I read 99.9% of +Evo Terra's Brew Diet book on the plane. (See also http://brewdiet.com/ and thanks to Evo for the preview copy.)
It's a fun read of the first Beer and Sausage diet Evo did 3 years ago. After a great introduction by +Charlie Cavanaugh Toft, who introduced Evo to good beer, we join Evo's journey via a daily log of his moods, activities, foods, and, most importantly, the beers he drank. It was fun to reread the daily posts I originally read back then and relive Evo's journey.
Also included are blog posts from Evo's doctor Terry Simpson. The doctor's posts I hadn't read before and those we're great new content for me. The commentaries on diet and health interspersed between Evo's daily log elevates the book from just pleasant memories and a fun read to a tool to reflect and comment on diet, health, and the (sometimes lack of) science behind them. Or that just may be how I took it as someone who recently lost a fair amount of weight.
If you like good beer or are interested in unusual diets, or both, there is something in the book for you.

Most of my local craft beer enthusiasts spend their time on Facebook, but Google+ is where I spend most of my time, though I've been busy on the book and not posting here all that frequently. But that's OK. This GPC has always been rich and vibrant.

My Kindle Fire died on me mid-way through the layout edits to The Beer Diet. I'm looking for a few people to give it a read and (in theory) say nice things on Amazon when I publish the book (hopefully) later today.
I'll give you a pre-release copy if it sounds like something you'd like to read. Here's how to get it:
1) Comment here and tell me if you want .mobi (Kindle) or .epub (every other device).
2) Give me your email at http://brewdiet.com. That keeps the pesky spam-bots from harvesting your email from a public post.
And if there's something odd about the name you register with versus your G+ profile, you may want to tell me that here, too.
