Sunny problems

Hey there, oh dear reader! It's windy where I live. In the afternoons, I can barely stand upright when I go for my walk and have to cover my head with my hood, holding it at the neck to keep the wind out. It is lovely and sunny though, so inside it is very nice.

Star says hi

Good day gangsters! I often get asked where I get my ideas from. And I always answer, “real life.” A couple of examples:

I had to take Star to the vet on Saturday. Phew. It was a two-person military operation. We got her some medicine to put in her food and when we got home, we all took the rest of the day off.

Yummy Surprises

Hey there! The recipes in the back of the Annabelle books remind me of growing up in England and I thoroughly enjoyed testing them (and trying them out!) I hope you enjoy them, too.

In particular, Teresa’s Surprise Cake from Death at the Café is quite easy to make, but is so impressive and tastes out of this world. I can promise you that with total confidence!
