Death is dreaming, he said,
only the good memories
on a loop
for eternity.
When you die, you dream,
and this is a good thing,
this is all
ok.

Wisdom before it should
have arrived,
a blueprint on a life well lived
from one who has barely
lived it.

We’re here to film our story,
fill it with color, with light,
sound, and adventure,
we’re here to make
memories,
so when the rest comes
that we have earned,
we get to watch them all
again.
