UFO, GREY ALIEN, & BIGFOOT Converge at Cabin Near Missoula, Montana

This incident occurred in 1999 in Missoula, Montana. The witness, Sue Van Clef, and her brother, Steve, and some friends, Edmund and Brent, had been invited to spend a week at a posh log cabin in Missoula. Their friend Jason had been getting serious about a girl named Tracy and it was she who invited them all to stay at her cabin, which overlooked the valleys. 

On the first night, after dinner, at around 8:30 PM, while sitting outside chatting, drinking coffee, and watching the sun go down, they all noticed a strange object in the sky. Sue states:

“Right there hovering above the meadow at almost the level of the hills, off in the distance, it appeared to be a triangular shape/sphere-shaped like an arrowhead. It had a flashing red light at each point and they flashed at the same time. Slowly the craft started turning until it was pointing right in our direction. We all squealed with nervousness. We all convinced ourselves and each other that it was much too far away and there was no way it could see us."

"Jason got up and turned the outside lights off. The object turned off its lights. When Jason turned them back on again, it did, as well. They did this a few more times with the craft always copying their actions. Then with no warning, it just shot forward and then came to a dead stop overtop of us and when it stopped that quickly it seemed that the momentum made the front end point downwards right at us.”

Terrified, they all rushed into the house and ran around shutting off the lights, locking the doors, and closing the windows and curtains. They had left the coffee plate outside and after some coaxing, Sue and another girl went out to get it. That is when they noticed the plate and the coffee was gone. The cream, sugar, and coffee tins were now empty. They went back inside. They played Monopoly to take their minds off of it.

One of the friends, Brent, went to the kitchen sink and glanced out an opening in the curtain. He screeched, “Oh my God!” and then jumped back. He insisted that he had seen some kind of creature looking in the window (years later, he admitted that he thought it was a Sasquatch but was hesitant to mention it). The friends looked but saw nothing. Later that evening, Sue joined her friends upstairs where they heard what sounded like footsteps on the roof.

“Clear as day I could hear footsteps... not heavy by any means but clear bipedal steps running back and forth like there were almost six to eight kids running around on the roof.”

Everyone agreed to sleep downstairs.

The next morning, Steve and Edmund headed off to fish at the river. Tracy and Jason went upstairs to nap. Downstairs while sitting on the porch with Sue, Brent noticed something in the tree line, watching them and moving around. Sue could not see it when she looked. Brent retrieved a mirror and then had Sue turn around. He then told her to hold the mirror out and look.

“I saw as clear as day what is commonly called a Gray alien. Its big bulbous head was peeking out from behind a tree and I saw its dark almond-shaped eyes and the tiny nose with two very small holes. I'm not sure if it felt me looking at it but it slowly moved back behind the tree.”

Around that time, Edmund and Steve came rushing back insisting that everyone get back in the house, that they had observed a Bigfoot. They revealed that while going to the river to fish, they were followed by something in the woods that matched their footsteps. Once at the river, they caught a large number of fish. When they thought they might be at their limit, they noticed that the basket of fish was empty. They assumed a grizzly had been there and so they began to walk back to the cabin.

“40 feet into the woods of mainly ponderosa pine, they saw the Bigfoot. It walked step by step with them and then it looked over at them and it realized they were watching it. That's when it started walking towards them. They started running and they saw that it was walking as quickly as they ran. When they made it through the woods they got to the clearing they ran with everything they had. They said it was dark brown in color and maybe seven feet tall. Its hair was bushy in spots.”

In the years since Sue and the others believed that the triangular object might have dropped off the alien but they weren't sure about the Bigfoot and assumed it was a coincidence. They returned to the cabin in 2003 when Tracy and Jason got married. They had no further incidents.

Possible 'JERSEY DEVIL' Encounter Near Batsto Village, NJ

A group of friends, who all live in south New Jersey, were exploring the infamous Pine Barrens in hope of finding evidence of the Jersey Devil. They did experience an unexplained sighting.

"I have lived in southern New Jersey all my life, and naturally have heard all the stories about the 'Jersey Devil.' I haven't believed all of them, but I do believe that the Jersey Devil, or something cryptid, is out there.

In the summer of 2006, some friends of mine and I took a ride to the Pine Barrens (about a 30-minute drive). We weren't looking for anything in particular but were hoping we would see something along the lines of 'proof' of the existence of the Jersey Devil.

We were on Bulltown Rd., near Batsto Village where we had heard of a lot of sightings and some strange things going on around there. As we were driving we passed by an old abandoned house and thought nothing of it. After a while of not seeing much aside from deer and an occasional owl, we decided to turn around. As we went by that old house, we saw what appeared to be bright green eyes peering out a window. Armed with just flashlights, we began to drive up to the house, but then the eyes disappeared. Next, a noise caught the attention of me and my friend who was in the front seat with me. She shone her flashlight in time for us to see something swoop over the car. By the time we could react to it, nothing was around. We went outside to investigate, but all that could be found were hoof prints in the sandy soil. The prints were too big to be deer and too small to be horse.

As far as what swooped over the car, it was dark in color but was large, larger than any bird that I know of." L

Creepy 'INVISIBLE HUNTER' Appears on Elmira, NY Trail Cam Image (PHOTO)

On March 12, 2023, an Elmira, NY man, Bob Grandall, checked his game camera and discovered a strange transparent figure in one of the photos. That day he posted the image to his Facebook page.

“So, while looking through my game cam pics today (March 12, 2023), this kind of gave me chills. That is me in the front, then my daughter Cheyanne, and we don't know who the third person is. Zooming in, you can't make out the face, and....the body is transparent! We even compared it to another pic and can see the branch through him. I think I need to call Ghostbusters! I didn’t find any others like that. Tons of wildlife though.

I know the family it has(the property) been in for more than 100 years. I am going to show them that picture and see if they have any info. I think it is cool as hell. Creepy, but cool."

At least one user, Josh Savage, thought the figure might have been a deceased relative:

“This is absolutely AMAZING. I'd say you got a loved one who has passed that is watching over you and your daughter who wants nothing more than to share a hunting experience with his loved ones"

DOGMAN Encountered in the Tapley Woods State Natural Area, Jo Daviess County, Illinois

Lloyd V. wrote about an experience he had involving a Dogman that he encountered in the Tapley Woods State Natural Area in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.

"I'll share my encounter on US 20 at Tapley Woods of a Dogman over roadkill which I documented with another reporting site. Late evening on a weekend trip to see my parents in Galena, Illinois. Five minutes from Tapley Woods State Natural Area (Illinois) driving my cargo van 45 to 50 miles per hour past the rest stop/hunting registration area exit.

On the north of the road going west, I noticed a dark figure stooping over roadkill. It was jet black. When our eyes met, its white burning evil glare shook my soul in absolute fright and knowledge this was not just an animal but demonic. I gunned my old van to the limit as I feared it would chase me because I could feel the stare from the passenger door rear mirror. I pick up two invasive thoughts: “leave” and “forget.”

In five minutes, I was at my parent's home and went to the guest room, closing the shades of a floor-to-ceiling window right next to my bed. I did not think of that experience until I saw an artist's depiction of a canine variant with three all-black and burning-white eyes.

Later I found another account from an elderly couple - a black white-eyed wolfman had run across the road in front of them driving at night on Blackjack Road in the same Jo Daviess County, not more than 20 miles away, 125 miles from the famous Beast of Bray Road incidents.

My brother, who works for the FBI, has also lived in the area with his wife and has said the property security found a dead deer 20 feet in a tree. I think only African leopards stash their prey in trees but nothing does that in North America? I suppose a car could hit something that hard but the winding roads would never let you get up that speed and no reports of a crash. 

After that, in the winter, 500 feet before a convenience store on the road, I saw a giant all-black dog or a wolf. It crossed very casually even though my muffler is a bit loud. I caught up with security just ahead of the wolf and asked if he saw that monster canine in its rearview mirror. “No,” he said. I Googled if wolves were seen in Illinois at that time. Only once in 50 years and if it was a dog there are strict leash laws and fines who would let that out."

UNKNOWN HAIRY HOMINID Observed by U.S. Contractor Near Kamenica, Kosovo

A civilian contractor in Kamenica, Kosovo describes his sighting of a 5 1/2 foot tall slender reddish-haired hominid while stationed at a Forward Observation Base. Interesting account.

Time: 0915 - 15 February 2005

Location: Kosovo, between Kamenica and Gjilan

Hominid: 5 1/2 feet in height, slender, bipedal, reddish-colored hair, heavily matted around buttocks and front groin area. Hair is longer on the head than on the rest of the body. The rest of the hair is 3-4 inches in length. Profile of face flat, and dark-skinned (black). Hands were also black. Did not get a good look at the feet. No visible mammaries or other aids in determining sex.

"I was stationed at the FOB (Forward Observation Base) in Kamenica as a civilian contractor. I was driving one morning from the FOB to Camp Monteith to do a distribution run and pick up laundry and such. Halfway to Camp Monteith, you drive through a heavily wooded and hilly region, but not all that big and still somewhat populated. Hard for me to describe an exact location unless someone is actually familiar with the area.

About 2 miles before you pass a restaurant called 'The Planet.' I witnessed a hairy hominid coming down a fairly steep slope and then crossing the road in front of the vehicle going from my right side to my left side. Nothing like what you hear from the American version of Bigfoot. Not sure what to call it so will stick with a hairy hominid.

This hairy hominid was only around 5 1/2 feet tall. Only an estimate as I was in a 4-wheel drive that sits kind of high. It was slender, bipedal, reddish-colored hair, heavily matted around the buttocks and front groin area. Hair is longer on the head than on the rest of the body. The rest of the hair is 3-4 inches in length. Profile of face flat, and dark-skinned (black). Hands were also black. Did not get a good look at the feet. No visible mammaries or other aids in determining sex. The sighting did not last too long and there was also the shock factor involved. Trying to be as detailed as I can. I only saw the profile of the face but was fairly flat, and very dark. I saw the hands but did not get a real good look at the feet as it moved in front of the vehicle and then across the road and down a slope into a valley. Hands were also very dark. I would say black as far as the face and hands go.

I was curious after this happened. I was afraid of ridicule from my workmates and feared for my security clearance, so I kept quiet about it. But after finally talking to my wife about it I feel I can share it with like-minded people.

Does anyone know if hominids have a history of sightings in the Balkans or around Kosovo? I tried an internet search and came up empty. I hope I was thorough enough or detailed enough." RK

Esoteric Subjects Abound

Long John Nebel’s Party Line radio program brought its listeners numerous experts in many fields who, in turn, delivered to them substantial knowledge on a wide variety of esoteric and certainly controversial subjects.  

Hypnosis Explained

Two such experts who were frequently brought to the Party Line were the world-famous Hungarian hypnotist, Dr. Franz Julius Polgar, a practicing psychologist in New York City who obtained his Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Hungary in Budapest; and Joseph Edelman, the president of the National Federation of Hypnotists who gained a significant degree of fame in the boroughs of New York City after he successfully used hypnosis to rid Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Don Newcombe of his flying phobia in 1957, just one year before he and his team moved out to Los Angeles, California.  

The sundry programs on hypnosis proved quite informative to Long John’s radio audience, for they learned what hypnotism was as well as some of the secrets of the great hypnotists.  Most of the listeners knew about the use of hypnosis in stage shows; but thanks to Long John’s program, they began to appreciate the therapeutic use of hypnosis in the laboratory or doctor’s office by degreed and accredited psychologists.  In years to come, hypnosis would also become an important tool for trained psychologists in investigating and evaluating the claims of the alleged victims of alien abductions.  

Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP)

Long John Nebel also had the foremost authority in the world on extra-sensory perception (ESP) on his program, Dr. Joseph B. Rhine, the head of the Department of Parapsychology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.  Many Party Line listeners called in to explain occasions where they experienced hunches or premonitions that came true.   Dr. Rhine took the time to explain to both Long John Nebel and his audience just how far science had come in studying these types of phenomena, and just how far science still had to go in the investigation of these still largely unexplored qualities inherent in the human mind.  Interestingly, Long John noted that those contactees with a background in Theosophy, like George Adamski or Dorothy Martin, a.k.a. “Sister Thedra,” also pointed out that one of the reasons for the extraterrestrial presence on Earth was to work behind the scenes to help select individuals develop some of the psychic powers that were latent within them, so that they, in turn, could use their new-found psychic powers to help elevate the levels of consciousness of the whole human species.

Controversies

An occasional but extremely charged controversial topic was not out of bounds for Long John Nebel and WOR’s Party Line radio program.  One program that generated a great deal of “heat,” so to speak, dealing with the subject of euthanasia, commonly called “mercy killing.”  When another human being is suffering horribly from a pain from which there is no medical relief, and they specifically ask for help in terminating their life, is it morally permissible for one to help such a friend pass over onto the “other side of the veil,” as it were?  And back in the second half of the 1950s, many people unfamiliar with the concept of reincarnation were introduced to it by sundry guests on Long John Nebel’s Party Line.  Yet another controversial subject tackled on the program was that of the fluoridation of our drinking water.  Many at that time, and even today, wonder if the alleged benefits outweigh the costs and risks in fluoridating our water supplies.  And let us not forget the performance of unnecessary surgery.  Even today, this is still a critical issue that requires more discussion by all involved in the healthcare process, both informed patients and medical personnel.  Yes, nobody else on the air was talking about these subjects, on radio or television, so we see how Long John Nebel was filling a vital societal role.

Format

When Long John Nebel was first given the late night time slot, WOR management did not think the show would last because radio surveys showed that not enough people were awake during those hours to make it profitable for advertisers.  However, at that time, the all-night music format of most stations was putting their listeners to sleep.  But the lively panel discussions and engaging topics of the Party Line were consistently drawing in new listeners and expanding the audience base substantially.  Apart from the insomniacs, very few marketers realized just how many people worked at night, i.e., actors, artists, cabbies, doctors, milkmen, nurses, truck drivers, writers, etc., and that all these people kept their radios on in the background, closely paying attention to the Party Line to find out what Long John Nebel and the experts had to say on almost any uncanny subject like the value of taking vitamins or even the Venusians who clandestinely live among us and walk our streets.

Multiple SCREAMING BIGFOOT Encounters Reported by Hunters at Carson Lake, Colorado

Two Colorado hunters set up camp along Carson Lake in Grand Mesa. While setting up, they start to hear high-pitched, continuous screams from across the lake that seems to be getting closer.

I recently received the following account:

"This incident occurred at Carson Lake in the Grand Mesa National Forest of Colorado. The lake sits on the edge of what is called Lands Edge on the Grand Mesa. A friend and I were hunting. We had hiked down the Khanna Creek Trail to look for game. We had spent most of the day on a stand.

We made our way back to my truck but decided to stay the night so we could hunt in the early morning and then go home. We were getting things set up for camp, building a fire, and getting food out to cook. I had a pop-up camper and I had just got it up and situated when my friend said, "What the heck is that sound?' He had never spent as much time in the woods as I had so he was freaked out instantly. I came out of the camper and asked him what was the problem. That is when I heard it.

It's hard to explain how it sounded. It was a high-pitched, but deep, scream that lasted for long periods off and on. The sound goes up and down in volume. Whatever it was sounded angry for some reason. At first, I didn't give it much thought. I had heard mountain lion screams and that will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. But this sound went on and on, pausing for short moments as if to catch its breath.

My friend was really freaked out now. I said to him it's just a lion or two lions across the lake. This did not calm him down much. I had my sidearm on me so I pulled it out and shot off a round in the air during the screaming. Then it was silent. I told him I scared it away. I started to go about getting food out so we could eat.

The daylight was fading to the point where you can't quite see details across the lake. But you can still see movement and other features. About a minute after firing off the round in the air, the screaming started again. This time it was closer, but still across the lake. It seemed more pissed off, as if it was very mad we were here. We could hear the brush shaking and raking but we could not see it, but just hear it. Now I'm getting freaked out because of what just happened. It was coming closer. You would think that a gunshot would scare game away, not bring it in closer.

My friend is really getting freaked out and wants to leave immediately. I tell him we have high-powered rifles and we will be safe. The whole time we're talking about leaving the screaming is going on.

I eventually gave in to him wanting to leave and started to pack up camp. This took some time for us to do maybe 10 minutes or so. During this time the screaming continued. We got everything loaded up in a hurry, buttoned up the camper, and got in the truck. I started it up and left. It was now dark and the headlights were the only lights beside the stars. The drive up and out of the lake had a few switchbacks. I stopped at one to see if the screaming was still going on. It was not. We drove out of there and down the mountain, not saying a word.

We had stopped to get a bite to eat. We felt unsure of what we had experienced. Both of us decided not to say anything to anyone. I know I didn't say anything to anyone for a very long time I am unsure if my friend has said anything to anyone. I have watched shows on TV about Bigfoot since then. Some of the shows had recorded sounds of what they said was a Bigfoot. To me, it sounded like what I had heard at the lake.

I have a friend that had a similar experience in this same area at a later time. My friend said it was at night when he saw something tall and large cross the road. Also, during the day, he found some very large tracks. Some other friends said that they heard some screaming that sounded a lot like what I described in the area. They didn't tell the rest of the hunting party about what they heard until later when the rest of them heard these screams in the middle of the night. It was loud enough to wake them up.

The Grand Mesa, Colorado area has had a lot of strange happenings and vocalizations. A follow-up investigation by a BFRO investigator stated that many reports have been made from the general area."JJ

6-7 Foot Long SMOOTH-SKINNED CRYPTID Observed in the Upper Potomac River

A family was in their boat fishing along the Potomac River in Washington County, MD. The witness and his grandfather observe a large smooth-skinned aquatic creature rolling in the water.

The following report was recently forwarded to me:

"This incident took place in 1993. I was in a fishing boat with my father, and grandfather, in the Potomac River in the Sideling Hill Wildlife Management Area (Washington County, Maryland). We had been on my father's boat fishing for a few hours already. My father's girlfriend was also on the boat, which wasn't all that large maybe the size of a regular sedan vehicle.

Anyway, my father and his girlfriend were looking out towards the front of the boat, and I and my granddad were fishing off the back half of the boat. I and my grandfather were simply talking about whatever and fishing when all of a sudden we looked about maybe 20 yards away from where we were and I see it. I'm not too sure what "it" was but I'll try to describe what I saw.

I saw a creature about the size of a large alligator, maybe 6-7 feet in length. But the creature was definitely not an alligator. It had a grayish-brown color, and smooth skin, like that of a dolphin. I remember seeing flippers on it, but I don't remember how many, although I do know it was more than 2. I never actually saw its head or tail, just its midsection. I didn't know what it was doing but I remember seeing the creature sort of rolling around as an alligator or crocodile would do while trying to bite a chunk of flesh off an animal. I remember comparing what I saw to a log rolling in the water.

The animal rolled for a few seconds and then disappeared before either one of us could call my dad to check it out. I remember after seeing it both me and my grandfather looked at each other in disbelief. My father always did think we were just playing. I know what I saw and it freaked me out. More so because I had been swimming in that same area a few days before the incident.

To this day I don't know what it was." BT

SASQUATCH? Intriguing UNIDENTIFIED CREATURE & FOOTPRINT PHOTOS From Sparwood, BC Area (VIDEO)

A hunter in Sparwood, BC, Canada had set out several trail cameras in areas of game activity. He captured an image of an unidentified gray-silver-colored-haired creature.

He also posted in the video provided several tree structures and an interesting footprint in the mud.

The area is well-known for Sasquatch activity.

What creature was captured in the trail cam photo? I believe that this may have been a bear. But, the photo is interesting nonetheless.

The track is most likely from a Sasquatch, and not the creature captured on the trail cam. Your thoughts? Lon

Is the Legendary BEAST OF BLADENBORO Roaming Green Swamp Preserve, NC?

A Bladen County, North Carolina man is hunting in the Green Swamp Preserve. As he is making his way out of the area, he is followed by what he believes was the Beast of Bladenboro.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"In the town of Bladenboro, North Carolina, just 8 miles southwest of Elizabethtown where I stay, it was said a demon cat from hell used to stalk the woods killing livestock and making the locals scared. Then it suddenly disappeared. That's what they say anyway, we know it didn't.

To this day there have been reports of something that looks like an abnormally large mountain lion with blood-red eyes and fur as black as night. Its cries have been compared to that of a woman being torn apart and screaming for her life. Luckily it only has a taste for goats and cows, or so we think anyway. I will tell you there have been a few people that have gone missing. Some have been found and to hear some of the police tell the story the bodies were torn to shreds. It's not just located in Bladenboro like most think. It goes from Bladen Lakes State Forest to the Green Swamp Preserve area which covers 3 counties and 1,225 square miles.

A friend of mine was hunting one day down in Green Swamp Preserve when it started getting dark. If you hunt in this area you know you've got to be out of the woods before dark by law. So he climbed down from his tree stand and began the long walk through the swamp and underbrush to where he parked his truck. Now my friend is a cornbread-fed southern boy and has the size to prove it. Standing 6 feet 6 inches with a weight of 260 pounds of pure farmhand muscle. He isn't small by any standards. So he learned not to be scared of anything. He said what happened next made him never want to go in the swamp hunting again.

Making his way through the brush he said he began hearing something walking through the woods toward him. He stopped to listen for it and said it sounded like a large black bear so he got his gun ready just in case. When he stopped it stopped, when he walked it walked. He said it made him nervous because whatever it was knew he was there and won't be running off. He said he started making noise and even shot his shotgun in the air. It didn't leave. Instead, it let out a growl he said you could feel as much as hear. All the way through the woods it stayed just behind him out of sight.

When he came out of the woods onto the dirt road he said his truck was about 50 yards down from him. He decided it was a pretty good chance that whatever it was following him was going to keep following or make a move on him there, so he took off running, It took off running too. He said it sounded like a bulldozer was crashing through the woods and when it broke from the woods it sounded like a horse running through loose dirt. He could hear the stomps of its feet and the growling in its breath. He didn't have to look back to know it was coming and catching up to him. He shot behind him hoping it would scare it enough to stop for a moment and give him a chance to make it to the truck. When he did he said he must have hit it because it screamed and for a moment he thought it was a person. That's when he finally turned around.

He said it was jet black, as big as a 600-pound black bear, with a tail as long as its body, and eyes that were glowing red. He hit it and it was just standing there looking at him as if to say now you've done it. He bolted to the truck and jumped in. Just as he shut the door he looked and it was right there. He said it was so close its breath was fogging the window.

By now he said he was shaking badly and it was everything he could do to get the key in the ignition and start the motor. He drives a Ford F350 4-wheel drive that was raised up so that there's a good 2 feet of clearance under the truck. He said this thing was on all 4 feet and looking eye-to-eye with him in his truck. The engine started and he took off like a bat out of hell. He said it chased him as hard as it could until he picked up speed and stopped and watched him drive off.

The next day he and his dad went back with guns and looked around for tracks, blood, or even a dead body. He said there was no blood even though he knows it was shot, and there were paw prints as big as his hands on the ground everywhere. Then they found a tree that 9 feet up had claw marks 1 inch deep in the wood spaced 4 inches apart from each other. They didn't venture into the woods, nor did they go too far from the truck. Both of them said they felt as though they were being watched and didn't want to stick around to find out what it was. They got back in the truck and that's when they heard it. A scream from the woods off in the distance. He said it was like a woman screaming bloody murder. It let him know it was there waiting.

Yep, there are many dark secrets in the woods. Charlie Daniels even wrote about these woods in one of his songs. If you ever get adventurous and want to try your luck come on down to Green Swamp. And when the sun goes down get real quiet. You might hear that scream. I hope when you do it's off in the distance and not close by. Because if it is, well, it might just be the last sound you hear."
