Unusual BLUE ORB/ANOMALY PHOTOS From Mount Shasta, California

Hello, Lon:

I read your blog daily. The attached photos are from my best friend. On a weekend back in October 2016, she went to the Headwaters Outdoor School in the Mount Shasta area with friends. The First Nations people in that area call this area a vortex or portal. She enjoyed her weekend and took some photos of the area. I guess what she captured in these photos might be called a "Will o' the Wisp." So in the first shot of the sun in the pines, there is a small blue orb at the base of the tree. When blown up, look at these little things. What the heck are they?

The second shot is another orb beneath another tree but magnified it isn't as impressive as the first.

I thought you might have some insight as to what these are." JJ

1950s TV 'OLLIE' PUPPET & ALIEN GREY Haunt 'Night Terror' Experiencer

A Memphis, Tennessee man describes his 'night terrors' after going to the hospital emergency room as a boy. The repeating nightmare haunted him for years, culminating in one last terrorizing night.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"Here's my story. I was 8 years old living with my parents outside of Memphis, Tennessee in the late 1950s. On this day it was a warm summer evening. My parents were next door talking to the neighbors. All the kids were running around and playing. The neighbors had a station wagon parked in their driveway and the tailgate was down. I wasn't watching what I was doing and while running I tripped and went face-first into the tailgate. I split my lip all the way down from my nose through my lip. My upper lip was laid open so I had to go to the hospital. I was terrified of needles and fighting the nurses as they tried to give me a local anesthetic before stitching me up. I was a strong little kid, so three nurses pinned me down and I remember one nurse saying we're going to play Cowboys & Indians. We're going to tie you up. They strapped me down, from head to toe. They gave me the shot in my lip, sewed me up, and I went home. 

After that, I began experiencing night terrors. I attributed that event of getting strapped down and my lip sewed up as the nexus of the night terrors. The nightmare was always consistent. I am at my grandparent's house with all my cousins, like we always did, sleeping on a pallet on their living room floor on the old rug she had there. She'd lay a blanket down and put pillows out. I would lay there with a huge rock on my chest and I can't move any part of my body. I can see up to the top of the rock and over the rock pops a figure. The face is of a character in a TV series that was popular in the late 50s called 'Kukla, Fran, and Ollie.' It is a creepy little character, a weird puppet with a snaggle tooth. The face is looking over the rock and he's laughing at me. He's also talking to me but I can't hear him. I know he's talking because his mouth is moving.

Then I see a hand come over the top of the rock, then an arm, and then a shoulder. A figure pops its head up and it's a figure with bony hands. This thing had a teardrop shaped-head and it had big black almond-shaped eyes, just like the pictures you see of an alien Grey. This was before anyone had ever described alien encounters or abductions! I see this thing look over the top of the rock and it starts to come toward me. At that point, the dream stops and I would wake up in a panic.

The night terrors started to wane when I matured and became an adult. I got married, started raising a family, and I didn't have that dream for almost 50-something years. That was until this past year. One night, my wife had gone out of town. I was here at home with the dogs just working and relaxing. I'll read a book for a while, then I'll watch a TV show and go to bed. 

Well, that's what I did. That night, I had the same old nightmare return. I haven't had it for all those years. I wake up, but not in a night terror state. It's totally dark. No outside light coming through the windows. I started to think that I am still asleep and dreaming. Then I see a figure standing in the doorway of my bedroom and I see its arm up against the wall. I look at this thing and I'm again wondering if I'm awake or if I'm dreaming?

The next thing I remember I'm walking through my house with a firearm and I'm checking the house. The dogs are not alarmed at all and are asleep in their beds. I walk back to my bedroom, put the pistol away, and get back in the bed and I fall asleep. It was probably the best night of sleep that I ever had!

The nightmare I had experienced that night was exactly the same as I had those many years ago. Why I just had one more nightmare is a mystery because I have had no more since then.

One quick note. A few days after this experience, I was in my office working. I had the TV on. Then I heard someone mention Fran Allison, who was the woman from the 'Kukla, Fran, and Ollie' show. I looked up and there was the face of the ugly Ollie character from my nightmares. I didn't panic, but I quickly turned the TV off." P

NOTE: This account really hit a nerve with me. I remember watching the 'Kukla, Fran, and Ollie" show reruns as a kid. It would totally freak me out! I just wonder how that Ollie character puppet affected other kids? I never had nightmares about the character, but I did experience terrifying manifestations at night. Lon

Grandpa's Tales of APPALACHIAN WITCHES, MAGIC, & FOLK HEALING

An Appalachia man describes some of the strange stories that he heard while growing up in the mountains. Tales of witches and other magical occurrences told to him by his Grandpa.

I recently received the following account:

"I have heard you talk about your family folk healing background on your YouTube channel. I thought that I'd share some of the stories that my Grandpa used to tell me.

My dad's side of the family is Appalachian Mountain folk from North Carolina. All great storytellers. I grew up listening to tales of witches in the mountains and magical things they'd experienced.

Now, when I was young my dad would cut my hair. He'd scoop it up and then go over to the woods. I never questioned why this was until one day my youngest brother got his first haircut. As usual, when my dad was done he'd scoop up the hair like he always did. My Grandpa was there at the time and he would say to make sure to bury it. Dad nodded and went out into the woods. I asked about it and Grandpa said that witches can use your hair to cast spells on you. He said that you've got to go out when no one can see you, dig a hole, and bury it. Otherwise, the witches will use it to curse you. Grandpa was surprised that my dad never explained how to tell if a witch made a curse out of your hair. He explains that witches can put spells on bits of human hair to make a person sick or to make them do things occasionally. This will result in a hairball. He describes it as a big tangled wad of hair that just appears from thin air wherever you are.

It sounds crazy, I know. But Grandpa calls my older cousin over to stay with us at the time. He says to my cousin to tell this young lad about the time that you found a hairball. He says that one morning when he was at the breakfast table talking to his brother they were sitting there across from each other when a big wad of hair materialized out of thin air. They watched it appear right in front of their eyes as it floated over like a tumbleweed toward my cousin. He jumped out of his chair. Those 'witch balls' can burn your skin he told me. He grabbed a pair of tongs and plucked it out of the air, careful not to touch it. Then he tossed it in the fire. I asked him if anything ever happened after that. He said no. I asked if he had ever been burned by one of those hairballs and he said no but his friend had apparently.

His friend was on his farm one day when he heard a cow in the woods. He was thinking that one of his cows escaped so he went over to bring it back. He followed the sound until he came to a small clearing but there was no cow. Then a bunch of witch balls appear and encircled him. He knew what they were immediately and he took off running. He ran into a few more on his way out and the next day his face, arms, and neck were covered in big burns.

My Grandpa told me to be careful about my hair after that and from then onward I always made sure dad buried my hair if he cut it. I know that it's probably not a true story or at least there's some other explanation for it but I still do it myself, you know, just in case he was telling the truth.

There was something else that my Grandpa would talk about. There's something that happens before some people die. They call it 'The Knocking.' Before someone died they'd hear tapping at the front door. The tapping always stopped as soon as someone went to check on it. The next day somebody in that house would be dead. Sometimes only the person who was about to die would hear it, but usually, multiple people would hear it. Apparently, it happened to someone in my family.

One of dad's cousins was outside with a bunch of friends and family when they all heard someone pounding on the front door of the house. They looked and nobody was there. They figured that maybe one of the kids had gone inside and was playing around, so they got back to talking. Then the pounding started again and my dad's cousin went over to tell the kids to stop messing around, but nobody was there. He closed the door and began walking toward everybody in the yard when the knocking started again. Again, nobody was there. My Grandpa said everyone got spooked because they all knew that this meant a death in the family would occur. The very next day my dad's cousin was found dead in his bed with no apparent cause of death.

One more tale my Grandpa would tell. When my dad was growing up there was some woman named Miss Ada who everybody knew was a 'good witch.' If people were sick or needed help removing a curse they'd go to Miss Ada.

Grandpa sent dad to Miss Ada's house one day to help her chop wood. He worked up a sweat and Miss Ada asked if dad would like some milk. He said sure and followed her inside. She checked the fridge but there was nothing in it. She says that she must have run out. She asked dad to help her with something really quick and she'll get him some milk. Miss Ada grabs a little towel and dad follows her outside. She has this big bundle of sticks tied up next to the house. She grabs the bundle, lays it on a stump, and then covers it with the towel. She asks, 'Can you chop these sticks for me?' My dad obliges, only when he brings the axe down the sticks don't break. Miss Ada removes the towel and lo and behold the bundle of sticks is fine. There's no damage whatsoever. She then grabs a big pail and sets it at her feet. She takes the towel that she used to cover the bundle of sticks and squeezes. As she rings it out a huge amount of milk comes pouring out of it. She fills up the entire bucket and pours two glasses of fresh milk. My dad takes a sip nervously, then he chugs the entire thing. My dad said it was the sweetest glass of milk that he had ever drunk." MN

Small Bipedal 'GLIMMER MAN' Encountered in Beaver, West Virginia

A Pennsylvania woman is traveling to North Carolina to visit a friend, While in Beaver, West Virginia she observes a 7-8 inch tall cloaked 'Glimmer Man' figure trying to cross the road.

I recently received the following account:

"I recently found your blog and was curious about the 'Glimmer Man' incidents that you have written about. I had a similar encounter several years ago. I curious as to what you think.

The date was Thursday, September 8, 2016. I was on a trip from northwest Pennsylvania to visit a friend in North Carolina. I had been driving for about five and a half hours when I left Route 64 and drove onto Airport Road and came down to a little town called Beaver, West Virginia.

I stopped at the KFC to grab something to eat. When leaving, I made a right out of the parking lot onto Route 19. I was driving slowly as I hadn't picked up speed from pulling out yet. Because I was driving slowly, I'm sure I never would have noticed this.

I was approaching some leaves spread across the road when I noticed the leaves were moving but there was no wind blowing. I slowed down thinking there may be an animal in the leaves and I didn't want to hit it. I was looking really hard because I could see the leaves moving but I didn't see an animal. Then I could make out a small bipedal figure about seven or eight inches tall that seemed to be trying to hide in the leaves. As it tried to get across the road it looked as if I could see a line of each part of the creature but it seemed to be cloaked, kind of like what a chameleon does but not quite the same. It moved with a ratchet-type movement, rather jerky. I don't know if that was its normal gate or if it was injured.

I was driving at a crawl by this time because what I was observing was so bizarre and I was trying to make out what it was I was thinking what in the world is this thing. It almost looked like a frail stick figure as I could only make out some of it. I thought maybe it was an emaciated squirrel but they don't walk on two feet and if it was that skinny it would be dead, not jerking across the road. It was not a featherless bird either.

It had reached the center line and was attempting to cross the rest of the road when a pickup from the other side came speeding along and just missed it with its driver-side tires and I saw the leaves being thrown. I don't know if it made it or not as cars behind me were honking at me to keep moving. I thought about turning around to see if I could find it because that is what I would do for an animal, but this was not an animal that I had ever heard about or had seen before.

The more I thought about it I realized that it may have been cloaked and was picking up the color of the leaves to disguise itself. It reminded me of the cloaked alien in the movie 'Predator.' I could see it but I couldn't make out exactly what it was. As I tried to rationalize this in my head I thought maybe it was a reptile or a lizard of some kind, like a chameleon that can turn different colors to hide. An octopus can do the same thing and maybe we have just never seen them know that they are there.

When I arrived at my friend's house that night I told her about it. She never doubted me as I'm not prone to making up stories. I'm a very rational person. But I still wonder what that thing was and if these Predator-like entities exist all around us." PK

NOTE: I contacted 'PK' and we discussed her incident. In our discussion, she described the shimmering effect that's indicative of the 'Glimmer Man' sightings. I have no idea what the 'cloaked' being may have been but the stick-like figure description is interesting. Lon

U.S. PRESIDENT BIDEN CONFIRMING EXISTENCE OF EXTRATERRESTRIALS is Fake Video

The recording, which shows what appears to be an official address by the US President, has been making the rounds online. It is a total fake.

The recent surge of incidents involving unidentified objects being shot down by US fighter jets has seen a surge of interest in the UFO phenomenon and the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation over the last few weeks.

The spurious video of US President Joe Biden emerged which seemed to confirm that these objects were indeed extraterrestrial in nature. The clip, which showed Biden giving an official statement from a podium (presumably in the White House), quickly went on to attract a lot of attention on social media.

"I am here today to inform you that a number of unidentified flying objects have appeared over many parts of our country," he said. "Though their exact origin remains to be fully determined, the FBI has informed me that it is very likely that these are visitors of extraterrestrial nature."

As it turns out, however, the video is in fact a total forgery.

For one thing, the statement itself never came from the White House. Secondly, it appears as though the footage has been doctored - possibly using AI to manipulate the image and audio.

'Deep fake' technology has been a concern, especially for incidents of national security.

VIDEO: SASQUATCH RECORDED & Print Evidence Collected on Utah Tribal Land

"This video was obtained in Logan Canyon, Utah. We realized after doing a size comparison on location using a man that is six feet tall and 220 pounds how large this Sasquatch is. It's around one to two feet taller than he is and is over twice as wide and twice as thick. Searching in the direction the creature was walking we discovered dozens of tracks along a creek that are around 15 inches long and nearly eight inches wide at the toe splay.

Six days after this video was filmed several people reported seeing a Bigfoot near their camp about five miles south near Franklin Basin. Then four weeks later a man comes face to face with two large Bigfoot around 20 miles south in the Monte Cristo Mountains, a place well known for Bigfoot sighting reports. Perhaps one of the two Bigfoot he saw was in the video filmed six weeks earlier.

Six days after the video footage was made evidence was found of two different size Bigfoot tracks in the area. One is around 15 inches in length the other 17 inches in length suggesting that two individual Sasquatch are in the area."

VIDEO: Bizarre UFO / UAP RECORDED Recently Over Billings, Montana

The following video was shared by Rev19rb on a UFO subreddit recently. The object was supposedly recorded on February 16, 2023, over Billings, Montana. In the video, there does seem to be a surveillance aircraft circling the UAP.

Recent Multiple 'NOT DEER' Eyewitness Report in Roanoke, Virginia

A recent encounter with a pair of 'Not Deer' left a Roanoke, Virginia wondering what he had actually witnessed. His father has a similar encounter several years previous while hunting.

I recently received the following account:

"I stayed after school one late December afternoon (2022 - two months ago) in the Roanoke, Virginia area for a basketball game. After the game, I walked to the nearby church lot waiting for my dad. It was already dark. As I stood waiting I felt like someone or something was watching me. I turned around and saw the shadow of a man behind a bush. I instantly ran to the other side of the street. I caught my breath and slowly walked back to the other side of the church. I would be able to see my dad drive up.

As I stood there, keeping an eye out for my dad and for other shadows, I saw two deer along the edge of the woods. I put some space between me and the deer. I watched the deer as they began to move around. I watched closely as one of the deer seemed to have a bad back leg or was injured. I began to walk in the direction of the deer in order to get a better look.

When I came within 20 feet or so of the deer I stopped. I was literally frozen and terrified at the same time. I realized that these were not deer!  They both had oddly shaped heads with patches of hair that seemed to be stitched onto their bodies. It actually looked like human skin was underneath the patches.

Then both deer looked in my direction and slowly stood up on their back legs! They then started to run in my direction, chasing me back to the church lot! I was yelling and running at the same time, so loud that my dad heard me a block away! I ran towards my home neighborhood, but my dad happened to see me and caught up.

As he stopped ahead of me, I jumped into the passenger seat, yelling 'Go! Go!' He asked me what the hell was I yelling and running for? I couldn't answer him. I was absolutely freaked out! The 10-minute drive home was surreal as I was thinking about what I had experienced and what I was going to tell my dad.

When we got home, and after I calmed down a bit, my mom and dad sat at the dining room table with me and listened to my description of the encounter. They actually listened. They knew by my demeanor that something had really occurred.

Later that night, while I was in my room watching television, my dad came into my room and wanted to talk. He told me about an encounter that he had several years previously with a deer while he and my uncle were hunting in the nearby mountains. His description was very much like mine. He had told my mom about it at the time, so now I know why they didn't question my sanity when we talked.

Can you tell me what I encountered that day? I see references to Wendigos and Not Deer when I started to research on Google. Is that what I witnessed. Is that what my dad witnessed? Thanks." T

NOTE: I wrote back to the witness and described some of the 'Not Deer' sightings and encounters that had been reported in the Appalachian Mountains (in particular George Washington National Forest), relatively close to his location. I believe that this is the first report that I have received describing multiple 'Not Deer.' Lon

VIDEO: BIGFOOT RECORDED on Snow-Covered Francis Peak, Utah

An interesting video from Utah depicts a sizeable creature crossing the top of a snow-covered mountain with relative ease. The recording was reportedly captured on February 15, 2023, by a witness observing the Wasatch Mountain range from the nearby community of Farmington. He noticed something moving across the mountain's Francis Peak at an elevation of around 9,500 feet, where the terrain was covered with a thick blanket of snow.

The terrain, depth of the snow, speed, and maneuverability of the bipedal creature do suggest that it may have actually been a Bigfoot. A helicopter pilot later flew over the area where the suspected Bigfoot was filmed. The sizeable single-file tracks also tend to favor the Bigfoot theory. What are your thoughts? Lon

Two Teens Encounter HUGE RED-EYED UPRIGHT CANINE Near Wedron, Illinois

Two teen boys are out at night hunting near Wedron, Illinois. As they trekked through the deep snow, they encountered a huge red-eyed canine cryptid that then stood up as it approached them.

Richard in Illinois called in to tell of his dogman encounter during one of my appearances on 'Coast to Coast AM' with George Knapp:

“I just turned 60 years old last November. Anyway, when I was 14 or 15, I and a buddy went hunting up on the Burlington Northern railroad tracks, between the town of Dayton and Wedron, Illinois. We had just received heavy snowfall, about 10 to 12 inches. We made it all the way up to where the Wedron Silica pits were. We turned and went across the tracks, come back the other side and we were pretty well gassed out because it was a long walk in the deep snow.

Anyway, we got about a half mile from the cemetery and we weren't talking. We were pretty well-winded. I heard something growling and snarling. My friend walked up behind me and we were both looking. There was a big canine creature, along a four or five-strand wire barb wire fence. It was on the other side along the timberline. There was a big orange moon coming up on the east side of the Fox River. The river runs north and south.

Anyway, it moved toward the edge of the fence. I had a 20-gauge single shot and I think Jimmy had a 12-gauge single shot. I had mine cocked and I imagine he had his cocked too. Then as it reached the fence it stood up and it was standing about four or five feet over the top of the fence. It was huge and terrifying. It had red eyes. It was just as red as it could be and it wasn't from the moonlight because the moon was still on the east side of the river coming up.

We took off! We usually cut down to the east side of the cemetery and went down through the woods back to the Burlington Northern track but we were too scared to go that way. So we went around the cemetery on the west side and went all the way to his house. His dad and his buddies were down in the basement where they were playing cards. We ran down there and told them what had happened to us and they didn't believe us at all. It was absolutely terrifying.”

Eric Mintel (Lead Investigator) - For more than 30 years Eric Mintel is an acclaimed jazz musician with his group the Eric Mintel Quartet. Later at night, Eric Mintel investigates the paranormal.
Eric was invited to perform twice at the White House for President Clinton in 1998 and for President Obama in 2011.  He was also invited to perform at the Kennedy Center over ten times from 1999-2005 and also had a special concert at the United Nations in 2010.  He has toured and performed around the country in concert halls, high schools, libraries, elementary schools, churches, jazz clubs, and many more venues. A consummate professional in front of the camera, Eric has been on television performing his music as well as being interviewed.
Eric and Dominic were recently featured on the cover of American Paranormal magazine in January 2023. Eric has also had stories written up on his paranormal activities by numerous newspapers and has been featured on many radio stations and podcasts across the country and around the world.  Interested in the paranormal from a very young age Eric has led Eric Mintel Investigates since 2016 seeking out strange stories to tell whether it’s ghosts, UFOs, Bigfoot, or Dogman sightings.
Fans of his music have eagerly followed him into the paranormal world.  On many an investigation, Eric and his team have captured groundbreaking video footage and captured strange paranormal activity the likes of which have never been seen.
Eric is also a Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research affiliate.

They have taught her many curiosities about the universe, spirituality, how to develop psychic gifts, and what it truly means to be human. Lily has discovered so much about who we are, and where we are heading as a species.
