Whoops! I Already Posted About That!
The thing about doing a daily blog for a decade about random thoughts is that you start to repeat yourself. I just went to do a post and luckily realized ahead of time that I had already done it once before. Instead, I’ll get a meta post about it and reproduce my old post below:
Isn’t It Weird When The Intro Is More Interesting Than The Game?
Posted on March 15, 2018 by David S. Atkinson
Isn’t it weird when the intro is more interesting than the game? I had a Playstation II back in 2000 and somehow I ended up with a copy of Nightmare Creatures. I loved the intro, but I only even ended up playing the game so much. I’d usually watch the intro, and then run around killing things for a while. Then I’d get bored and shut it off.
Why? I loved the intro. Unfortunately, I think the most interesting character was the villain. I was much more captivated by what was going on with him. My character just hacked up some things. It felt like just another slash game. The intro was where all the coolest stuff was at, which would have made for a very different game.
Can’t fight what interests you and what doesn’t, I suppose.

The Spam Comments Are Getting Meta Again
Spam comment I’m about to delete:
Do you have a spam problem on this site; I also am a blogger, and I was wanting to know your situation; many of us have developed some nice practices and we are looking to trade strategies with other folks, why not shoot me an e-mail if interested.

It Worked!
It worked!
I knew it would work.
I’m drafting posts ahead of time and I posted a couple days ago how I had bought a series of ten large books that were all arriving individually across the space of a couple weeks from a single seller. I had started the series and was about half of the way through book two, and had not yet received only book four. I was hoping book four would end up arriving before I got done with book two and three. I knew that it would if I complained publicly, and book four just arrived. So, now I have them all.
I’m still only about 60% through book two.
