📚 Some pretty pictures 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,I have returned from a very wet, chilly, and windy UK. In the two months, I got a lot done, much of which involved managing manly men and their trucks and tools, dirt, and physical exercise. If nothing else it kept me warm in the cold.

I also got to catch up with old friends, have some lovely meals, and visit a few places I'd never been before – even in my home town!

Hello!I'm heading into the last couple of weeks of my UK trip. It has been lovely to be here: I've visited with friends and family, had a lot of quiet time to read and work, and almost my favorite thing of all, I've been dealing with quite a number of manly men and their trucks and tools as I clean out parts of my childhood home and attend to some renovations. I feel I may have missed my calling!

📚 Nearly done 📚

Hey there, lovely reader,I'm sitting outside in the sun writing this. We're having our annual carpet cleaning and I'm staying out of the way. I always say that getting the carpets done is as much work as moving house. I exaggerate, but it's a lot of work to move all the furniture, pile it high, and then move it back again. Phew!I'm taking today off. Maybe tomorrow too. I'm nearly done with the new Inspector Graham and it should go to the editor next week with an October/November publish date....
