Ireland: Ashford Castle
On to the reason we were over in Ireland last September/early October, a three-night stay at Ashford Castle. And not just a random stay, we were there for a wedding! (We spent three nights at the castle, then had our final night at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis.)

Ireland: Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey
Back to Ireland and our trip last September/early October to the west coast of Ireland. Two things it's worth doing together if you're over this way is hiking in the Connemara National Park and then heading to nearby Kylemore Abbey, both in County Galway and part of the famous Wild Atlantic Way route.

Ireland: Cliffs of Moher and Poulnabrone Dolmen
If you're exploring the West coast of Ireland or driving the "Wild Atlantic Way", everyone will tell you to go to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most beautiful places. This was our first stop after we landed in Shannon on our trip to Ireland last September. (Yes, it's taken me a while!)

TMTW: July and August 2022
What happened:
It's been a busy few months! July started with a trip to Wimbledon on day six of the tournament where we got to see the matches on No. 1 Court. It was our first time there and whilst it was fun to experience, apart from the endless queues, it's not something I'd do every year. Good to tick off the list though!

Tower of London Superbloom
I wasn't going to blog separately about the Superbloom at the Tower of London as it ends on 18 September, which doesn't really give anyone much opportunity to see it, but in light of the death of Her Majesty The Queen, I wanted to share my visit.

What happened:
June started with a long weekend because it was the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - woohoo! Didn't go to our street party, but did have some yum dinners out, went to the cinema, and saw Moulin Rouge on the West End. Which was awesome. So, so awesome.

What happened:
Hosted a family roast at home (I love our house!), went to the cinema for the first time in ages, had a work night out at Flight Club, hosted a BBQ for friends (again, I love our house!) and saw Cinderella at the theatre (so, so bad).

TMTW: March and April 2022
What happened:
In March we headed to the theatre to see Back to the Future (good fun, but doesn't make my top 10), continued to get the house sorted, I had a work trip to Leeds, we had our first guest stay over, plus we also saw Come From Away at the theatre (excellent; recommend seeing it).

What happened:
The big move! Lots of packing, then the move itself, then unpacking and furniture building. We're nowhere near finished but I'm so happy we're finally in our very first home. I'll miss Wandsworth but I'm so excited to get to know our new area and to get to do exactly what we want with our house.
