Guidelines: For our first anthology we’re looking to feature some furry fiction with BDSM. Stories include other kinks such as, but not limited to: feminization, orgasm control/denial, humiliation, objectification, pony/puppy play, hypnosis, strict/heavy bondage, foot play, latex, some pain (nothing extreme, candle wax and whipping are cool. Ripping your partners eyes out with your fingers, not cool ), and much more. This anthology is also looking for more than the typical M/F bondage story. Give us some variety. That’s what we like, a healthy diverse sex fest! Email us if you’re unsure about your idea.
Although we’re pretty accepting of what we’ll take there are things we just don’t do, such as: Non-Consent (Rape, Forced, Strong Coercion), Characters under the age of 18, copyrighted characters (don’t send us Mickey Mouse, that ain’t cool, yo), bestiality, and heavy bathroom play (you may be able to get away with watersports, but the rest is out). There may be other things, if you’re unsure just shoot us an email with your idea and we’ll let you know if it’ll fly or not (please note that this doesn’t mean an actual acceptance, it simply means it can be reviewed by the selection committee).
Characters must but anthropomorphic or furry. Humans are allowed, but there does need to be an anthro character. This is a furry anthology, keep that in mind when submitting.
Reprints are accepted, however, original stories are preferred. Reprints will still be reviewed.
Rights: Non-exclusive printing and publishing rights in perpetuity.
Payment: ½ cent per word + a free copy of the anthology
Simultaneous submissions are accepted. It is YOUR responsibility to inform us if your story has been accepted elsewhere.

Red Ferret Press is happy to have Z.M. Wise’s latest chapbook is our first release. Step inside the brutality that life has to offer in this poetry chapbook. Cuentos de Amor is a story captivating readers with each line of love, loss, addiction. There are dark spots inside all of us, spots of forbidden addictions and desires that we try to keep hidden, but are unable to. Z.M. Wise explores it all in his latest chapbook. Cuentos de Amor is set to be released on the first of July, and readings are a possibility pending open schedules and availability of venues.
Mr. Wise is an outstanding member of the poetry community. He is the co-owner of Transcendent Zero Press and works as an editor for Weasel Press. Wise has had three full collections published prior to his upcoming release and has been featured in several booming anthologies and online zines. You can catch more of his work on Twitter, Tumblr, and Weasel Press.

We’re a press, and our focus is sex. We love it, want it, need it, etc! Red Ferret Press will soon start seeking submissions that really explore the erotica world. We’ll be looking for authors that aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take their work as far as they can. We’re not the supermarket romance novels you see, we’re real people exploring real sexual situations and desires. Our goal is to make erotica cool in the literature world; to burn the stigma of over sexualized paranormal romance. We would also like to bring this feel to smaller niche markets.
Red Ferret Press is an extension of Weasel Press. We are owned and operated by the same person, Weasel. RFD will look for several kinks and topics regarding the erotica world. We plan to be open minded about your specific kink or perversion, everyone likes something, and we’re not pretentious enough to judge. All work will be looked at based on how well your work is written. We have a pretty high standard and expect to maintain it. Keep it real, keep it well written, and keep it within out guidelines.
As we progress, we’ll start calling for submissions. We’ll probably throw out an anthology or two just to have some samples. Red Ferret Press will update through it’s own social media once it has been created. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!

The Hell Inside Us is a story wrapped up in poetry. It’s a story focusing on crippling financial breakdowns and failed romances, mental stress from bullying and the rough spots that life has to offer.
I’m very happy to have this book out on Earl of Plaid and I look forward to doing another with them (if they’re interested).

Synopsis: Leaving Normal: Adventures in Gender is creative nonfiction that takes an unflinching but humorous look at living as a butch in a pink/blue, boy-girl, M/F world. Here’s my theory: I’ve always been a butch. When I was a child, it was called being a “tomboy” (also known as “embarrassing my mother”). Back then, I liked to think I was a boy-girl hybrid, perhaps grown from special heirloom seeds. Later in life, I came out as a lesbian, which explained my fondness for flannel and sensible shoes, as well as my masculine ways.
Still, something wasn’t quite right. I watched spectator-like as my hair got shorter and my clothes started coming from the opposite side of the department store. When someone called me “sir” for the first time, I realized I had unintentionally crossed over into foreign territory – that sliver of space that exists in the middle place between the absolutes of boy and girl.
Leaving Normal: Adventures in Gender is for anyone who has ever felt different, especially those who have found themselves living in the gender margins without a rule book. The topic of gender nonconformity is red hot right now as it was recently dubbed “the next civil rights frontier” by Time magazine.
