Move over, Google Glass! This device captures a 5-second animated GIF when your brain shows high enough interest levels. That's right. It's an animated GIF creation machine that reads your mind!

What could possibly go wrong?

Is Wired on the Google+ bandwagon?

Maybe not, but +Mathew Honan certainly is. In the attached article, he points out Facebooks crappy photo sharing as the chink in the armor that both Twitter and +Google+ attacked today.

Professional photographers have always found a welcome home on Google+, though it remains to be seen how well they'll take to Twitter. But both do seem to be better established to handle bigger and more photos, which we're all taking today.

What's the spin for marketers? For starters, they'll need to pay more attention to the native photo sharing offerings of specific platforms and lose some reliance on post-once-share-everywhere systems.

Thanks, +Google+!

Nosferatu-brew, anyone?

I really like the work of Trevor Carmic. He takes beer labels and sets them in motion on his cryptically named Beer Labels in Motion Tumblr account.

And his latest? Gold. http://beerlabelsinmotion.tumblr.com/post/65403909137/count-orlok

So I'm just gonna post selfies until I'm needed.

Only 2 lbs. to go = reward!"

I didn't really have a weight loss goal on this year's Beer Diet. But getting down to 175 seems the right thing to do. It's where I wound up last year, too!

Since I'm so close with five days left, I'm going to splurge a little with a chorizo y huevos burrito from Filiberto's. This thing is massive and dense, so I'm only doing half and will skip my noon-time beer.

Our Halloween party is tonight, where I'll be featuring two pumpkin casks. I'll get to work on those now and post some pics.

Let the battle of the pumpkin casks begin!

Four Peaks Pumpkin Porter vs Stone Smoked Porter.

This is my second year using pumpkin casks. It's really simple to do:

1: Clean out your pumpkin like normal. Rinse to get rod of floating guts.

2: When dry (ish), braze the inside with a blowtorch. Yes, a blowtorch. Propane blowtorches are available at any hardware store for cheap.

3: Find the low point, and screw in a replacement ice chest spigot, clearing out any debris from the inside. Spigots are also found at that same hardware store.

4: Fill with something you think would be awesome when infused with pumpkin. I also have a white chocolate ale ready to go!

5: Drink! The longer it as, the flatter it gets. But it also absorbs more pumpkin, so make the tradeoff.

Happy Halloween Party!

So far, no one has. I can tell you that +Sheila Dee is a dragon, and that we are a punny theme.

Can you guess?
