I also have a steamy little excerpt for you.
Excerpt:I slide my hand across her waist, feeling the goose bumps appear from under me. The way her body responds to me is fucking hot. It fuels me to keep going in sexual torture. I grip a hand on each side of her panties and forcefully rip them apart. “We won’t be needing these,” I quip. “You think you’re funny, don’t you smart ass?” I feel her eyes looking down at me with fury as I continue teasing and torturing her. Before I let her spit anymore out at me, I aggressive push a finger in.“Oh my god,” she whimpers, the most beautiful sound in the world. I shove another one in, getting the same reaction, only louder. “Let me hear you, sweetheart.”I twist my fingers in and out of her until I’m completely soaked in her desire. I remove them just as I cup her with my mouth, soaking up all her wetness.“Oh, holy shit,” she breaths, trying to grasp for me with her tied-up hands. “No touching,” I remind her, smiling against her soft skin. I continue playfully torturing her into an intense frenzy. The way she comes around me is the most beautiful thing in the world. She made life worth living. Unbelievable how the one thing you need the most, is the one person who needs you the most. Only knowing Velaney for a few short months, I already knew I was going to marry her. When someone changes you for the better and loves you despite all your faults, you better marry that person, swoop them up and claim their body as yours—otherwise someone smarter than you will.“Holy shit, babe. You are fucking torture,” she spits out. Damn, I love the way she swears now. Even her little spits of swearing are hot.I’m just about to rip my jeans off when a loud, forceful knock interrupts. “Who the hell is that?”“Carissa probably locked herself out. She went to go do our laundry.”I sigh and pull my jeans back up. Damn, roommate.“Hold on!” Velaney yells as I scramble to release her hands. She fists her clothes off the floor and quickly dresses before answering the door.I see her peek through the peephole as I pull my shirt back over my head. She gasps and takes a step back.“What is it?” I ask, but without letting her respond, I catch up to her and look for myself.“You have got to be fucking kidding me,” she mumbles, locking her eyes on the door.“Who is it?” I ask, not recognizing the woman.“My mother.”

Corbin snorts. “It could be fun.” “Corbin! Teach her the sexing ways!” Breeze screams, Trish doesn’t even flinch. I realize everything I’ve just said. “Oh my god. Deviation by Dani Morales - Blog Tour Stop!

I am so proud of Dani! She's a good friend of mine, and I love her to pieces. This is her second novel! WOO!Okay here's the book!

BlurbIt takes just one week to realize that you’re broken, but not unfixable. ONE week to realize everything doesn’t come with a price. One week to fall in love with love. One week to fall in love with you. Family torn apart at thirteen by a drunk driver.Fifteen foster homes in five years.Determined to keep everything at bay, Nevaeh Rodgers will do whatever it takes to forget.
Until she meets Angel Barajas at a party. He can’t keep his eyes off of her. Saving her from a guy at the party and an overdose, he can’t just let her walk out his door. Determined to help her whether she wants the help or not, he sets out to find her and not a moment too soon. It takes ONE day to realize the relationship you’re in isn’t healthy and leave. TWO days to realize you’re as pathetic as the loser you stayed with. THREE days to get a combination of drugs out of your system. FOUR days to wish life would end so you can take matters into your own hands. FIVE days to be saved. It takes a week to realize that everything each and every one of those days has in common, is the vibrant blue eyes that are staring at me right now.
ExcerptWhen I come to again the first thing I notice is the fragrance of laundry. It smells just like when it comes out of the dryer. I roll over, shocked to come into contact with a warm, hard, body. I shoot up and scoot across the bed, only to end up falling on my ass on the other side. I bite back a groan and see that I’m only wearing my pink bra and panties. Sober. Shit! I’m totally fucking sober right now. I crawl around looking for my pants but find nothing. I glance up at the bed and see a guy lying there asleep. I stand up and tiptoe towards the door that I’m hoping is the bathroom. I open it, but instead of a bathroom, there’s a hallway. Part of the wall looks like the shape of a door, so I start pressing on it. When it finally opens, I see my clothes on the floor of the bathroom by the tub. Shutting the door behind me, I grab my pants and look for the pills but they’re gone. My backpack is missing too and I’m starting to freak out. I stand up and grab the counter when suddenly the door opens. I can’t even bring myself to look at whoever came in. All my focus is on trying to slow my breathing before I have a panic attack.“Just take a deep breath in; now slowly release it, deep breath in and out.” A deep voice says as the door clicks shut behind him. He places his hands on my hips and a shudder races through my body. I look up into the mirror and see a face that looks familiar but I can’t place it. I focus on his blue eyes which are the same shade mine used to be when I was younger. The same blue that reminds me of the innocence and happiness I had in my life before it was taken from me.“Who are you and where am I?” My voice is shaky from the warmth of his skin on mine.“Do you remember anything from last night?” He looks concerned.I try to remember. I remember walking home in the morning, I remember Timo walking in with that bitch, I even remember meeting up with Ice. I shudder. This guy flexes his hands on my hips, and when I look up in the mirror I see him watching me. Click. “You were at the party. I remember staring at you and then I was coming to talk to you when Timo showed up. He was about to punch me-“I stop. He meets my eyes in the mirror, “You stood in front of me and knocked Timo out, right?”He nods his head yes. I try to understand what’s going on and remember what happened after that but I come up with nothing. “Okay, so why am I here and who are you?”He sighs, “Well, my name is Angel and you are in my house because you blacked out.”I blacked out? I guess I took the wrong pill last night. “Okay, but that doesn’t explain why I’m still here. Yeah, okay, I blacked out and now I remember my vision getting blurry but that doesn’t explain why I’m still here-not that I’m ungrateful, but I’m not sure I should be thrilled either.”He laughs at me. “Well, after I knocked out Timo, your friend said you could stay with her but she was worried Timo would find you. So I decided to bring you to my place.”Alright. Well that makes perfect sense, I think. I feel myself nodding, “Okay, so…. why am I also half naked?”

Okay, I have a treat for you too :)
Angel stopped in for an interview!!!
Meet Angel -Hi Angel!
It's so nice to finally sit down with you :)
I hope you don't mind, but I want to pick your brain a little bit...
Ready?
Hey Rachel, pick away! *winks*
What made you choose Nevaeh at the party, and not someone else?
Honestly I didn’t plan to single anyone out at the party. I was there to keep an eye on a friend but when I saw Nevaeh walking through the crowd and our eyes locked, I was intrigued. I didn’t think she was into what goes down at those parties though she looked the part, but I can tell it was a cover. Then when she started dancing, let’s just say my curiosity met its limit and standing back was no longer an option.
When you decided to help Nevaeh, did you think it would end up being more than that?
I definitely hoped it would end up the way it did, but Nevaeh is so strong willed that I’m surprised she allowed me to help her.
What was going through your head when she hid away in the closet?
I knew she need the space and that she wouldn’t want anyone, especially a guy, seeing her struggle. She has too much pride for that, but I hated every minute. I didn’t know if she was actually ok or if she managed to slip something by me.
For you, in your past, what was the moment that made you realize you had a problem and needed help?
I don’t talk about my past much because it brings up a lot of bad memories, but I ended up overdosing. Luckily I was in a situation where people noticed what was happening and called the EMS. It was a real eye opener. When I saw my mom in the hospital room and a tube down my throat, I knew I had to get help. If not for me but for my mom.
Is there anything you would've done differently?
In my life? I would like to say definitely. I would go back and never got addicted to pills, but I would be lying. Everything that happened in my life was because of the mistakes I made and I’ve learned from them. They helped me grow and become who I am. It also brought me into Nevaeh’s life, indirectly maybe, but it gave me the opportunity to be there for her.
What is your favorite thing to do with Nevaeh and what is your favorite thing to do alone?
Nevaeh’s pretty competitive so anything that involves her is my favorite thing to do with her, but if I had to pick one thing, I would say watching movies with her. When we watch movies, she gets so into it that you can see her saying the lines under her breath, or she cries, but it’s her laugh that gets me every single time. Now alone… hmm I’m big on reading. But mostly I love to watch Nevaeh when she sleeps.
What did you want to do, career wise, as a kid?
Be a professional football player. Isn’t that all guys dream? *chuckles* I never really thought ahead. I was more in the now type of person. I didn’t care about consequences as long as what I got was what I wanted at that moment.
Thanks for coming to visit Angel :)Thanks for having me!

Ivy League by Chris Waltz blog tour stop!!!

I'm so excited about this!!!
Okay, here's the book!

But I guess that’s what happens when you become a teenage drug-dealer.”
Jamie Brewer has just gotten the one piece of mail he’s been waiting for his whole life: his college acceptance letter. But when a series of unfortunate events makes paying tuition to one of the most prestigious universities in the country practically impossible, Jamie makes a decision that will not only provide him with the cash he needs, but may also get him killed in the process…
Selling drugs starts out well for Jamie, but things quickly begin to spiral out of control: his best friend and girlfriend are weary of his career choice, a local police officer is determined to catch him in the act, and worst, his partner in crime, Gabe, may be more dangerous than anyone ever imagined.
What begins as fun and games is about to become much more serious, causing Jamie to question just how far he will go and who’s lives he will risk in order to become Ivy League
Moment of honesty. I know this author, bought the book months ago, did not read it. Why? Well, honestly I think part of me forgot I had an unread book on the shelf, the other part, I was afraid. Not of the book or the content. But that I either would love it, and turn our friendship into me fangirling every time he favorites my tweet or sends me mush, or that I would hate it...which is something I don't like. I hate to hate a book. It eats away at me.Anyway, I joined the his blog tour for a review, which I swear I'm getting to, and an INTERVIEW.... hehe... I LOVE INTERVIEWING!
NEWS FLASH.... I do NOT hate this book.Yes, that means you should go purchase this book AND read it right away. DO NOT do what I did and wait for months on end... My review- (Which I wrote as soon as I finished so it remained fresh.)
So I just finished reading Ivy League by Chris Waltz.*Stops a minute to catch breath*WOW.First, these characters have depth. If you think back to your own high school…you can probably pinpoint the Jamie or Gabe of your class, even an Airic or Riley.Airic is a Jiminey Cricket kind of guy. The guy always there for you, wanting to help, and has a good conscious. He’s a great best friend, and genuinely cares about the well-being of his friends.Riley was a pretty kickass person too. I can’t say too many people would likely be alright with what she was alright with. Can’t say she was feeling that way through the entire story, but she had hope.Gabe is one scary dude. I really can’t say much else. He has a quality to him that makes you want to like him, trust him, even love him. But then he’s got this edge, sharp as a razor, and makes you wonder if you’ve been dooped into thinking he’s trustworthy.Jamie is a guy in a tough situation. He’s faced with tough decisions and educates himself to the best of his ability before following through. Granted, his decisions may not always be the best…but no one is perfect. I really enjoyed this story. It’s gritty and refreshing all at the same time. I love that Jamie chooses the cartoon devil on his shoulder more often than not. There’s too many books about goodie goodies choosing the right path, or attempting to. This main character knows he’s choosing the wrong path, but does it regardless. He has his own reasons for doing so. I can’t say I “approve” of his career path but it’s a decision that many are faced with.

Meet the Author

Christopher Waltz was born in Indiana in 1987 and promptly began writing once leaving the womb. While this is a complete lie, Christopher did begin writing around age eight at which point he penned and illustrated a sequel to the film "Jumanji."
Since that time, Christopher has continued writing and obtained a degree in secondary education from Indiana University's School of Education. He currently works with a non-profit organization and writes, hoping to one day be a famous and influential author.
He has recently published his first novella, "Come as you are" on the Amazon Kindle Store and lulu.com.***Purchase Come As You Are HERE
Now it's time for the interview! :D
How do you handle book jitters? Like when you release a book, or send to an editor, what do you do to relax or take your mind off of it?For me, when I send something to be edited, the relaxation comes by knowing that I’m working to make it better. It’s always nerve-wracking to get it back and see all these corrections and mistakes, but had I not sent it out in the first place, those would never have been found… you know, until a reader pointed them out to me, which has happened and feels terrible.
Do you have a focusing technique? The only thing that really focuses me is complete silence. I know a lot of people listen to music while they write, or do other things, but if it’s completely quiet, I’ll be in a better place. Coffee helps too.
Where is your favorite place to write?I actually really like to write in my bed; it’s comfortable and familiar, so being able to just get into bed with my laptop also puts me in a good place. These answers are starting to make me sound like a hermit though…
What's the first thing you do when an idea comes to you?I have to jot it down. If I don’t write it somewhere, on a napkin, in a notebook, somewhere, I risk losing it. I try to keep a Word document with all my ideas in it, but if I’m not near a computer when the idea hits, I’ll basically write it anywhere. I’ve even written ideas on my hand or arm before if no paper is around.
What's your biggest pet peeve?Hmmm. As far as my own writing, my biggest pet peeve is using the same word too many times. I’ll go through my works in progress and see where I use the same word over and over. I may not see the word for ten or twelve pages at a time, but I have “go-to” words and I know what they are. One of them is “suddenly.”
Is there anything one of your characters have said/done that made you uncomfortable, even to write it?There’s a scene in Ivy League where Gabe beats someone with a baseball bat. That really made me uncomfortable, not only to write, but to even include in the story. I knew I wanted it to be a gritty, terrifying scene, especially for Jamie who is watching it all happen from inside a car, but at the same time, I just kept thinking “this is wrong.” I mean, Gabe really doesn’t hold back; he’s threatening this guy, who is a teenager, and when the teenager finally is able to speak, his words are all muffled from being beaten. I almost took the entire scene out, but I kept it because I needed the readers to see how intense and how unstable Gabe really was.
Can you tell me anything about your next release? It’s all up in the air right now! I’m currently working on an Ivy League sequel and a new, standalone called Nineteen, but I have no idea when or if either of them will ever see the light of day. I go through phases where my life is insanely busy and writing has to take the backburner. I hate it, but I have to prioritize sometimes. I plan to get back into writing again within the next few weeks.
Do you do anything special when you complete a WIP? (Funny dance? Tears of joy? Play pranks?)I think I do a lot of reflection. And to be honest, and I’m sure you can agree, a work in progress never really feels done. So, I sit down, think about everything I just wrote, and wonder what I can change to make it better. I re-read everything and ask myself if it even makes sense, and if I’m lucky, it does.
Have you always wanted to be an author?I hate to answer that question with a ‘no,’ but I really haven’t always wanted to be an author. I go through phases; I’ve wanted to be an actor, a hairstylist, an artist, a director… You name it, I’ve wanted to do it. I have wanted to be an author since about age eight though, so I think it has been the career choice that has stuck the longest.
(Something I ask everyone!) If you could have any supernatural power, what would it be?I really love the X-Men, so I would probably take one of their super powers. The trick is that all super powers come with some kind of curse. I always thought having Cyclops’ laser eyes would be great… but then I realized I could never actually look at someone without killing them! I think I would choose to control the weather, though, like Storm. I’m never satisfied with the weather and having control over it would make me a much happier person.
If I mailed you my paperback copy of Ivy League, would you sign it and mail it back? (I could bribe you with a PA basket...)Duh, yes!
What is something you want to learn? (Riding a bike? Formatting? Driving stick? Etc.)I’ve recently become interested in learning to play the keyboard. I’ve also been dabbling in Roller Derby, so I think either of those can go on this list.
When a book makes you cry, you ______.When a book makes me cry, I know I’ll read something else by the author. If an author has the ability to bring out emotion in me, they have proven to me, right then and there, that they have a special gift.
What was your favorite scene in Ivy League?I think my favorite scene, other than the ending (because I can’t talk about that) is the scene when Jamie comes home from a date with Riley and basically everyone is waiting for him at his house, demanding answers. By this time in the story, he’s lied to so many people… it’s just really funny for me to see them all wanting the truth at the same time. My favorite TV show, Weeds, did something similar in one of its episodes, and I knew when I saw it that I had to incorporate it into Ivy Leaguesomehow. It was just too perfect.
The badminton scene in gym class... *write what you know* Do you feel the same way Jamie does about badminton? The badminton scene was interesting to write. When I planned out the scene, I couldn’t decide on which sport they would be playing. I thought back to my own gym class and remembered having the exact same thoughts on badminton. The entire two weeks, I was very vocal about “why the hell are we doing this?!” Also, I knew in advance that Jamie was going to be “assaulting” Gabe to get his attention, so, I knew they couldn’t be practicing archery or anything too dangerous. Badminton seemed annoying enough and not too dangerous.Find Christopher Waltz -TwitterBlogFacebook

Teaser Tuesday!!
I completely forgot last week to get a teaser post ready, so this week, I'm giving a teaser for A Message of Flowers, my NA Contemporary Romance AND the very first teaser for Soul Promise, book 2 of The Soul Mate Series.... Hope you enjoy!
Soul Promise (The Soul Mate Series, Book Two) teaser -(***unedited and subject to change***)
When we get into the hallway Barry takes off running down the hall to the stairs, not knowing what else to do, I follow him. The running helps, some, but it makes my wolf try to surface even more. I push him back as best I can. This reminds me of the night I found my wolf. “Henry!” Someone said trying to wake me up. “Dude! Get the hell up!” Sounded like Barry. “No,” I mumbled and grip the body lying next to me tighter. Wait, there’s a body next to me? Where am I? Looking around the room I notice the room is mine, and the body is Skeeter. The day’s events passed through my head, birthday party, demons trying to attack my sister in the bathroom, and Skeeter falling asleep on my shoulder downstairs. Since she’s not sixteen yet, she doesn’t have the protection of the Ichor in her veins yet. “What Barry?” I sat up while keeping my hand on Skeeter’s arm to keep her protected. “It’s Jazzy, get out of bed and help me damn it!” He growled at me. I jumped out of bed and took off for her room. What does he mean by help him? He was supposed to be with her as soon as Seth left! What happened to my sister?! I hear Skeeter and Barry behind me but I can’t focus on what they’re saying. I reach her door and Barry slams into me. “Downstairs, idiot!” He growls and gives me a shove towards the stairs. I run down the stairs, letting my reach swallow the steps two and three at a time. I can hear her gasping for breath and trying to talk to Seth. Shit, something bad happened. If it was one of those wraiths, I would’ve heard her. Hell, everyone in the house would’ve. When I step into the living room and see the hand print glaring on her cheek, like a neon sign, my body quakes with rage. She looks broken - tears streaming down her cheeks, lip caked with dried blood, and she’s holding her side. Before I even knew what happened I ended up in front of Jazzy. Grinding my teeth, I ask a stupid question. “Are you okay?” When all she does is lightly nod, I close my eyes and hold her hand. I can feel the rage inside me brewing to a boiling and I know I’m shaking. I let go of her hand and hightail it into the kitchen. I just need a minute to calm down. I don’t know what’s happening. I close my eyes and try to breathe, but the rage inside me is suffocating. I need to hit something, someone. No one touches my sister! As I groan someone shoves me into the glass doors and reaches around to yank it open. “Go out! Now!” Barry growls in my ear. Insane with rage I lashed out at him. “Barry! Stop!” I shouted. “Jaz…” everything turned into growls as he pushed me onto the deck. My skin felt like it was on fire. My bones started cracking, muscles stretching and pulling in ways that I know aren’t possible. He quickly helps me down the stairs. “Stay calm,” Barry kept repeating. If I could respond I’d tell him to go to Hell. Pain consumes me as more fire burns through me and my bones begin to shift positions. “This is normal, you’re okay, just breathe.” Barry said in a soothing voice that I’ve never heard him use. Suddenly there’s an animal quality to my mind, everything smells different, clearer and stronger. I could hear Jazzy and Seth talking inside. “Your wolf is kinda small, Henry. No worries, we’ll beef ya up.” I just looked at him and my wolf growled out my response. We run out of the school and through the parking lot. “Woods,” I growl. He nods and I press my feet harder into the pavement, forcing myself into a faster speed. “Take it easy, you don’t have extra clothes!” Barry shouts reminding me that if I shift now, I’ll be naked. I take a deep breath and slow my pace as we cross the football field and duck behind the bleachers to access the tree line. “Hang a left!” Barry shouts from somewhere behind me as I weave through trees. I start to slow and yank both shirts over my head. When I come to a stop, I just drop my clothes and shift, letting out a loud and long snarl. Barry’s wolf responds, and I can only guess he’s telling me to shut my trap because we’re still on school property. This is what I need. I can finally breathe without the frenzied tightness in my chest.

Anger boils my blood. “Who would do this?!” I fist my hands and turn away, going back to my plant. “I don’t know,” Corbin says, following me. I sit in the yard next to the damaged bush and finger the leaves. “I just want to sleep for like ever,” I grumble. He chuckles. “You don’t need to sleep forever.” He shrugs and sits beside me. “If you do, you won’t see the new growth, or go exploring, or experience anything this life has to offer,” he says and bumps his elbow into mine. I look at him sideways. “Thank you.” I smile. “Come on in, I’ll order a pizza.” He laughs, and we go inside. He orders the pizza while I feed Chowder. I can’t help but look at him any chance I can. He’s shirtless, it’s meant to happen. “Twenty minutes,” he says, catching me ogling him. I blush. “Sounds good.” Oh God, he caught me staring at his bare chest! He walks up to me. “Sunshine, you wouldn’t happen to have a shirt that’s, ya know, not girly?” I frown slightly. “Yea, I probably do.” I walk around him towards my bedroom and feel him follow me. “It might not fit as well as your own shirts, but it’ll do.” I bend over in my closet and dig in the box that contains some of my dad’s shirts. I smile as I pull out a “Pull My Finger” tee. Dad was a character, loved wearing funny tees at inappropriate events. I turn and see him staring at me and leaning against my bedpost. “Here,” I say quietly and hand him the shirt. He pulls it over his head without looking and laughs when he looks down. “Your dad wore a shirt like this one to graduation.” I nod and look away. That shirt will definitely keep me from ogling him. As I walk passed him to the door, he stops me by putting his hand on mine. “Thank you,” he whispers, tugging me into him for a hug. I wrap my arms around his waist and let him hold me. It feels nice to be in his arms, comforting and safe. I pull back and look up to him. “Anytime.” His brown eyes search mine and fall to my lips. I don’t move. I don’t breathe. I can’t. Anticipation traps me in a still form, while my insides scream, “Kiss me you fool!”

Release date: August 26th, 2013
Category/Genre: New Adult Romance

It doesn't hurt that he's part of the reason her brother is dead, either. So Cali hates him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.
But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.
