Love with a Dash of Revenge

ID-100133029If love makes the world go round, surely revenge would make it stop in its axis?

Both are powerful emotions—though love is a positive force and revenge its complete antithesis. And like every negative force revenge can provide huge motivation. Especially when you are a victim of injustice. After all, none other than William Shakespeare wrote in The Merchant of Venice, “…if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?” Read my guest post for Mills & Boon here…

The Making of an Accidental Author

Adite- Orange Cover - small Here’s a blog post that I wrote for RomanceUniversity.org

Accidents happen and I simply love them. Wait a minute. Before you decide I’m some kind of adrenaline junkie who jumps in front of speeding trains to get her daily risk fix, stop right there. I don’t mean the nasty, depressing, life-changing kind of accidents but the happy, inspiring, life-changing ones.

One such accident happened to me eighteen months ago when I found my name listed as one of three winners of the Harlequin Mills & Boon...

How to Get Your Book Published

ID-10062484Planning to write a book but wondering how to get your book published? An Indian author shares her strategies for finding a publisher.

Adite- Orange Cover - smallRubina Ramesh gives The Indian Tycoon’s Marriage Deal 5 stars!

“Being a Mills and Boon story, I was sure of the happy ending. But as a reader I was pleasantly surprised that instead of emotions cooling down by the end of the tenth chapter, new twists and turns kept me glued to the story.”

And… “(Adite’s) words have a way of playing the scene in front of the reader. Her play with words has the capability to evoke your senses.”

Excerpt #1 from my new book

Adite- Orange Cover - small All Maya wanted was revenge until she found desire! Excerpt:

She scanned the Ballroom looking for her quarry and couldn’t help notice that the choice of floral decoration was the exquisite lavender rose. A sharp pang twisted through her, reminding her of Papa, who had perfected the art of growing these beautiful, exotic flowers. She reached out to touch a delicate petal. The presence of Papa’s special flower was like a good omen; as if he was watching over her. She felt lucky tonight.

“Beautifu...

An Alpha Indian Tycoon, Anyone?

Adite- Orange Cover - small

USA Today best-selling author Nicola Marsh, who has published 40 books and sold over 4 million copies worldwide, has hosted a guest post by me on her blog. Thanks, Nicola, for the honour and privilege!

Tall, dark, handsome billionaires, sexy, spirited heroines and spectacular settings are stuff that romantic fantasies are made of. There is an Alpha hero for every romance reader – the hunky cowboy, the suave tycoon, the sheikh with the six-pack abs and even the hot-as-hell vampire. It’s little...
