There are times when I find America Chavez art that reminds of...

There are times when I find America Chavez art that reminds of myself even more than the official art, and then I lose my mind for a while. 

ONE: my muscle pony legs are constantly covered in bruises and cuts and maybe a band aid

TWO: the hair half up/half down is the eventual compromise I come to every few days, because my hair is curlythickhuge and kills hairties when I try to keep it in a ponytail.

THREE: I owe that sweater. 

actually, I own that entire outfit and I wear my light denim shots with showy pockets basically every day of the summer that I’m not wearing black yoga shorts. I am convinced that America’s default official outfit involves black yoga shorts, because homegirl high kicks in those things all day long.

Yeah, so, remember when I was prattling on about amazon rank and whatever yesterday? And I was excited about maybe getting to break 10 K?

We broke 10 K!

City Wolf's Amazon ranking is currently at #10,717. If just a few more people buy books soon, I get to break top 10 K and feel like a badass.

I know the technical details of this kind of thing are pretty dull for most people (I mean, duh, you're here to read books, not listen to someone prattle on about search engines), but amazon weighs your first few days of ranking pretty heavily and it impacts your ranking later on, etc. And it's not that ranking is an ego thing (I mean, Winter Wolf hits #1 or #2 on the gay free list when I do promos, usually), but that ranking high puts you up higher in the search results, which means that MORE PEOPLE GET TO SEE YOUR BOOK, which means that more people might buy your book, but also, I mean, for real, more people see your book and that's just cool.

So the point is--buy yourself a copy! Buy your friend a copy! Buy your mom a copy? No, probably not your mom. Sex happens.

PS: I can't believe I almost forgot! Winter Wolf is free today, too, so that getting into the series is easier. :)

Do you ever plan to put City Wolf somewhere besides Amazon? I know you need to keep it there exclusively for a while but I don't have a Kindle so thought I'd check to see if there's anywhere I could eventually get it.

I’m going to put both books (and the eventual third) on Smashwords. I meant to do that for Winter Wolf forever ago, but I wanted to edit it first and there was a fiasco with that editor, so I never did it. But yes! It’ll be on Smashwords in about three months. I’ll give a specific date closer to then.
