L@@K at ME! Ribbons & Os by R.E. Hargrave #GIVEAWAY #BDSMerotica

RIBBONS & Osby R.E. HargraveGenre: BDSM Erotica
Cover Designer: The Graphics Shed

Carina Anderson has had a craptastic year. From losing her parents in separate freak accidents to finding her boyfriend and BFF engaged in kinky sex games, her general enthusiasm for life has evaporated. It’s not a surprise that by the time Christmas rolls around, she’s ready to lock her doors and hermit the season away—until a chance encounter forces her outlook to change. With her newfound attitude, Carina takes a wild leap and lands herself in a world she never dreamed of. A world she’ll soon find she can’t get enough of.

Dr. Elijah Davies has been counting down the days until he can return to England—and the creature comforts of his playroom. Now used to the hustle and bustle of London, he’s only come back to Hooksett as a favor to his eccentric uncle. But when an adorable and oh-so-sexy elf crosses his path, Elijah decides his visit to the small New Hampshire town might not end up being so boring after all.

Never underestimate the magic of the season… or the power of attraction.

As my eyes scanned over the huddles of bodies, I noticed a lone man in the far corner. He sat so that his back was against the wall, his long, worn jean-covered legs stretched out in front of him. Donned in a threadbare, long-sleeved black shirt and what looked to be a handmade scarf wrapped around his neck, I couldn’t see his face as he concentrated on a tattered book in his hands. I was still watching him, willing him to look up at me in fact, when Deborah returned.

Just as I turned to give her my attention, he lifted his head, then smirked while he blatantly ran his eyes up and down my body. My breath caught in my throat at his feral intrusion. Something in the way he stared me down made me feel like I was on the menu, and I shuddered, my panties dampening. His eyes crinkled when he laughed.

“Carina, this here is Stan and Billy, if you’ll show them where your car is, they’ll bring everything in,” Deborah said, capturing my attention.

“Yeah, sure,” I mumbled, my eyes cutting back to the corner where the man was still staring at me. My outfit suddenly felt a tad silly and childish.

I led Stan and Billy out to my car and unlocked the doors so they could load up baskets. While they headed back inside with their first armfuls, I went to the trunk to retrieve the bags of cocoa.

“May I—”

I’d been leaning into the trunk, stretching to reach the bag which had shifted to the back, when the deep voice startled me, causing me to lose my footing and fall forward into the trunk. Horrified that my ass was on display as my legs flailed behind me, there was nothing I could do. A loud, rich laugh reverberated around me, caressing me and making it hard to think straight.

“Oh, dear, let me give you a hand,” he said, and hands closed on my hips, but not before they ran faintly over my ass. His British accent and wandering hands left a searing heat where they’d touched me… fuck me.

Would it be wrong to take one of the strays home with me? I wondered for half a second.

With his help, I managed to get my feet back on the ground and remove myself from the trunk victorious, cocoa bag in hand. I uprighted myself with a pleased smile on my face and shifted to thank my would-be attacker and savior in one. It was the man from the corner.

And he was grinning at me again.

My chest and cheeks heated up as embarrassment washed over me knowing it had been him to witness my flailing about. “Thank you,” I whispered.

“You’re blinking?” he stated, an air of confusion in his tone. Huh?

I glanced down to see what he was talking about and realized that in my stumble I must’ve bumped the on-button for my bra. The exposed shoulder strap was indeed flashing, along with all the trim work on the bra, which was now quite visible through my white sweater.

“Shit!” I cursed under my breath then stuck my hand down my top to locate the switch, withdrawing my hand and looking up once the lights were dimmed again. “Yeah, uh, that wasn’t supposed to happen.” I giggled, feeling sheepish. In the sunlight, I could see that his hair was strawberry blond, and it sparkled with meandering snowflakes. His eyes were a dark green that matched my leggings.

He licked his lips as he leaned into me, his hand grasping my elbow then sliding down my forearm to catch the bag in my hand left a fiery trail in its wake. The man pressed his mouth to my ear and I felt his warm breath as he purred into my ear, “It’s very festive. I like it… it’d be a great treat to see all of the light show, love.”

Leaving me speechless, my cheek warmed where he kissed it before walking away with the cocoa.

Excerpt from Fortune's Kiss:
He lowered his mouth to hers in a tender touch of their lips. She could feel the warmth of his lips on hers, and they explored in a leisurely kiss as if they had all the time in the world. Sounds of the carnival faded away as they rose higher into the sky.Elliot surprised her by not getting handsy. He only touched her neck, wrapping his hand around it while his other hand went to her waist. He seemed content to just kiss her and not do anything else. She returned his kisses, luxuriously running her tongue across his teeth, exploring the recesses of his mouth with a whimper. The kiss was perfect; it didn’t ask for anything or make demands. London relished the feeling of rightness in this moment with Elliot.London suddenly understood a fundamental truth about couples in general. She kissed Elliot because the setting was perfect. It wasn’t a claiming thing or an interest in going further, it was a kiss. She kissed him because the intimacy of the gesture showed her desire to be close to him, and not in a sexual way. She’d always thought holding hands and kissing in public were signs of possessiveness, but they weren’t. Instead of possessiveness, she realized it showed a desire to be close—to maintain contact in a way that was acceptable to others. And this kiss was perfect. The leisurely contact, as she wrapped her arms around Elliot’s waist to pull him closer, was amazing. There was absolutely no other place in the world she wanted to be right now. She was in her thirties and had never kissed a man like this.A throat clearing had them pulling apart reluctantly to find the Ferris wheel had stopped and the tattooed, toothless attendant was standing there with a giant grin on his face. “Magic in the air, tonight! Want another go?” Bushy eyebrows waggled at them.London couldn’t have told him her name after that kiss, much less the story behind it. She was afraid if she went on another turn with Elliot, he’d have her kissed into brain mush.Elliot got out, a small smile on his face, and turned to hold out his hand to London. Shetook it and, weak-kneed, managed to stumble out of the Ferris wheel carriage before another couple got on.Leading Elliot down the midway, they were silent as she digested the way she felt right now. She wanted more with Elliot, and he was the first man to ever make her feel that way. He held her hand as they walked, and London’s traced her swollen lips with her fingers as she stared at the ground in front of her.His hand was massive, wrapped around hers, and spoke of safety, protection, and belonging. Their hands swung absently between them as they weaved in and around people. The lights flashing, bells ringing, and people laughing all faded into the distance as London was just present with Elliot.“That woman is waving you over, London.” Elliot’s soft voice spoke the first words since they’d gotten off the Ferris wheel.London’s head snapped up, her eyes focusing on the woman he pointed to. It was her.The fortune-teller.The dimly lit tent at the end of the midway looked so familiar, even twenty years later. The woman looked the same—old and wizened, with a wild array of dark curls spilling around her face.“I know her.” Not really, but she’d dreamed of this woman so many times, remembering her, wondering about her. They walked over to the fortune-teller, ignoring all else. “Hi,” London said stupidly. “How’ve you been?”The woman’s dark eyes went from London to Elliot before her face broke into a smile. “I see you found your dreamer. Do you feel it?” London wasn’t sure what she felt, but she felt something, so she nodded.Part of London wanted to go inside the tent and see if it had changed, but another part of her didn’t think this was real. She looked up at Elliot, who was watching the woman with a bemused expression on his face. Okay, so he saw her, maybe she was real. The woman turned her attention to Elliot, who stiffened under her scrutiny. “Destiny is difficult … Very difficult …” Her attention back on London, she said, “You’ve found him, now keep him.”She went back into her tent, and London tugged Elliot away. “Friend of yours?” he asked, laughing nervously.
“Not exactly. More of an acquaintance.” London turned to look back at the tent, and as before, it was engulfed in darkness, as if there was no one there. “Take me home.” Elliot’s eyes darkened under the lights of the carnival, and he wrapped his hand around her waist, his fingers lingering just above her butt.“With pleasure,” he spoke with a promise that took her breath away.

TAKING CHANCESChances Series, Book 2
by J. BlissGenre: Romantic Erotica

This story follows Jasmine Chance who is lying in a coma after being brutally attacked by her mother’s boyfriend. Andrew Rodd stays by her side during her recovery after the sudden trauma.

As she prepares for her new start in Paris, France she moves in with Drew and they fall in love, but it is not as easy. She’s dealing with discovering what she wants and likes while facing the aftermath of her attack, family members that are attempting to make her life a living hell, and the news that her biological father has been in contact with her sister.

Being in a relationship with Drew seems impossible. Jasmine feels like she’s never going to escape the ongoing drama of her past. Jasmine’s new start feels like it’s in jeopardy and she has to decide whether staying in Atlanta or following her dream of going to Paris is best.

“I don’t want you to be uncomfortable with anything we do, Jasmine.”

I grin. “Thanks, Drew, I love you.” I look him up and down, in slow motion. “Take off your pants.” He smiles and unzips his slacks. Drew removes his pants.

“Take off your dress...I want to see you.” I shake my head.

“You know what I look like, Drew.”

“You know what I feel like inside of your wet pussy too, but you still want it.” He grabs his pants, going after his wallet. This guy has a condom everywhere. I remove my dress admiring his chocolate erection. Drew unbuttons his shirt.

“Drew, what if a cop comes?” Laying his shirt on the other side of him, he smirks, traveling his fingers to my breast. “I’ll pay the fine.” His touch makes me lose my thoughts. “Shhh, Jasmine. Let me study you.” Drew takes one of my nipples in his mouth and my body tingles all over. I grab the back of his head. No words escape my mouth, only the sounds of me moaning after him.“You are so beautiful, Jasmine.” He grips my breast until his lips fall upon my neck. Drew sucks my skin in his mouth and my legs relax. The arch of my back inclines. He is teasing me with his touch.

“Drew, you are so sexy.” I need him inside of me now. I grab his waist. “Drew, I want to feel you.” He takes his hand under me, lifting me and we are in an upright position. His heartbeat is so loud. I straddle on top of every inch of him taking him inside. “Drew!”

“Jasmine, I love your screams in my ear.” Drew takes charge of my hips motioning my body at his command. This is so whimsical. He looks in my eyes. “I don’t want you to ever forget me.” Drew takes my fingers spreading them apart as if they were my legs. He motions deep inside of me, nice and slow. His warm tongue licks between each of my fingers. He is igniting every cell in my nervous system.

“I can’t forget you, Drew.” I am so lost in his touch.

My hands grip his shoulder up to the top of his head while he grabs at the inside of my thighs. My head drops back as Drew pulls my hair, I bend back and he holds my waist. “I got you, Jasmine.” Drew elevates his hips, grinding me deeper. His finger gently crosses my clit from side to side and I tremble.

“Oh, Drew.” I rise as he nestles his head between my breast. He thrusts harder and deeper reaching after my very soul. “Drew...mmmm.”

“Jasmine.” Only the sounds of lovemaking are heard as he slides in and out of my juices. Drew motions me harder and harder.

“Ohhh...Drew.” Faster and faster as I scream his name. “Ahhh...Andrew.” The sweat and friction is so intense. His fingertips run down my back. Overflowing with the sensation of being filled by him I sound off like a siren. “Andrew.” My legs tighten and tears of pleasure fall before me while my molten wetness releases. “Ahhh...Andrew.”

When I left my home state of Texas for Georgia, I brought with me a spirit of bulldog tenacity on a mission. Despite my rise and fall of a promising father, NFL star of America’s team, I used my detachment to come to terms with recollections I desired to escape.
A native of Dallas, TX, by the time I was 6 years old my parents divorced. I spent much time with relative after relative; when I was not with my beloved grandmother, developing, becoming known as a child with an “old spirit” and “strong willed” as my father, at an early age. Losing my parents of negligence had a long lived effect on me-convincing me to conquer the dream to be loved.
At thirteen, I was writing stimulating poetry, influenced by my mother’s writings and books by Maya Angelo and Terry McMillan. However, this did not win me over with my mother’s protective thoughts of me as her daughter. I dreamt of being an author of no account of relinquishing the passion deep within to write.
At the age of twenty two, I married and moved to Georgia. I am raising my four children and living my dream as an author and teaching writing courses. My first novella originated from my past radio talk show, based on many callers that called in about having marital problems which mostly stemmed from lack of intimacy. Drawing from my own experiences and struggles, I felt compelled to write Lover’s of Convenience, leading to the Chance series.

RELEASE TOUR: His Personal Assistant by L.J. Harris #GIVEAWAY #GayRomance

HIS PERSONAL ASSISTANTMen of New York, Book 1
by L.J. HarrisGenre: Contemporary Gay Romance
Cover Designer: The Graphics Shed
Editor: R.E. Hargrave

At the tender age of twenty-one, Kade Hutchins is at a crossroads, having endured enough hardship to last a thousand lifetimes. With money tight and career at a standstill, he's running out of time and options. The day he applies for a job that isn't exactly in his field of expertise and meets his new boss, Mr. Preston, is the day his fate is changed irrecoverably.

Luke Preston is the kind of man others envy. Rich, successful and unattached, his no-nonsense, ‘take no prisoners attitude’ has made him one of the highest profile litigators in Manhattan. He’s also a man with secrets. Secrets he wants kept under wraps since tragedy rocked his privileged existence to the core. When Kade, a man some fifteen years his junior steps foot inside his office, Luke wonders if his heart will survive.

Brushing an errant piece of fluff off my shoulder, I straightened the hem of my shirt and took a deep breath. Not that it did much good. By the time the elevator doors opened on the tenth floor, my nerves were beyond frazzled. With less than a minute to spare, I stepped inside the plush, modern offices.

A striking woman sitting behind a large reception desk greeted me, looking most business-like. What didn’t make sense was the way she seemed ready to pounce the second she saw me. I was surprised she didn’t fall flat on her face, considering she wore a pencil-thin black skirt and high-heeled shoes and was on her feet and running toward me like a crazy person.

“Thank God you’re here!”

“Um, what?” I took a wary step backward. She was kinda scary.

“Please tell me you’re Kade Hutchins.”

“Oh. Yes, I am.”

She held out her hand and when I took it in mine, I was impressed by her firm, assured grip. “You have no idea how relieved I am to see you.”

“Uh, thanks?” The warm smile she gave in response made her round, hazel eyes sparkle. Her hospitable attitude made me feel at ease in an instant, and I couldn’t help but grin back.

“The name’s Kimberly O'Connell. I’m the paralegal around here.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Ms. O’Connell.”

“Oh, please, I insist you call me Kimberly.”

“Okay.”

Releasing her hold on me, she pointed a manicured finger at the closed office door located behind the desk. “Come on, Kade. Let’s get you in to see His Highness.” Covering her mouth, she giggled.

“Who?” I stopped myself from joining in, but it wasn’t easy. She had an infectious laugh.

“Luke Preston. The ass you spoke to on the phone.”

“Oh.” I didn’t know whether it was appropriate to agree with her or not, but decided it would be best to err on the side of caution.

“Sorry about him, by the way.” Kimberly knocked, before lowering her voice to a faint whisper, and adding, “I had no idea he was going to answer the phone when I went to make his coffee. He usually lets the machine pick up, but I didn’t think to switch it on since I was only going to be gone a few minutes.”

The moment I let out a nervous chuckle, the door to Luke Preston’s office flew open.

Tall and broad-shouldered, the strong jaw, high cheekbones, and dark brown hair slicked back so not a lock was out of place, coupled with the way his body filled out that navy suit, made Luke Preston look more like a model than a lawyer. My guess was that he was in his mid-thirties, but holy shit, did he wear it well. Startling emerald eyes fringed by long, dark lashes stared at me with such intensity that, for a split second, I forgot to breathe. His sharp features were softened by flawless, pale skin and full lips so plush, I wondered what they would feel like pressed against my own. In that briefest of moments, I knew I was in trouble as my head began waging a war with my heart so fierce, I didn’t know whether to pull him in for a kiss or run for my life.

All I could do was wait for him to say something… anything to break the tension.

RELEASE TOUR: Pure Innocence (The Extraordinary Life of Amy Winston) by Liza O'Connor #Regency #HistoricalRomance

PURE INNOCENCEThe Extraordinary Life of Amy Winston, Book 1
by Liza O'ConnorGenre: Historical Regency Romance with Paranormal elements

For some, Amy is an angel incarnate; for others, she is the child of Satan. In her early years, Amy learns the skills of a soldier and discovers she can heal with the touch of her hand. Upon the death of her beloved Uncle John, he stays as a protective ghost to assist the soldiers in their vigilant efforts to keep her safe. Never has a girl arrived at Madam Cousec’s School for Young Ladies with more charm, more friends, or greater protection. She’ll need them all to survive the head girl and set her future in motion.

John sat down upon the ground, so he would look less threatening. “I mean you no harm.” He spoke in the soft voice he used to calm war-panicked horses. His words came slow, in gentle tones, letting them sink in through her fear.

She hugged her child harder and rocked faster, but she did not try to run away.

“I want to help you. I can see you are hurt and afraid. You are probably hungry as well. I can give you shelter and food, see your wounds are tended and provide clean clothes for the baby and you.”

Upon comprehending his words, she burst into a torrid of tears and sobs that shook her body so hard he feared she would trigger the collapse of the entire cliff.

“Please don’t cry,” he begged. “The ground you are upon is unstable. I need you to be very, very still until my man returns with the ropes, so that I may rescue you. Will you do that for me? Will you be very still?”

She stopped crying and stared at him. “Why do you want to help me?”

“Because you need my assistance. I can see you are all alone and desperately in need of help.”

“I am, but you will not help me—not once you have learned what I have done.”

“I know that you’ve had a child and were tossed from your home because you would not name the father.”

“I could not name him. There is no father. I have lain with no man. There was only a dream, a wonderful dream of a handsome prince on a white stallion. He declared me the most beautiful lady he had ever seen, and he kissed me and made my body burn with fire. Then I woke up from my shady spot on the banks and I was alone as always. It was the devil, you see. He came to me in my dreams.”

She began to rock again as she held her baby tight against her chest. “That is why you will not help me—because of the dream. I am the whore of Satan and this child is his spawn.”

He feared he’d soon lose her to madness.

“Amy, I don’t think that is true. You are too sweet to be the whore of Satan. Your child is too good-natured to be his seed.”

She looked up at him in shock and stopped rocking. “She is very good-natured and so very beautiful. But what other reason might there be?”

“Amy, I believe the man in your dreams was real. He must have come to you while you slept and lay with you while he distracted you with kisses and sweet words. Can you remember more about his features? For example, what was the color of his hair?”

“The color of yours,” she said. “When I first saw you, I thought you were the man in my dream and you had come to rescue me. But you are not him.”

“No, I am not. But I do want to rescue you.”

She studied him. “His face was smoother than yours and his eyes sparkled blue. And there was a tiny mole on the edge of his mouth.”

Her words stopped his heart. Dear God, she was describing his younger brother, Alexander. Yet, that was impossible. Alexander had died in battle eight months ago and before that, he had remained in London.

RELEASE TOUR: Luke du Jour by Petie McCarty #GIVEAWAY #Regency #TImeTravel #Romance

DUKE DU JOURLords in Time series, Book 1by Petie McCartyGenre: Regency Time-Travel Romance
Publisher: The Wild Rose Press

Jared Langley, present-day Duke of Reston, tumbles into an abandoned fountain on his ducal estate and travels back in time to the year 1816. There, Reston servants and local villagers think him a dead ringer for his namesake and rakehell ancestor—the seventh Duke of Reston, gone missing at the Battle of Waterloo. Unfortunately, Seven got mixed up with French spies out to assassinate the Duke of Wellington, and an unwary Jared ends up in their crosshairs.

Lady Ariana Hart has loved Jared Langley, the seventh Duke of Reston, since she was twelve years old, until the night the rogue broke her heart. Given up for dead, her rakish neighbor makes a miraculous return from Waterloo—only Jared shows up a changed man and reignites all the feelings Ariana had long ago buried.

Jared is in a race against time. He must waylay the suspicions of his quirky servants and neighbors, get to Wellington before the French spies do, fix his fountain—before Seven shows up—so Jared has a way home, and definitely not fall in love with the irresistible Lady Ariana.

“Did I hurt you?” he asked, as he pulled the boot free.

“No!” she blurted.

His gaze swung up to her face, and she forced a smile. The boot removal had affected her as much as him. How would he ever make it through the night? He frowned slightly and then set to work on the other boot, holding her other knee and reigniting the heart palpitations all over again.

She made another swipe at the coverlet with her palms and almost fell over sideways. He fought back a grin. Misery loved company, and the sight of her flushed cheeks and bright eyes caught his breath in his throat.

Jared straightened and placed the second boot by the first next to the bed. “Are you feeling all right? You look a bit flushed. Maybe the ride was too much for you.”

He leaned in and placed the back of his hand against her forehead, ostensibly to check for a fever, and she whimpered at his touch. The intimate sound had his mouth feeling dry as sand, and he desperately wanted to touch more than her forehead.

His gaze locked with hers. Her eyes darkened.

Oh no. This could be trouble. A misstep here could ruin her…Or keep me here forever.

Still he did not move his hand. His gaze held hers. “You feel warm.”

He heard his voice go low and raspy.

Great. Let her know she has the upper hand.

Was she warm or was he? Every vein and artery in his body pulsed with the need he had denied since the day he’d met her.

“I’m fine,” she said softly.

He had to fight this magnetism, or he would have her ruined in short order.

“Are you?” He leaned closer.

Her look of befuddlement tugged at his heart, and he fought the lust roiling in his chest. He couldn’t read the look in her eyes. Did she want him, too? Oh, what did it matter unless he kissed her?

She leaned forward, whispered, “I think so.”

“Let me check.” He pressed his lips to hers.

Every nerve ending in his body exploded with pleasure. Primal desire had overwhelmed him in the taproom after he had saved her from the drunken farmer, his primitive nature taking the lead.

My lady. Mine.

He had not thought twice. Jumped in like the knight in shining armor she raved on about. He had wanted to be her knight.

His lips did not plunder, as she no doubt expected. He gentled his kiss so as not to frighten her, locked together in this room as they were. He brushed his lips across hers, caressed, hoping to make her want him half as much as he wanted her. He leaned back to stare into her eyes. He shouldn’t have started this. He would not be able to stop.

“This way lies disaster,” he rasped, “for both of us.”

“Maybe,” she said breathlessly, “but could I please have another?”

RELEASE TOUR: Donnach's Daughter by Nancy Pennick #GIVEAWAY #HistoricalRomance

DONNACH'S DAUGHTERThe Clan MacLaren series, Book 2
by Nancy PennickGenre: Historical Romance Stand Alone Novel
Publisher: Satin Romance, an imprint of Melange Books

Glynis MacLaren longs to see the world, not get married and live a suffocating life in Scotland. She leaps at the chance to escort her sister to the colonies. She soon finds out the larger world is just as constraining for a woman. People expect her to marry and follow certain protocol. Then she meets the ship’s captain. He stirs feelings in her that she never knew she had. The trip across the ocean is filled with the adventure she sought, love she didn’t expect and a sudden heartbreak when the journey ends.

“A good evening to you, madam,” Captain Aaron Redding addressed the woman standing at the bow’s rail, her back to him as she stared out to sea. He liked to make the habit of getting to know the passengers, especially the upper class. Word of mouth was paramount to the success of his merchant ship. He had learned the ways of polite society at a young age and knew from many admirers he was quite handsome. The combination of the two went far in his business. “Let everyone know how well you were treated aboard the Pembroke,” he would bow and tell them as they disembarked at the end of the journey.

Aaron shook his head, returning to the moment. Perhaps she did not hear. The wind had picked up, and waves crashed against the side of the ship. “Madam? We have just left port and this will be your first night at sea. Are you faring well?”

A steady breeze blew across the ship. The woman wore no cap, and her blue silk dress whirled about in the wind, at times clinging to her body. Her dark hair reached almost to her waist and whipped around her in a seductive way. For some outlandish reason, Aaron longed to reach out and latch onto one of those silky locks, run it through his fingers then bring the tip to his nose to inhale the fragrance. The willowy figure in front of him didn’t acknowledge his presence, which made him all the more infatuated. She pulled her shawl closer to her body, tossed her head, and became still again.

Perhaps she is hypnotized by the sunset. It is one of the more magnificent ones I have seen in a while. Or enthralled by the crash of the waves on the bow? I sometimes cannot even hear when I am close to the ship’s edge with the wind and sound of waves in my ears. He wished to join her at the rail yet afraid he would startle her. So he stood quietly behind her, watching the edge of the horizon where the sky met the ocean, as the sun sank out of sight in a blaze of deep pink, golden yellow, and shades of purple. He felt a strange communion with her, this shadow of a woman who disappeared in the last ray of sunlight that almost blinded him.

Aaron blinked as if he had seen a mirage, but she was still there. He studied her carefully in case she might be one, so he would not forget a detail. Do not be a dolt. She is a real woman and is still standing there. Ignoring you! The captain of the ship. He cleared his throat. “I hope you continue to enjoy the evening, madam.” He turned and left in haste without looking back.
