New Release: The Cupcake Cowboy
My super good friend Lissa Matthews had a new release this past Friday. Did you check it out? Pick it up? NO! Why not. There’s a cowboy who’s damn good at making cupcakes. Think of all of the delicious sticky things you two could get into.

Dear Readers,
My name is Jackson and I am The Cupcake Cowboy. I own and operate a cupcake truck in downtown San Antonio, Texas.
Born and raised on a cattle ranch a few miles outside San Antonio, I can rope, tie, ride, drive, and wrangle with the best of ‘em. It’s what my father does and what his father did before him. It’s what I was supposed to do too, only… I didn’t want it.
One thing you should know up front, is that I’m more stubborn than a mule and when I get something in my head, I don’t let go until I get it done.
You see, when I realized my little sister had a way off the ranch by way of making people happy with our grandma’s sticky buns, well, I figured I could learn a thing or two about food myself. I liked eating and I knew my way around cooking meals so, how hard could baking be?
I soon found out.
I wasn’t cut out for sticky buns. In fact, I was a downright disaster at it. Sam suggested I go to culinary school, see what I might be good at. Turns out it was cakes and cupcakes.
Culinary school is also where I met Cass. She taught a few of my pastry classes and honestly, I wouldn’t have cared what she taught so long as I got to be around her. I was head over heels the second she smiled. Her enthusiasm was a sight to behold and it drew me in like a moth to a flame.
You’ll like her. Cass is a good woman, smart as a whip, knows what she’s talking about, and I didn’t want to listen. Remember? More stubborn than a mule… She deserves a second chance, in more ways than one.
That’s where this book begins. So, take a load off and grab a cool drink. You’re gonna need it.

WIP Wednesday
A little bit from the holiday story I’m working on at the moment. This will be a short story featuring characters in the Tiger Nip series that I haven’t planned a full length story for.
Surely Bodie or Soren would come over since they were next door at the gym and help her out if she was dealing with a lovesick man. She had enough dealings with that type of guy to know she was not equipped to handle it. They got all needy and weepy. And honestly, seeing a grown man cry made her nervous as hell.

Kacie tossed her head back and laughed. “Yeah, well I can always drop him off at the shelter just in case. No, you’re right. I wouldn’t do that. But if I don’t show up at work Monday you’ll at least know who did it when you come looking for me and find my dead body.”

Sampson Hart was in deep shit. He glanced over at MJ standing across the makeshift aisle from him. Damn she looked gorgeous. Her blond hair was in a fancy, twisty up-do, making her pale white skin brighter and crystal blue eyes clearer. She even put a matching blue gem in her nose piercing. The small stud glimmering when a shaft of light hit it.
The red silk of her sleeveless, short formal dress molded to her breasts and waist before flaring out at her luscious hips. If that weren’t enough to give him a raging hard-on, those killer red fuck-me heels would do the trick. What he wouldn’t give to stride over to her and claim her like his Tiger demanded. Let every person at the wedding know she was spoken for.
But he couldn’t, no matter how much of a fuss the beast within made. And wasn’t that the biggest hit to his oversexed ‘I-can-get-any-woman’ mentality. MJ, or Mary Jane as he liked to call her at times, mostly when he was talking to or about her when she was near, was his sister’s dearest and best friend. Right now, at this moment in time, they were standing steps from each other in front of a small crowd waiting for his sister Corrine to walk down the aisle. He was fairly certain his twin would skin him alive if he ruined the happiest day of her life by pouncing on the woman he so desperately wanted.

Claiming More pricing
The time for Claiming More to be released is upon us! I hope you’re as excited about it as I am. I have already hit the publish button and am just waiting for it to go live. Amazon says it takes around 12 hours for the US market and up to 48 for foreign markets. I wanted to make sure it was loaded and for sale on the designated released date which is Oct 8.
While we wait for it to show up on Amazon I wanted to give you a little info. Claiming More was originally slated to be between 40,000 – 46,000 words. That word range would keep the book the same length as Craving More and around the same price, $2.99
What I ended up with was a book that is 58,100 words. 12,000 words more than the first book. I went more in depth with the Tiger background and characters. I’m trying to learn from the comments and critiques of Craving More. So Claiming More will be $3.99
I felt I needed to raise the price since the word count went up and not by just a little bit. I know your money is precious and you pick wisely where you want to spend it. I’m hoping you will think Claiming More is worth the extra dollar.
Future books will be kept in the 55,000 – 60,000 words range and stay at the $3.99 price range.

I was looking at my blog posts and it seems it has been a while. Since I just finished up Claiming More and it is in the hands of the editor finally I’ll give you another snippet.
“Actually, I need to get back to my place. I, uh, sorta left some unfinished business there. I only wanted to make sure MJ found you and introduce the two of you.” Jessie hugged MJ. “Call me later if you need to talk some more.”
“Something unfinished, huh? Would that something have anything to do with the man I heard on the phone this morning?”
A pink blush bloomed across Jessie’s sun-kissed cheeks. “Behave, woman!”
“I always behave and maybe that’s been the problem.”
Jessie laughed. “You’re in good hands. Carolline will be able to get you to see the light.”
“Thanks,” MJ chuckled, slipping into a chair. “Have fun with your business. I hope sorting it out doesn’t take too long. Or maybe that’s what you would like.” She crossed her legs and folded her hands on her lap as she looked around the office. The innocent look on her face didn’t fool Carolline.
