Bigfoot Pair Cross Road Near Crane Lake, Minnesota

A Minnesota woman and her daughter are shocked when a pair of 7 ft. Bigfoot cross in front of them while driving on a rural road

"Hello Sir - I am writing to you about an incident my daughter and I had in early April (2012) near Crane Lake, Minnesota. We were on our way home and traveling south on Crane Lake Road only a few miles from the lodge we had stayed the weekend. As we drove around a wide bend in the road we noticed two tall dark creatures walk out of the forest to my left. I slammed the brakes and stopped about 30 feet from them. They seemed oblivious to us as they walked onto the road and barely gave us a glance. They crossed in front of the car and leaped over a ditch then into the forest. I quickly hit the gas pedal and drove for about a quarter mile. I then pulled over to collect myself. My daughter, who is 15, was sitting with a shocked look and not moving. My heart was racing and I was shaking uncontrollably.

I think we sat there without saying a word to each other for over a minute. I then asked my daughter what she thought those creatures were. Immediately she said that we had seen 'Bigfoot'.

Both creatures were about 7 foot tall and massively built. I was surprised by the amount of dark reddish hair they both had and how proportionate their bodies were to humans. I saw the face of one of the creatures briefly as it glanced at us. The nose was very broad but the rest of the face was similar to those you see on TV that are supposed to be cavemen. They walked upright like humans and didn't slouch. I believe they were both male.

I have lived in Minnesota (in St. Cloud) all my life and I never heard of anyone seeing a 'Bigfoot.' My daughter is convinced that these creatures were 'Bigfoot'. We looked online and found your website.

Have there been sightings in the Crane Lake area previously? I called the lodge where we stayed and the woman who answered said that there had been a few sightings in the area over the years but nothing that close to their location. I'd be interested to know what it was we saw. I can't believe that there are not more reports of these creatures. Thanks for reading." MM

NOTE: I contacted the witness by email. She replied that I could post her report minus any personal information. She added that her daughter has had nightmares since the encounter (about a week previous to writing me) and that they have not mentioned the incident to anyone else other than the woman at the lodge. I told the witness that these encounters are something that you never forget (from personal knowledge). I sincerely hope her daughter's nightmares subside, though I have known of some witnesses who suffer PTSD long after these close encounters. I didn't get a time but they had just checked out so I assume it sometime was during the morning.

I also contacted the lodge where MM and her daughter stayed this past weekend. I talked to a very nice lady who asked me to talk to someone who knew the area better than her. Another woman got on the telephone and asked me to call her back at another number. Well, we played 'phone tag' for most of the afternoon (seems like it's busy at the lodge) but finally she was able to talk.

I inquired about Bigfoot sightings in the area. She said that there had been several reports north of their location in Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park and that there had been an expedition near Voyageurs National Park in the summer of 2011. She said several of the people in the expedition party had stayed at their lodge. I gave her my contact number / email and asked that she contact me if other information became available. Lon

'Nightcrawler' or First Nations Legendary Creature Encounter in British Columbia

An eyewitness recounts a strange encounter with a tall white being in a British Columbia forest. Is it a legendary creature known by the First Nations people or something else?

"I just saw your post about the drumming ceremony and the Glimmer Man. My friend and I had an encounter with a tall white being in his backyard (5 acre forest) and it still scares me to this day. It was swaying silently back and forth and I felt like I was going to die. I showed someone who is First Nations my experience and my drawing and they told me the name of what they call them. I did some research and it turns out several different First Nations cultures have names for these beings. I strongly believe these people witnessed the same thing especially because it took place during a 'Drumming ceremony.' This is the first time I have read anything that has come close to what me and my friend saw and I strongly believe they saw the same being or a variation of it. Please forward my email address and my experience to the person that gave you this sighting as I would like to speak with them."

"Entered my friends backyard 5 acre forest at night close to 1 am and both of us immediately saw something out of place down the path below about 30-40 feet away from us in between the trees that was tall and white. It appeared to be completely white and soft like light, but it did not illuminate the trees or ground around it. There was no face or any facial features we could see, no arms and it was shaped in a upside down V or U. It was making creepy swaying movements with its (whole body) two legs left to right back and forth silently still standing on the forest floor in the exact same spot the whole time we saw it. It was so white that you could see the shadow being cast on while it was swaying. It did not pick up its legs or walk at all. I can only explain it as looking like 7-8 foot really white, soft, shiny separated curtains in the shape of a upside down V or U with bulkiness/shape to the top moving left to right in a specific motion standing on the forest floor in the same area between the trees making absolutely no sound, and there was absolutely no wind. It was beautiful to look at but terrifying at the same time. We watched it in silence as it was swaying and I started to feel impending doom (the sinking feeling in your chest) "set in" and it felt like I was going to die or something bad was going to happen. I told my friend specifically "I don't like this", he agreed, and we immediately left the forest. We went back in the morning and there was nothing out of the ordinary (Spiderweb, Garbage, etc.) in the spot where we saw the Supernatural Being."

Fortean Feature: Texas 'Gas Plant Humanoid' Photo

In November 2012, a gas plant worker photographed an unknown humanoid wandering about the premises. The local police were called; later mentioning that there had been 26 UFO sightings reported in the area that same night

In March 2013, I received the following information and image from Ken Pfeifer. It was forwarded to Ken by one of his readers...then sent to me so it could be published:

Nov. 2012 - I was working the night shift on an x-ray crew at a material gas plant. This was around 3 am and there was only four of us in the plant at the time. I took this picture after seeing something swaying side to side out of the corner of my eye. I was in the basket of a man lift coming down when I took the picture. By the time I unhooked my harness to get out of the basket the creature was gone. The police were called and walked premises. The officer told me there were 26 UFO sighting calls throughout that night. If you zoom in you can see the silhouettes of eyes and elongated mouth. I have no doubt of what I believed I seen that night. The other person that saw it with me took off running for the truck.

Follow-up received from witness:

You can use my name and the picture was taken near Kenedy, TX. I appreciate the quick reply. The picture was even printed in the local newspaper in Kennedy. I had sent the picture to the officer who came to the plant and assume he sent it to the newspaper.

Later I received the following email (9/23) from another witness:

To the editor - I live near Beeville, Texas and want to report an incident from a few weeks ago. It was about 9:30 PM when I heard 'swishing' sounds coming from outside. I went to the back door in the kitchen and looked out. My yard was illuminated, so I walked outside onto the porch and suddenly noticed a wide disc shaped craft hovering above the house. It was at least 100 ft wide. In an instant I was hit by a beam of light and lifted off the top step of the porch. I was mid-air for almost 20 seconds, then slowly set down by the side of the tool barn. I was very groggy - almost like I was drunk.

I then noticed a figure moving out of a beam of blue light that came directly from below the craft. This figure was about 5 ft tall and looked human - but the extremities and head looked as though it had been burned and charred. It reminded me of a zombie from TV. It moved closer to me - I was literally frozen stiff. As it got closer I became nauseated - it looked awful and had a putrid odor. It backed away as I started to wretch, then vanished into the blue beam of light.

Without hesitation, the craft ascended swiftly - so fast that it created an instant vacuum that dropped me to my knees.

I got to my feet and ran into the house. I was scared and worried something else may happen. Then I noticed the time - it was 10:40 PM. I had lost almost one hour of time. I still don't understand what happened to me or the time. I feel fine but I'm still very concerned. I never believed in UFOs or other weird experiences people have said they had. Now it has happened to me and I have a deep sense of dread.

I talked to my close friend and she told me to search the internet. I don't know if she believed me but she was willing to help. To be frank, I am still concerned about contacting anyone about this.

My friend gave me several contacts to try. I sent emails and filled a few forms. I never heard back from any of them. Then I found the photo of the entity from Kenedy, TX that was posted on your blog. That is what I encountered - I know that it is the same thing or another like it. I can feel it deep inside me. That gas plant in Kenedy is only 20 miles from me!

Just yesterday, there was some talk that weird looking people were seen moving through a local field this past weekend. There was also a series of lights seen above the horizon at the same location. I don't know if this is related.

Can you get back to me? I really need some answers. (Name withheld by request of the witness)

NOTE: I called the witness at her place of business this morning. She hesitantly described the incident and asked if I could answer questions. I don't know if what she witnessed was the same entity from the March 2013 incident in Kenedy, but it's an interesting possibility. The witness lives alone. Her close friend lives nearby, about 1/4 of mile from the witness. I received permission to publish her ordeal in hope of getting others to come forward. The witness is terrified that this entity will return. Because there is an issue of lost time, I mentioned regressive hypnosis...but I don't want to push her too quickly. She doesn't appear to have any ill-effects from the encounter, but I recommended that she closely monitor her health and seek care if anything unusual starts to surface. Sasquatch Exits UFO / Manta Ray Shaped Bio-Form Craft / Reptilian Abduction

3 bizarre accounts involving alien craft. Though brief in content, each report is very similar to others we have read or heard in the past

“There was a flying saucer dumped a Sasquatch out on our family farm in Alabama in 1978. It terrorized our beef steers we had in a feedlot (was feeding them silage.) 400-500 lbs. They kept breaking out every night. We three, my brother, and dad (and I) had to fix the fence every day and then round them all up. We wound up with like 9 strands with a post ever 5 feet. Then, later on, we heard screams in the timber. The swamp area is not far away. We found footprints and was in the paper. With that, later on, someone saw a huge, hairy thing crossing Hwy 43. Then my father said he saw a blue and red craft hovering over the lake behind his house. Weird.” GG

“In 2005, in Florida, it was around 3:00 am. I tried to wake up my neighbors, but I believe the use of low tone humming noise was used on purpose to keep them asleep. This craft was flashing lights underneath, only 1000 feet above, something like a red manta ray 3 feet, came out from it, like something from the 'Abyss' movie, just floating there, staring at me. The only thing I noticed was the cat was looking at it too, from outside for about 5 minutes. Then it went back up to the ship. I believe it was some bio-form being used to reconnaissance an area? Just as the orange orbs or white orbs are but if you come across red orbs. My advice is do not interact with red orbs because those are extremely aggressive! The orange are, I believe, reconnaissance. The white orbs are known to be friendly! Are they all the same? Not sure but I've seen all three of these orbs!” DV

“About four years ago me and my wife were abducted by 7 to 8 foot tall beings wearing dark hooded robes with green scaley three-fingered claws for hands. It occurred at 11:00 pm while wide awake in Texas, from our home. We both appeared on the craft separated, so my wife was walking around looking for me as they were showing me around their huge ship after working on me. There were also a lot of the little grey beings as well acting more as helpers. To me and my wife it was never a big deal because to us it really was no different than meeting foreigners. I actually asked them if I could stay there and my wife got a little angry at me for that.” WP

Bigfoot Encounter During the American Civil War?

Were there reports of Bigfoot encounters during the American Civil War? One Union Private may have had an encounter in Harpers Ferry, according to a letter he had written
How much do we know about early encounters with Bigfoot / Sasquatch? The native people of North America had hairy people legends and many of those traditional tales remain today. When European explorers and hunters arrived on the continent, there were a few accounts of upright hairy beast encounters. The Arkansas Wild Man is one of the best known early Bigfoot sightings.

Below is the original newspaper text:

Wild Man of the Woods

"During March last, Mr. Hamilton of Greene County, Arkansas, while out hunting with an acquaintance, observed a drove of cattle in a state of apparent alarm, evidently pursued by some dreaded enemy.

Halting for the purpose, they soon discovered as the animals fled by them, that they were followed by an animal bearing the unmistakable likeness of humanity.

He was of gigantic stature, the body being covered with hair and the head with long locks of hair that fairly enveloped his neck and shoulders.

The "wildman," for we must so call him, after looking at them deliberately for a short time, turned and ran away with great speed, leaping from twelve to fourteen feet at a time. His foot prints measured thirteen inches each.

This singular creature has long been known traditionally in St. Francis Green and Poinsett Counties.

Arkansas sportsmen and hunters having described him so long as seventeen years hence.

A planter, indeed, saw him very recently, but withheld his information lest he should not be credited, until the account of Mr. Hamilton and his friend placed the existence of the animal beyond cavil."

I then wondered if Bigfoot ever made itself known during the American Civil War? Well there may be, at least, one account available.

In 1999 a collection of autographs and old letters was appraised and authenticated for an estate sale in Hartford, CT. The large horde included several letters written by Union soldiers during the American Civil War. A few of the letters were written by a Private James Moore of the Pennsylvania 67th Infantry Regiment, Company K. The letters were addressed to his wife, Ida Moore of Philadelphia, Pa.

One particular letter described an incident while Pvt. Moore was on guard duty in Harpers Ferry (then part of Virginia). The letter was written on February 26th, 1963. Some of the text had been copied and forwarded to me by the appraiser because of the unusual content. (The auction catalogue did contain the full text, but it was lost in a fire at his home in 2005). Here is what I received:

"...Ramsey and myself were charged to guard Company accoutrements along the railway. Very cold still night...

...the boys started raising a ruckus from the garrison. Some were yelling aloud, that a man-beast was on foot. There was rifle fire towards the river. We continued our duty as the yelling and shots continued...

...the Corporal queried the witnesses from the Company. I was told that the devil raided the food stores after climbing the wall...

...it was covered in thick layers of dark hair...

...maybe 8 foot from head to toe."

That was all that was written, though I was told that some of the original letter sheet had been torn away. Was this a description of a Bigfoot? I wonder if other soldiers, on either side, had encountered hairy hominids, as well as other cryptids and strange beings? Sounds like it would be interesting research. Lon

'Glimmer Man' Appears During Drum Circle in North Dakota

A witness describes the appearance of a 'glimmer man' during a drum circle on the banks of the Missouri River in North Dakota. Some people believe that these are cloaked Bigfoot. What do you think?

"I'm writing you from North Dakota and I was intrigued when I saw the term "glimmer man" on your website. I had a similar encounter two summers ago in the area called Kimball Bottoms or as the locals call it "The Desert." Anyway I was down there at a drum circle they were having and I don't know if it was the drumming that attracted this thing or what. I was facing the water and banks of the Missouri River and it still being light outside (around 7pm in the summer) I could see everything clearly. I thought I saw a heat signature on the opposite bank, like heat rising off a hot parking lot in the summer). This stood out to me as Id been staring in that area.

Anyway, zoning out as I went into an almost trance like state due to the drumming, I started seeing this thing move. I stopped drumming and walked over to the edge of the bank. The more I watched the more I realized that this heat signature looked like it had arms and legs and was like swaying to the drumming still going on behind me. My friend came up and asked what I was looking at and as I pointed it out to her other people from the circle started to notice that we were pointing and staring at something across the river. More people stopped drumming and joined us on the bank. Some could see what we were seeing and others couldn't. Eventually nobody was drumming anymore and this "glimmer man" had stopped swaying and was watching us watch him. More than one person had mentioned that it looked like the invisible (yet visible) alien from the movie "Predator." It was after maybe three mins of watching this "invisible being" (and yes many people tried taking pictures and video of it) only to not see anything when reviewing the images on their phones. Not surprising when you are trying to photograph a nearly invisible heat signature looking thing).

At one point we could see as this thing moved back into the tall reeds and were surprised as the reeds parted. Those who didn't see the being couldn't help but see the reeds part as it moved away. A few of us sat there for a good hour waiting to see if this invisible being came back, but we didn't see anything. However many people freaked themselves out by talking about "where this entity could be?" Was it lurking in the water, walking along the shore, hiding in the trees, etc? I have to agree they all had viable points. It was a very surreal encounter and only deepened my beliefs on things existing in the folds of what we call reality." JJ

Solid 'Shadow Person' Sits Next to Witness For Several Minutes

A young Ohio mother is driving at night, when she notices a solid black shadow person sitting next to her in the passenger seat

"Hello Lon, my name is Amanda and I live in Amelia, Ohio, which is on the outskirts east of Cincinnati with my nine year old. I actually have a couple of ghost experiences to tell you about.

The first sighting happened in Delhi, Ohio, sometime in 2010. I had recently had my baby and was still on maternity leave from the store I worked at. My ex-boyfriend and I used to play computer games together. This particular night, he was upstairs in his home office and I was downstairs in the basement, which was the bottom floor of a split level we lived in with his mother. To give you kind of an idea of the set up, walking in the front door you walk into a wooden floor, with wooden steps one set goes up, the other down. Down the stairs and to the left you walk right into what we used as a bedroom, our infant daughter slept in a smaller room to one side, and the bed that I was sitting on was maybe ten feet from the bottom step.

This particular night I was sitting on the bed with my back to the wall with my laptop in my lap but no headphones. My boyfriend had been upstairs playing on his desktop for most of the night and had gotten into a multiplayer FPS game called Team Fortress 2 and this night was playing a series of rounds. Anyway I was sitting on the bed reading on my computer when I heard, very clearly, the sound of someone stumbling down the stairs. Only the bottom half of the split level stairs, so like, front door landing to the basement floor. My head shot up and I looked directly where the sound had come from. I had a totally unobstructed view and saw nothing. Almost immediately after the stumbling stopped, it sounded like a heavy person fell and I heard a very clear voice. It sounded exactly like my boyfriend, and it sounded like he was hurt or very very sick, and all he said was my name. Shooting out of bed, I tossed my laptop to one side and ran to the stairs. I saw no one and no signs of anyone having been there.

Barefoot I ran up the stairs and into my boyfriend's office, heart racing, breathing heavy. Now I will note here, I was 135 pounds at 5'6" much smaller and faster than my daughter's father who stands at 6'2" 260 lbs. the only sounds I heard after that voice was my own steps going up the stairs. I asked him if he was OK and he looked at me totally bewildered. The screen in front of him showed him in the middle of a payload mission. No pause button works in one of those missions. He was neither out of breath or in any position that showed he'd moved from his position for hours, and at his size he can't move silently through the house. When I finally told him what happened he said he hadn't come downstairs since we put our baby to bed. I know what I heard and it was clear as day to my ears. I hadn't been drinking and I don't do drugs or smoke. SOMETHING stumbled down those stairs. I have since left my daughter's father and moved out on my own with my child.

My next notable sighting was about two years ago. My grandmother lives down State Route 32 in the Mt Orab / Williamsburg area. My now older daughter and I had just visited with Mamaw, and my mother and we were heading back home down Route 32. On this highway there is a stretch of road that is 60 mph. it passes by a factory called Huhtamaki, and around that area its lit with widely space streetlights. It was probably 9 maybe 9:30 at night and I was tired but not overly so. My daughter had fallen asleep in the back and I was listening to music. I flicked my eyes to my rear-view mirror and then my side mirrors, and then I usually look out the passenger side window before turning back to look out the windshield. It was a clear, fairly warm night. I got to the street lit stretch of road and checked my mirrors again, but when I looked toward the passenger's side mirror something dark caught my eye and I looked directly at the seat next to me. In the seat, like someone sitting there next to me was a shadow figure.

I will say now, my brain must not have been firing on all cylinders because I wasn't connecting what I saw very quickly but I looked long enough to see this very solid "person" next to me in my car. Out of habit, I immediately looked out the windshield and then glanced back. This time I was able to see a full profile. The head was bald, and the nose was slightly long. I could see where the lips and chin were, it was a full profile. I can't tell you how much of the figure was there because I was not looking down at the time but there were shoulders and a chest and I saw it at least down the bottom of the stomach in the seat. I remember thinking something is very wrong but my little girl was in the car so I had to continue to keep myself calm. Once again I glanced out the windshield and back again at the figure. This time once I looked back I very clearly saw the profile move, like the head was turning toward me. That's when I noticed the streetlights were being blocked out by the shadow in the seat next to me. We passed about four street lights before I glanced back out my windshield, this time when I looked back it was gone. I drove the rest of the way home in a weirdly calm state, I'm not really sure how I managed. When I got home, I calmly got my daughter ready for bed, fed and gave the cat his insulin, sat on my bed and then had one of the worst panic attacks of my life. Like it all came crashing down on me that. Yes, I absolutely saw what I saw.

Bigfoot Encounters in the American Heartland (Nebraska and Kansas)

2 eyewitness accounts, one in Nebraska and the other in Kansas, are in American Midwest locations not necessarily known for Bigfoot encounters

"I grew up near Niobrara, Nebraska not far from the river. My brother and I were able to do a lot back then. We were outside year around. We really enjoyed fishing in the river for catfish. It was the 1950s and things were different. No one cared much what you did, just so you didn't cause trouble.

We usually fished in the morning and evening during the summer. In June 1959 we planned to hike to an area on Medicine Creek and spend a few nights there. It was about 5 miles from home. The second night we were there, we heard strange screaming sounds coming from one the bluffs west of us. It wasn't like anything else I've ever heard before. We also heard something heavy moving through the brush and trees. I'll admit we were scared. As the night went on, things quieted down.

The next morning I walked towards the bluff while gathering firewood. As I approached a rocky pass I caught a glimpse of something big and hairy running away from me. It wasn't a bear and stood at least 7 ft high. It was huge with a wide back. That was enough for me. I was ready to move camp someplace else.

My brother and I packed up and started back toward the old trail. I guess we had walked about a mile, then stopped to fish at a good spot we knew. We spent most of the day there. Late afternoon we decided to hike back home. I wasn't feeling well anyway.

The area was much different than today. It's part of a state park with lots of roads and camp areas today. Back then it was much more rugged.

It was about 6pm and we were close to the footbridge at the river. My brother suddenly stopped walking and pointed at a clearing at the river bank. He said someone was over there. We stood there for a minute, then this huge hairy creature stood straight up and looked right at us. It let out a loud grunt, swinging it's arm up over it's head. We started running. I don't thing we stopped until we got near the roadway at the end of the trail.

Over the years, we talked about our run in with the creature and we're both sure it was a Bigfoot. I only told a friend about it a few years later, but he thought I was lying to him. We've been back to the same area many times since then and never noticed anything. I contacted the BFRO in the 1990s but they never came out to take a statement.

NOTE: I called Gary, who is 70, the next morning and we discussed the two encounters. I think it may have been the same Bigfoot trailing the brothers. There were no other details available from Gary, who has never heard of another sighting in that part of Nebraska. I checked the database and there isn't much to refer to, other than a sighting in Knox County near Santee in 1979. That was classified as a BFRO Class 'A' report. I forwarded an inquiry to Nebraska Game and Parks about the area of the sighting. BTW, there have been documented Mountain Lion encounters throughout northern Nebraska. Lon

"When I was in high school, my uncle and I would hunt deer and turkey in eastern Kansas. In 1999 we were near the Marais Des Cygnes Refuge bow hunting for deer in a swampy woodland area. We had been in the same location before and familiar with the layout. Both of us had portable tree stands overlooking the bottom land.

We had been in our stands for about an hour, it was early morning but I don't remember the time. My uncle was to the right of me about 50 yards, so we could both see anything moving below. I heard splashing from his direction and notice him waving at me. The splashing was getting louder. I first thought it may be a small herd of deer moving my way. As I looked through the thickets, I noticed something tall and bulky standing beside a tree. I then saw something similar a few feet away from the other figure. I looked over at my uncle. He was crouched down and still. The two figures started to move towards me. Then one worked its way into a clearing and I was able to get a good look. It was definitely a Bigfoot and it was huge. It was around 8 ft tall and covered head to toe in matted muddy dark hair. It was reaching into the water and putting whatever it found in its mouth. I didn't see the other Bigfoot. It must have moved off in the other direction.

I was as still as possible, though I was shaking. This Bigfoot was no more than 100 ft from me though I was 12 foot in the tree. I must have watched it for 10 minutes or so as it waded through the water eating whatever it pulled out. It eventually walked away from us towards the woods on the opposite rise. My uncle and I looked at each other, but didn't make a sound. I was ready to get out of there but he remained in his stand holding his hand palm out to let me know to hang on. I wasn't even thinking about hunting deer any further that day.

About 15-20 minutes had gone by. My uncle started moving off his stand. I did the same, dropping the ladder and climbing down. We walked towards each other and agreed to come back for the stands later. In fact, I didn't go back. That afternoon, my dad and grandfather went back with my uncle to look around and retrieve the stands. Both of them believed we saw the Bigfoot. My grandfather said he believes they were eating freshwater mussels and snails.

I never went back to that area, though I still hunt. That was the only time I have ever seen anything like that. I'd be interested to know of other witness sightings in eastern Kansas and western Missouri. I've heard many stories but nothing recent. Chad"

NOTE: I made contact with Chad the same day I received his account. His story seemed credible and he agreed to let me publish it. He no longer lives in Kansas, but has gone back to hunt for deer and turkey. Lon

Cryptid Winged Being Observed by Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research Investigator (O'Hare International Airport, Chicago)

An investigator, associated with the leading team examining the 'Chicago Mothman' sightings, has his own encounter with the winged humanoid at O'Hare International Airport
Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team investigator Manuel Navarette had an actual sighting of what has been referred to as the 'Chicago Mothman,' or possibly one of a varied group of winged humanoids that have been seen in and around the Chicagoland area. Manuel contacted the team through it's message thread, at which time Tobias Wayland and I both called and talked to Manuel.

The following report is part of the information provided by Tobias at The Singular Fortean Society site:

Navarette has been actively receiving and investigating flying humanoid reports in the Chicago area through his website UFO Clearinghouse for the past several years.

"I was driving to work [on March 3rd, 2020], taking my usual route on Mannheim Road, and I’m talking to my wife on the phone," Navarette said during the interview. "So, I’m talking, and I’m coming up to the [intersection of Mannheim Road and Zemke Boulevard]—on the right side of it is an old Enterprise Rent-A-Car lot that used to be there, but they moved it to the other side of the airport. The building is still there and everything. I’m talking as I pull up to the red light, and I saw what looked like a large, winged being coming in like it was either landing behind the building or landing basically on top of it."

"The reason I say it was landing is because it was coming down, and it looked like it had its chest out with its wings flared up like it was trying to slow down enough to come in for a landing," he explained. "I remember yelling out to my wife ‘What the hell is that?’ She’s like ‘What? What? What?’ I told her what I was seeing. She said it could be a goose, and I said ‘This is way larger than a goose.’ I’ve seen geese. Right now, I see geese all over the place here. There are geese everywhere. They’re migrating."

According to Navarette, he was sitting in the third lane of traffic near the intersection when movement caught his eye. That's when he looked over and saw the creature.

"The street at the traffic stop is five lanes, and it was rush hour, so slamming on the brakes and trying to get a good look was an invitation to get into a wreck," he said. "I found a place to turn around and went back, drove around a few places. I couldn’t get onto their property, because it’s sealed off. It’s an old building, and I guess they’re using it for storage now. At least one of the garages is used for storage of compressors or something, because there was an open garage and I could see inside, and there were mobile compressors. Last thing I needed was to have airport security all over me for trespassing. So I drove around, and at one point there was an opening where I could go in. I went in, took a few pictures, and quickly got out, trying to find this thing, and I wasn’t able to find it."

Navarette said that the creature had "membranous wings" with "no feathers."

"Honestly, this did not look like a goose," he said. "It was brownish/grayish, more on the brownish side, and it didn’t look as big—it’s not like some of the reports we’ve taken since we started investigating—this thing wasn’t six or seven feet tall; it was maybe, at best, four feet tall. The wings were membranous. The only way I can describe them, the only thing I could compare them to, they kind of looked like an imp’s wings. I never got a really good look at the head. The sighting itself only lasted one, maybe two seconds."

"I know it only lasted two seconds, but you’re able to get a lot of information in that two seconds,” he added. “I can honestly tell you that it had no feathers. It looked like it had no feathers on it, just membranous wings. It was far larger than what a Canadian goose is. Its legs were tucked up beneath it, because it looked like it was coming in to land either on top of or behind the building. What I saw was basically the chest and the wings. What I got a good look at was the wings—they were completely outspread. It looked like it was trying to spread itself out so it could slow down for a landing."

Navarette added that he will likely return to the area and continue searching for the creature.

This is the most recently reported sighting in a series of unusual sighting reports that have taken place in the vicinity of O’Hare International Airport.

Humanoids: A Real 'Yoda' Encountered in Georgia

2 teen boys were chasing down rumors of Satan worshipers in rural Georgia, when they encountered something quite unexpected; a real 'Yoda' humanoid!

"Hi. I came across your website and wanted to know if anyone has ever seen a creature which resembles Yoda (from Star Wars). I know it sounds silly but about 20 years ago my friend and I decided to drive out to an area (Highway 27, Hamilton Rd from Columbus, GA towards Hamilton). We were two dumb teenagers at the time who heard a rumor there were Satan worshipers out in the woods. As teenagers do, we decided to investigate it for laughs and have fun scaring ourselves.

We turned down a dirt road and followed it for a while until we wound up driving into a large open grass field. It was very dark out that night and quiet. While we did not see any "satan worshipers," I decided to to try and scare my friend sitting in the passenger seat by placing my car in park in the big open field and I turned off my head lights for only about 10 or 15 seconds which put us in complete darkness. We could not even see each other let alone anything outside the car around us.

I then turned my headlights back on (the car was still running the whole time) and when we looked forward, there standing in front of my car, almost touching the front bumper was a creature to this day we cannot explain.

The creature was about 6 feet tall, had two legs but not human legs. They were bent like an animals hind-legs. From the waste up he literally looked like yoda. Grayish light green in color. Strange long ears. Somewhat flat but scrunched up face. Big round eyes which looked us both in the eyes. The eyes were on the front of the face (not on the side). It was definitely NOT a deer or any other normal animal of the woods. I don't remember seeing arms but it appeared to have two little short skinny arms in the front but I can't be certain. It only stood there for about 5 seconds then turned around and quickly went away into the night.

It didn't have a distinct run or walk or jump. It was somewhere in the middle of run, jump, hop, glide kind of movement when it hurried away. Even that was not a normal movement of any animal or person.

Naturally my friend and I screamed and I threw my car in reverse and raced out of there as fast as I could. We never went back to search for another sighting as one time was good enough for us but I am interested to know if anyone else has experienced the same?" JX

“My brother and I saw a flying humanoid creature gliding above our house towards our front yard right above our tree. Our tree was only about 14 feet high. The body looked muscular almost as a heavy build. The wings were bat shaped. We also noticed the wings had a few tears and the body had short hair, almost a light brown tint. From the height it was flying, it seemed it had to be around 6' to 6'5 feet. The face we couldn't see because it was looking up and forward. My brother and I are not the only ones around the area that have seen the humanoid. Besides this phenomenon, we have also seen paranormal incidents as well as UFO activity. We later found out our property used to be a military base during World War One. I'm not sure if that has to do with anything but of all the things I've seen in including my family and neighbors. “I live in Missouri and I have been seeing a large flying creature and this (Mothman) is the closest thing I have seen to what I've encountered. I haven’t had any car problems but I have had my chickens turn up dead with strange puncture wounds on it. What I've seen is maybe 4 to 5 feet tall and I've seen red eyes on it. I also don’t live near Chicago but from what I've read there has been other sightings near the Ozarks and Branson, all the way down by where I live. What do you guys think? I'm not one to immediately be like, 'Ohhh big ol' bat monster done ate up my chickens' but the only birds I've seen around here big enough for this, don't have forward facing red eyes and don't get that big, to the best of my knowledge.” AB
