Cover Reveal *mature eyes only*

Title: Sexed Into SubmissionAuthor: Julie BailesCover Design: MGBookcoversRelease Date:  August 14, 2014

Synopsis:
***Contains BDSM material. Intended for mature audience only. NOT for the easily offended.***

The daughter of a house wife whore, and a screw-all-his-clients attorney, I learned early on that trust can’t be given and love doesn’t truly exist. Sure, maybe it exists in fairytales, but this is real life and it’s ugly. Love, lust, anger, and joy, emotions, in general, are for the weak and I don’t do them.

I’m a hell-on-heels heartbreaker who can’t be tamed, or so I thought. This dominating, possessive, and sinfully sexy piece of man storms into my life and his only mission is to break me down like a house of cards caught in the middle of a windstorm. Ryder is shaking my world, flipping it upside down, and stirring my emotions like a hurricane. I’m feeling things I’ve never felt before and doing things I normally don’t do. His touch, his presence, they leave me drunk on sin and thirsty for more.

This man, Ryder, he’s the type of man who once you’ve met, there’s no forgetting him. He’s the antidote that gets me by. We have a fatal attraction, and nothing good can come from it. All good things must come to an end, and it’s only a matter of time before we discover if what we’re sharing is a blessing or curse.

About the Author: Julie resides in a small town in southern West Virginia with her high school sweetheart, and their three rowdy children. She has a passion for writing and helping others meet their maximum potential. With an unhealthy addiction to coffee and all things chocolate, she has developed a love for fitness. Even though she has city in her blood, Julie enjoys mudding, four wheeling, and hunting with her husband. On days she isn’t busy playing chauffeur or writing, you will most likely find her cuddled into her husband’s side reading a naughty book.

It's not exactly a secret...

It's not exactly a secret that I suck at this whole blogging thing. But I bet that my readers would rather me spend time writing stories than random blog posts anyway so I guess I don't feel THAT bad. ;)
As it is, I figured I'd pop on over here and just give a little update about what my writing "schedule" looks like for the rest of the year and into 2015 (is it blowing anyone else's mind that 2015 is right around the corner?). I use the term "schedule" very loosely because I don't necessarily have a strict one. It's more of a guideline really. :)

Currently I'm writing Sea Swept . I'm pretty sure Riptide (the short story prequel) is finished (just waiting on first round edits for that one). I'm about 10K away from my typical "First Draft Word Count Goal" and only halfway through writing the actual STORY. So I think it's safe to say that Sea Swept will be longer than Lark . I'm weirdly excited about that.
Next on my agenda though are as follows:

Forget Me Not --I keep putting this one off and I don't know why because it's half way through and I really love this story. I think it's so different from what I've previously written that's it more challenging for me to write and I want to do it justice hence my slow progress on it. My main goal for 2015 will be to finish that story. This will be a YA contemporary romance. The storyline came to me while I was working with foster kids. I was fascinated by how different every foster family is and how that affects the kids in their care.

Nightingale --If you follow my author page on Facebook I'm sure you've seen some casual mentions of this project. This will be a Lark spin-off and will feature Grey, Adele and Klaus. Originally I wanted to write it from entirely Grey's POV but now I'm wondering if I should include Adele's. This is still in the very early stages. I know what the main storyline will be, but I haven't decided whether this will be a stand alone or if it might turn into its own trilogy.

After that, I have two contemporary romances brewing in the back of my mind and it always seems like whenever I finish one story, another one pops in my head (which is GOOD) so I don't have any doubt that there will be many more down the line. :)

So here is the rundown for 2014-2015:

1. Sea Swept
2. Riptide
3. Forget Me Not
4. Nightingale
(though honestly #3 and #4 might switch depending on my mood)

What are you most looking forward to reading from me in the future?

Gone Blog Tour

Tess Walters’ life is perfect. She has everything she’s ever wanted all wrapped up in her boyfriend Alec. But Alec has a different plan and one day, he’s gone.
Tess is devastated. She doesn’t remember how to be herself and she doesn’t want to. Her family believes she needs to move on and get over him. It’s easier said than done. Tess doesn’t know where to begin because everywhere she turns, she thinks of Alec. She doesn’t think this heartbreak will ever stop.
Eventually, Tess finds comfort in places she never realized she had. From there she discovers a person she never knew she could be

I love how Michelle always nails the teenage voice without making her characters overly angsty or make stupid mistakes. They seem so real that you feel like you know them.
Gone is a story I think everybody can relate to because I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought my high school sweetheart was THE ONE and ended up believing my life was over when the relationship ended. Luckily she discovers there is much more to life than thr boy who broke her heart and maybe just maybe there is something bigger and better out there for her.

You can find gone:

Like me, Michelle has her own list of book boyfriends and she was nice enough to share her personal collection. :)

Top 5 book boyfriends

1.      Dimitri – From the Vampire Academy Series – What is hotter than a built, tall, Russian who can kick ass? Oh one, that loves me, er, I mean Rose Hathaway with all his heart. And one that is self-sacrificing for the greater good. He’s really hot in my head.
2.      Luca – from Komal Kant’s With Me series – I’m in love with Luca. I wish he was my high school boyfriend. I have seriously reread the book six times, and when did it come out?
3.      Four – from Veronica Roth’s Divergent – OMG – Talk about schmexy. He’s tough, a bad ass, and sweet and gentle to Tris. He’s different and not in the divergent way.
4.      Kaiden – from Wendy Higgins’ Sweet Evil series- besides the fact that he and I have the same last name (married name is Rowe) I do believe we are destined. Classic bad boy reformed! I cannot wait for the third installment of this series just to see him again.
5.      Henry – from Amiee Cater The Goddess Test series – OK – by now you have it figured out that I love a bad boy with a soft side. Henry is literally Hades and the definition. At one point, I really think he broke my heart in the series. Book 2. Anyone else cry at that part. But I love him.

Michelle can be found in WNY with her family, where she teaches 8th grade English Language Arts. If she's not with her family, she can be found gardening, avoiding her planned workouts, and drinking coffee. You can find her at @mflick729 and https://www.facebook.com/mflick729. She would love to hear from you.

Spotlight: Laura Howard

Hello everybody! Today I'm spotlighting the author of The Danaan Trilogy. Laura Howard is known for her quirky random questions on Facebook. I've recently read The Forgotten Ones and I definitely think fans of my Lark Trilogy would enjoy this series as well. I have already downloaded Stone of Destiny and I can't wait to read it!

Stone of Destiny (The Danaan Trilogy Book 2)

by Laura Howard
Genre: New Adult Paranormal Romance

Blurb:

Allison thought it was crazy enough when she found out her father, Liam, wasn't entirely human. But now she has to join his magical allies to unravel his former mistress's plans. Aoife wants to keep Allison's parents apart forever.

Despite Allison's efforts to keep Ethan, the only guy she's ever cared about, out of this supernatural mess, fate keeps throwing him back into the mix.

Will Allison be able to find the amulet that holds the enchantment Aoife placed on Liam and destroy it? Are Ethan' s feelings for Allison strong enough to endure the magic of the Tuatha De Danaan?

About Laura:
Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known.

Cover Reveal: Sea Swept

Even though it will be early next year before I publish this so it's probably really early to reveal the cover, I am anyway! I'm a rebel like that!
No seriously, I have a good reason. :)
Since I'm naming the main character in Sea Swept after my daughter Addie, it seemed only fitting to reveal the cover and blurb on her birthday!

So Happy 7th Birthday Addie-cakes! Here's the cover to YOUR story:

Addie McKay has always had an intense fear of the water. For as long as she can remember, she has had terrifying nightmares of drowning so she's made it a habit to avoid the ocean at all costs —which made growing up with the Atlantic Ocean in her backyard rather difficult.
At fifteen years old, all of her friends spend their free time swimming in the cove behind her house, but Addie just can't make herself get that close to the sea. She prefers to stay dry on the sand where the risk of actually drowning is impossible.
She's never had a reason to step foot in the ocean until one night when she's forced to dive into the salty depths to save her friend. She forgets all about drowning when she makes a startling discovery below the surface—an enchanting mermaid kingdom straight out of a fairy tale.
When it appears she is somehow connected to this mystical realm, Addie has to find a way to balance her fear of returning to the water and the desire to know more about who she really is.         Unfortunately, she's about to learn of a hidden threat looming beneath the surface that makes her realize there is more to her lifelong fear of the water than she ever imagined possible—and that it may be the only thing keeping her from being swept away by the sea.

Sea Swept will be a stand alone novel BUT I'm currently writing a prequel to the story that will be included in an anthology with my fellow bloggers/authors from A Dash of YA. The prequel will be called Riptide and while it won't be necessary to read it before Sea Swept, it will just "add" to the experience.
Riptide will be a novella featuring one of the other characters from Sea Swept and it will cover events that took place years before the beginning of Sea Swept that set everything in motion.

I'd like to print some limited edition paperbacks of Riptide as well but as of right now, it will not be available separate from the anthology.

Now that I've finished Lark's journey, I'm super excited to be starting another adventure!

XOXO
