Two hulking men had emerged from the cropping of trees near the children. They surreptitiously looked around, raising the hackles on the back of her neck. Those men were up to no good.
Carolline scanned the area looking for an adult. Someone…anyone who should have been watching out for the children but she didn’t see anyone.

Monday Memory
Do you remember when CAUGHT IN THE MOMENT first came out? It had a darker cover featuring a couple in an embrace.
Does that job your memory? I loved the cover but felt it needed something to be slightly lighter. Which led to this….
Same couple. Lighter, brighter look with a guy in the corner.
Yet again I really liked the cover. (You would hope I would since I’m the one who made them.) Then it came time to figure out the cover of book 2, FLY GUY NEXT DOOR. I wasn’t feeling it when I tried to reflect skydiving in the cover somehow. Seriously how many times can you use a guy jumping out of an airplane. There are really cool images out there to use but eh…it still didn’t work. I found an image of a woman lounging on a bed. The gold tones were fantastic and I loved the entire layout of the image and knew right there it would be my cover. (I’ll show that cover to you next time.)
So I went back to CAUGHT and decided to redo it (hopefully for the last time, but you never know with me) and this is what is up now.
LOVE IT!!!!!!

Turning The Pages Book Signing and Awards

The Book Signing and Awards Ceremony will be held at:
The Florida Hotel and Conference Center
1500 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32809
Turning The Pages Book of The Year Awards Ceremony will follow an open to the public book signing event.
The book signing will be from 10 am until 3 pm. This will include a break between 12-1 for lunch. The book signing is open to the public and all are welcome to come see, meet, greet, and get autographs from the authors. Readers do have the option to buy a lunch ticket ($50). Otherwise lunch is for attending authors only.
The Book Of The Year Awards Ceremony is a ticket only event that will start at 7 pm. You must have bought a ticket to get into the ceremony. Dinner will be provided. Also winners of The Book Of The Year event will be awarded with certificates and medals.
