not only beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside too. She is smart, pretty and endowed with sexy curves.*Winks*
How did you become a writer?
I’m not sure I could tell you why I started writing for sure, but I can say this, my life didn’t feel complete without it. I simply had a basic instinct to write, and I soon discovered that it helped me make sense of the world around me. May I also add that I hated having to read badly written stories, so I decided to write some good ones of my own.
Which genre do you write?
I write Erotic fiction.
What do your significant others think about the stories you write?
Over the years, they have remained fans of my writing and find the stories quite stimulating.
Do you have a book girlfriend?
Yes I do. Her name is Nimah Washington, and she is the heroine from my book A Reluctant Slave.
Tell us about your latest release.
My current book is titled Checkmate. This book is incidentally the very first of my work to be published by Horny Devil Publishing.
All of my stories are inspired by the wishes, aspirations and secret fantasies that form the interesting back stories in the lives of my characters regardless of their public persona. The inspiration for Checkmate is consistent with this idea. It exposes the unspoken racial tension in the social dynamics supposedly racially liberal workplace and the delicate balances that had to be maintained in order not to upset the applecart.
Please, share some juicy details about your book.
The characters are respectable socialites, and senior corporation employees whose public personae appear above reproach until their desire for power and control begin to unfold as they engage one another in mind games. The battle of wits that ensure exposes their secret fantasies and sexual proclivities begin to unfold.
Ambition, rivalry, revenge, lust and other human follies feature in the intricately spun yarn that is the story Checkmate. It end on a happy note as love triumphed over oppression. And the young interracial couple got a damn good shot at ever after.
I hope you enjoy meeting the characters.
Is there anyone you give credit to for helping you write this book?
Really, the credit goes to my teeming readers and fans whose desire for the stories that I write continues to fuel my passion to bring hotter stories and more colorful characters to life in my books.
The team at HDP also deserve some credit, they were great and did fantastic job of putting it all together in the best possible way.
What has the experience of writing this book taught you?
It has taught me the value of patience and determination as key ingredients to a successful book project.
What can readers expect from you next? When?
Readers should be on the lookout for my next book titled Forced to Submit. The manuscript is in the process of being published by Horny Devil Publishing at the moment, and it should be available in the next month or so. Details shall be made available in my blog and Facebook page.
Now onto your latest release Checkmate.
Handsome black employee, Stanford Jordan, is seduced by Peggy, the daughter of the firm’s white conservative Senior Executive, Constance Munroe. When their raunchy encounter is caught on tape, Peggy’s devious stepmother turns to blackmail.
With no choice, Stan submits to her brutal domination. Humiliated, he enlists the help of ‘Fix,’ a childhood friend, in exacting the perfect revenge. Will the ruthless Domme concede when she suddenly finds herself at the mercy of the man she had so wickedly abused? Will Peggy discover their secret? Will Stan have to declare Checkmate and lose it all?

Author Bio:
Don Abdul is a forty-something year old writer and author of erotic fiction. He discovered the escape offered by creative writing from an early age. His journey as an author of erotic fiction began with a passion for writing erotic poetry and then spicy short stories.
His choice of erotic fiction was informed by the freedom it affords to push the envelope, break taboos, and explore issues of sex and sexuality in ways his teeming readers can relate to. Some of his other works of erotic fiction have been published under my Nom de plume, Tyrese Jordan.
