Decades after being banished from Heaven for saving a life he shouldn't have, Lash is given a chance to redeem himself. His mission: protect Naomi Duran, a young woman who has lost her faith. The assignment proves to be anything but simple when his superiors, the Archangels, withhold key information about Naomi and refuse to restore Lash's powers. When an unexpected source reveals centuries-old secrets, his trust is shaken to the core, and he begins to doubt those whom he had once considered to be his greatest allies. Determined to avoid anything that would risk his chances of returning to Heaven, Lash struggles with the greatest obstacle of all--his growing feelings for Naomi. But when her life is threatened by an unknown source, Lash questions the wisdom of the Archangels and his ability to keep her safe.
Soon, Lash will have to choose where to place his faith--in the home he has fought so hard to regain or in the forbidden love he can't bear to lose.

Early Morning Monday
It's much too early to be up on a Monday morning, but I can't help myself! It's going to be an exciting week in my world!
But... I do have some not so hot news... Mall Rats, the third installment of the BFFs series, has not gone up on iTunes yet, because of a formatting issue. I've tried to fix it about a hundred times, but it's still having trouble, so I will be working on that this week, as well as trying to get the fourth installment, Terms of Endearment ready, as well. Hopefully, things go as planned and both novellas are ready by next week. My apologies for the delay, but I am working on the problem!
In other news, my husband just moved down to Atlanta with me, so he's job hunting this week while I work. We are both excited to be here and can't wait for what this city has in store for us!

New Adult Author Kristie Cook
When Life Falls to Pieces, Answers Lie in the Space Between. Leni Drago can't make a smart decision on her own, according to her mother anyway--the few times she's tried resulted in disaster. When her uncle sends her on a dance tour in Italy to find her real self, she returns to an empty home and any evidence of his existence wiped out. Then things get even stranger, like the mysterious appearances of Jeric Winters--inked, pierced and a hit-'em-and-quit-'em type. He's one decision that should be easy for Leni. Or is he?
Jeric doesn't do girlfriends. Unless they're someone else's. He left the fighting cage and modeling for a reason, and girls who want more than a night of fun are distractions he doesn't need. Especially when they come with as much baggage as Leni carries. But he can't shake the gut feeling that he needs to know her. All of her.
To discover the truth behind their connection and their ties to a journal from 1989, they must face painful secrets from their pasts. And they must do so quickly because their own existences are falling to pieces.
This first part of The Book of Phoenix takes you on a heart-wrenching ride as you discover the answers that lie in The Space Between.

Mid-Week Updates
I am the worst blogger. At least, when it comes to talking about myself, I am. I will pimp someone else's book all day long. But my own stuff? Eh...
That being said, I am going to give you all a little insight into my life!
1. BFFs. This series is so complex. With 8 main characters, I'm overwhelmed by the sheer depth I have to give each one and then interconnecting them is hard! Fun, but hard. So please be patient as you await the release of each new book! Mall Rats, the third novella, is currently live on Amazon - it's only $0.99 and the first novella is FREE, so you can grab them now, or wait until I do a set (After 8 episodes are released).
The entire series was originally planned for 24 episodes, once per week. But they are taking more time then planned, so I am going to drop them to 16 episodes, released every other week! The fourth novella, Terms of Endearment, will be released on October 22!
2. The Broken Series! Books 1 & 2 are out and I get messages almost daily about book #3! Broken Pieces is the final book in this series, and it's harder for me to write. Letting go of these amazing characters is so hard! But so far, things are progressing nicely, and I am hoping for an early December release! It will be about Gabby and Wolfe, my two favorite characters of the series, and it will answer MOST of your questions. What happens with Baker & Rainey is revealed, and I fear you all may hate that part, but it's necessary in order to move forward.
3. A BIG MOVE! Some of you may have noticed that I am no longer in Maine. I am currently a resident of a small city outside of Atlanta, Georgia! It's exciting and scary and so much fun! I moved down a few weeks ago and my hubby is coming down this weekend, so my life will be much more complete!
4. Generation New Adult - Many of you might have been expecting a September issue, but based on available time and personnel changeovers, we've had to adjust. Our second issue will be available in December (December is a big month for me), so keep your eyes open for it!
5. Events - I've had to pull out of a few events due to my move and financial obligations, but I am happy to say that I will be at Houston Book Rave next month and at the New Adult Sleepover Weekend in December! For more details, you can check out my Events tab or go to those sites directly!
Alright, I've taken up enough of your time! If you loved (or hated) any of my books, I al

A few updates...
I just wanted to let you all in on some news for the BFF series...
First, I am going to be releasing them every two weeks instead of weekly (it's just soo hard to do once a week)!
Second, if you've read Liar, Liar, and you HATE Hazel.... That's how you're supposed to feel! I wrote her as character people don't want to have a happy ending. She's the Blair Waldorf of my series, one that everyone loves to hate. It is my sincere hope that if you didn't like her, you continue on in the series, because I can promise that you will love some of the other characters. So please read on!
That's all for now!
