OUIJA BOARD Blamed For Hospitalization of 28 Colombian Schoolgirls

Twenty-eight Colombian girls have been hospitalized after allegedly playing with an Ouija board in school. The schoolgirls were admitted with signs of fainting, anxiety, and other symptoms.

According to a report on Indy100.com:

Twenty-eight girls have been hospitalized after allegedly playing with an Ouija board in school. The students were rushed to the hospital after losing consciousness at school. The schoolgirls were admitted with signs of fainting, anxiety, and other symptoms.

Hugo Torres, head of the Galeras Educational Institution in Galeras, Sucre Department, Colombia, said in a video statement:

“There were 28 possible cases of anxiety in school students. Given the reported cases, a series of comments were unleashed on the community that, rather than helping to resolve the situation, led to confusion and an adverse environment for our work. For this reason, INEGA is allowed to report that the students were referred to the local municipal hospital according to the protocols in place.

Directors and teachers accompanied the students during the evaluation process. The respective parents and/or guardians were informed of the situation at the time.”

The school is waiting for the medical reports before providing an update on the incident. Torres also pointed out that the first two hospitalized students have underlying medical conditions.

He clarified:

“The school is waiting for the medical diagnoses to provide further reliable information. The educational institute also respectfully asks citizens to refrain from making early judgments and diagnoses of their own.”

Many parents believe the children have been using Ouija boards in class.

One mother complained:

“I work here in a hospital kiosk and every day I see three or four children arrive after fainting. Parents, you have to move, and investigate what’s happening at school, because our children cannot continue in this situation. Our children always have a good breakfast and it cannot be said that what’s happening is due to lack of food.”

There was no further indication of the investigation and findings.

NOTE: We have seen similar cases of multiple inflictions in the past, especially pertaining to female schoolchildren in underdeveloped countries. Are these incidents of 'mass hysteria' or possibly planned-out reactions? Lon

BIGFOOT PHOTOS Captured By South New Jersey Investigator (VIDEO/PHOTOS)

A set of photographs taken by a paranormal investigator in south New Jersey shows what he believes to be Bigfoot watching him. The witness, a YouTube creator, captured the curious images last month during a hike to a 'research area.'

"I felt an uneasiness that I'd never felt before," the man stated. "I had my video camera ready to shoot, but the device simply wouldn't work despite being fully charged." 

The paranormal investigator asserted that the creature knew that he was taking photos of it and, in turn, it utilized its ability to manipulate his camera so that some of the photos wound up being particularly blurry. He managed to take multiple pictures, of varying clarity, featuring the dark figure that he suspects was Bigfoot.

Regardless of the witness' opinion on portals, and the supernatural abilities possessed by Bigfoot, etc., most skeptics will dismiss the images and the man's account as outright speculation. What are your thoughts? Is this an actual Bigfoot? South New Jersey, especially in the state parks, has been well-documented for having Bigfoot activity. I have posted several incidents myself. Lon

'ALIEN FACE' Recorded in Norwood, Missouri Family Living Room Window (VIDEO)

On the evening of February 8, 1992, members of the Davis family were sitting in the living room of their home just outside of Norwood, Missouri. The father is videotaping as mom, the kids, and some friends settle in to watch wrestling on TV. It was a home video simply meant for family and friends though, at some point in the video (which ran two hours), in the large window behind the couch, a strange face suddenly appears on the right side of the window.

The two people sitting on the couch do not seem to notice it. It pops up and then slowly goes back down, never to re-appear. It was initially thought to be an owl, a large animal, or even a prankster in a Halloween mask though nobody was sure. It soon made the rounds of UFO conventions and sparked many a heated debate in the UFO community.

John Carpenter, a psychiatric social worker, and prominent UFO researcher in Missouri analyzed the face in the window. He didn't believe it to be a hoax though he wasn't willing to call it an alien.

“I've been more impressed as time passes that it remains completely unexplained and completely weird.”

Curiously, the Davis family never attempted to capitalize on the tape in any way and, in fact, even tried to hide it for fear of embarrassment.

“If the family was creating it all on their own, then why haven't they wanted publicity? Why haven't they wanted to be on national TV? Why haven't they wanted to make money on it, cashing in on it in some way?” Carpenter noted.

Even stranger, around the time the Davis video was filmed, Norwood, Missouri was experiencing a wave of UFO sightings, cattle mutilations, and other odd occurrences. UFO researchers in the area collected over a hundred different reports in a three-month period in 1992. Carpenter thought it was unlikely to be a prankster as the weather on that night was 20 degrees and the Davis family had a Rottweiler who wasn't exactly friendly to strangers who happened upon their property. It was unlikely also to be an animal as the window was around 6 feet off the ground and, again, the dog would have alerted them.

“Strange Universe” a now-defunct paranormal news program that ran between 1996 and 1998 sent reporter, Scott Lasky, to Norwood to track down the individuals involved. He discovered that the family was so spooked by the face and other odd occurrences on the property that they had since moved.

Lawrence Davis, the brother of the man who filmed the videotape, agreed to speak to Lasky about the video and the strangeness the family had encountered around the time of the recording. Roughly 300 yards from the Davis home, in a wooded area, there was a sinkhole. In the days after the video was recorded, Lawrence went to the area looking for scorched grass but found nothing except the sinkhole which he found odd. Further, the sister-in-law was convinced that she had seen a UFO take off from the spot in the woods on another night. According to her, it went straight up in the air and then shot off at a high rate of speed. When it was rising slowly, it put off a blue light. It did not look like a traditional flying saucer. Upon thinking of the night of the video, Lawrence is convinced that a craft landed in the wooded area behind the home on February 8, 1992, and at least one of the craft's occupants had walked up to the house and looked inside.

Shortly after the video was recorded, the Davis family was visited by two strange Caucasian men in dark suits. They told the Davis family that they needed to leave well enough alone recalled Lawrence. The men never identified themselves but allegedly made an ominous reference to the death of the family's Rottweiler shortly after the face appeared in the window. He believed that they were giving his brother a warning that he needed to leave it alone and if he didn't, he'd “get hurt more than the dogs.” “If the government or whoever thought that this was a hoax or some kind of game, these men in the dark suits would not be taking any interest in it.” noted Lawrence, who admits that he had reached out to the FBI but was laughed at.

Glen and Barbara Barnes, the current owners of the home, allowed Lasky and Lawrence to tour the house for the show. The Barnes family did not indicate having experienced anything strange in the house.

SASQUATCH PAIR Follow Four-Wheelers Back to Otsego County, Michigan Cabin (VIDEO)

Eyewitness describes, in a video, the frightening encounter he and his daughters had while riding four-wheelers in the deep woods of Vanderbilt, Michigan back in 2017.

“I'm up north and this is northern Michigan and anybody who knows anything about Michigan, once you get past the center of Michigan, it's pretty much all wilderness up until you get to Canada.

So my wife's family, has a cabin probably three hours north of where we live, in a place called Vanderbilt, a very small little village. Their place is way out in the sticks. There's one street. And the street is maybe a mile long and there are six houses on the whole street. So it's a small cabin and it sits on maybe close to 70 acres but it's all wooded - just totally wooded. So the next neighbor is close but then after that, you know, you're probably about, a half mile before you get to the next person.

So we're up there on four-wheelers. We go up there, take the four-wheelers, take a bunch of gas, and we ride... like the whole family. So this one time, I don't know what in the hell possessed me to do this but five o'clock or six o'clock up there is not like it is when you're in a city because there are no street lights and you're totally in the forest. So I've ridden it. I have been going up there for damn near 15 to 20 years by this time and had not seen anything, had not heard anything. There was no indication that anything sketchy at all would be going on.

So I get my daughters, two of my daughters. So we jump on our wheels and my thing is this is like you take a main road down probably a mile and then you turn and you go on a dirt road and then you take that road around. Then you're going to the wood and then there are things called two tracks and this. It's kind of a place where there's enough area for one vehicle, or one four-wheeler, or whatever, and then that's where you hit all the trails.

So as we're on the main road or whatever, it's still pretty open because it's a paved road and it's two lanes, one going each way. It's pretty wide open and it's not that dark, you know, but the lights of the four-wheelers are on. So we go we make the left and we get on the dirt road. This is a main kind of what you'd consider a main road there. It's not technically inside the wood where the two-track is so it's a place where you could drive a truck or a car whatever. 

So we make those first couple of turns going back there before even getting really into the woods. In the two tracks, it's like it went from five to six o'clock to midnight immediately. I'm like, 'Oh no, this is a bad idea.' I started to feel really funny, so I stopped my daughters and I'm like, 'Nope, turn around!' I allow both of them to go in front of me and turn around and I turn around last and I tell them, 'Nope, just keep going right on back to the cabin!'

So we're on like, we're not even five to ten minutes from the cabin. So we turn around and we start heading back to the cabin and as we head back and I'm in back there and they're in front, both of them. I look to my left and here's what's really weird and kind of how I don't know, how your mind works when you see something that you just, you don't really know what you're seeing. Your mind can't process it. I look over and the only thing I can think of is just two people on horses because that's the only thing that my mind could process, a human figure being that tall. Somebody would have to be sitting on top of a horse.

That was the first thing my mind processed and they're just standing still, not moving one muscle. Two of them. One is clearly taller than the other by almost a foot. So I'm looking at them. I don't see the back part of the horses at all but their hair is so long it's like a horse's mane but it's all over and they're just standing there. I just freaked out because I'm back here in the dark and now my mind is playing tricks on me. So I keep going.

We zoom back to the cabin. It's probably 10:00 PM. Fifteen relatives were there. They're all sitting around the fire outside, you know, drinking, whatever, telling stories, having a good time and we got like five dogs with us because it's three or four families. I think I had two dogs at the time.

So we get back and I'm sitting around, of course, telling the story about how that was the worst idea ever because we turned two corners and we were in complete darkness and how I would never ever do anything that stupid again.

We're sitting around and my back is to the cabin and I'm facing the woods. All of a sudden, all of the dogs started to go completely bonkers. They're running around in circles, peeing on themselves, barking. I mean barking, but totally scared. No bark of aggression at all. I mean absolutely totally, they're all going so crazy that everybody corrals their dogs and they had to put their dogs in the cabin and the dogs are still going crazy. They just will not stop. So I'm like, 'What the heck is going on?' And my dog, rest in peace, Nala, she's right next to me but she's just going in circles, going in circles, going in circles and I'm like, 'What's wrong? Relax. Relax. Relax.'

So I look straight ahead in the woods and what I see, and this is how I processed it, I see glowing yellow eyes, two sets. One was probably 11 feet tall and one was probably 12 feet tall and the only reference I have is I coach basketball. I coached basketball for 20 years so I know what 10 feet tall looks like and I know one was 11 feet and one was 12 feet. So I say to myself this must be two owls in the trees. 'Wow, owls... their eyes would be like, you know, close together if it's an owl. These are this far apart (uses fingers to show width) and so I just started to look and I see them blink. I see one of the sets of eyes blink and then it dawns on me what the dogs are afraid of and what they saw and I believe that those same two Sasquatch that I had just seen when we rode around the corner coming back. Those two had covered the distance in roughly minutes to get where they were and they were just outside of our fire and everything else but they were legit right there watching us and that's why the dogs went absolutely berserk because they also saw the same two Sasquatch that I saw up north in Vanderbilt, Michigan."

STRANGE LIGHTS Recorded Over Apache Junction, Arizona (VIDEO)

On February 10, 2022, Youtuber, El Jeffe Lefty, recorded some amazing footage of objects hovering in the evening sky. In his description for the video, which he uploaded on February 14, 2022, he wrote:

“Was way out east in Apache Junction when I saw these lights over the valley.”

The video seems to show what appears initially to be three lights. They drift about very slowly, moving up and down. Eventually a fourth appears. Followed by a fifth which is very faint. And then a sixth. At least two of the objects come very close to each other, brightening as they do. It appears almost like a dance in the sky amongst these objects.

Interestingly, others chimed in with their own sightings of similar crafts:

“Saw this in southern California, up in Rancho Palos Verdes in Jan of 2020,” wrote Jessi Leeanne. “It was the buzz of next door. Got it on film too. Officials said they were helicopters. What I saw moved in ways a helicopter could never. We were buzzed by black no logos and sheriff's helicopters on the hill. They stayed stationary and just flew in circles above us. When stationary they were facing those lights in the sky. This went on two nights in a row.”

Another person using the name SSGUSA wrote:

“Same thing I saw for over an hour in Afghanistan in February 2010. Then again at Ft. Lewis, Washington in 2012. Again in 2017 over Tacoma. Always with other witnesses. When I asked our S2 (Intelligence) about them I was told I didn’t see them.”

User, Ben, wrote:

“Same from eastern Belgium on the last days of November last year. Behavior was only slightly different but also five orangish lights doing slow movements in all directions, vanishing and reappearing for two hours. Had the luxury of watching them with binocs at various magnifications, only dots because of size and/or distance. They were in the northeast and the next day I found a video of a single orange light filmed over Germany, in a city that was precisely in the northeast and at the distance, I had estimated for the UFOs. By the way, "officials" telling stupid lies and nonsense about UFOs has been a disgrace for many decades, I can't stand that anymore.”

“That’s the same thing I saw over Camp Pendleton in 2020,” wrote Jason Solis. “We were hiking in the field and we all stopped as this was overhead. None of my instructors knew what it was and we all just speculated. Pretty strange and I feel like I'm crazy if I say anything, I worked in aviation and that’s not like anything I’ve ever seen. Although I’m not that knowledgeable.”

No surprise, the skeptics joined the discussion chiming in with the usual explanation stand–by–flares, followed by the predictable backslapping from other skeptics. Thankfully people were quick to point out that flares don't burn the way the objects in the video do. Nor do flares explain how the objects seem to be interacting with each other.

Another suggested that they were just planes coming in to land:

“It looks like there's a bunch of planes waiting to land. see it all the time outside O'Hare,” wrote Matt Majcan.

Another user, Ron Wade, pointed out:

“While Sky Harbor is west of his location, commercial airliners also have navigation lights that strobe both red and green. These are not military flares and surely don't look to be descending into Sky Harbor.”

Another user pointed out that the person filming isn't “freaking out” suggesting, somehow, that this proves that they must be hoaxing:

“Anybody else finds it strange that whoever is filming this isn't freaking out. If it were me filming what I thought was a UFO in the sky I wouldn't be able to hold the phone so steady. It's almost like his phone is on a tripod. That would be a strange coincidence, don't you think?” noted a user named dripping silence. Granted, had he been shaky and “freaking out”, no doubt the same skeptic would deem it fake based on those parameters."

Thankfully, El Jeffe Lefty himself opted to respond: 

“Well as the person filming, I can tell you that I record entire concerts holding my phone without shaking. They were lights in the sky, probably 30 miles away as best I could tell. From that distance, it could be literally anything so I wasn’t jumping to conclusions about UFOs. Some people do have the ability to be calm and rational in real life. I never said in the video title or description anything about UFOs, only mentioned“lights.”

GOGGLED WINGED HUMANOID Gliding Over Mesa, Arizona Suburb

On Christmas Day, a man and his father observe what looked like a hang glider on a nearby football field. They then observe a humanoid in a smooth gray suit gliding in the air above them.

I recently received the following account:

"Dear Lon.

I thought it was about time to send this humanoid encounter from Mesa, Arizona.

It was Christmas Day, late afternoon. I have a ham in the oven and we were waiting for it to be done. My husband and his dad went to the neighborhood quick mart. They were driving home and turned onto our street which is just down the block from a school. They see what they thought was a hang glider landing on the football field. They remember it's Christmas Day and we live in a very suburban neighborhood less than a mile from downtown. Who would be hang gliding on Christmas Day when the area is full of houses, trees, etc.

They saw a human figure gliding in the air about 100 yards above the ground and the car was about 30 yards from it. My husband describes it like this. It was light gray as if it is a smooth suit, with no scales or bumps. It seemed to be wearing goggles. He did not see arms. He saw wings behind him, like the ice skater racers in the Olympics, arms close to the body but maneuvering. Its wings were not feathered but does not have any more details. At no time did it unfurl them completely.

The thing seemed to realize that it was being watched and it rose and it suddenly changed direction. My husband tried to trail it in the car but it flew away quickly." JP

NOTE: Interesting sighting. I have no rational explanation for this one. Lon

Creepy & Mysterious ENTITY ENCOUNTER & HUMAN SKELETON DISCOVERY on Oahu, Hawaii

Young Oahu, Hawaii teens encounter an entity that manifests in front of them. They later find a human skeleton in a cave, though not long after, the cave is mysteriously filed in and altered.

“My name is Christian. I'm from Hawaii. I figured you may find this interesting though and to be honest, I just want to share the experience with a group of like-minded individuals after keeping it to myself for so many years.

I'm 32 now this happened to me around the age of 16 (in 2007). I grew up in a small town on the island of Oahu squeezed between the ocean and a long cliff mountain. I lived across the street from where this occurred. In the forest, they butted up against the property of one of my best friend's family. And three or four of my friends got a hold of some wood and built a deck under a huge Kiawe tree on that we put a really big camping tent on. We called it 'the base.' We had a bare mattress on a box spring in there; a coffee table and two old seats we took from an abandoned van we had found on the roadside.

This experience happened probably six months after we set it up. My friend and I were sitting in the tent as usual. I was sitting on the mattress and my buddy was playing a new song he'd been learning on the van seat, closest to the tent door. The other seat sat empty to his right in the corner of the tent. We were there for a while passing the guitar back and forth but as he was sitting there playing and showing me the chords up for this song, the sun was shining on the tent wall behind him and the shadows of the tree branches were gently swaying on the wall.This part is a bit hard to explain but as I was listening to the guitar this specific part of a branch shadow on the tent wall above the empty van seat caught my eye as it looked like there were two eyes on it swaying with the shadow. As soon as I looked directly at the two eyes, a face started to materialize and within probably five seconds there was a fully materialized kid sitting in the chair looking at me. I'd never felt or experienced anything like this before then or since. A chill ran down my body and I got that feeling like my entire skin caught on fire my eyes started welling up with tears and I couldn't breathe.

The kid looked to be about 10 or 11 and wore a very distinct outfit. He was in a brown button-up vest and a white shirt underneath with a super pronounced sharp pointed collar. He had blonde hair combed neatly to the side and pale white skin. He locked eyes with me as I sat there frozen but trying as hard as I could breathe. While I basically started convulsing, my friend looked up and freaked out. He threw the guitar on the bed and grabbed my arm to pull me out of the tent. He was screaming, 'Was that a ghost? What the heck was that?' as we started running through the woods but I still couldn't get any breath into me to respond. I felt like I was choking.

The woods were a tangled mess with tightly packed trees and big patches of head-high grass. We ran/tumbled straight through it instead of taking the tight little trail we normally use. We headed back to our friend's property. When we finally broke out of the forest of the property, our other friend was actually there washing his mom's Tacoma in the driveway. It wasn't a surprise to him that we were coming out of there from the hangout spot but his first words to us as we ran towards him was, 'Holy crap, what did you guys see?' The friend I was with yelled, 'Ghost!' We ran right past him to the main driveway, jumped on our bikes, and without even saying anything, rode in opposite directions to our houses. This was in broad daylight probably two or three in the afternoon.

I rode straight back to my house jumped in bed and just cried. I couldn't shake the feeling. I felt gross and completely creeped out. It's still hard to explain the feeling it put me in as a teenager growing up in that area. And at the time we pride ourselves on being tough and strong and it was completely out of character for me but this experience completely shook me. I have no explanation for it to this day.

There's more that may or may not be connected to this but a month later, four of us were exploring in the forest probably a quarter mile straight up towards the mountain from the base which was actually just a steep 200-foot overgrown rock cliff that ran the length of our town above the forest. We found a small cave. It was a ground level about knee-high and probably six feet wide. It looked like it went in a good way. We were all super surprised that we had never seen it before because we thought we knew every inch of this forest. Just to the right of the cave is a small pile of rocks that had crumbled down from the cliff and a piece of bone was laying between two of the rocks. I thought it was part of a bird's skull since we very often found them and always brought them back to the base and had a pretty large collection at that point. I grabbed it, pulled it up from between the rocks and it turned out to be the front of a human skull. The back was broken off but it was the forehead, both eye sockets, nose, and teeth. As soon as we all realized what it was, it felt like I got hit with an electric shock. I dropped the skull and we were all losing our minds at the find. My heart felt like it was exploding out of my chest and I was shaking uncontrollably.

We all got down, looked into the cave afterward, and saw the rest of the skeleton inside. The rib cage was closest to the front of the opening and we can see other bones tucked farther back in. They looked old. The strange part of this was that less than a week later we went back to see the skeleton with some other friends and when we got to the spot, the cave was completely filled in with small rocks that fit together perfectly like a tight-fitting rock wall completely filling the cave opening without any mortar. And directly in front of it was a Ti plant that wasn't there before but it didn't look like it was planted recently. It looked like it had grown out of the ground right there.

Ti leaves are used to wrap around stones to be left in the forest as offerings to the spirits just as some context as to the plant that was there. This area was behind my friend's property and was really only accessible through the property and we still have no explanation as to how anyone could have come within the week to wall up the cave and plant the Ti plant or have even known that we found the skeleton. Having that happen paired with us having the kid materialize in the tent with us is almost too strange and should not be connected somehow.”

BIGFOOT Photographed From Colorado Rockies Tourist Train (VIDEO)

A passenger aboard a tourist train in the Colorado Rockies captured a photograph that appears to be a large figure standing among the trees. The photo was reportedly taken by a man named Brian as he was riding the Georgetown Loop Railroad, which runs approximately two miles through the Rocky Mountains. Although the image was captured back in September 2022, it came online this past week when he shared it with the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization. Apparently, he did not notice the original capture until later when looking through the photos.

VIDEO PROVIDED

An online search failed to find any photos of a Bigfoot as seen by a passenger aboard the Georgetown Loop Railroad. This would seem to suggest that the 'statue theory' is rather unlikely unless Brian was somehow the first person to spot it. What are your thoughts?

Maned UPRIGHT CANINE / DOGMAN Encountered in Monongalia County, West Virginia

A Tennessee man visiting a friend in Monongalia County, West Virginia, encounters an upright canine not far from Cheat Lake. The incident prompted him to contact me for my opinion.

"Hi, thank you for reading my email. I am reaching out to you for an opinion. It has to do with an experience I had.

I was driving west on Morgan Run Rd, near Lubbuck Lane in Monongalia County, WV. This is close to Cheat Lake. It happened on June 8, 2016, around 7:30pm. I was on my way back to my friend's house.

After I drove past Lubbuck Lane, I noticed a tall figure move out, then back into the trees. I wasn't driving fast, so I got a good look at it, though it's still hard for me to believe what I saw.

It turned back and looked at me. I swear it was a wolf standing on two legs. The head was huge with dark long hair. The body was almost like that of a powerful man, but it still had the characteristics of a wolf. I didn't get a good look at the legs but they were definitely shaped like a wolf. Very muscular arms with human-like hands and very long fingers or claws. When it looked at me the eyes seemed to twinkle or shine as the head moved. The face was a wolf's face. Same snout and ears with a thick neck.

I believe it had something in the right hand but the body blocked it from my view. It just looked at me for a few seconds and then took a few steps into the brush. That was all I saw.

I found some of the sightings reported to you on Google. I didn't notice any from West Virginia, but since this is near Pennsylvania, so I thought you might be interested.

I haven't talked to anyone about this. This beast looked evil and I'm not really sure I should have reported this. But it would be interesting if others had reported seeing something like this in the same area. JM"

NOTE: The witness asked that I not post anything until we talked. I called the witness (JM) and picked up a few more details. The witness lives in Tennessee and was visiting a friend at the time this sighting occurred. As far as JM could tell, the hair was black and dark grey, long around the head, and there was a distinct mane that ran down its back. The waist and torso were stockier and more muscular than most other reports we have received. JM estimates the height to be at least 7ft. He emphasized how large the head and neck were, telling me it reminded him of a 'Spanish Fighting Bull without the horns.' This location is 3-4 miles south of the WV-PA line (Fayette County). Lon

Arkansas Outdoorsman's Overwhelming BIGFOOT INTUITION in the Ozarks

A longtime outdoorsman in northwest Arkansas writes me about his intuition when he believed that a Bigfoot would be nearby. I have heard similar experiences from people in the past.

I recently received the following account:

"My father worked at NASA's Johnson Space Flight Center. As a teenager growing up in the suburbs of Houston, Texas I was also able to make my way into the great outdoors. I was a Boy Scout and we would take numerous camping trips throughout Texas, the Hill Country, and the Piney Woods. My mother's parents owned a ranch in northeast Texas and it was a frequent family destination for holidays and sometimes just for a family vacation. I learned how to fish, hunt, and pitch a tent and basic survival skills at an early age. I would often take treks into the woods by myself without a care in the world.

Thinking back on certain events that happened back then I now look back on it with a different viewpoint mostly because what I'm about to tell you is my later experience in the Ozark National Forest at night and it has profoundly changed the way I look at my life.

I moved to northwest Arkansas in 2005. My brother and mother had earlier moved to Rhea's Mill, Arkansas. I would frequently fish at Lake Lincoln. I would often park my truck a short walking distance from the dam and then walk up and fish from the dam bank. During one visit I began to work my way off the dam and into some thick brush and trees to get to the larger boulder protruding over the lake's bank. As I approached the tree line I began to have an eerie feeling. It came over me out of nowhere. Now I've been in the woods alone many times before and have never felt this sensation. I quickly grabbed my rod and reel along with my tackle box and I made it back to my truck. I've not been back to Lake Lincoln since a year later around 2007.

I had moved 40 minutes from my mother's place. I had just gone into business for myself, I was single, and lived alone. I would often get bored and would take drives throughout the mountains and sometimes even at night. One late night, I decided I need to get out for a long ride. I was going to head to my mother's place. I started down the freeway and then exited off onto Highway 16. I continued down highway 16 for about 20 miles and then I turned left onto  County Road 33 and then it would just be another 10 miles or so before turning off to get to my mother's home. I went across the Illinois River bridge and made a sharp curve to the left. It went up a steep hill and then entered the Ozark National Forest. It was dark, only my headlights lighting up my way. At the time there was no cell service. I was smack dab in the middle of nowhere.

I reached Weddington Lake. As I began to climb up the next hill I remembered there was a small pull-off lookout to my left and I needed to relieve myself. I pulled my truck over across the oncoming lane and onto the lookout shoulder. I left my motor running along with my headlights. I stepped out leaving my truck door open and I began to relieve myself. To the right of me, there was somewhat of a cliff overseeing a small pond on the opposite side of the lake which was to my left. I found myself fixated on that ridge top. I then had this overwhelming feeling come over me. The hairs on the back of my neck began to stand up and goosebumps were running down my arms. There was a strong feeling that someone or something was watching me. I was standing outside of a lit-up truck in the middle of nowhere and I was a sitting duck. I quickly finished, jumped into my truck, threw it into drive, and I squealed my wheels up the hill.

Some years later I married and had become a father. My family and I went hiking through the same lake but on the other side. There was a rock-covered enclosure that the parks and recreation had built some years back. While there, those same eerie feelings came back. Something wasn't right. I kept it to myself and we finished our day of fun.

A short time later I found myself researching Bigfoot sightings in Arkansas. A significant sighting had been documented in that same area just prior to my roadside event. I also read of a sighting of a red-headed bigfoot digging in the sand underneath a bridge along the Illinois River. I come to find out that sightings had been documented all over this area dating back many years. I then began to think of my childhood and the things began to add up, like the time my grandmother would tell my brother and me as kids not to venture back into certain parts of the wooded areas. Also, the times' grandpa's bird dogs would go into a barking frenzy in the middle of the night and he would step outside, shooting a shotgun into the air.

I can't adventure into the woods much anymore, certainly not alone and certainly not at night. I'm a Bigfoot believer. I truly feel that my overwhelming strange feelings were the result of a Bigfoot either watching me or being in the area.
