Cryptid Canines in the Four Corners
In May 2012, Jc Johnson revealed a lost video from an interview he had with a Navajo man in 2008 that involved what the witness referred to as a 'Wolfen.'

In May 2012, Jc Johnson of Crypto Four Corners posted a video titled Wes and the Wolfens. After watching the video I left a message for Jc to contact me. Well, in a few minutes Jc was calling back. He explained that this video from 2008 had been lost and recently found. He added updated information in the beginning and at the end of the presentation.
I was interested in Wes' sighting of a 'dogman' or upright canine creature in a residential section of Farmington, NM. as well as the smaller wolf-like animal he encountered while playing in a field in the Four Corners area. Wes' description of the 'dogman' was somewhat similar to those sightings in Michigan and Wisconsin as described by researcher/author Linda Godfrey. Linda and Jc have confided that they believe these particular creatures are natural and terrestrial. I still lean towards the interdimensional 'side of the fence' though I am open for all arguments.
Jc explained that the Four Corners has had a variety of canid sightings (natural and supernatural) other than the typical foxes, dogs, jackals, and coyotes. NOTE: any wolf sighting in the area would be remarkable in itself since the species was hunted out over a century ago.
A Skinwalker is a person (witch) with the supernatural ability to turn into any animal he or she desires, though they first must be wearing a pelt of the animal, to be able to transform. These are commonly described as wolf-like beings though it can be shapeshifted as any past or present indigenous animal. I have previously posted several first-hand accounts on Phantoms & Monsters.
The Weir is similar to a lycanthrope, a supposed mythological or folkloric human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf-like creature. Whether the change is made on purpose or the result of an affliction is unknown. The difference between the Skinwalker and the Weir, in my opinion, is little more than interpretation. Those people who have witnessed these creatures tend to place a distinction between them.
Dire Wolves are classified as an extinct carnivorous mammal closely related to the smaller extant gray wolf. Some of the modern sighting reports are of huge wolves with varied markings...some as big as an average sized horse. The American Alsatian was bred to resemble the ancient Dire Wolf in many respects, but the sightings tend to be of a much larger canid. Are these natural or supernatural beings?
The Dogman is an enigma...basically because all the evidence has been anecdotal to this point. There have been legends, hoaxes and everything else in between. As I stated earlier, I tend to believe these are interdimensional beings. Jc mentioned an interesting tidbit to me...though the Dogman's strong back legs are like those of a canid there have been reports of a 'spur-like' appendage at the back of the foot that gives this creature a tripod structure in which to stand.
Jc also talked about a particular sighting from a few years ago on the Navajo lands in the Four Corners. The witnesses stated that their sheep and goats had been let out to graze during the day. When the herd started to return early they were concerned that something was amiss. When they conducted an inventory, one sheep and one goat were missing. The witnesses climbed into their vehicle and drove to the grazing area.
When they arrived, the carcasses of the sheep and goat were located, though there was very little left other than spines and skulls. On a distant rise the witnessed could clearly make out the shape of a large canid standing on two legs. There was also a much smaller juvenile canid accompanying the adult. The fact that there were multiple witnesses, it was daylight and that there were defleshed carcasses tends to give the 'natural' argument some leverage.
I first heard the word 'Wolfen' after reading Whitley Strieber's 1978 novel in which a New York City cop investigates a series of brutal deaths that resemble animal attacks. So, what is a Wolfen? In the book, the Wolfen was a superior predator, not a spirit. Though there could have been a supernatural aspect to it. Basically, the Wolfen was a mystery. Well folks, that's what we have here. Lon

MIB (Man in Black) on the New York State Museum Elevator
A bizarre account involving a boy and his classmates, who shared a ride on an elevator in the New York State Museum...time slip and alternate reality included.
I received the following account:
"After hearing story after story of strange encounters with strange men dressed in black suits, I wanted to tell a story from my childhood that to this day I have been unable to explain. This took place in 2001 when I was 8 years old.
It was summer and I was on a field trip with my town's community center daycare program. We were at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY. I was in a group with maybe 2 or 3 other kids and one of the daycare workers for a chaperone. We got there in the morning and were told we could roam around the museum with our group until either 12 or 1 when we had to meet back up with everyone for lunch on the 3rd floor.
Our group walked around, looking at all the exhibits and after a while, we realized we had lost track of time. We only had a few minutes to get up to the 3rd floor for lunch and attendance and we were on the other side of the museum from where the elevators are. We hurried quickly to the lobby and hopped into an elevator. Out of breath from the near sprint we had done to the lobby, our group piled into the elevator, we hit the 3rd floor button, and my chaperone said we had made it in time and that we still had a minute or so to spare. Then as the doors were closing, an extremely well-dressed man walked into the elevator. He was wearing black shoes, a black suit with a white dress shirt, black tie, black leather gloves, and a black fedora, and was carrying a black leather briefcase. At the time I thought nothing of it, but I've always looked back at this and thought this was very odd as it was summer and he was dressed for the dead of winter.
As the man got on, I noticed that he kept his head down, almost as though he didn't want us to see his face. He quickly turned around, only then lifting his head. He just stood there with his back to us, and I don't remember ever seeing him select a floor. The elevator doors closed and this eerie feeling seemed to be emanating from the man in black. We had left the lobby on the first floor and were going up the third floor, so the ride should have been maybe 10 or 20 seconds at most. The elevator's display showed we had arrived at the third floor, but the elevator didn't stop. the numbers just kept climbing, and we were definitely still moving. (I want to preface this by saying those elevators in the lobby only have access to 4 floors, and to my knowledge the museum only has 4 above ground floors. I'll talk more about that at the end.) At this point, it had been well over a minute since the elevator started moving and the numbers on the display continued to climb; as did the elevator. That eerie feeling that had been seemingly emanating from this man was getting more intense and the air in the elevator was beginning to get extremely heavy, this seemed to get more and more noticeable as we continued to go up. The higher the elevator climbed, the feeling turned from eerie to foreboding. I remember getting the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you know something bad is going to happen. Something definitely wasn't right, the display was saying we had passed the 50th floor and we were still climbing.
At this point it had been around 5 minutes in the elevator. The atmosphere in the elevator had gotten almost unbearable. This heavy, ominous feeling was something I've never experienced since. The closest thing I can compare it to is that feeling you get when you walk down a dark hallway after watching a horror movie, and even that doesn't begin to describe this. Suddenly, the elevator stops. There's a sudden shift in the atmosphere of the elevator. It went from this foreboding feeling to a feeling of impending doom. Then I remember an almost panic when I thought about was on the other side of those doors. I was telling myself over and over again that the buttons on the elevator don't go past the 4th floor, so there aren't any floors beyond that, so whatever on the other side of those doors can't possibly exist. This whole experience can't possibly have happened, and when the doors open I'll see all my friends from the other groups eating lunch and everything will be okay. But that's not what happened.
And this is where things have always gotten fuzzy for me. I remember getting on the elevator with my group, the man walking in, and the elevator going up. But I can't remember my group being in the elevator after a certain point. I know it was at least five minutes from the time we entered the elevator before it stopped, and yet I can't tell you how much time passed between when the elevator stopped and when the doors opened. I can remember looking at the display to see what floor we were on, but can't remember what it said. I remember being frozen there, with no sound or movement whatsoever. I remember feeling like if those doors opened, something bad was going to happen, to the point where I remember panicking inside my head, pretending that none of this wasn't happening. But every time I opened my eyes that sinister man was still standing there, as still as a statue.
And then all of a sudden, the man who was responsible for all of this, who had not moved a single muscle since the elevator doors closed, drops his briefcase. Not even a second after the briefcase hit the ground, the doors of the elevator opened. And yet I can't remember what was beyond those doors. I have tried for the last 18 years to remember and have never been able to see it. I just remember it being white and bright. The man then calmly picked up his briefcase, tipped his fedora, almost as to bid us goodbye, and walked off the elevator. I then remember the doors closing and that ominous feeling being gone, and in an instant we were on the 3rd floor and the doors popped open.
Only then do I remember seeing the rest of my group on the elevator. All of them looking as terrified as I did, especially our chaperone. Looking out, I saw the rest of the kids and chaperones from the other groups. We walked out of the elevator, and had been expecting to be extremely late for lunch, but we had made it on time. Which is impossible, because we had initially made it to the elevator a minute or so before lunch started, and that encounter on the elevator had lasted at least five or ten minutes. I remember our chaperone pulling the other adults aside and I assume told them what had happened to us on that elevator. I remember sitting at the table with my friends eating a pizza Lunchable and the kids from my group and I sharing the story of what had just happened, no one believing us. I remember the chaperone I had avoided the subject for the rest of the day, and the other kids in my group seemed to have dropped it as well.
I remember that I told my mom what had happened and I've always felt as though she didn't believe me. But before writing this, I wanted to make sure that really did happen since I was so young and it had been well over a decade since this happened, and that it wasn't something my mind made up over the years or maybe just a very vivid dream. So I asked my mom if she remembered me telling her about this, and she said she did. She remembers picking me up from the community center and the second we got into the car I had told her all about the man in black and the elevator going up all these floors and even that he had dropped his briefcase. She said she also remembers me telling her that he had said something to me, though she doesn't remember what, and I don't have any memory of him saying anything.
So there is my story. 18 years later, I still have absolutely no clue who that man was, where the elevator took us, what was beyond the doors where the man walked off, or anything that happened in that elevator. I just know that it happened. I have no idea how long we were in that elevator, it could have been minutes or even hours, but what I do know is that time seems to have been separate from our reality, since no time had actually passed when we got to the third floor. Hopefully you have heard something similar or at least have an idea what happened. I've gone through every explanation I can think of and none of them make sense. From not remembering correctly what elevator we got on, and perhaps getting in one somewhere else, but that's impossible for reasons I've listed in the paragraph below this. I've thought maybe it was a really vivid dream, but my mom remembers me telling her right after picking me up from daycare, the day of the field trip. I've even considered a gas leak in the elevator causing us to hallucinate.The one thought that's always been in the back of my mind has been that we got onto the elevator and took a ride through another dimension.
Just a little side note, I had a job with a catering company in the Albany area last Summer and one of the most common venues we catered at was the New York State Museum. Over that summer, I rode probably every public elevator in that building, and even a cargo elevator they have, and not a single one I rode on had any buttons beyond the 4th floor." ES

Threatened & Scared by 2 Black Eyed Kids (BEK)
A college-aged man is at home in South Carolina during spring break. While mowing a woman's lawn he is accosted by 2 black eyed kids who scare and threaten him, demanding to be allowed into the house.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"This happened to me a few months ago. I'm a freshman in college here in South Carolina. When my spring break started, instead of going some crazy beach during the Covid-19 scare, I spent my week off at home. Because winter ended so early, I found myself mowing lawns about a month earlier than usual.
I drove to an elderly woman's house to mow. I had mowed for her for 4 years now. I used to live down the street from her, but I had since moved away. I kept the job because mowing is great money for little work. She had been diagnosed with cancer, and has not been doing well (in and out of the hospital) so I knew how to let myself in the garage through the back to open the garage door.
I did a once over around the outside of the house, picking up sticks and lifting downspouts. I even threw a nerf football back into the neighbors yard. I went back into the front yard, it was just a beautiful day outside.
I had lived here for my whole childhood, so I stood out in the driveway, taking it all in. There was a couple in their backyard, and a few people walking, and everything else was so peaceful and quiet. Because of Covid-19, very few people were out and about. A perfect afternoon, I didn't think anything like this would happen.
I saw my old next door neighbors outside, and being the socially awkward person that I am, I wanted to avoid conversation plus adhering to 'social distancing.' I put my face mask on and then started the mower, popped my headphones in and pushed it into the backyard. It was a big backyard, with three trees, two gardens, and an oddly shaped bench that was extremely hard to maneuver around. I was at least used to these things having dealt with them for years, and I was just getting into my groove when I saw a kid out of the corner of my eye.
He was just standing in the backyard, I don't know how long he had been there, or how he had even made his way without me seeing him. I jumped, as I was not used to ever being disturbed while mowed. I pulled my headphones out, and he just looks at me from across the yard. He looked pretty normal from where I was standing, it seemed a little hot to be wearing jeans and a sweatshirt but I didn't think anything of it. He was a male, looked to be about 13 years old, but I'm horrible with guessing ages. I looked at him for a couple seconds before I realized he isn't going to say anything this far away, so I reluctantly turned off the mower.
My senses were already working overtime, (besides the ringing in my ears) when the kid asks,"Can you help us?" Us...? I think to myself, "There's more than one?"
I get the butterflies in my stomach because my keys, my wallet, and my cellphone were left out in the garage (I wanted to reduce my pocket weight). I hurried to the front and there was a second boy there, younger than the first by a few years. He didn't move his feet, and just kept his eyes on me. I honestly didn't care about how they were standing or looking. I made a beeline for my valuables and I made sure nothing was taken.
I turned around with everything sorted out in my pockets, and I almost jumped again. They had closed in on me, and were looking up at me. That's when I saw that they had those damn black eyes. I felt so small, so mortal. Those eyes. That's all it took for me to realize I wasn't as in charge as I thought I was.
"Can you help us?" The older boy asks, "We're thirsty and our dad wants to know where we are." My head is just spinning, I've read the stories before. I know what they're up to. But I can't hide. It isn't my house.
"There's a water fountain just across the street." I already know what they're going to say. "Just please let us inside, we've been outside all day and we are very thirsty. You need to let us in." I said "No."
I was trying so hard not to look at them in the eyes. I knew I shouldn't, but I wanted to learn more. I wanted to describe them, so I just caught a glimpse of the little ones. Pitch black, unblinking.
I immediately thought I could hear his voice in my head, even though I had never heard it. It was almost as if I was arguing with myself. I was fighting the voice as I was slowly taking steps back in the garage. The kids didn't move forward, they didn't say anything else. They just stared, and I kept walking, a foot at a time. Finally, I was close enough to hit the button to close the garage door. I could still see their feet, unmoving as the door slowly closed down completely, forcing me into darkness.
For about three seconds I was relieved that I escaped. Then I realized I'm trapped. I can't get in to the main part of the lady's house, and I can't go back out the front. The only option is to leave through the back door that is always left unlocked, the one I came in through. I quickly check for what I came with, when I realize that my keys, which I clearly remember stuffing into my pocket earlier, are now in the palm of my hand. It dawns on me that I can't even remember it, but I almost gave them my keys.
This is too much for me to handle, and the darkness of the garage isn't helping, so I open the door and the sunlight washes over me. I felt so happy. It left me unprepared for what happened next. I closed the door and turned the corner to make my way to the front, and the oldest was alone, blocking my path. He screamed at me, "I asked nicely. Let us in!"
I spun around and bolted into the backyard, I didn't look back to see if I was being chased. I ran past the tree, past the mower I had left out, and I knew that the little one would be ready to meet me around the corner. Sure enough, he was there, and this side yard was more narrow than the first. I put on a burst of speed, and I knocked the kid down. I was about to feel bad, until he tried to bite my hand as I pushed him. The little f*cker tried to bite me. I ran for a few more strides, so close to my car parked on the street, when I stopped.
There was no traffic. Nobody had called my name. There was no reason for me to stop. Except I did. The little boy was crying. I had never heard somebody cry like that. It was crystal clear, like it was coming from my headphones. I turned around and he was sitting up, sobbing. I wanted to walk back and help him, apologize. I wanted to open the garage and find a way in the house to let him use the phone. I wanted to do everything in my power to help him.
"Let us in. We need the house." He said through tears. Almost brainwashed a second time, by an 8 year old. I couldn't believe it. I shook it off one last time, and ran into my car. I locked the doors, and I didn't look back until I was onto a different street. I had hand sanitizer in the car and spread that crap all over myself! I didn't know if those two kids were infected or what.
I called the lady's house to tell her I hadn't finished, and I could be back tomorrow. Thankfully she must not have been home. At least, she didn't answer." GH

Child-Sized 'Rake' Slowly Crawled Through Witness' Garden in Berkshire, England
An English teen observed a creepy child-sized 'Rake' humanoid crawling through his garden in Berkshire.
"As a teen I just refused to sleep at normal hours, especially on weekends. Why? Well that’s because the house I lived in and the land the house was on was haunted as sh*t. Staying up usually meant seeing some freaky activity and growing up in a small English town in Berkshire, well that’s as exciting as life got.
So one night when I was around 14, I was staying up staring out my window when I started seeing glowing blue and purple lights coming from the forest behind my house (we don’t have fireflies where I lived). I thought they were cool so I just continued staring at them, trying to figure out what they were. Now the way my house was set up, my bedroom window faced the forest and my back garden and directly next to my room is a side gate that links to the front part of the house. On either side of the gates are motion sensor lights.
So the lights in the forest may not have been paranormal but what happened next most definitely was. The motion at the front of the gate triggers, casting a faint light into my garden. The night grows really silent, no more owls or crickets and just really eery. The lights in the forest same to ebb and then just die out. I listen carefully as I start to here scuttling on the wood of the gate. It’s muffled so I slightly crack open my window to get a better look / listen.
Now that gate is always locked, with a heavy padlock at that. To this day I have asked my dad if he ever left the gate unlocked that night and he stands by the fact that unless he’s gardening the gate stays closed. This was spring so he might have started seeding so for my own comfort of mind, I’m gonna assume he left the gate open.
Anyways, I hear the gate slowly swing open. The creeks of the wood were so loud against the silent night, so the sound was very distinctive. The motion light right underneath my bedroom window switches on. Honestly to this day I really can’t explain what I saw.
It was this off white veiny kind of skin texture and was about the size of a child. It walked on all fours and looked just sickly. It’s hind legs were significantly longer than it’s front legs and it looked to have hand claws? I hate having to link back to creepypasta but it honestly looked like the rake.
Now I’ve gone through the possibilities in my head trust me. It was too small to be the deer that frequented our garden, also it had no remotely deer like features. A badger or fox with a disease, possible. However I’ve never seen badgers or foxes with such long limbs and so disproportionate. Also this thing was completely hairless and humanlike.
The worst part about it to me was how it slowly and silently moved up my garden path before disappearing into the woods. The noises of the night started back up after that but I was so shook that I didn’t sleep that entire night.
I’m from England so I haven’t heard of any folklore that matches what I saw. I know there were occult practices done in the woods behind my house but I’m pretty sure it was pagan, hence not inherently bad or demonic.

Winged Humanoid Observed & Reported by Airline Pilot at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago
A pilot and co-pilot observe a winged humanoid while taxiing towards the terminal at O'Hare International Airport on the morning of May 31, 2020.
Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research investigator Manuel Navarette posted the following report on UFO Clearinghouse:
Date of the sighting: May 31, 2020
Time of the sighting : Approximately 7:30 A.M.
Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy but with a high cloud ceiling. Winds were light.
The original email from the witness:
Good morning,
I wanted to reach out to you in regards to an incident that occurred on the morning of Sunday, May 31, 2020.
A little bit of critical information first, my name is *redacted* and I am a pilot for *redacted*. I was flying into O’Hare International Airport at approximately 7:30 A.M. that morning. As were taxiing off the active runway and toward the terminal, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. I turned to see a large, black human-like creature fly up and into the sky. I saw this creature for about 4 seconds before he flew up and above the cockpit window and out of sight. I immediately shouted it out to my co-pilot who caught a glimpse of it before it flew out of sight. We were both awestruck by this sighting and it left its dumbfounded.
I radioed the incident to the ATC, who made a note of the incident. The rest of the flight was uneventful and we disembarked our passengers without incident. I brought this incident up amongst colleagues online and was told by several other pilots that they had either seen or heard from others who have seen the exact same thing that we saw.
This is the abbreviated version of this incident but I hope it helped to relay the incident that occurred to me and my co-pilot on that morning and what were saw.
Location of the sighting: O’Hare International Airport - Just off of runway 28R by Terminal 2
Investigators Notes:
I spoke with the witness regarding sighting. He stated that he and his co-pilot had just landed and were in the process of taxiing off the main runway and making their way to the terminal when they had their sighting. When asked, the witness stated that they were flying a Boeing 777-200ER. The witness says something caught his attention from the corner of his eye and that is when he turned to see the winged humanoid. He stated that it was at least six feet tall and solid black and it looks like a thin human with large wings. When asked if the wings were making any movement he stated that they were straight out in what appeared to be a glide configuration.
The witness says that he alerted his co-pilot who is able to see entity for a few seconds before it disappeared above the windows of the airplane. So when you said that he called it in the air traffic control tower and they made note of the incident. I asked the witness to please give a more detailed description asking if he had seen any eyes and if he did what color the witness says the glimpse was fleeting and he said no real details other than human shape with a large wings.
When I asked the pilot about his conversation with his colleagues he stated that pilots do talk to each other using social media and that many of the pilots that he had spoken with had mentioned either seeing this object or had heard stories about the object. He stated that humanoid is a sort of a legend now around O’Hare Airport. When I asked if he could put me in touch with the pilot to corroborate evidence and get reports of other sightings he said he would ask and if something came up it then he would contact me with the information.
I asked the pilot several questions meant to mislead and to give him a chance to change the story but the pilot had stuck with the original sighting details. Further investigation is a necessity for this sighting and it is this investigator's opinion that this is a credible sighting and worthy of follow up.
NOTE: In the late Summer of 2011, reports of Mothman-like flying humanoids began to surface in the city of Chicago. After three brief sightings, there were no further accounts. Then unexpectedly in early 2017, a smattering of encounters emerged from different locations throughout the Chicago metro area; until the number reached near fifty sightings before the end of the Summer. The currently number of viable sightings reported has reached 105...and it continues. We are determined to find the truth.
Since October 2019, the majority of sightings / encounters have been reported at O'Hare International Airport and the surrounding communities. We need your help.

Red Eyed Upright Canine Encountered in Wise River, Montana
A Wise River, Montana resident encounters a 7+ ft red eyed upright canine / dogman cryptid while outside his home one late night in July 2015.
The following account was recently forwarded to me:
"This incident occurred along the Wise River in Montana (the actual address is 61720 MT Highway 43, Wise River, MT 59762). I lived alone and in this remote location we don’t have cable so the only option is satellite TV. It was a humid summer night in July 2015 at around 11:30 pm and the TV was acting up so I needed to go out and re-adjust the satellite like usual. I took a flashlight and a gun with me. When I went outside it was unusually quiet. (I also purchased an AR due to other “sightings” I’ve had but they weren’t credible enough to chalk it up as a Dogman). It was so silent it was unnerving. I brushed the thought off and went to the dish which is in the corner of my yard. I went to work, making sure all the wires were alright and pointing it to a different angle. Suddenly I heard I small snap of a stick to my left and turned the flashlight to the direction and I saw a creature standing there. I got a good look at it for what seemed like an eternity but was for only about ten seconds. I slowly backed off and ran back to the house and locked all the doors and windows.
The creature was unlike anything I have ever seen before. When I shined the light at it, the first thing I saw was the head. It has cropped ears that pointed upwards. Its snout was narrower than a bears and longer and I could make out large teeth protruding from the jaw. Its eyes were a deep red shade that seemed to reflect off the light I was pointing at it. The body was muscular and huge. It had long arms that appeared to be longer than its legs. Broad shoulders that tapered into a skinnier waist. It was slightly crouched over when I saw it, with one hand wrapped around a small tree. I could make out the legs which looked similar to a dog’s legs, it had obvious hocks. Even with the crouched position, it was about my height which is 6 foot. Standing up to full height this creature could easily be 7.5 feet tall. The fur was black and thicker around the neck and chest and the bottom half significantly less so.
I don’t know if it was aggressive or not. What I know is I had a feeling of dread unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Was it just observing me or stalking me? For a creature this large is was deceivingly silent. It got within 15 yards of me without me noticing. All I knew was I needed to get out of there and not find out. I don’t live on the property anymore but after the event I never had another face-to-face encounter. But I would hear sounds in the woods I couldn’t explain. They would start off relatively quiet, and work their way up to furious howls/screams then back down to quiet again. I don’t know if this was the same thing because it could be local wildlife." RC

UFO / 'Nordic' Alien Close Encounter at Arcadia Lake, Oklahoma
In 2013, students from the University of Central Oklahoma had an alleged UFO / Nordic alien encounter at Edmond, Oklahoma's Arcadia Lake. I have tried to find more information about this incident over the years.
"There has been growing interest in an alleged UFO/alien encounter out at Arcadia Lake, on Edmond’s far east side, involving a fraternity brother, presumably from University of Central Oklahoma.
Did this still unidentified young man really see a UFO in and above the lake in late August? And did three “Tall Blond” or “Nordic” aliens – two females and a male - approach this person asking for his help?
At this point we are still unsure of what really happened or whether or not this is really true. You can read our original post on this case – “Close encounter of the frat kind?” – to learn more about the case.
In the meantime, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has taken an interest in the Arcadia Lake case and in our communications with Roger Marsh, MUFON Director of Public Relations, we learn that a second case has been filed having taken place at the same time at Arcadia Lake and disturbing coincides with the other report from the college student.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, August 24, 2013, the eyewitness stated they were fishing for catfish in Arcadia Lake. The person, also unidentified, stated that they had noticed people at a campsite on the shoreline, where the original eyewitness – the “frat brother” – was said to have been.
“A giant bright and glowing light appeared under the lakes surface,” they reported. “It was fairly large and had a light green color to it with a rhythmic flashing of red and blue lights.”
The light went from one side of Arcadia Lake to the other before shooting up in the sky and then “reappeared hovering right over the campsite that I mentioned earlier and disappeared again.”
The light would reappear and then disappear for good. The fisherman states that he went to investigate the scene of the sighting and noted the truck and bags of trash, as the frat brother had noted in his report, but the fisherman said he “did not see any one by the truck or in the immediate area.”
Is this case a hoax? We are so far not sure. We have contacted UCO spokesperson Adrienne Nobles, seeking information on whether any fraternities were holding an event out at Arcadia Lake on the night in question.
Nobles, in an email, wrote: “(T)here was no event registered with their (Fraternity and Sorority) office on Saturday, August 24 … (t)hey also have not heard anything from any of their organizations about a non-registered event on that weekend.”
We also spoke at length with Rick Gardner, Oklahoma MUFON’s lead investigator. Gardner said he has attempted – without much success – to follow up on the Arcadia Lake reports by emailing the fisherman and fraternity brother – both of whom gave curiously matching reports.
Meanwhile, Red Dirt Report went out to the north side of Arcadia Lake, accessible to Route 66, and talked to Rex DeMoss, an officer with the Edmond Police Department’s Arcadia Lake office.
DeMoss said he was unaware of anything unusual having happened at the lake recently and was unfamiliar with the strange report relayed by the frat brother and the fisherman. He said that if he did hear anything he would let us know.
Taking a look at the Arcadia Lake shoreline at Edmond Park, it was clearly a well-used campsite. Grills had been recently used. Beer cans were crushed and scattered about. Clearly lakeside parties take place here. And for a Wednesday afternoon things were pretty quiet on a blue-sky, Oklahoma day. Nearby, a recreation building used by UCO sat empty.
So, was this the site where the incident took place?
And over at the nearby Arcadia Lake Project Office, we spoke with Nicole Offutt about the UFO/alien encounter Red Dirt Report was investigating. Offutt chuckled and said she had not heard anything about such a thing happening at the lake, but said if she did, she too would let us know.
Coincidentally, Linda Moulton Howe, reporter and editor of Earthfiles.com, a little over a week after the fisherman and frat brother sighting, reported in great detail on these same “Tall Blond,” “Nordic” aliens.
She shares an interview with a man named “Tyler Jones” who is from Gadsden, Alabama and had witnessed the aftermath of cattle mutilations on his family farm. He later noted an abduction he and his brother experienced on this same farm in Alabama where the cattle mutilations had taken place 20 years earlier.
During Tyler’s alleged abduction, in the classic sense he finds himself on an examination table and begins to scream in terror. But then an entity touches his forehead and calms him down. When he described the entity, he told Howe: “I guess you would say he was like a Swedish person would look like – blond hair, bluish eyes. He was around 7-feet tall. Sharp, square jaws. Lips just like ours. His head was a little larger in the back than ours would be. His hair was perfectly straight down to his shoulders. – very blond, almost white. The skin was pale – glowing.”
That description is very similar to the one the fraternity brother reported, saying that they had “blonde hair that was almost white and blue eyes.” Was this young man at Arcadia Lake abducted and missing when the fisherman came by his truck to see if anyone was around?

This past weekend I was spending some time out by Lake Arcadia. The fraternity that I am a member of (which is part of a nearby University) just finished having our back to school get together with some of our members. The location of the site was right by the shore of the lake.
It was about one o'clock in the morning and I was the last one there and had been by myself for around thirty minutes. It was my responsibility that night to let no one drive back home while intoxicated and make sure the camp site was in good shape when we were done. As a result of my duties that night I was completely sober and had not been drinking or using any drugs.
Right after I loaded the last bag of trash in the back of my truck I had this strange urge to look at the lake. The best way to describe that feeling was as if I had been day dreaming. There was nothing unusual going on out on then all of the sudden there was a bright glowing light under the water. At this particular distance I could tell exactly how large the circle was but it was big.
The shape was circular and had a light green/yellowish glow with occasional pulsating reed and blue lights. I starred at it dumbfounded as it was moving slowly under the water from one side of the lake to the opposite side. The object moved from one side and back to the other two or three times for about five minutes then it stopped almost near the center of the lake. The object glowed brighter and brighter than shot straight out of the water and into the sky.
After that I turned around and ran as fast as I could to my truck. Once I got to my truck I stopped and fumbled around in my pockets for a couple of seconds looking for my keys and seemingly out of no where a bright light appeared above and slightly behind me.
I turned around to see what was behind me and there was was this giant ship. It wasn't a saucer shaped one that everyone talks about but it had more of a cake shape. It handt landed but just hovered around twenty to thirty feet off the ground for a couple of seconds. Then shot back up into the sky.
I turned back to my truck door and tried to unlock it when I caught something at the corner of my. I jumped back against the side of my truck and about 15 feet away stood three people staring at me that had not been there prior to this incident. There were two very attractive woman and one very tall man that was at least ten feet high. All of them had blonde hair that was almost white and blue eyes.
They did not say anything to me directly but I heard one of the the woman's voice in my head. I know your probably thinking that I am crazy but it did happen. She said, "(my name) please do not be afraid. You have an important role to play if you would like to help us." I said out loud in a shaky voice "okay but I don't know how?" Then the woman said, "don't worry you will know in time." Right after she said that everything went black.
Eventually I woke up around two thirty. Laying about thirty feet away from my last remembered position at the side of my truck.

'Crawling' Humanoid Sightings in Southern Missouri
A Missouri man describes a recent encounter he had with a pale humanoid that moved on all fours. This was not the only local incident with these beings.
I recently came across the following account:
"I live in southern Missouri and I had a unexplained experience with my brother last year. My brother got a pistol and asked me if I wanted to go shoot it in the woods with him and ride his four-wheeler around. I was like hell yeah. We get into the woods, though it felt 'off.' There was no sound other than the wind. I didn't pay much attention to it. There was an old fridge someone put out there as a target, littered with bullet holes. So we shoot at that, and we hear something move to our right. We think it was probably some deer and ignore it. He wants to ride the 4-wheeler around so he gets it out of his truck, gives me the gun just in case. We were in a little clearing in the woods with trails going out. When he's about to leave I see something looking at us, but as soon as I look at the bush it was hiding in it turns away. It was slate-gray with no fur or hair, and looked humanoid. Then it donned on me. The smell in the air, that metallic/rotten blood smell. He checks it out when he drives off, sees nothing.
About 5 minutes after he left, I was standing in the bed of his truck because it seemed like the safest place to be if some animal decided to attack. I hear it circling about 20 ft around the truck in the woods. Then it stopped in front of the truck in the woods, made this low gutteral noise, nothing like any animal I know of. After this noise I make sure there's a round in the chamber and have the pistol drawn. Then it snaps a thin tree behind me (I wasn't facing in the direction it stopped, in front of the truck) and I just stood there not turning around so I wouldn't provoke it.
My brother gets back and I tell him what happened and he said that's funny because the first time he was out there with my cousin they saw this 15+ ft teepee in the woods next to the clearing. Also, my friend's grandpa is scared of that place because he and his friends went camping there, and woke up with a guy missing. He had heard the same gutteral noise coming from the woods. He's the mountain man type, not scared of anything, but he has never went back.
Cut forward around 2 weeks, my friend just left my house and was walking home. He came back not 5 minutes later saying he saw some eyes down at the end of the road (refraction or whatever off his flashlight). So I got ready, put my shoes on, and went to the garage to get my tire iron and we proceeded to walk down the road. We didn't get half way down the road when I sensed something in the field to our left, and shone my flashlight directly on it. It was a really pale humanoid, sunken eyes, and almost a white glowing pupil. It was standing next to a tree looking at us, trying not to be noticed. My friend then told me to point the flashlight in the field a little bit, and sure enough there were 2 more all deformed looking and on all fours. We noped out of there back to my house, where we could feel them watching us from the field next to my house.
I don't know what these things are, but I'm sure they are still around." EX

Racism & Misogyny Are Not Welcomed In The Paranormal!
Hey folks. I'm quite sure that some of you are not going to agree with this post. If that be the case, then please excuse my statement. But I do hope you will consider my rationalization.
In light of recent nationwide events, along with citizens searching for justice and peace, I believe that the proverbial 'Rubicon' has been crossed. This is not a political declaration or anything related to the actions of any individuals in the public eye. But this is an affirmation that needs to be presented.
It is high time that ALL paranormal groups (ex. UFO reporting agencies, investigative teams, media production companies and other organizations associated with any facet of the supernatural) take responsibility for themselves and others in their midst.
Many of you know that there is a history of racism, misogyny and ignorance embedded in our paranormal culture. We live in a diverse nation with a plethora of traditions and social attitudes. But unfortunately, on occasion, these opinions and prejudices go beyond respectable behavior. When non-enthusiasts and skeptics take this conduct into account, then the prevailing attitude is 'one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.' As a result, the genre and those within it are labeled as absurd and unworthy of consideration.
I only ask, for myself and other associates, that all individuals consider their words and actions. Like any diverse body, there are going to be disagreements. That's expected among free-thinkers. But I do hope that we can all agree that discrimination, in any form, is not welcomed in the paranormal community. Thanks for your consideration. Lon
