The poster at the bus stop for the Business Killer show says “HE’S BACK”.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if, after the intro of his show, Culverton Smith would look into the camera, smile devilishly, and say, “Did you miss me?”

It would be funny if they did one of those cliffhanger resolutions like between TGG and ASiB.  Where it’s like you spend two years wondering what is going to happen with the explosion at the pool, and then it’s just ‘stayin’ alive’ ring tone and Moriarty walking away.

Like they leave the tarmac, in SS4 Ep1, and the ‘Did you miss me?’ me thing is on the screen in the car, and then it stutters and fades out and it’s Culverton Smith, and he’s all like, “Did you miss me?”.  And then the screen’s all like, “He’s Back!  The Business Killer.  Monday nights on ITV!”  And the whole thing was a totally sick ad campaign for his new show, and he was just capitalising on a nationally known criminal and killer to promote it.

That’s a fun idea, actually.

Sounds like a thing the writers would do. Love it.

But as we only get the video clip about culverton smith somewhere in ep 2, I’m afraid, they might have missed this chance. (Unless the tease it in ep 1, that’s CS who is back and nit Moriarty, but don’t say what for)

Yup. Also, I hope they have something a little meatier than that in mind for Moriarty! Esp after the whole point of TAB was for Sherlock to figure out the whole Dread Pirate Roberts/the name lives on thing.

Is that Nick Hurran above (second to last photo)? If so, they are possibly picking up scenes from E2 as well, which might explain Martin’s change of clothes (and also, no wedding ring!).
