#MSSWeek11 My Sexy Saturday – He’s So Into You (Healing Hearts) – Part 4
Oh, time surely flies! It’s hard to believe it’s week 11 of My Sexy Saturday Blog Hop. It’s that time again when I get the chance to share with you my definition of the term sexy. Already, I’ve given you three definitions, but in case you don’t remember, just check them out here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
So what’s my fourth definition of the term sexy? Well, it’s simply this: when a woman is not afraid, or ashamed about dominating the proceedings which take place between her and her man in the bedroom. A woman who has no qualms about taking control. Now, that’s sexy!
In the following 7 paragraphs of my debut novella, He’s So Into You, Raina does just that. She’s not afraid to let Jordan know what she wants. And it’s him. In bed. Right now. Isn’t that sexy?
My Sexy Excerpt:
Jordan snatched the menu from off the bedside table. “Let’s try room service.”
Raina turned to Jordan, a mischievous smile on her lips. “Can we do that a little later?” She ran her fingers lightly across his torso. “I’m hungry for something else right now.” She leaned over and tickled his ear with her tongue, sliding her hand further south.
“Now, who am I to refuse such a request?” Jordan groaned when she found the sensitive hollow between his neck and shoulder blade.
Damn, she’s so hot.
Raina worked her way down his muscular torso until she reached her intended target, his hard cock. She bathed the mushroom tip with her tongue and slurped up the pre-cum which started to seep out of his slit. Much to his delight she took him deep in her mouth, so deep, he almost purred when he felt his dick hit the back of her throat. Without being cocky, and he swore no pun was intended, he acknowledged his width and length were impressive, but damn if Raina wasn’t determined to get the job done, and done right. “Fuck…baby,” he groaned. “I like what you’re doing to my cock. Don’t stop.” Jordan continued to urge her on, thrusting his pelvis even further so she could get more of him inside her mouth. Raina didn’t seem to mind one bit, because she just kept on working his cock, one plunge at a time.
Her every touch caused a firestorm. It was un-fucking-believable, she had him so worked up, so aroused, he wasn’t sure he would be able to hold on much longer. Jordan ground his teeth, his self-control slipping, one suck at a time. “You’ve got to stop, Raina, or this will end before it even gets started.” Raina continued to brand his cock with her hot tongue. Jordan couldn’t help himself, he gripped her locks and yanked her toward him. “If you don’t stop now it will end pretty quickly,” he warned.
Her wicked gleam almost did him in. “You’re telling me this because…”

Cover Reveal – A Writer’s Proposal (Writer’s Love series) Book 2 – Robert Wacaster
Synopsis:
Robert and Katie have decided they are in love and plan to get married. Robert has promised to propose, but hasn’t actually done so yet. Robert, Katie, and Katie’s sister Jill all plan a trip to Florida so Robert can meet their parents and Katie’s mostly disapproving father. Will Robert somehow find acceptance with Katie’s parents?
Excerpt:
After driving all through the day, the sun was just passing the horizon as the tired group pulled in to a small two story house in Tampa, Florida. All three of them, Robert, Katie and Jill, were exhausted from the day’s ride. As they pulled in to the small driveway, an older man and woman came out of the house and stood waiting near the front door.
Katie climbed out of the car and helped Robert out of the back seat. She then took his hand and walked quickly up to her parents. As she neared the house’s porch, she let go of Robert’s hand and ran to hug her father. Katie hugged him tightly, and then hugged her mother. Jill hugged them both too. Katie then turned around and grabbed Robert’s hand again and led him up towards her parents.
“Mom, dad, this is Robert.”
Robert held out his hand politely and Katie’s mother shook it warmly. “Robert, we’ve heard so much about you. It’s so nice to finally meet you in person. Welcome.”
After a few seconds of staring at Robert, Katie’s father finally reached out and shook his hand too.
“Well, let’s go inside. We can get the luggage in a bit. We can get you all settled in first.” her father said quietly. He led them all into the house and sat himself down in a chair in the living room. He gestured for Katie and Robert to sit on a nearby couch. As they sat down, Katie squeezed Robert’s hand tightly. Jill and Katie’s mother sat nearby in a couple of other chairs.
“So…you’re the guy who thinks he’s going to marry my daughter?” Katie’s father asked.
“Jim! That’s no way to welcome our guest!” Katie’s mother growled. “We’ve talked about this!”
“Em…I know we talked, but you know how I feel about this. I need to know what makes the boy tick.”
“Don’t you dare alienate him!”
“Well…” Robert started.
“Yes, we’ve decided we’re going to get married, daddy. I told you that.” Katie said quietly.
“And you’re some kind of writer who thinks he can support my daughter, correct?”
“He’s a best selling author, daddy. Of course he can support me. Could you support mom when you first got married?”
“Of course I could. Katie, marriage is a huge step in life. I just want to make sure you’re doing the right thing for the right reasons.”
Robert glanced at Katie. “Katie…”
“And how long have you two been going out?”
“Daddy, we’ve been together a little over a month, if you must know. And Robert says that…”
“Can Robert answer for himself?” Jim shouted, aggravation in his voice.
“Jim, stop this!” Katie’s mother Emily stood up from her seat.
Robert looked from Katie to Emily. “No, let him ask me what he wants to know. He’s concerned about who his daughter wants to spend her life with and has a right to know about me. Let him ask me whatever he wants, and I’ll give him honest answers.”
“He wants to make you out to be a bad guy!” Katie said, turning towards Robert. “He’s always so…over protective. I’m a grown woman now!”
Jim looked at his daughter and sighed. “Katherine, you, Jill, and your mother go upstairs and get settled in.”
“Come on Robert.” Katie said getting up. She tried to pull Robert up, but he stayed seated.
“I need to stay here.” Robert answered, looking at both Katie and her mother. “You girls go ahead, I’ll be fine.”
Katie reached out and touched Robert’s cheek gently. Robert nodded at her, and as she passed her father, Katie whispered, “Please be nice to him.”
Emily also walked past Jim and leaned down towards him. “If I hear any yelling from up there, God help you!”

Book Spotlight – Trusting Patience – Jennifer Simpkins
After a scorching hot kiss that happened years ago, Jesse Daniels has wondered what it would be like to have something more with her longtime best friend. The only problem is, besides some mild flirting, Bradley Lawrence has never hinted at sharing her feelings. In fact, he doesn’t even remember the kiss.
Bradley has many loves—his hometown, farming…and women. For the most part he lives a carefree life with no plans of changing—until he discovers the feelings Jesse has secretly had for him. Now, she is all he can think about, and it’s going to take a lot of convincing to get Jesse to see that he is a changed man. But in the end it all comes down to one simple fact—is it worth the risk of ruining their friendship over the possibility of finding love?
Excerpt:
A knock came at the back door. It had to be someone she or her parents knew, because those were the only people who used the back way. She pulled open the door to find…Bradley.
He stood under the soft glow of the porch light, wearing a devilish grin. His gaze swept down her body before he jerked his focus back on her face. Jesse was reminded of what she wore. Clearly, she almost being naked was the last thing he’d expected when he decided to grace her door. It was the last thing she’d expected. But she was at home, dressed for comfort and the stifling heat threatening to steal all oxygen.
Her skin tingled. There was nothing sexy about her hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and sweat covering her body and sliding between her breasts, but…if he kept looking at her like he’d just come upon a naughty little secret, she would be convinced he was picturing her naked.
Her first instinct was to retreat to her room to pull a shirt over her electric-blue sports bra, but instead, she forced her legs to stay planted. Plus, whatever the temperature was downstairs, it was twice that upstairs in her room.
“Why are you here?” She hadn’t seen him since the diner incident the day before. She was hoping she wouldn’t have to face him again so soon. “Tommy’s not here.”
“I’m not looking for Tommy. If I was, I would just go to his house,” he said. “I wanted to see you.”
She swallowed back her fear of what he would say next. “Why?”
He raked a hand through his hair and briefly stared at his boots. “Hell, Jesse, I don’t know…I just do. You seemed really upset yesterday, and I don’t know why you’re mad at me, because for once I don’t think I did anything wrong.”
“I’m not mad at you, Bradley.” She didn’t know if she was lying or not. Everything was messed up at the moment.
“Then why are your eyes shooting darts at me right now? You can’t lie to me, Jess. I know you better than you think. What’s wrong with me asking you out?”
Her face heated at the memory of the day before. “Just because we kissed, that doesn’t mean you have to be honorable or anything.”
“The honorable thing? I’m not asking you out because we kissed…well, I guess I am, but I don’t feel like I have to or anything. I want to go out on a date with you. It has everything to do with how that kiss made me feel, and nothing to do with me being honorable.”
“When did you start examining your kisses with women?” She turned her back to him, leaving the door open for him to follow if he wanted, and walked back toward the living room. “We kissed, please don’t read anything more into it.”
She heard the door shut, followed by Bradley’s swearing. “God, Jess, it’s a fucking scorcher in here. No wonder you’re stripped down to practically nothing. How are you standing this?”
“I’m not. I’m just trying not to think about it. The air conditioning unit went out today.”
“Is someone coming to look at it? This can’t be good for your dad.”
“The repair man is coming tomorrow, I hope. My parents went out tonight. So, my dad isn’t home right now.”
She sat down on the couch first, allowing Bradley to sit as close as he wanted to her. Big mistake. He wasn’t right on top of her, but he also wasn’t sitting on the far end either. For the entire second inning of the game they sat and stared at the television. She didn’t know about him, but she was looking at the screen and not really seeing it. The change between them had become awkward, and she didn’t like it. Her longing for them to be something more than what they really were was causing a rift in their friendship. And the obvious solution would be to take him up on the offer of going on a date, but one date wouldn’t be enough for her. And Bradley’s track record told her one date was all he could offer her.
During a commercial break, Bradley spoke up, “I don’t like this.” When she didn’t say anything in return, he sighed. “Tell me you’ve thought about us…together.”
Together…as in sex? If that’s what he meant, then yes…she thought about it often. She would have to be dead to not think about the possibility of being with him.
He muted the television as he turned to face her, making him a lot closer than she was comfortable with. “I have lately.”
She took a chance and stared back at him. “I don’t know what else you want me to say, Bradley.”
“Maybe I don’t want you to anything. Maybe I really just came here for this…”
Bradley was cupping the back of her head, drawing her in, and she was too lost in the heat in his eyes to know she needed to push him away. His lips were touching hers before she could suck in a breath.
At first the kiss was slow—too slow for how she was feeling.
The more his mouth moved over hers, the more she allowed herself to go with it. When his tongue swept inside her mouth, she leaned into him, leaving little to no space between them.
His hands glided along her bare skin. With every tantalizing stroke of his work-hard hands, she found herself wanting what he had to give her…just for the moment anyway. She’d accepted the fact that he was not going to suddenly fall in love with her. Wanting a commitment and leaving a life of bachelorhood was not him, and she had to be okay with that. It was either accept him…or drive herself crazy.

Book Spotlight – A Writer’s Love Story (Writer’s Love series) Book 1 – Robert Wacaster
Katie Benson has never been good with men. And after finding out that her current boyfriend is actually married and has kids, she is devastated. But the devastation doesn’t last long as a man named Robert walks into her life. He’s a handsome, best selling author and sweeps Katie off her feet. Falling in love over a weekend, Robert soon has to leave Katie to travel to Hollywood, California to consult on casting for a movie being made from his first book. Can Robert and Katie survive a long distance relationship? Or will this be just another Writer’s Love Story?
Excerpt:
Robert met his driver, but before heading to pick up Katie, he had the driver stop at a florist. Robert purchased a large bouquet of carnations with two yellow roses. He could feel his heart beating the entire drive. No one, to Robert’s recollection, had ever made him this nervous.
After a fairly long ride, the driver stopped in front of a small house. “Here we are, sir, this is the address you gave me.”
As Robert got out of the car, he could feel his knees shaking. He couldn’t remember ever being this nervous. He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. A brown-haired girl with a very nasty look on her face opened the door.
“Uh hi…I’m here to see Katie,” Robert said shakily.
The girl looked him up and down. “Are you now? Thought you’d bring her flowers and make things all better? Well, it’s not going to work, piss off!” The woman then slammed the door.
Robert was stunned. He turned and looked back at the driver, who was leaning on the hood of the car pretending not to watch. He reached over and rang the doorbell again. Once again, the nasty girl opened the door.
“I thought I told you to piss off?” she screamed. “Did you think you could just screw her while you were married? Is she some little toy to you? Who do you think you are?”
“Um…I think you might have me confused…” Robert began nervously.
“No, you’re the one that’s confused!” the woman yelled. She grabbed the flowers from Robert’s hand and began to hit him with them. Robert tried to shield his head and ran off the porch. The girl chased him across the lawn, scattering the flowers everywhere.
“If you come near this house ever again, I’m calling the police!” The girl screamed as she ran back inside and slammed the door.
Robert walked back to the car and leaned against the hood next to the driver.
“Is that your date?” the driver asked, laughing. “She seems really charming.”
Robert gave him a dirty look and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Katie’s cell phone number.
“Hello?” Katie answered brightly.
“Uh…hi Katie, it’s Robert. Are you mad at me for some reason?”
“Mad at you? No, why would you think that?”
“Well, I think I’m at the right address, but…”
“Okay…is something wrong?”
“I just rang your doorbell and some crazy lady answered and beat me off your porch with the flowers I brought for you.”
“You just…oh my God, that was you? Oh Robert, I am so, so sorry! That was my sister. She said it was my ex boyfriend! Please don’t be mad!”
“Oh it’s no problem. But can you just come out when you’re ready to go? I think I should probably just wait out here for you.”
“You don’t want to come inside? I promise she’ll behave this time! She didn’t know who you were! I’ll open the door myself. I’ll be there in just a minute.”
“Okay,” Robert said hesitantly. He still leaned against the car and after a few seconds saw Katie open the door smiling. He hung up his cell phone and pushed himself away from the car. Robert walked across the lawn toward the house, glancing at the flowers scattered on the lawn.
As he got to the door, Katie reached out and gave him a gentle hug. Then, she took him by the hand and led him inside. The nasty girl was sitting on a couch in the living room, scowling at him.
“Robert, this is my little sister, Jill. Jill, this is Robert! He’s an author from B and W and asked me to dinner. It’s not Stewart.”
Robert raised a hand, “Hi, Jill.”
Jill’s expression changed from anger to surprise. “You’re not…you’re…this isn’t the married guy?”
“No, his name is Robert. I’m sorry, I should have told you I had a date tonight.”
“You aren’t…and I…oh my God, the language I used! I am so sorry! I thought, I mean Katie had told me that…I really am so sorry!” Jill covered her mouth with a hand, looking extremely embarrassed.
“Uh…no problem.” Robert replied quietly. “So…you’re her little sister?”
“Katie’s very embarrassed little sister, yes. I really am sorry, Mr.….?”
“Wacaster. Robert Wacaster. Please, call me Robert, though.” Robert stepped up near the couch and held out his hand towards Jill.
Jill politely shook his hand. “Robert. Very nice to meet you. Uh…I think I should probably go to my room now. Again, I’m really sorry about earlier at the door. I thought you were someone else.”
Robert tried to hide his smile. “Very nice to meet you, too. And don’t worry about earlier. Things happen.”
Jill got up from the couch and quickly walked out of the room.

Author Interview – Aliyah Burke
Author Aliyah Burke is one of the authors who has inspired me to write romance stories. So, it’s with great pleasure I welcome her to my blog today. Aliyah will share with us her greatest learning experience as a writer, and tell us a little bit about one of her recent releases, His Purrfect Mate. I must confess I love the play of words in this title.
Aliyah, I’m delighted to have you here. Can you tell us how you decided to become an author?
Thank you so much for having me here! It happened in college actually, one morning, I woke up and the voices began talking to me. Kinda been downhill ever since then.
What do you do to stay grounded?
I am blessed and extremely humbled to have the readers I do and I thank each and every one of them for all the amazing support. I am a grounded kind of person anyway, it’s how I was raised and I would like to think that has stuck with me throughout my journey as an author.
Do you have any beauty secrets you wish to share with your fans?
LOL. Nope. Sorry, I’m an woman who goes without makeup. I work with animals and let me tell you, having animal hair sticking to lipstick or mascara, anything like that, not worth it for me.
Who are your role models?
Easy. My parents. Every day I aspire to be someone that they will be proud of.
What are some things most people don’t know about you?
I’m extremely shy. Absolutely terrified of arachnids and bovine.
Are there any books you’re currently reading?
I’m reading some military fiction and some historical stories now. Unfortunately with my schedule, I don’t get to read as much as I used to, so the days which I can read, I do so voraciously.
What message(s) you wish to convey in your books?
Not sure there’s a message other than true love will find a way no matter the obstacle. I want my readers to go on an adventure with each of my stories and have them top some emotions within each person.
What is your greatest learning experience as a writer?
To have a tough skin. No matter what you write, you’ll never be able to make everyone happy and because of that, there are some who will look to slice you down with their words. You can’t let it affect you.
Finish this sentence: I want to be remembered as…
A good person, one who helped others.
Tell us about your latest release?
My latest solo release was His Purrfect Mate. It’s a paranormal story that ties into a free read site that I’m part of with two other authors, McKenna Jeffries and Taige Crenshaw. This story follows Dane Sidorov as he searches for something he’s not so sure he will ever be allowed to have. Happiness. Aida Roberts is the heroine and she is exactly what this man needs. As with all my stories, it has a HEA.
So you’ve finished this story. What can readers expect from you next? When?
I have releases in Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec this year. A mixture of jointly written stories, solo ventures, and a self pub as well. Next year I’m starting some new series and the information will be given out in my yahoo group and in the newsletter as soon as I know more deets on it.
Thank you, again, so much for having me here. I had a blast.
Dane Sidorov needs a break and time to heal. What he doesn’t need is a cute little and most definitely sexy distraction named, Aida Roberts. Or the emotions meeting her stirred up within him. But this dark-skinned vixen didn’t seem to realize what she had done to him, or what she means to his soul.
Aida Roberts loves her life in South Africa. She has met all kinds of people, some who need help and some who don’t, but all interesting. When she runs into the larger-than-life Dane Sidorov, she wondered if he didn’t actually need help despite his portrayal calm and confidence.
There was something wild and untamed about him as he stared at her with his amazing eyes. A feeling of “safety” and “danger” emanated from him. Would this unusual man be able to let her in, or would his secret drive them further apart? When the darkness threatens, will Dane sacrifice himself or allow her to help save him? Can he accept the fact she is nothing less than…
His Purrfect Mate
Excerpt:
Dane shook his head. “It’s not right. Get out of there.” He slithered on his belly toward the helo holding his friends. His unit.
“They’re coming, Crypt. We have to get going. Get your ass here now! That’s an order.”
“Get out!” Dane lunged to his feet and began to run toward the helicopter, uncaring of the fact he totally exposed himself. “Get out of there!”
“We’re powering up. Either you’re here or we’re gonna have to meet you at the second rendezvous.”
The low whine of the chopper’s engine reached him. Dane pushed himself faster, calling on more speed. He burst from the tree line and headed for the bird. In the splinters of light he could make out the tense face of Doc.
Where’s Slim? He should be by the door. Dane couldn’t pick out his silhouette in the interior of the helo, and he could see pretty well. Two more steps were all he took before a fiery blast engulfed the helicopter, lifted him off his feet, and knocked him back into the trees. He hit hard, the sturdiness of the old tree not giving an inch to his body.
Fragments of the helicopter rushed by him, cutting through his parka and digging into his flesh. Dane didn’t have time to yell before darkness overtook him.
Voices reached him, stirring him further from the hold unconsciousness had upon him.
“I don’t know. He should be here. He was almost to the chopper when it blew. Hell, for all I know his body may have been incinerated as well.”
“Collect the rest of the wreckage.”
That voice rang familiar. Anger stirred and rose up within Dane. He could smell the gun oil and made out eleven separate heartbeats. Instinct took over, and Dane lay in wait, blending in with nature, his gaze fixed on one man of the group. A man he had trusted with his life. He snarled silently, his razor-sharp fangs thirsty for blood. The traitor’s blood.
“Wreckage is gathered, sir. No bodies. Only some blood and prints.”
“Prints?” the man asked. “Boot?”
“No sir. Animal. Tiger. And it looks like a big one.”
A loud roar pierced the frozen night. Eleven heartbeats sped up. The scent of their fear permeated the cold air. A smell which served to feed his desire to kill. Kill them all.
“I think the tiger wants us out of his area.”
“Can’t we shoot it? Always wanted to bag me a tiger.”
“No! They’re very protective of the few remaining. It’s probably tagged, and there would be a big investigation were it to be found dead or missing.”
“Damn. All that care of a dumb animal. And the people?”
“It was a Black Op. Never happened. Let’s go.”
As their chopper lifted off, another roar sliced the air. One of anger, hate, and the promise of retribution and revenge. Tawny-green-gold eyes followed the path the helicopter flew, and when it could no longer be seen, they closed, and the darkness came again.

My Sexy Saturday – He’s So Into You (Healing Hearts) – Part 3
Welcome to week 10 of My Sexy Saturday Blog Hop.
Here’s my third definition of the word sexy. Sexy is when a man uses his lips, his teeth and his tongue, to bring his lover sexual fulfillment, at least for a few moments. And this is exactly what Jordan does as he uses his talented mouth to worship Raina’s body, which causes her to act in ways she would have never done under normal circumstances. This is illustrated in the 7 seven sentences from my debut, erotic romance novella, He’s So Into You.
Excerpt:
Jordan nibbled, sucked and laved every exposed surface of her body as he slowly made his way upwards. When he merely grazed her mons, she whimpered in protest. However, the way he dipped his tongue and laved her navel caused her to groan in absolute pleasure. Several minutes later, he plucked one of her nipples with his mouth and nibbled it until she writhed beneath him. Once the intensity of the feelings Jordan elicited from her became too overbearing, she grabbed a fistful of his hair, halting his sensual torture of her other breast. Lightning bolts of pleasure pooled around her pussy. Book Spotlight – Nightie Night (Lingerie Series) – Yvette Hines
Kalan Henderson has had her eyes set on Aaren Reston for the last two years. When the sexy, brown-haired hunk with light green eyes became the newest senior executive at her job she knew she had to have him. However, over the years he hasn’t given her an ounce of encouragement that he’d be receptive to the idea of something in the recreational department between them. That is until she’s selected to work extra hours with him on an assignment.
Six weeks of discovering Aaren is more than a hot body and pretty face has just made Kalan lust after him even more. Then one night everything changed and the after hour’s heat exploded to a level she could never have imagined. But soon Kalan discovers that the man of her dreams may have secrets that will wreck the fantasy of what they could have in an instant.
