We’re in a storm right now, locally, and globally. We’re in the middle of it, not knowing the difference between fear and fact, hysteria or honest and necessary caution. In the thick of this beast, and the trickle down is staining so many different aspects of life. I believe we will come through it, that there’s a rainbow waiting on the other side, we just have to be compassionate and caring and socially responsible to get there. Even if you’re low risk, even if you’re not afraid, exercise caution, protect those that are of higher risk, protect those that cannot protect themselves as well. We are all in this storm together, just remember the skies will clear again. I promise.

I am connected, and I feel this.
Before the lightning found me,
before I, for some brief moment
was tied to earth and sky,
illuminated white hot and trembling,
I knew.  

Feathering off every living thing
are billions of strings,
tendrils seeking bond,
some form of symbiosis
where what they know I should,
what I have they need,
and I feel this.

We can send out peace,
pulse it from ourselves like wave
to shore, send it freely
and without pause for permission,
lean into those we share
this place with
and gift to them
appreciation.  

We are connected, and I feel this.

After our wedding adventure, we knew we needed to do something...

After our wedding adventure, we knew we needed to do something amazing to remember it, something that felt as special as the trip and wedding itself. We were so lucky when the amazing @framebridge reached out and asked if we’d be up for a gallery wall consultation, a chance for their experts to design a wall with our photographs, our artwork, and our special pieces that made our day what it was. We’ve never done ANYTHING like this, and so we literally had no idea what to expect, but this was the end result, and the journey there was just as much fun. After a questionnaire, they took all our art and photographs and made this layout, then framed all our pieces with gorgeous frames, and gave us the full layout and hanging guide to make it easy.

Bottom line, we’re beyond psyched with how it turned out, and looking at this wall every single day transports me back to that day, to that emotion. We grow boring
in love,
insufferable
in our joy, the
contentedness
of our hearts.
Intolerable lot,
those madly swimming
in the currents
of adoration,
but they do not
tell us this.

Slowly we forget
the suffering
we endured, we
are lost in the
rosy haze
of infatuation
and all that
follows it.
