PHANTOMS & MONSTERS NEWS: Why Is JOHN VENTRE Still Associated With MUFON PA?
Why Is JOHN VENTRE Still Associated With MUFON PA?
By Tanner F. Boyle: John Ventre is the former State Director of MUFON for Pennsylvania—former being the operative word here. Ventre received nationwide coverage in 2018 when a particularly racist Facebook post prompted a sizeable exodus from the UFO research organization, one in which he decried Netflix airing a show “that promotes white genocide.” He included racist modes of thinking in his post that I was previously unfamiliar with, imploring readers to: “Google serotonin by race, IQ by race and violent crime by race and then compare that to the F’ing (sic) message the media portrays.”
As my late friend Jimmy Falun Gong would say, Ventre is damn near to the point of “busting out the calipers” when it comes to his nonsensical racism. Despite this history, John Ventre remains the main player and organizer for this MUFON chapter’s annual conference—much to the bafflement of some on Twitter. I have heard through the grapevine that he gives the organization too much money to be phased out completely, even though he was responsible for “a wave of researchers (…) distancing themselves” from MUFON. Continue reading Fear and Loathing at MUFON PA

On May 25, 2017, I posted the following information, which was picked up by the national media, leading the a lot of questions concerning MUFON and the organization's views:
MUFON's Most Recent Scandal...Racism!
Jan Harzan's statement
This post is for those readers who are not familiar with the recent scandal at MUFON. The following update is provided by Karyn Dolan:
Update on the MUFON scandal, since it's all over Facebook but I've seen several questions about it from people who are just now hearing about it. I'm not interested in trying to "take down" an organization or an individual. My stance on this is simply that someone made some incredibly harshly racist statements, and I was moved to object to them. The original post was saved as a screenshot and shared by several people including Lon Strickler, Anthony F. Sanchez, Ryan Sprague, and Mike Chalero.
A lot of other people objected, too, and several days after being notified of the situation, MUFON issued a formal statement disavowing any responsibility for anything "volunteers" post on their social media, and calling those who objected, "haters."
For the record, the person who made the objectionable statements is not just a volunteer, but a state director. And quite a few people, including myself, bristled at being called "haters" for objecting to viciously racist and ignorant comments. Those of us who were first to post have been dubbed "snowflakes" and "the gang of six." (Which, btw, is arguably the coolest thing I've ever been called. Hey Mom, I'm in a gang now!)
Now some heavy hitters in the field are beginning to weigh in. Nick Redfern and Kathleen Marden have posted today about the issue. And today, MUFON's official statement, and all comments on it, have been removed from the MUFON website.
Once again, I'm not interested in taking down any individual or organization. But I can't sit by and watch hatred being spread, without at least pointing out the factual errors in the arguments in the hope of bringing some semblance of reason to a discussion.
I'm not a member of MUFON, never have been, and probably never will be. It's up to members and potential members to decide whether they want to pay membership fees to this organization, and how they feel about what choices the organization makes.
It does seem that MUFON is at a turning point. If you feel strongly about this issue, whether you agree with MUFON or not, please do contact the organization at www.mufon.com and let them know your thoughts. Karyn Dolan
As of today, several high-profile members and state directors have resigned based on the original post and subsequent statements made by MUFON. Stay tuned...Lon

UPDATE: From Race Hobbs, Program Director of the KGRA Digital Broadcasting Station - www.kgraradio.com:
As of 9am CST this morning, with a heavy heart, I have made the decision, after 10 years of service to the organization of MUFON, I have tendered my resignation.
It is my intent to express my appreciation and admiration for the MUFON organization, and for the fine people involved; many of whom I have truly cherished working alongside over the years.
However, it is my feeling that MUFON leadership has shown a lack of proactive engagement regarding a recent incident involving Pennsylvania State Director John Ventre, and his personal views as expressed via social media. Ventre’s sentiments do not, and cannot be allowed to be misconstrued as representative of this organization, due to a fundamental lack of action on part of its leaders.
This is my sole reason for choosing to leave MUFON, and I remain indebted for the experience and opportunities I have been afforded during my period of membership. Race Hobbs
NOTE: MUFON UFO Radio has been removed from the KGRA Roster and they have just been notified.
UPDATE: There has been word that JV has been or will be removed as MUFON State Director today, but there is no official statement to my knowledge. But, it appears that he will continue as a member of the organization. In fact, the PA MUFON website states that JV is now PA MUFON Treasurer and Conference Coordinator. In other words, JV is still running PA MUFON, without the title. My blog post from today will remain. My readers are entitled to the information and actions of the past 10 days.
There has been a lot of pressure applied to the leadership of the organization, including the withdrawal of membership by several key members and contributors. I congratulate those who had the courage and the fortitude to stand up against racism and institutional bias towards others. Your level of dignity has been recognized throughout the UFO and paranormal community. Lon

WENDIGO MYTHOLOGY - WHAT ARE THEY? | Join Us For LIVE CHAT | Questions & Answers #Wendigo #Cannibal
The wendigo has been misappropriated from its original context in Algonquin folklore. The word "Wendigo" roughly means “The Evil Spirit Who Devours Mankind.” Originally it was depicted as a cannibal ice giant and cautionary tale relevant to the realities of Algonquin life. Euro-American popular culture mutilated it into what may only be described as a "zombie-were-deer."
First, the Algonquin monster has relevance to their traditional way of life. Their culture was reliant on teamwork, so selfishness is a deadly sin to them, and the wendigo is the ultimate embodiment of that.
Secondly, wendigo psychosis is a real mental illness and was historically used as a justification to destroy the Algonquin culture. There are written accounts in the last two centuries of people suffering from this illness being murdered by their peers.
So then, how was the Wendigo tale altered? This goes back over a century to Algernon Blackwood's story "The Wendigo." The story does not depict a Wendigo but seems to get it confused with the Inuit (not Algonquin) creature Ijiraq and possibly the Tariaksuq. In the story, the monster burns away a victim's feet with friction, while in myth the Ijiraq is sometimes described as stripping the flesh off its victim's shins and if it survives then it becomes a faster runner. The Ijiraq is otherwise described as a trickster who kidnaps children or lures hunters by pretending to be caribou. So, it is easy to assume Blackwood read about the Ijiraq and then twisted the details for his own story.
Now Euro-American popular culture takes the name of an Algonquin cannibal ice giant and applies it to a zombie-were-deer; it has been utterly stripped of its original context and symbolism. I doubt there will ever be much push-back against the zombie-wear-deer version since it has been burned into popular culture at this point.
Now, that being stated, I'm going to present several modern-day accounts that some of the witnesses described as the ‘Wendigo.' Then you can determine what the creature in the report is. Is it an original folktale of the cannibal ice giant or something a bit more contemporary?

Archive: FLOATING 'INSECTOID' PHOTO - July 2017 - Nashville, Tennessee

I received the following information:
From the eyewitness:
"Out of tens of thousands of sky pictures I have taken in the past seven years, July 16, 2017 marked the day that revealed the most bizarre and puzzling image that has ever come across my camera lens."
"I have been photographing daytime UFOs for the past seven years. When I go out, I take between 800 and 1,500 pictures at one time. My success rate average is around one keeper out of 1,000 photographs, and many times I don't even get that. Other times, I may be fortunate to get two, or even three keepers out of a thousand photos taken, but that is quite rare. The UFOs are extremely fast and quite impossible to see with the naked eye. However, when I download the pictures to my computer, I readily, and at times painstakingly view each photo. I've gotten some especially interesting pictures of various UFOs (craft) this way. Another method I use is to video-tape the open sky while zooming in (as I do with the photos), and I usually film for around sixty seconds. I then download the videos to my computer and play them back in the slowest motion possible. This method is successful also, but again is very time consuming, and requires a lot of patience. In my opinion, this is the only way to film UFOs and obtain reliable results. Any other way amounts to a waiting game of pure luck.
On Sunday, July 16, 2017, I was at my favorite park, just outside of Nashville, TN, filming a few sixty-second videos of open skies, while zooming in, maybe 40X. When reviewing the videos on my computer, I saw something that I have never encountered before. In the past I have filmed metallic craft, possible biological craft, and just plain strange sky anomalies, but nothing compares to the “strangeness” of what I captured on video that day! The only term I can use to even remotely describe what sped across my camera lens is ... “a "flying humanoid?" Up until this time, I had never even dabbled in this type of phenomenon; I stuck strictly to pursuing UFOs as my focal point, even though I am a firm believer in the limitlessness of the skies and what they may contain.
I have searched through many images on the Internet, and have not really seen anything that matches my picture in a satisfactory way. And to be honest, I even briefly entertained the possibility of it being an out-of-focused bird of some type, which of course will be the conclusion from the naysayers. After examining it in numerous ways, I must interpret it as something very mystical and incomprehensible to the norm of the third dimensional world. It came in to my camera lens in an upright manner, as you see in the photo, and sped horizontally from left to right in less than a second. I cannot estimate its size nor its altitude, since I zoomed strictly into the blue sky with no scenery markers for possible ratio comparison.
I don't believe in being dishonest and faking photographs, or anything of that nature." Dan in Nashville, TN

Military Personnel BIGFOOT REPORTS at Quantico Marine Base, Virginia

In 1977, a series of sightings of large 'brown things' were reported by military personnel at the Quantico Marine Base in Northern Virginia:

Quantico, Va. (API) – Some Marine sentry’s standing guard here late at night are seeing some strange sights and hearing strange sounds. Is it a “Bigfoot?” Well, that’s what some of them think.
The “thing” has made its presence known in the dark shadows of a tree line outside an ammunition storage area at the Quantico Marine Base in northern Virginia, said Sgt. Alan Pultz of base’s public information office. Marines who have seen or heard it have dubbed it the “Asa Monster.”
A few Marines claim to have seen “brown things” walking on two legs. Others say they have heard strange shrieking screams, and some claim they’ve heard something climbing a fence.
“I remember the night I saw it very well,” said a Marine who asked that his name not be used. “It was about 2 a.m., I was walking my post when I heard something in the woods. I stopped and looked in the direction of the noise.
I could see a dark figure beyond the fence just in front of the tree line, so I shined my flashlight at it. I couldn’t believe what I saw. It was some type of creature that looked like a cross between an ape and a bear”.
“The first thing I noticed was its large glaring eyes. Then I noticed it had arms and was covered with dark brown hair.”
The Marine said he went for help but when he and the sergeant of the guard searched the area, “we found nothing except some very large tracks with a pattern that resembled those of a dog.”
He estimated that the creature was between 6 and 8 feet tall and resembled an artist’s conception of a “Sasquatch” or “Bigfoot”.
Noises heard by Marine sentry’s usually occur in the summer, said St. Kris N. Stolpa, sergeant of the guard of the physical security platoon.
He said the noises have developed a pattern. “Occurring between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., the noises will be there for two days and then go away for two days, in a continuous cycle.”
Stolpa said one night one of his men reported a loud screaming noise but when he investigated, he heard nothing until nearly a half hour later. “It sounded as if someone were being mutilated.”
Many of the Marines who claim they have heard strange noises are hesitant to believe there is no logical explanation for them. They believe the noises must be coming from housing or recreation areas, although they are some distance away, Pultz said.

CRYPTID CANINE & ORBS: Camper's STRANGE ENCOUNTERS at LAKE PETENWELL, WISCONSIN

Here are two strange camping experiences from Lake Petenwell, Wisconsin. The first involves a huge orb in the woods and the other describes a white cryptid canine encounter.
"I used to go camping at Lake Petenwell, Adam's County, Wisconsin campground every year. One year, probably about 1988,, a younger sister, 2 cousins, and I went for a walk after dark, maybe about 10 pm. We were young. My cousin and I were 9 years old and the other 2 were 8.
There were some dirt walking trails in the woods around the campground. It was near the lake and two trails intersected with I little clearing maybe 6 feet on the sides of the trails. We could see a pontoon boat filled with people. Our young dumb selves figured they were a search party looking for someone, maybe even us because we were not supposed to be away from camp that late. I now know it was just people having a good time.
As we were watching them, looking down the path going towards the lake, staying out of sight, a light orb came from through the woods right to us. We were frozen in place. It was bigger than a softball and smaller than a basketball. It came in circled us twice, probably 8 feet off the ground, and left. The whole thing was maybe10 seconds long. I can remember it so vividly like it happened yesterday." F
I received the following several years ago:
Hi, just read your Wisconsin area story. I have a place in Adams County, Wisconsin by Lake Petenwell. It is a campsite of 5 acres. I was partying out there with 3 people around midnight two years ago. We had the stereo cranked up when something started to grunt/growl louder than the radio just out of sight behind a 35-foot camper. It repeated the sounds 3 times. I was ready to run for my life! I got to the stereo and turned it off but did not hear a thing after that. I had my spotlight and could not see or hear anything move away either. it sounded similar to an extremely loud bull snort mixed with a deep growl similar to the werewolf sound in the movies. It was so loud that even the people in the camper heard it! Just before this happened the whipperwills were going nuts.
We no longer walk alone on the trails at night, only riding golf carts or STVs on the trails after dark. Then last year we had another incident. We went out for a cart ride and heard a loud bark. I thought it was the neighbor's dog, but no! It was a white wolf! It seemed aggressive with no fear and was circling the camper with 1 other dog. I have hunted at night and lived here my whole life and never heard anything like this first encounter. It has changed all of us for life! There is definitely something unexplained out there!
NOTE: I tend to agree, there is definitely something out there! I have heard of other unexplained experiences in the area around Lake Petenwell. on

'SHADOW BOY' in Dark Alley Horrifies Teen

A North Las Vegas teen walks home at night when he encounters a child-like 'shadow being' running toward him. The witness ran home in horror, never forgetting the experience.
The following account was forwarded to me by my friends & colleagues Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:
"I'd say this happened close to 12 years ago when I was about 16 years old living in North Las Vegas.
To this day, I've never had such a thing happen to me again. But it's a moment that I will never forget and I figured I'd share it with you and the other listeners. I'd like to add that I'm somewhat of a healthy skeptic and not really religious though I am open to the idea of higher powers, anomalies, etc.
My older brother and I were at a house party and when the time came for my brother to leave I insisted on staying, knowing that I'd have to walk home eventually since he was my ride. But mind you we didn't live very far maybe a mile or two.
Fast forward to me leaving and I was on my way home. I had a nice buzz but I definitely wasn't impaired to the point of having my vision or motor functions affected in any way that I can blame that is.
The streets were wide and almost no cars to be seen, I know as a woman it's different but as a guy, I actually took comfort in cars passing at this time because of that small window. If that makes sense, I felt I wasn't alone walking when they were passing. The journey was eerie but I made it to the entrance of my neighborhood, Unfortunately, my house was basically at the opposite end of this winding road yet still a straight shot so I had just a little ways to go, but nonetheless, I knew these streets and safety was on the horizon.
The houses are fairly sized and as I'm walking down the sidewalk, between each house theirs basically an alleyway of darkness. In the day it would be a walking path perhaps to the backyards with you know, electric meters on the walls of the house and AC units. Anyways at night, these alleys are almost pitch black when you look far enough.
As I'm walking down the sidewalk I can't help but glare in between each house and start getting in my head and tripping myself out from my imagination. I try to slow my roll mentally since I am alone and stay on route. No cars have passed in a while thus no comfort. I continue like this down the street until my house is finally in sight down the way. Obviously, I felt a bit better with my destination in view. Then a car comes north from the direction of my house and I'm on the right-hand sidewalk with the road to my left so I thought, 'Sweet.' Another human to see me home be it for just a moment.
It was when this car passed me and after the flash of the headlights, I saw what I saw. Already looking towards the street after the car passed on my left something grabbed my attention in the corner of my eye crossing the street towards me. The street lights were those yellowish ones so the street was lit just enough.
At first, I thought it was a dog so I glanced directly at it. And what I saw initially, if I had to describe it, was what almost seemed to be a black silhouette of a little boy trotting towards me. I don't know if you saw those typical little statues of toddlers like in a garden section of a store, curly hair and all on a swing or whatnot. But if I had to describe the black silhouette it resembled that little boy.
I'm an avid gamer so I'd assume I know when to lock in. So when this thing caught my eye I raised a brow after the car passed. It was when I did a double-take to confirm, that is when I freaked. I remember turning directly towards it, after the glare of the headlights. For but just a second or two, enough for me to analyze, there it was a shadowy little boy trotting towards me with no features, around 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall. The moment, and I mean the moment, I consciously accepted this was happening I gasped, already turning my body, and yelled as I took off a full sprint toward my house. I kid you not, it felt like I was passing a house every two strides. I never ran so fast in my life.
As I was running, trying to collect myself, I literally reminded myself what I was running from mid-run and yelled again and turned on the turbo. I just felt like it was right behind me up until this point. I was already running as fast as I could but my survival instincts said otherwise. I never looked back once. I ran all the way to my house and, thank god, they left the front door open for me. I slammed the door behind me. And there was my dad and brother, still awake reclined and watching TV.
I'll be 29 this August, yet I remember this night vividly. Gives me chills recalling this moment."

PHANTOMS & MONSTERS NEWS: BABY ALIEN Found In Cave? - BABA VANDA'S 2024 Prediction Coming True? - DoD Releases 'KONA BLUE' Documents
BABY ALIEN Found In Cave?
An explorer has made an out-of-this-world discovery after finding a mysterious “baby alien” skeleton deep inside a dark and dirty cave.
Edu Survivencia made the fascinating find but has kept it in a box ever since after claiming "it isn't human" and is far too terrifying to touch.

Edu went to explore the protected area of Cerro de las Mitras just outside Monterrey, Mexico when he stumbled upon an eerie network of caves.
When Edu went deep inside the hollow spaces he came across one particularly chilling discovery - a so-called mummified baby alien.
He said: “I was well hidden. In the cave, it was dark and very dirty and I didn’t think about it too much at that moment.
“I now keep it in a box and I don’t dare touch it without gloves.” Continue reading at Explorer finds terrifying ‘baby alien’ skeleton inside cave & now keeps it in a box as he’s ‘terrified of touching it’

BABA VANDA'S 2024 Prediction Coming True?
The world-famous blind mystic made a great number of chilling predictions about the future before her death.
Born in Bulgaria in 1911, Baba Vanga spent most of her life in the Kozhuh mountains and was renowned the world over for her prophetic predictions about the future.

While a great deal of skepticism has always surrounded the accuracy of these predictions, many people remain adamant that she had successfully foretold a wide range of major global events.
Even though she died back in 1996 at the age of 85, her predictions are still referenced and scrutinized for indications of what might come to pass shortly.
There are some, in fact, who believe that her predictions for 2024 may have already come true. Continue reading at Have Baba Vanga's predictions for 2024 already come true?

YOWIES ARE SUPERNATURAL! Witness Observes Shapeshifting & Disappearance!

An Indigenous Australian woman recalls her encounter with a Yowie while walking with friends. The creature transformed into a smaller upright being, and then it soon vanished.
I received the following account:
"G'day. I’m an Indigenous Australian, female, and 38 years old. Due to colonisation I’m obviously not what one would consider a ‘full blood’, but nevertheless I identify as Indigenous. I grew up hearing stories about Yowies and Hairy Men. Yowies are small Meerkat-type creatures and Hairy Men are what would be considered a Sasquatch-type creature.
When I was 17 years old my cousins, of similar ages, and I would go and spend holidays with family in a town with a large population of Indigenous people. Not gonna lie, we were there for the boys.
This one particular Summer night we had decided to walk into town. Where our family lived was maybe 2-3 kilometres out of town, but the road was a highway that was lit all the way and had a cemented path all the way from town which ran alongside a cleared field. The grass wasn’t mowed but it wasn’t what you would say was overgrown. Just at that in-between stage of being mowed a few weeks back.
So we started our trek home at about midnight that night. There were four of us girls. Two in front and two in back. We got about 100 metres out of town when my cousin (the front pair) looked up and noticed what looked like a large man with a long black coat and hat, walking towards us about 150 metres ahead. Now the path like I said was a straight shot with street lights the whole way along. We hadn’t been drinking or smoking anything.
We paused and were like “Who’s that?” We stood there debating whether or not to continue. The whole time I didn’t take my eyes off this ‘person.’ As my cousins glanced back and forth during the debate, we all stopped talking once we noticed that this ‘man’ had all of a sudden turned into a type of haze/fog. Picture it like someone blurring out a person in a photograph, like it was out of focus but everything around was clear as day. All of a sudden this ‘man’ was now a little creature, it was hard to estimate its size but I thought it was similar to a meerkat or a large rabbit up on its hind legs. It was looking straight in our direction, then after 5-10 seconds it hazed over again and completely disappeared.
We all saw it. And we all still talk about it to this day. I’m pretty confident that it was a Yowie/Little Hairy Man. There are different theories in the Indigenous community about them. Some believe they live under river beds, and some think they live inside cattle. Some people say they lure little kids away into the bush.
It should also be said that I’m a fairly pessimistic type of person. Up until this point I had never really had anything like this happen to me before." H

TALL, PALE HUMANOID Observed by Several Witnesses at Northern Wisconsin Retreat Camp

A group of friends at a retreat camp in northern Wisconsin encounter a tall, pale humanoid while walking back to their cabin. Apparently, other campers and staff saw the being as well.
I received the following account:
"Hello. On the last day of my camp retreat in northern Wisconsin in Taylor County, me and my friend were walking up to our cabin to get our sweatshirts because it was chilly. My cabin is in the middle of two other cabins next to the woods. It is a public campsite and people come and go as they please. The woods we are next to go on for miles and miles and no people are living in there as far as anyone knows.
So me and my friends proceed to the cabin while the rest of the campers and staff are walking back from night games. When we reach the top of the hill we take our flashlights out to see where our cabin is. When I reach for the handle of our door, my friend says "Hey! That looks like a guy..." while pointing to the woods. I turned to see that there indeed was something that looked like a person. We chuckle, thinking it's part of a tree, but we start to notice that it is a humanoid figure watching us. Its height was abnormal, maybe 6 or 7 feet tall, it had long human-like arms, its body was greyish, and its neck was white.
We look at each other, shocked, and start to back up slowly while still shining the flashlight on the creature. The creature slowly raised its arm and moved toward us and that's when we booked it down the hill.
Later on that night, the staff patrolled to make sure nothing else happened around the campus. They came back to our cabin while I was calming down my friend and told us that they saw some movement near our cabins, but he couldn't tell what it was.
That night still haunts me to this day. Before the retreat, my brother noticed something peeking through the main cabin window, but before he could get a good look at it, it backed into the darkness. He only got to see its eyes and they were far from human. My brother's close friend even heard something trying to mimic the bullfrogs while he was in the porta-potty, and when it showed up, all the birds and frogs went silent.
On the first day of our retreat, me and my brother also heard a loud dog-like growl. No one on this earth can make a sound as real as what we heard and no dogs to be seen anywhere. I indeed am a Christian so it could be a demon, but I'm still wondering what this thing is." J

'CENTIPEDE' HUMANOID Encountered on Brazilian Beach at Night!

A Brazilian boy and his family are on vacation at the beach. One night, the child makes his way to another beach looking for his mother. What he finds is beyond belief!
The following account was forwarded to me:
"It was the third day of February 2012, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande. My sisters, my mother, and I went to have some fun on a beach very far from our home. Our mother had rented the house of a friend for a few days which we used while going to and coming back from the beach.
It was one of those very dirty beaches where trash was dumped all around and not that many people were going to it, but for us, it was very fun. I even remember joking with my sister that there are probably sharks on this beach. It was pretty hot too, and I have the skin of a vampire, so after the first day on the beach, I was looking like Mr. Crabs and I had to stay in that house while they went to have fun, which for me was ok. I’m kind of introverted anyway…
One day, my mother and my sisters except for the youngest one, all had to go to some specific place. One went to color their nails, the other went to have a massage, two decided to back to the beach and my mom was going to go to a club with her friends. My young sis went to sleep and basically, it was just me in this two-floor house which was way bigger than the home I was raised in. The place was kinda creepy and it did not help that the moon that night was full.
I was a young and stupid child who was scared by the creepy night and also full of energy. So I jumped over the fence of our house by climbing over it. My thoughts at the time were stupid, I was going to look for my mom. I did that without thinking about stuff like the possibility of me getting kidnapped or killed by some robber. This was Brazil, after all, street crime is high as hell here.
Anyway, I walked a little bit around the town but then realized I was lost. I was utterly overwhelmed by the same modern buildings and I had no idea of where I was. I also had no idea where my mom was. I knew where she went but I did not know where that was.
After the fear of being lost fully took over, I decided to give up and go back to the house. But I didn't know where the house was so I walked around. There were very few people at night and I was just too anxiety-filled to ask any who I saw for directions. Eventually, the road mixed with this path of dirt. It sort of looked like the path in front of the house, so I thought I was in the right direction.
So I walked and I found a beach. Not the beach where I went with my sisters but a beach, but little me did not know that. So I ran to the beach because I thought that I could find two of my sisters there and they could bring me back home.
However, they were not on the beach but something else was.
This beach had those rocks leading up to outside the water, you know those spiked rocks that normally sink ships. One of them was all the way into the sand, I kept seeing something moving beside it from the corner of my vision, so I just looked at the rock. Then something came out from beside the rock. This thing seemed to be the size of an adult man to me. it stood straight, it had legs and feet, but it wasn’t human and the biggest proof was the left arm.
You know centipedes, those black things with a thousand legs? His left arm was like it, the thing extended to the ground and it moved like it had a life of its own. I could see all the little legs moving. The whole body was weird, not just the centipede arm. You know that green guy from 'Nightmare Before Christmas?' This man was kind of like that but made of skin and with an egg-shaped head.
I don’t know what the ‘man’ did after he saw me because after seeing him in the clear moonlight with the ocean backdrop, I was absolutely terrified and I just straight up bolted. I ran away as far as I could from that beach, without looking back.
Eventually, while running in the path of dirt, one of my sisters found me; it looked like they had been looking for me for a while. Once we got to the house, I got scolded by my mother who was angry as a devil with me for running away. She thought I would get kidnapped or something.
I did tell this story to my sisters. Obviously, they found it to be unbelievable. In fact, the only one that believes in it is the youngest but she also believes in all that witchcraft stuff, so I guess her belief is already wonky.
To be clear with you, I don’t believe in the supernatural, like Werewolves, Bigfoot, Greys, and all that. I think all of it is a conspiracy theory and stupid beliefs based on zero proof, but to this day I believe that man-thing to be real.
The memory still is very vivid in my mind." L

WELL-DEFINED 'SHADOW BEING' Leaves Burnt Handprint on Refrigerator

A girl uses the bathroom at night but soon realizes that a shadow being is watching her. Terrified, she feels the entity pulling at her blanket as she remains underneath it.
The following account was forwarded to me by my friends & colleagues Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:
"I have wanted to share my story for a while, and finally am. I will tell this story at my dad’s house, as my parents are divorced. It was around 4 am, and I had woken up to use the restroom. For some context, I was sharing a room with my sister and stepbrother. My sister and I were using a bunk bed, and I had the top bunk, and our beds were straight across from the door. Anyway, I climbed down and walked down the hall to the restroom. Now I admit, I was scared as I had been watching quite a few scary movies, which many people tell me is why I saw what I saw, but I assure you, this was real, and I wasn’t imagining it.
So I use the restroom and wash my hands. I was a bit scared to flush the toilet, so I brushed my hair. I then flush the toilet and exit the bathroom. Now, the way the house is set up is that the right side of the hall sticks out longer than the left. On the left side, the shorter wall has the kitchen, the first thing being the fridge. Then, on the right side, it sticks out longer because the bathroom is right there. At the time, my room was the first door on the right down the hall. From the hall’s view, you can see the living room, where one lamp was lit, and there was no other light.
So anyway, I flush the toilet and walk out, but no one is there. No one was even awake; my dad and stepmom were asleep in their room, and my other siblings were asleep. So I turn and start walking down the hall. I suddenly felt this overwhelming fear, and I don’t know what made me want to turn around. So I stop in the hallways and slowly turn my head back. I saw a very tall and large black figure peering from behind the left side of the wall. The living room lamp lit the living room up quite a bit, so it was nowhere near dark. But this black figure was distinct and watching me from behind the wall. I could see the shape of its head and shoulders, more one shoulder than the other. It had no hair or face; it was just a black void with a profile. It was the most fear I have ever felt in my life. I immediately ran to my room. Now, at the time, I wasn’t thinking it was a shadow figure or anything of the sort; I was more thinking it was an intruder.
So I ran into my room and desperately tried to get onto my bed, but I couldn’t find the ladder to get up. I finally found it and climbed as fast as I could, and I got under my blanket. I remember my exact position. I was slanted, and my feet were crossed. I had my hand, which was holding the blanket up to the top of my forehead. I remember praying and asking for protection over everyone. The odd thing was I remember saying it, never he, even though I thought it was an intruder. My blanket was tucked in on every corner, and the left side of my bed was against the wall. But I know for a fact my blanket was tucked in.
But as I’m lying there and praying, my heart pounding out of my chest, I feel a tug at the very bottom right corner of my blanket. My heart stopped; I literally froze and completely stopped breathing. All the logical thoughts then rushed in, “It’s just me moving or me breathing.” So, to test it, I hold my breath and am as still as possible. A tug happens again, only this time higher. I then start to panic and have so many thoughts at once. Time was passing so slowly that it felt like 30 minutes had gone by when, in reality, it had only been a couple of minutes at most. My blanket got tugged 4 or 5 times, each higher than the last. I remember thinking about whether I should call my sister or not. I thought, “It would know I’m here if I call for her,” then thinking, “Well, it already knows I’m here.” I thought this repeatedly, and it was like my thoughts were getting louder and louder. I decided to do it. I started calling her name in a shallow whisper and gradually started screaming her name. I was petrified of this thing I saw in the hall, and it was now pulling at my bed sheets. She runs and turns on the light. I didn’t even move; all I did was stick my hand out and cry as she held my hand.
When I finally looked, there was no one there. I told everyone what happened, but no one believed me; even now, only some do. Something even more odd to add was that there was a handprint of a left hand on the right side of the fridge door, which is how someone would be standing to peek out into the hall. It was too small for anyone in the house’s handprint, which was weird considering how tall and large the figure looked. The image of the figure is burned into my mind. I will forever remember that moment, and it was that moment that led me to believe in the paranormal. Thank you, guys, for reading my story, and I hope you have a great rest of your day."
