9 Ft. Tall Bigfoot Startles Teen While Camping in Western Montana
A teen encounters a 9 foot tall Bigfoot while sleeping under the stars in the deep woods of western Montana during the summer of 1988.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"In the summer of 1988, I was 14 years old visiting my dad. After my parents had separated, my dad decided to live out in a small house in the woods, about a half hour away from Missoula, Montana. Kind of off the grid. This was his dream and he allowed me to experience it with him about every other weekend. We would go hiking, hunting, kayaking, bird watching, you name it. We would sometimes camp out outside in the woods, and that is where I saw it. It was one of those camping trips I went on with my dad, where I not only saw a Bigfoot, but it was terribly close to me.
My dad and I found a spot pretty deep in the brush to set up camp. When night fell, we decided to sleep in our sleeping bags outside to watch the stars. My dad fell asleep pretty quickly, but it was a bit harder for me. I remember trying extremely hard to fall asleep that night, but to be honest, even though by that time I had been in plenty of camping trips with my dad already, I was still pretty freaked out by the forest at night. This fear kept me awake all through the night.
I remember that at a certain point, when I was just starting to finally drift into sleep, I heard something come out of the trees and snapping twigs loudly as it walked on towards us. My dad still was fast asleep, and now I was basically pissing my pants. I thought some strange person was walking on towards our camp site, but as I squinted my eyes open a bit, I could see that only about 10 feet away from me was an enormous, hairy creature that stood and walked on two legs like a human would. Obviously I wanted to scream out in fear but I tried my best to pretend I was asleep in hopes that it would just eventually move along.
I think the creature which I now believe to be a Bigfoot, was attracted to the smell of of the meat my dad had been cooking before. And strangely, it didn’t seem the least bit interested in us. It seemed more interested in just slowly walking around out campsite, presumably looking for some of the food it must’ve thought we had. But I have to tell you, that not only was I scared at the sight of the giant hairy man, but I was also sickened by the pungent and overwhelming odor that the beast was emitting.
Eventually, the Bigfoot seemed to get bored and disappeared into the darkness. I remember trembling in my sleeping bag, and not being able to sleep the rest of the night. I didn’t tell my father about it until he woke up the next morning, because I was afraid if I tried to wake him up during the night, then the creature might see us awake, or even hear us. I was not willing to find out how it would react when it did.
When I told my dad about it, he just told me it was probably a large bear walking around on its hind legs. But when I described to him that the creature was extremely human-like and walked like a person would, he chalked it up to it me just either hallucinating from fear, or that I was not aware that I was dreaming.
To this day I know exactly what I saw. It was about 9 feet tall, with extremely long and matted brown hair all over its body, including the face, which to me, seemed to look very human-like in a primitive sort of way. I still remember the horrible stench that made me want to vomit. That was probably the longest and most terrifying night of my life. But afterwards I’ve come to honor the experience, because I would come to realize that the creature was undoubtedly a Bigfoot, and I was one of the few people who got the chance to see it extremely up close.
So, to all of you skeptics out there, I understand your incredulity, but believe me, I’ve experienced it firsthand. There is no doubt that these creatures exist. I’m not sure about how abundant they are, but they truly exist, and they are not only scary looking and smelly, but they are a fascinating sight to see. And even though I only remember hearing the Bigfoot grunt, and growl a bit, I feel that they are more human-like than ape, due to the appearance of the face. That was actually the scariest part. Seeing that not only was there a strange, giant creature creeping around my campsite, but it was a very human-like, albeit extremely hairy creature. And when I say hairy, I really mean it. I’ve never seen so much hair on the body of any creature.
My words here can never do justice to what I saw that night as a teen. I can never describe to you, just how otherworldly and surreal the whole situation felt. But it was real, and I know I wasn’t dreaming because I could not get to sleep the whole night. In fact, I was very wide awake, even though I pretended to sleep while every now and then opening my eyes slightly to catch glimpses of the Bigfoot.
To this day, I am greatly affected by the experience, because it changed my whole perception of the world. After that I would never doubt the possibility of anything existing, not even things like vampires, aliens or the chupacabra. I learned from that night to always keep an open mind when hearing about the seemingly impossible, because I myself encountered a creature long thought, and still thought to be purely a myth by most people." Tall Pale White Humanoid Encounters by 3 Eyewitnesses
3 different eyewitnesses detail they're experiences with unknown pale humanoids. What are people encountering?
"We live in northern Illinois, near Rockford. Our backyard is pretty long and connects to an alleyway, and all the way at the back we have two poles that used to be used for hanging clothes out to dry. They're probably about 6 and a half feet tall. Connected to my house in the yard is a porch. It's basically a room with two of the walls taken out and replaced with wire mesh.
We live in a two bedroom house with my cousin, her son, my mom, and my grandfather. My mom and I used to share a room until my cousin got pregnant, so she gave up our room so she wouldn't be sleeping on an uncomfortable couch. For a while my mom and I slept in the living room, her on the couch and me on an air mattress. Up until two years ago, my mom reverted a room in our basement into a bedroom for me so I could get some privacy for myself. My mom still sleeps in the living room on the couch, so she doesn't have any privacy, except for back porch. So she pretty much just sits out there all day.
It was last year in late summer/early fall. My mom was sitting on the porch, as she usually does, and she looks out into the backyard and sees something standing in the alley, right behind our fence. It was pretty dark out so she couldn't make out exactly what it looked like, but she said it had a human figure, was completely white, about the size of the poles we have in the yard.
She told me that it hopped the fence with no problem and started sprinting at her, like if it were running a marathon or something. It then got a couple feet away from the porch window and then just disappeared. She said she was so scared that she was completely frozen that entire time. She didn't move her body for a good twenty seconds because she was scared that if it saw her move it was going to come back. She just kept moving her eyes to get them to adjust to the dark so she could see if there was anything still outside.
To come outside to the porch, you need to walk through the kitchen, and that's where I was. I was sitting at the kitchen table when she bursts through the door, and runs to the sink to get a knife. So now I'm panicking because I thought there was a murderer outside or something, and then she tells me what happened. We both stayed there for a good hour just looking out the kitchen window to see if that thing was still there.
I haven't talked to her about that at all since then, until now." MP

"I’ll be honest, I almost never believe anyone’s story about seeing mythical creatures or monsters and wouldn’t believe this story if I told myself it from another perspective. However the only reason I think I actually did see something was because my friend saw the same thing and verified my eyes weren’t just playing tricks on me.
We were driving home from a friends (she was the driver I was passenger) around 1:30 am. Going around 35 mph I see a figure standing completely still on the side of the road just looking across the road not moving.
What it looked like:
-Thin and relatively tall (maybe 6 to 6.5 feet tall) - Pale skin - Hunched over slightly - Dark black pits for eyes - No mouth (or if there was one very small and not noticeable) - Stringy long hair like Gollum - Wearing clothes like a tattered coat or hoodie thing - And here’s a really strange feature, it’s legs were jointed backwards (like a cricket) but it was standing straight up. Imagine your own legs slightly bent but the bend is reversed.
Anyone seen anything like this or have an idea of what it is?
This really freaked me out because I saw it and immediately turned to my friend the driver and she had a look of pure shock and fear also and at that moment we both realized we saw it. We were so scared we sped up and didn’t look back. Now I wish we looked back to see what it was." RB

"I had an experience as a child and I'll never forget every detail of that day.
Little backstory, at the time we lived with my grandmother in the high desert of California. She had a dance studio built on her property, so the house was in the center of the land, with a large building off to the right.
I was about 7 and was sitting on the front porch with my dogs. Puppy was blind but definitely took guard dog seriously, he was always the first to signal danger. Suddenly his hackles went up and he started growling towards the dance studio. There was this hole that had appeared that went under the studio. All attempts to fill it in had been met with it reappearing the next morning.
So as the puppy is growling, Raja, a bullmastiff, stood up and put her body between me and the stairs/path to the studio. Suddenly this pale creature with limbs way to long comes crawling out of the hole. I just stood there and stared. At first it didn't see me, and I was too scared to try to make it to the door. Then it spotted me, and stood up and it just kept standing up. It was unnaturally tall. We stared at each other for what felt like forever. I then screamed, ran for the door and flew it open. I looked one last time and it had thrown itself on all fours and was running off the property to the fields across the street.
This was near sunset, and that was the only time I ever saw it. I stopped going outside alone after that. Also this was all the way back 1997." DB
Black-Eyed Woman Shapeshifts Into A Bizarre Humanoid In Delaware Restaurant
A Delaware restaurant worker encounters an odd-looking black-eyed woman who literally and instantly shapeshifts into an bizarre humanoid.
I was recently referred to the following account:
"About a year ago I was living on the east coast, Delaware to be more specific. Having grown up in rural Indiana, I was a bit out of my element but extremely excited to travel and broaden my horizons. I had no idea about Reptilian cults or Annunaki, nor did I really care for any conspiracies at this point. Anyways, I had just rented a cheap apartment and found a night shift job at a nearby Chipolte restaurant. The dinner rush there was usually around 7–8 pm and it would get fairly busy.
One night I was busy getting my burrito making skills on and I happen to look up and glance out the window. And there she was, walking down the sidewalk. A 6-foot caramel skinned woman in a plain sort of elegant pastel olive colored dress. Her hair looked as if it was a cheap wig, shoulder length and frayed at the ends but oddly pinned exactly straight against her head like the wind outside had no effect. Also way too shiny to be real. Nothing too odd. You tend to see stranger things around every corner in Delaware. So I continue making the food order I was working on.
All of a sudden, I'm startled to the core by a flash of light that caught me off guard. I thought a customer took a picture of me or something, I look around in a frustrated panic as I've never been very photogenic nor did I want my photo taken by some stranger. But to my surprise no one was even paying any attention to me. The customers I was preparing food for were already down the line paying for their food and I had absolutely no recollection of finishing the order. I stood there for a moment, trying to recollect myself. Did I just lose time? Was I really just not paying attention? Is there something wrong with my short term memory? Did anyone else see that flashing light?
My manager abruptly snaps me out of my crisis-like panic by asking me to grab steak from the walk in. I do as instructed and as I'm heading back up to the front of the store I see the tall lady I noticed a few moments before making her way in the door. There was something off about her, I couldn't put my finger on it. Seeing her closer definitely changed her appearance. I hadn't noticed before but she was ripped. The kind of built that doesn't look right on a woman, I mean muscular as can be. The skin on her face looked rough, dry, sort of bumpy but it wasn't acne and her face was elongated, the jaw line was fine and chiseled downwards.
At this point I come to my own conclusion that maybe she just loves the gym and that I was judging her appearance harshly when I am in no position to place myself above others. I smile and greet her by asking her how she was, this is when she turned towards me and looked up. An unfamiliar yet comfortable buzzing began all around me, like cicadas buzzing in the fall. This experience would change my perspective of everything I thought I knew. Black eyes. I swear on everything. Black pupils. Black retinas, the white part of this woman's eyes were black. Before my very own eyes I watched this woman's face turn from bumpy to an almost plastic glossy looking, smooth material and her skin turned into a pale grey/blue color.
Goosebumps immediately took over the back of my neck and arms. That steady gaze into my soul would seem to go on for days. I felt as if I was being robbed of my internal privacy, depleting the very fiber of my being. As if she was reading the written version of everything I call my own consciousness. She knew the entirety of my existence and could put an end to it in a second and she made that very clear without saying a single word. She was telepathically forcing me to understand how insignificant we are as humans, how the human experience is one of the lowest tiers of conscious, all of this happened WITHIN SECONDS. The closest thing I can compare to what she had me visualize is would be a snippet of a DMT trip. She had a mischievous undertone. I felt like I owed her something. I couldn't break eye contact. Was my brain deceiving me? Maybe I really was having a stroke? No, I was in a coma and this was some sick dream? This couldn't be real. I felt vulnerable for the first time in years. She had some kind of sick power over me, she was draining me.
She was still walking towards me but she did not look away. I was still in shock, never had I felt so powerless to any thing. I remember feeling like the weight of my body would soon make my knees buckle and I would collapse onto the floor. In my mind I was begging her repeatedly, pleading for her to stop this, whatever was happening. She grinned a twisted smile, unnatural. I'm looking at what appear to be her teeth like something out of a movie, clean but shaped like thick spikes that fit together. Yes, like a shark. She stopped to stand directly in front of me. She tilted her head to her right (my left) in an innocent way and her pupils shrank back down. Right in front of me. She suddenly morphed back into the ‘thing' she was prior. I can only describe it almost as if she had just sucked another face onto hers in a millisecond. Like she could control atoms on a level we could not fathom, turning them into whatever her design. and before I knew it, the buzzing was gone. Her skin bumpy as had been before. Eyes still a really dark shade but the proper shapes. I didn't get the opportunity to see her teeth again as I'm sure they looked somewhat like a regular person's. Just a strange looking woman in front of me.
I was still intimidated and skeptical of what my eyes, ears, and brain had just witnessed. I was completely drained. I had no energy. My soul felt hollow. I felt pointless and so confused. I walk to the back of the store while one of my co-workers is making food for her as if NONE OF ANY OF THAT EVER HAPPENED. Like everything was fine. I hear the lady's physical voice say something about lettuce and I realize it's not anything close to the voice I was interpreting in my head. WTF JUST HAPPENED?
I tell my manager I have a family emergency and that I had to leave right then. I would later receive a disciplinary write up for leaving a shift, but I had to get out of there. I never saw the lady again. For months I questioned my sanity and reality. I knew I couldn't tell anyone. I began to fall into a 6-month depression that I am now over. Mentally I'm doing better than ever but I still question what I saw that day. What I heard and felt. Who was she? And why did I see what I did? Was it because she allowed me to? Was I just hallucinating? Has anyone else ever experienced anything of the sort?" DD

From Keller Venus Files, photo taken by Canadian pulp science fiction magazine illustrator, Gene Duplantier of Willowdale, Ontario, depicts Laura Marxer with George Adamski at dinner following his presentation in downtown Detroit hotel on 24 March 1954. Duplantier traveled to Detroit to interview Adamski about his initial contact with a Venusian saucer pilot in the Mojave Desert on 20 November 1952. Q. Do space people dress like us?
A. Yes, they dress very much like we do here.
Q. Do they eat meat?
A. Yes, in an emergency. I had eggs at one meal and there was fish. Nothing fried, all boiled.
Q. How do they speak English?
A. Very well. They monitor our radio and television programs. That is how they got so good at it.
Q. Do they have animals on the planets?
A. When I took my trip they knew I was interested in horses; and as we flew over Venus, they tipped the ship so I could see horses in the pasture. When I landed at the ruler’s home, in one place, I saw the children playing with several sizes of dogs.
Q. Did they give you names?
A. No, no names. The only names they gave me were of the ones I was to contact time and again, and only for identification purposes.
Q. Were you taken to the planets in a mother ship or a saucer?
A. No, I was taken in a ship about fifty feet across, probably eight feet high. There was no mother ship. It made the trip into space on its own power. I slept in the ship and I was allowed to take the ship into the air. They showed me what buttons to push. I was allowed to play with it for about fifteen or twenty minutes.
Q. Did they give you anything to put you to sleep on the ship?
A. No. They make you feel so much at home. It’s hard to explain how friendly they are. They would do nothing to harm anyone.
Q. By what power do their ships fly?
A. By magnetic power, they told me.
Q. How long did it take to travel to Mars?
A. My whole trip back and forth took two days and two nights.
Q. Did you know what time it was when you arrived on Mars?
A. No, I was mixed up on time. They told me not to take my watch because the ship would magnetize it. After they allowed me to take off into space, we all went to sleep and the ship was put on automatic control.
Q. Did you see the Sun when you got out into space?
A. No, because it is very dark in space.
Q. Did you notice any difference in your weight on Mars or the Moon?
A. No, I didn’t see any difference. They took me to places that somehow made up for the differences so Earthlings could keep their balance.
Q. How could you see the mountains if there is a haze on the Moon?
A. There is a dense cloudiness around the Moon above secluded valleys; but you can see for quite some distance once you are under it. But you can’t see stars or planets from the Moon.
Q. Do they travel by compass or the stars?
A. They travel by automatic control. They just set their gauges on the ship and go where they want to by their maps.
Q. Did you have your camera ready, expecting to see saucers that first time?
A. No, I only took a farm magazine. They said nothing about flying saucers at all. I had no knowledge of flying saucers before.
Q. How high were the saucers?
A. I should judge a thousand feet. The Air Force came when the place I had the picture developing done reported my pictures to them. They put their camera in the same place and did a lot of figuring. Then they said I came pretty close to their measurements. I was paid five dollars to move the post and I’m not to tell which way it was moved, so that no one else can use my measurements. While one of the saucers landed for the space people to talk to me, two always remained in the air.
Q. Why do they want to land here?
A. They say that they land because they want to watch our atomic age; that every so many ages they come to Earth, more so than others; and our bombs are causing the snow to melt on the ice caps. They are watching our bombing tests.
Q. What can they do to help, when and if there is a bombing?
A. They will help us when the time comes, if we welcome them.
Q. Why don’t they come to our government instead of to ordinary people?
A. Because our government is not friendly. We won’t accept them. We’d shoot them down.
Q. Did they land right straight down or at an angle?
A. Straight down. They pushed over a little tree when they landed.

Large Cryptid 'Werewolf' Encountered Near Jacutinga-MG, Brazil
Two Brazilian friends observed a large cryptid canine that the witnesses described as a 'werewolf'. It followed and kept pace with the pickup they were riding in.
This account was brought to my attention. I needed to correct some of the broken English:
"I'm 20 years old and I live in Brazil, São Paulo State. What I'm going to tell here happened to me, in the year 2017, here in my city. A friend, who I'll call Thiago, made me an invitation to spend a day at his father's place. My city is just outside Jacutinga-MG, BR. It was a Saturday, and I went with him in the morning. We had a really nice day. We had a barbecue, swam, ate fruit, talked and helped his father to prune other trees, it was really cool.
When it got dark, at night, around 20:00, Thiago's father asked us to leave. His father had a Fiorino das Antigas pickup truck. We were both in the bucket, sitting talking. We sat with our backs to the cabin's rear window, looking back. We had already gone about a kilometer. The two of them there, looking at the road, towards the back of the truck. When his father slowed down to go through a tunnel, he came up behind a tall black shape, quickly. I thought it was a very big dog with a bright eye. At the time we commented: "What is it? What animal is that?" It stood, like a person, on top of that ravine. It was looking towards us and was about 40 or 50 meters from the truck, which was moving away. We looked at each other and very scared and confused. Then we looked back at the animal. Then, the animal was standing on 4 legs again, and ran down the ravine towards the road. When he reached the side of the road, in the rush downhill, he jumped the other way, crossing the entire road into the opposite ravine. Thiago tells me: "That is a werewolf!
The werewolf began to follow and parallel the truck through the woods. He went through the woods, we saw leaves and branches flying, we heard the branches breaking, and we saw him passing among the trees. So Thiago asked his father to speed up, because there was something following the car. The father asked: "What is it?" And he said: "I think it's a werewolf!" Soon, we arrived at the river, and crossed a narrow bridge. I don't know why, but he didn't cross the river, and he stayed up there on the bank, watching us, until he disappeared from view at the curve.
I had never seen or believed that there was a werewolf, despite hearing stories from my parents and grandparents. Now I avoid going to the countryside at night. What marked me most in this story was the jump. A fantastic jump from one side of the road to the other. And me and Thiago seeing everything from Fiorino Uno's bucket. If it weren't for the river, that werewolf might have jumped on Fiorino to catch us." MP
NOTE: There seems to be a high number of upright canine or 'werewolf' account originating from Brazil in the past decade or so. I don't know what these witnesses saw, but it definitely was not an average canine. Lon

Possible Bigfoot Peers Through An Open Window in Elk Rapids, Michigan
A young boy in rural Michigan is shocked by a possible Bigfoot that was watching him through an open window.
I recently came across the following account from an open source:
"In 1974 my parents moved my little brother and I from greater Detroit all the way up north to the rural town of Elk Rapids. My father bought a small roadside motel, and he and my mom made a real go at it.
This place was magical for me as a kid - snakes, turtles, frogs - all of this natural world was new to me. In looking back, I am amazed at how much land my parents owned due to them also owning some frontage on Lake Michigan as part of the motel grounds. I mention this due to the fact that the beach itself was set far back, maybe .25 miles behind the motel with thick, dense forest in between. I can't stress enough for those of you who are familiar with what this area is like now. In the mid seventies it was really away from it all. So much so, that my dad learned that there was a Native American family living on his land, in the forest, and that they needed access to the hand pump well in the barn in order to have water (which he gladly allowed to continue). In looking back, it must have been quite an adjustment for he and my mother also.
So it was during one of those summer nights, all the windows open, breeze blowing in and the curtains billowing in, that I shot out of bed. Again I was young at the time, and I still cannot say what got me up in the middle of the night. It was definitely late, everyone was sound asleep and the whole place was dead silent. I remember being frightened, and I remember that I had to get to my parent's room as quickly and quietly as possible.
This is where my memory is more acute. I remember that my parents bedroom window was open. I remember the sheer curtains billowing in on the breeze. I stood at the doorway to their room, looking at my parents sleeping, then going back to the window. I remember their window faced the courtyard for the motel, and there was light coming from the window, either from the yard lights in the courtyard, or the moon. I remember the light so vividly.
It was then that someone or something came to the open window and was looking in at me. I could not see its face, it was completely blacked out in silhouette. All I could see was the halo of long hair, hair everywhere, not just its head, all lit up by the light behind it. The sight of it broke me from my spell, and I crossed the room and dove in between my parents. I laid there, being as quiet as possible, knowing that it watched me run across the room. There was no sound. I remember my dad lying on his side, like a wall between me and whatever it was at the window I remember lifting my head to peek over a few times, and each time it was still there, staring in the window. At some point, I must have fallen asleep.
That experience was a turning point for me, and not in the best way, because (now that I'm 50 years old I am no longer embarrassed) from then on I really struggled to sleep on my own. I was always trying to sneak in my parents bed, well into grade school. I really dreaded going to bed, even when my brother and I shared a room. Looking back, I wish I would have said something to them about that in the moment, but what would they have done? It was years later, as an adult, when my cousins asked me to tell them that story (again) at a family function, that my mother (my father had already passed) overheard and asked me to tell her about it. I could see it in her eyes that lots of pieces fell into place.
As I write this and think about that moment when I stood at my parent's door, watching the window- I realize now I may have been expecting it to appear there. Maybe I saw it at my bedroom window and thought it might follow me?" OS

'Glimmer Man' Appears in Vet's Bedroom
A military police veteran observes a 'Glimmer Man' entity in his bedroom and states it was the most scared he has ever been.
I recently received the following account:
"I had a experience last night (Sunday, May 17th) that I thought you two would love to hear about. Now a little background on me, I'm 36 years old and a military police veteran of 10 years. I've had some weird things happen to me in my life that I can explain and others I still can't until this day. I have a healthy skepticism of the paranormal which is why these experiences bother me so much. I don't worry myself about how people may perceive me when I tell others some of my stories, because after being a cop for 10 years you know what you see and the facts are the facts.
I have asked before, if you had the chance to see any kind of creature which would it be? Well, last night I'm pretty sure I saw the damn 'Glimmer Man.' Now any other night my girlfriend and I would've went to bed at the same time but I end up staying up later due to due to having to get my daughter from work late. I got home and stayed up until around 1 am. My girlfriend went to bed maybe a hour earlier. Went through my usual routine, checked the doors and windows to make sure they where locked and then laid down.
I usually toss and turn throughout the night, fully waking up for a few minutes before going back to sleep. I sleep on the end of the bed furthest away from the bedroom door. I have blackout curtains over my window so my corner of the room is very dark. Our neighbor leaves her porch lights on so some light pours in through our window. On my girlfriend's side she prefers to have a little light shine through. On her bedside table she plugs in her phone so you can see the light periodically shine when a notification comes in. As I turned over to face her side of the room, that's when I saw it. Now this wasn't a, "let me focus on whatever this is." It was a instant, "what the hell is that!" Now, I don't care who you are or what you've done in your life or how bad you think you are, when you're in a vulnerable state and face to face with something that shouldn't exist everything goes out the window. I've been in convoys, high risk traffic stops, and patrols in Iraq but no fear compared to this. It had to be at least 6 or 7 feet tall maybe, and wide. I say that because as my girlfriend's phone notification light illuminated the corner next to the head of the bed, I could see its right hand shoulder, arm, and a little bit of its side.
From what I could see especially in the shoulder area it looks like it had on some kind of, I know this sounds silly but small shoulder pads. Nothing big like football pads but imagine baseball knee pads on your shoulder, like that. When the light hit it, it did have that "Predator" look to it with slight glimpses of reds, blues, and purples maybe. Just like it was somehow bending light. I couldn't see the legs, chest, or face area cause I guess the light wasn't strong enough to reach it. What was even more scary is that it was moving while standing next to my girlfriend like it was touching her in some way. It would seemingly reach over to her night stand and grab things and then turn back to her, doing all of this pretty fast. Maybe there was something else there that I couldn't see. Now that I think about it, imagine laying on a gurney and being operated on, that's what it looked like, "it" being the doctor.
I laid their completely frozen. Jumping up crossed my mind then I quickly decided not to. If this is real I don't know the risks. Is this thing capable of reacting? Would I upset it and something more severe could happen? From what I could see my girlfriend was sound asleep. While all this was happening I was still in the same position I was in when I rolled over and saw this thing. My entire body was hot and I could feel myself starting to sweat. Now I work out on the regular and have a pistol on my nightstand and a gun safe full of weapons in my closet no more than 10 feet away. I'm not afraid to say as I laid their watching this thing opening and closing my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things that wasn't there. A tear ran down my face and it was because of pure fear.
The whole full sighting lasted about 2 minutes. From there I closed my eyes and began to say the Lord's Prayer over and over again until I couldn't see it and got the courage to roll over. Needless to say I slept like sh*t last night. I probably won't mention this to my girlfriend. It wouldn't help the situation any and I feel like the less she knows the better.
Either this thing is real or all of us that have seen it or something like it are going insane. Hell, they said that about UFOs and look what happened. Apparently they're out there too." DP

Huge Winged Humanoid Encountered in Joplin, Missouri ('Butterfly People?')
A Missouri woman encounters a huge winged humanoid while driving near Joplin. Could this winged cryptid be associated with the Joplin 'Butterfly People?'
I recently received the following account:
"Hi Mr. Strickler,
My name is BB and I am writing to you from the southwest part of Missouri in the Ozarks.
I’m writing to report a flying humanoid sighting. I actually feel guilty for just now reaching out, as my sighting was almost a year ago in June 2019.
The sighting took place in Joplin, Missouri as I was driving from Springfield, MO to Kansas City, MO.
Normally when I make this drive I go straight up Highway 13 through Bolivar and Clinton. However, on this night there were tornado warnings and my step father told me to go through Joplin instead.
The approximate time was somewhere between 7-8 pm. It was not yet dark. It usually gets dark between 8:30-9 this time of year. While the tornadoes weren’t going to be in my route, there were scattered thunderstorms. At the time of my sighting it was in between one storm and just before another. I mention this for a couple of reasons:
1. Because I think there’s some correlation between the electric charges of a thunderstorm and the ability to see this creature - I have no idea why I suspect this. And, 2. To acknowledge that while it was not dark, it was gray due to the storm.
At the time of my sighting I was driving a 2005 Chevy Blazer. The one that’s 2 door with the s10 body style. I mention this because I use my vehicle as a way to measure this creature.
I was driving down the highway going a little slower than the limit of 70 due to the wetness of the road. If I were to guess I’d say 50 or 55 mph. I did not see the creature until he was pretty much right over me (I say “he” because that’s the feeling I got).
The creature was flying over me perpendicular to my direction and over to my right into the wooded area next to the highway. He was so close on top over my vehicle that I could close up see the texture of his wings through my drivers window and sunroof. The sunroof was closed obviously but I had the shade pulled back so it was just glass for me to look through.
I do not remember any feet or arms and I did not see the head. The only part of the anatomy I saw besides the wings was a small quadrant of the torso region. I’m guessing it was somewhere above the navel (if there were even a navel) and before the pectoral region as I did not see anything like human nipples.
The wingspan of this creature had to be between 12-16 feet. I mean I’m not great with measurements but the creature easily could have had the tip of one wing down on the ground in front of my car and the other tip on the ground behind my car-providing it had been in park and he were not flying. And remember, this is tip to tip perpendicular to me not parallel.
My point is, it was like my car was entirely enveloped in his wings even though it was for a split second. I did not hear any noise.
This does seem kind of weird to me considering I don’t remember seeing more of his body.
But, what I find the most interesting is the apparent control the creature seemed to have over my state of mind. As this was happening I was not scared, I was so completely calm. Now not calm as in soothed or comforted but calm as if I were just looking at a field of cows or something instead of a huge creature that’s supposedly not supposed to exist in our dimension.
Similarly, I mentioned I didn’t see his head, but an image of his head appeared into my mind as if he was planting it there. So I know I saw the wings with my real and sober eyes but his head I believe I only saw in my mind shortly after he passed over, and via some kind of control or telepathy.
Anyway, I remained unaffected by my sighting until I had gotten about 30-50 miles more down the road.
That’s when the “holy sh*ts” and “what the f*cks” started. Pardon my language - I’m going to assume you’ve heard it before.
So I called my boyfriend and told him what happened and I texted my friend Kelly to tell her as well. Both of them had no issue believing me because I somehow tend to be a magnet for strange experiences and plenty of times there have been witnesses with me.
I am a contactee. But apart from the aliens I had seen and recorded during my 2013 encounter, I have only seen a “glimmer man” as far as humanoid or cryptid beings is concerned...until this encounter last year.
Further down the road I pulled over. I wanted to see if anyone in the area had seen anything like I just had. But, I didn’t want to describe it in my google search as to not manipulate the results. So I just googled “cryptid sightings near Joplin, Mo”
Interestingly the search yielded a bunch of articles about children seeing what they described as “butterfly” people who protected them from the rubble during the devastating 2011 tornado which demolished the Joplin area.
Sketches were done following the children’s descriptions but they didn’t seem to match exactly what I saw. But, on the 2nd or 3rd page of Google there was another sketch apparently drawn by a person back in 2003 who’s description matched as best I could tell-from what I saw. To my memory I think the sketch had a less leathery look to the body but what grabbed me was the way they drew the head because it matched the image of the head that I believe the creature gave to me telepathically.
I want to point out one distinction in this creature’s defense-I was never terrified, even after the encounter when I realized what happened. I got absolutely zero “evil” or “demonic” feelings associated by him and I have been proven over time to be able to really trust my intuition involving the supernatural. I wanted to mention this because the sightings I’ve heard about talk about people screaming like lunatics and being traumatized to their core or calling it a demon. Perhaps they are seeing something different than I did or perhaps they just haven’t had to cope with other paranormal or worldview shattering experiences before and are thusly, more threatened.
It didn’t occur to me to reach out when this happened as I have never reached out with my experiences until this year. I think it’s because I’ve had so many strange things happen to be recently that they are starting to outnumber my normal experiences and are increasingly harder to ignore.
I’ve heard of your work from many platforms but was just now relistening to some episodes of Expanded Perspectives and the episode from 2017 when they interviewed you came on and I thought it must be time to share.
By the way Joplin I think Is like 8 or 9 hours to Chicago. I could be mistaken but I’ve never driven from Joplin to Chicago.

Unknown Green Eyed Biped Watches Hunter in Grayson County, Kentucky
A black powder hunter was being watched by an unknown biped with green eye shine. He never went back to the location again.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"I was black powder hunting alone on private property in Grayson County, Kentucky. The property has a gated entrance and I parked my four-wheeler there and normally walked the remaining 150-200 yards to my elevated deer stand. As I shut my four-wheeler off and put on my back pack, I heard a very large limb snap and thought it was a deer or animal moving around maybe 20 yards away. So I didn’t think anything about it, gathered my gun and hunting stuff and started walking down the 2 track trail without my flashlight on due to having good enough light from the moon to see where I was walking (I hunted here a long time and knew the trail). This trail ended in a 15 acre hay field surrounded by old growth timber.
As I walked in the dark, I quickly realized something was paralleling my every step just inside the woods. I walked and stopped and it would do the same. By the time I realized I might have a problem on my hands it was too late to go back to the four-wheeler so I picked up my pace and made a bee line for my deer stand. When I got within 10 yards from the stand, I heard another large limb snap really close to the edge of the field on my left. I stopped turned my flashlight on and shined in that direction. That's when I saw 2 green glowing eyes about 10 inches apart. Instinctively I raised my rifle and stomped my foot at it and yelled “Get out of here” not really sure what I was seeing. It just blinked its eyes once and never moved. I could not make out any details, just that it may have been crouched down due to the proximity of the eyes to the ground.
When whatever this was didn’t run like most non-predatory animals would do, I realized in that instant the best thing to do was bolt up my ladder and get in the stand as quickly as possible. This (whatever it was) was no more than 8 steps away and if I shot at it, I would have been blinded by the muzzle flash and it might attack if I missed in the dark. Not having a way to reload quickly, I made an evasive move. The rest of time I waited in the stand for daybreak it circled my stand just out of light shine.
A few minute before daybreak I heard bipedal steps go into the woods where it had followed me from. I waited till daylight and quickly made my way back to my four-wheeler. As I jumped on the machine and just before I fired it up, I heard another branch or limb snap loudly in the woods off the trail and behind me. I left the area and went back home and cut the week long hunt short and didn’t return until the following spring.
I’ve never hunted the same way again since and rarely go in before or after dark on foot unless I absolutely have to. If I do, I always have a sidearm. I’ve since sold that property and hunt in my home state of Indiana. I can honestly say one thing for sure...if I had had a shotgun or high powered rifle in my hand with more than one shot, I felt threatened enough to use it that day. This thing wasn’t scared of me at all and it changed the way I look at the woods and forests forever. Thinking back on that morning and the days leading up, I now remember that I hadn’t seen the normal wildlife signs and visual activity I normally seen." DJ
NOTE: If I had to make a guess, I'd say that this was most likely an upright canine. A Bigfoot would have probably left earlier, as opposed to an upright canine that tends to hold its ground longer. Interesting account. Lon

Tall Pale Humanoid Observed by a Young Man Near Two Inlets, Minnesota
A college-aged man encounters a 7 ft. grey, thin humanoid while driving near Two Inlets in Becker County, Minnesota.
The following account was forwarded to me:
"I'm not really into the paranormal, but I had an experience 13 years ago that I've never been able to explain. I want to ask for your opinion.
It was fall of 2006 or 2007. I was making the 2-hour drive home from my university along rural county roads in northern Minnesota. The roads along this route are paved and ditches are well maintained. The land just off the right-of-way is forested. For anybody curious this was on County Road 58 near Two Inlets, Minnesota.
I was in a section of roadway with nice long winding turns. Very fun driving. It was just dark enough at this time to need headlights to see. As I came around one of these winding turns the beam of my headlights caught a humanoid figure standing in the long grass in the ditch, maybe 50 feet in front of my car. As my car turned and my lights shone on it, the thing strode gracefully but quickly the 20 or 30 feet into the woods just off the right-of-way.
This thing was at least 7 feet tall, taller than a normal man, but standing naturally erect. I was definitely not an animal on its hind legs. It was grey, with no hair, and very thin; thin enough to see joints. Similar, from what I could tell, from a stereotypical "grey alien" type figure. It walked so quickly and gracefully, I've never seen anything like it.
Wildlife typical to that area are bear, deer, rabbits, the occasional wolf, but I can't think of anything that explains what I saw.
After I saw the thing, I contemplated turning the car around to have another look or maybe find some tracks, but I was in full-on freak out mode so I just kept driving. I was pretty shaken up when I made it home.
Do you have any ideas what I might have seen?
I'll state for the record that I am a Christian, and I've tended to wonder if I saw some kind of demon or evil spirit. From the feeling it gave me, I certainly don't feel like I saw an angel." PS
NOTE: The witness most likely came across a Rake or Fleshgait humanoid (possible a type of Wendigo). These older sightings are fascination because it does confirm that these entities have been seen for quite a while now. The fact that it moved fluidly may suggest that it could have been a non-corporeal manifestation. Lon
