Now I wanted to answer a few questions you might have about the Kindle Worlds and Southern Shifters.
1. The books are only available in the US at amazon.com, they will not be available on any international amazon sites.
2. “Why can’t I get this on Nook.” – This is a Kindle Exclusive for the Kindle Worlds line.
3. “I don’t understand, is this a bundle?” – No, it isn’t a bundle. These are stories set in Eliza’s world using elements from it and our own spin.
4. “Do these have to be read in order?” – Nope, but I think you would enjoy our elements more is you’ve read the stories. I took the things I loved about SHIFTIN’ DIRTY and weaved them into LION FOR HER.
Madison Templeton, known to most as Maddie, is going through a break-up. The man she thought was her mate, actually wasn’t. While that should break her heart, and it did a little, she’s more upset about losing her best friend and confidant, her ex-boyfriend’s twin brother Van. When the opportunity to escape town and help her cousin out at her bakery comes around, she jumps at it. A little time away to get her head back on straight seems like the perfect way to get some distance.
Van Bowman thought all he could have since the day Maddie unwittingly picked his twin brother over him, was friendship. He’s had to love her quietly from a distance, and find comfort in being her confidant. Now that his brother has broken up with her, Van is ready to claim the woman that should have been his from the beginning. He made a mistake not telling her how he felt, and he aims to fix that. He’ll do anything to convince her she belongs to him, even chase after her and face off against her new protective friends.

Mystic Monday: Parvati Falls in Love

Heroine: Parvati
Hero: Colin Patterson
Ahhh Parvati. She loves love but hasn’t had the best of luck in that arena. In fact, guys have started going out with her as a way to find their one true love. She’s pretty sick of being the girl guys date in order to find another girl. Thank goodness she’s a lesser Goddess of love and has Eros on her side. He’s decided she deserves to finally find the man of her dreams.
The man of her dreams is also the man of her living nightmare. Computer geek Colin ends up with a bad case of foot-in-mouth disease the first time he sees Parvati. Mistaking her for the company secretary, he promptly talks about the “boss” behind her back.
Needless to say, Parvati is not impressed with the man and he has a lot of ground to make up when he realizes his mistake.
While writing Parvati my love of Indian food kicked back in. It had been years since I’d had any. In fact the last time I had Indian food was when we were stationed in England. This book was the perfect excuse to check out the local paces where I lived. I found a restaurant not too far from the house by the mane of Aroma, that does lunch buffet. One price, all I can eat Indian food, I was totally on board.
We sampled so many dishes and found a few new ones that I could eat over and over again. There was Naan bread, chicken tikka masala, soups, channa masala, basmati puloa, and our newest dessert obsession galub juman.
Galub Juman is dry milk and cottage cheese balls deep fried and soaked in honey and rose water. I know, I know, it doesn’t sound like it should be good but it is fantastic. So sweet and tasty. If you get a chance to try them I definitely recommend them.

WIP Wednesday: Adrian
SERIES: Mystic Zodiac
BOOK: 8
Lucas chuckled. “Don’t give me that look. And do go thinking I don’t know all about you, Adrian. I check out all of the people who apply to work here. Carol may have hired you but I know all about your other job. You’re a dragon; it’s to be expected. But try to keep your hands off the gems of young, hot girls.” Lucas gave him a knowing look.
Adrian worked to keep his face from flushing at being caught. Thank the Gods, or his parents, for his darker complexion. “Yes, sir.”
“Good. Just don’t do it again. Carol was able to convince the girl she wasn’t wearing it when she came in. But then I expected nothing less from my progeny. Now tell me about this Chinese Dragon and why you need to find her. I may know a few people who can help if need be.”

Seekrit Project has been revealed!

WHAT IS KINDLE WORLDS?
To answer that we first must discuss the concept of FAN FICTION, which is the tradition of fans (of television, comics, and literature) penning their own stories in their favorite fictional worlds. They write for their own satisfaction and to share their words with fellow fans of the worlds in which they are writing, on their blog or on dedicated fan fiction websites. The most famous fan fiction story is of course by E.L. James who originally wrote 50 Shades of Grey as fan fiction of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. As the cycle continues, fans of James’s 50 Shades now write their own stories. The Big Bang Theory TV show might offer the most amusing example of fan fic in the episode “The Troll Manifestation” where Amy writes Little House on the Prairie fan fiction starring her as the 19th Century heroine “Amelia” and Sheldon as a time traveling physicist from the future.
Amazon’s innovation, KINDLE WORLDS, entered the fan fiction scene in 2013 as a way for both the creators of the worlds that inspire fan fiction as well as those writing that fan fiction to make their original stories widely available to the reading public easily, legally, and for profit. Kindle Worlds began by licensing popular worlds such as Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, and Gossip Girl. In June of 2014, Kindle Worlds dove into the Romance Genre with the addition of worlds by, among others, Bella Andre, Barbara Freethy, H.M. Ward and Cat Johnson. Now, Kindle Words is growing again, launching new worlds in many genres, including a Kindle World for Eliza Gayle’s Southern ShifterSeries.

Mystic Monday: Looking Back at Thane

Hero: Thane
Heroine: Amara Hope
Thane is a Fallen Angel, a Grigori, banished to the earthy realm for doing what Zeus himself does best. He doesn’t keep it in his pants. While this generally wouldn’t be a big deal, Thane manages to mess with one of Zeus’s women without the God’s permission.
Amara Hope is more than meets the eye. She’s a good girl. A protector. The one who watches out for her brother even when he doesn’t want it. She’s also an Eternal, a woman with an immortal soul but not in body.
Writing the first book in the series was fun and pretty overwhelming at first. It would set the tone for the rest of the series. I had to answer things like…how will the Gods interact with the Mystics on the earthy realm? Would they be hands on or hands off? Did I want all of the couples to be in one city? Will all of the couples be Mystic falling for Mystic?
There was so much more that went into it and I think its still growing with each book. The world is getting bigger and, in my opinion, better.

WIP Wednesday: Adrian
SERIES: Mystic Zodiac
BOOK: 8
Adrian Trent leaned against the wall of Cherry Ink and watched the Midnighters stroll their way down M Street. A few tumbled out of Birreria Paradiso, the pizzeria joint across from the shop, closing it down for the night, their loud bawdy laughter filling the air. Some dashed down the street to Clyde’s to continue the Friday night drinking with only an hour until closing. Out of the masses taking the midnight walk, two women stopped in front of the shop, they glanced at him quickly then giggled before going inside.

Mystic Zodiac: Eros & Chloe
Rolling out a new Monday feature called Mystic Monday. Now that’s we’re half-way through, we’ll be taking a look back at the series from the beginning.
I thought I’d start off with the two Gods who start off this adventure: Eros and Chloe.
Eros, the God of Love, is a handsome devil and he knows it. He likes to play around and the ladies of Olympus are more than willing to let him.
Chloe aka Clotho is the Fate of birth. She and her two sisters, Lachesis (Lacy) and Atropos (Rose), have a high standing on Olympus. They are the creators of birth, length, and death. They are the ones who determine everyone’s fate being it God, Mystic, or human. The only one who may, or may not, fall under their purview is Zeus.
When Eros rejects Chloe is a lover she is incensed. One angry confrontation leads to the bet of a lifetime. A bet that will change the course of 24 peoples lives.
Eros and Chloe will be getting their story after the series is done. I couldn’t leave you guys hanging’ now could I?

Pimpin’ Cover Reveal: TL Reeve
MIAMI HEAT

Blurb:
A trip to Miami for a blind date—what could go wrong?
Violet Wilson is a book lover at heart. As a librarian she loves her job and quite frankly no one else, from her prospective, could do it better. The only downside for being such a voracious reader, she has a high expectation of men.
Violet needs to let her hair down, embrace life and have fun—something her best friend Kate is willing to help her with. After an afternoon lunch with her best friend, she is handed a plane ticket and a hotel reservation to Miami. However, there is a catch…her date.
Roman Carpino isn’t looking for love. He has his tattoo parlor, his friends and several different women whenever he needs or wants a companion. To him, his life is golden. But, given the chance to take a vacation on his friend’s dime, he relents. What he isn’t expecting however, is his date, Violet.
With a weekend to spend together, will they find what each desires most–or will a friendly gesture damage two lives forever?
Excerpt:
“Roman.” She sighed. “You did this on purpose?”
He grinned. “What?”
“You purposely dressed like a god so I would drool all over you.” She swallowed hard, and her gaze caressed his arms and chest. Fuck, he’d never get used to or tired of the way she stared at him.
“I had to prove my statement last night. You love looking at me, and what better way for you to do it than while on a date with me?” He shrugged.
“I’ll be staring at you all day, that’s for sure.” She glanced at his arms and narrowed her eyes. “Are those old-school Universal Studios monster tattoos?” She blushed. “I mean, they’re cool and all. My parents really loved old black-and-white monster flicks. I, however, enjoyed reading about monsters. You know, Universal really bastardized Frankenstein. I’m sure Mary Shelley was rolling over in her grave.”
“Unless she figured out a way to be regenerated.”
Violet rolled her eyes, and he smiled. Actually he was impressed she knew his ink, even if her cover was weak. He loved old black-and-white horror movies. Bela Lugosi was his favorite actor. The range it took to go from Dracula to The Wolfman was insane. So, he’d gone into his shop and showed his buddy what he wanted done. He’d kept it all black-and-white with some shadowing. In the foreground of the work of art sat a mini graveyard with the moon shining high above, casting a silvery glow over the cemetery. Then, behind tombstones, the different characters were added in. The only color on the whole tattoo, which went from his shoulder to his wrist, was in Dracula’s cape. The completed process had taken three sittings and over ten hours. “Yeah. Do you like it?”
“Duh.” She grinned. “From far away I never knew what it was. I mean, I always saw the red strip in it but never got up the nerve to ask. What’s on your other arm?”
“Jason and the Argonauts.”
“Seriously?” She grabbed his hand, and a zing of electricity shot up his arm. Her soft gasp let him know she felt it too. “Sorry. I shouldn’t just grab at you.”
“Don’t worry about it.” He walked into her room and closed the door behind him. “Okay, now take your fill of the tattoos.”
Violet did just that. Her fingertips traced each line, each detail as though she was engraving them into her memory. She glanced up at him. Awe and desire glittered in her violet gaze. “You are a mysterious man,” she whispered.
