Unique Panelists
Panelists on Long John Nebel’s Party Line were just as unique as the program’s guests. All of the regular panelists on the show were living in the New York City metropolitan area, and among these were:
Bill Preston, Artist, and Comedian
Bill Preston, an artist, and comedian, first came to the attention of Long John Nebel when he read a newspaper account of Preston’s visit to Mexico in order to paint the bullfights but ended up fighting the bull himself.
William Neff, Magician
William Neff was one of the foremost illusionist-magicians in the United States, and in 1957 he was so recognized as being the greatest in that category through his selection as the winner of the Bernadette-Orson Welles Award.
Joseph Markoff, Retired Army Major
Long John Nebel relied heavily on Joseph Markoff for obtaining background information on both the guests and subjects featured on the Party Line program. Nebel described Markoff as a “walking encyclopedia who knows something about everything.” A retired military officer, Markoff had traveled extensively through many countries on duty assignments, picking up much concerning the cultures and languages he encountered along the way.
Mel Schilloni, Semanticist
Mel Schilloni could always be counted on by Long John to ask the most probing and challenging questions. Interestingly, Schilloni considered himself an expert on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes books.
“Tex” Dumont, Science Writer and Ghostbuster
“Tex” Dumont was a pseudonym to protect this popular science writer’s real identity. Long John considered Dumont his primary authority on extra-sensory perception (ESP) and poltergeists, i.e., those annoying ghosts who toss plates around and generally create havoc among the human beings so unfortunate enough to run into them. Naturally, back in the late 1950s, if the editors of the newspapers and science journals who published Dumont’s articles knew that he was investigating ESP, ghosts, and other psychic phenomena, he would most certainly receive a pink slip and find himself in the unemployment line.
Roy Benson, Comedian
Roy Benson was a popular nightclub comic on the New York City scene.
David Bell, Psychologist
Besides being an accredited psychologist, David Bell was also considered to be a scholar in all areas related to the higher functions of the human mind.
Charles Leedham, Investigative Journalist
Charles Leedham, an investigative journalist, always approached the subjects discussed on the Party Line in a skeptical vein.
Morris Paley, Police Sergeant
Morris Paley was a police sergeant in the Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Police Department. When guests or topics dealt with possible infringements of the law, the presence of Sergeant Paley on the panel proved most effective in getting to the truth of the situation.
Occasional Panelists
While all of the above regular panelists lived in the greater New York City area, the following panelists, living further afield, would occasionally visit Long John Nebel in the WOR studio when they happened to be visiting the metropolis, or especially called in for Long John to tap their expertise: Richard Himber (band leader); Ivan T. Sanderson (animal trapper and cryptozoologist); Will Oursler (religion and inspirational writer); and Jules B. St. Germain (attorney).
Some Remarkable Guests
One who lived back in the day when Long John Nebel ruled the radio airwaves might rightly acknowledge that every guest on the Party Line had something remarkably “off-beat” to say about a subject that would never be discussed on any other radio stations at the time, being then considered as “taboo” by most American and Canadian listeners. A few of the more popular guests included:
Harriet M. Shelton, Medium
Harriet reportedly spoke with Abraham Lincoln on a daily basis. Sometimes when she was on the Party Line, she would even channel Lincoln’s comments on some of the more dire contemporary issues. She even wrote a book containing a collection of the messages she channeled from the late Civil War president, Abraham Lincoln Returns (New York City: Evans Publishing Company, 1957). When Long John asked her what Lincoln thought about paranormal phenomena, she noted that she had channeled this message from him in 1955, “To believe in what you can see and touch is no belief at all; but to believe in the unseen is a triumph and a blessing.”
Dr. Frederic Wertham, Psychiatrist
This doctor devoted his life to crusading against the alleged corrupting influence that comic books exercised over the minds of children everywhere. Dr. Wertham explained why he thought comic books were so pernicious: “They give children motivation and exact details for accomplishing murder, rape and other forms of anti-social behavior.” When Long John asked him to provide some examples, the psychiatrist denoted four DC Comics characters: Superman, Batman and Robin, and Wonder Woman. Apparently, Superman is representative of a master race, inspiring fascist and racist tendencies, a la Friedrich Nietzsche. Batman and Robin are leading children into the consideration of a homosexual lifestyle, and even worse, pedophilia. And as for Wonder Woman, always being tied up by a villain, she was apparently being set up for rape or acts of sexual deviance carried out against her will. The doctor’s frequent castigations of the comic book industry were in large part responsible for the adoption of self-regulation by the sundry comic book publishers in the Comics Code Authority (CCA) rules and placement of the CCA stamp on the cover of many comic books. This was a preemptive move by the CCA made in 1954 and expanded thereafter to more and more comic book titles as Congress was getting ready to enact laws and impose legislation if the industry failed to clean itself up.
Long John Nebel’s Background
Long John Nebel first came to the attention of WOR radio management back in 1951 when its vice-president, Bob Leder, read an article about him and his powers as a highly effective salesman in an issue of Argosy magazine. Written by that magazine’s correspondent, Pierce Fredericks, it inspired Leder to drive out to Nebel’s Auction Barn in Parsippany, New Jersey, and interview the suave, Chicago-born gentleman. Leder was looking for new blood in the then-flagging commercial radio industry, somebody that management could count on to peddle sundry wares via the airwaves, generating advertising revenue for the station.
Nebel acquired the nickname “Long John” back in his elementary school days, as he was the tallest and thinnest among his classmates. After completing the eighth grade, at the age of eleven, he quit school to illegally sell fireworks. When his father, a medical doctor, discovered what his son was up to, he forced him to find other employment. Long John then decided to leave home and join the circus, signing on as a clown. From his circus experience, he went on to manage Siamese twins in a freak show and then took a turn as a magician. After the circus arrived in New York City, Long John stayed on, whence he became a self-made expert in telepathic communication and fortune-telling. Tired of living on the edge all of the time, but realizing that he could sell almost anything, he put his savings to work in purchasing a general story in Parsippany, New Jersey, where he converted it into an auction house. From then on, Long John began his illustrious career of buying, trading, and selling everything under the Sun and, in the process, amassing a small fortune for himself.
His fascination with the occult rose from his work as a magician, fortune teller and mind reader. When Leder offered him the job of conducting his own program at WOR, pending the approval of the station’s board of directors, it came as no surprise that the focus was going to be on all aspects of the supernatural.

ALMOND-COLORED ALIEN 'GREYS' Approach US Marine in Okinawa, Japan
A US Marine was guarding ammunition while stationed in Camp Schwab in Okinawa, Japan. He is approached by several almond-colored alien 'Greys' that tried to communicate with him.
The following account was forwarded to me:
"While I was in the Marine Corps stationed in Okinawa, Japan in 1995, I was at a shooting range near Camp Schwab guarding ammunition (sometime in August). I had just done a radio check at about 9:05 PM with range control to let them know everything was OK. I pulled my poncho up over my whole body because of the bugs attacking me.
The next thing I know my poncho is pulled off of me and I see what would be called a typical "Grey" looking alien, except that its skin was more of an almond color (it was a very bright night with a full moon) standing over me with what looked like four others behind him. What shocked me, even more, was that it talked to me, but it sounded like one of those adult characters on the "Peanuts" cartoons - like "wha wha wha." I remember just becoming unhinged, jumping up, and starting screaming when it talked to me and then it just disappeared along with the others.
The other guy guarding ammo with me, woke up when he heard me scream and asked what was wrong. I told him what had just happened and he looked at me like I was crazy. I then noticed that it was 10:45 PM, and I was like what the heck. I know that I did not fall asleep because it was my turn on the radio watch. I know that I did not dream this, but cannot account for the missing time. I did not want to radio in what just happened for fear of getting a psych evaluation, even though an intruder near an ammunition dump is serious and should have been called in. The other Marine with me said that he was asleep the whole time and did not see or hear anything until I started screaming and jumping around.
I kept quiet about this incident for a few days but it was bothering me so much that finally about a week later I told a couple of my friends about it. A good friend of mine that had been out there a day before, said that almost the same thing happened to him, except that he had chased it into the ammo tent and when he was just about to shoot it, it just disappeared. He said that he was also afraid to say anything because he thought that people would think that he was crazy. I never saw any bright lights or alien spacecraft, just the aliens." PK

Unknown UPRIGHT TENTACLED ENTITY Stalks Witness at Home
A resident living near Spokane, Washington, encountered an upright tentacled entity, The creature was aware of the eyewitness' presence and kept an eye on them. Very bizarre incident.
I received the following account:
"It was April 16, 2012. I live near Spokane, Washington. I was returning home at about 4 am when just off to the left of my driveway something stood up in the field and looked at me. When it saw me stop, get out, and look in its direction it then ran or squirmed across the street into the trees.
At first, I thought a deer, but it was upright and running in a weird way, like an octopus. I think I saw it dragging one tentacle. It then went from tree to tree like it was circling me, so I walked very quickly to the house making sure not to take my eyes off of it. When it was going from tree to tree it would stop at that tree and peek at me from one side or the other then move to the next tree and do the same thing at each tree.
So when I went in the house I grabbed a flashlight to see if it was a person. Mind you I live in the country so I don’t really think someone was sleeping in my field and dragged their sleeping bag across the street. Another thing that helps me know it was not human, was when I shined my flashlight on it its eye shined green, not red like a human would. After I saw the eye color I went back into the house waiting for it to try to get in or peek in my windows so I laid on my couch looking, waiting, and listening. Nothing happened, so I just tried to go to sleep and get over it. By this time I was in denial and thought 'ok it was a deer.'
The next morning I thought about what I saw and walked out to the field where I saw it. There was nothing but I remembered what it looked like it was upright and a light shade of blue which could have been from the moonlight. It was really skinny and tall with a teardrop-shaped head that kind of just formed into the body, no shoulders, and long arms that looked like tentacles. But that’s all I remember and now I can say it was flat-out the scariest moment I have ever been through. I have seen ghosts and UFOs but nothing like that. It still scares me just thinking about it to this day.
Just a week or two before my event there were reports of strange lights over one of my city’s neighborhoods that were on the news the next day or the day after. I didn’t think twice about this because I was in denial about what I saw until like two weeks after it all happened. I started realizing that it could be possible that I actually saw an alien putting the two events together." S

'SMILING MAN' on Scary Airliner Flight Results in Interesting Discovery
A bizarre encounter with a 'smiling' man during a scary airliner flight from New Orleans to NYC prompts the witness to research a deadly airline crash that occurred in NYC on the day of his birth.
“I was born on the evening of June 24, 1975, in New York City, one month prematurely while my parents were there visiting my mother's family in various East Coast locations from our home in St Louis, MO. In 2015, a friend of mine took me to New Orleans for a few days prior to my birthday as a gift. We had a great time and had tickets to fly home in the early afternoon on my birthday.
The flight out of Louis Armstrong Airport was uneventful except for two things. The first was an older guy sitting beside us who kept looking our way. He had what I can only describe as a gentle smile on his face. I didn't feel creeped out so much, but it was just weird to have him spend so much time looking our way in silence.
The next thing was when we started to descend for landing. The plane started to shake and jolt terribly. My buddy and I looked at each other with that 'Oh f--k' expression. I glanced past my friend and caught the eye of the man sitting across the aisle. He was looking straight at me, with that grin still on his face. He leaned out from his seat toward ours and said very calmly, in a firm tone, "This one will land just fine." then turned his head and looked forward. That gentle smile never left his face.
From there the ride got really rough, but the plane landed just fine. The pilot came on the intercom and quickly explained that it was some pretty bad wind shear, gave us a weather update, and thanked us for flying. Everyone on the plane was so stressed I swear I could smell the fear.
As we got our carry-ons out of the overheads I made a point to not even glance at that dude, but I could feel him looking at me. We got off and hustled our butts out of there. Nobody was saying a word. We were all still freaking out. Here is where it gets creepy.
Last year I was reading about air disasters. That experience stuck with me and I developed a bit of an obsession. One day I came across the story of Eastern Airlines Flight 66. The flight left New Orleans in the early afternoon on June 24, 1975, en route to JFK in NYC. The plane crashed on the descent due to severe wind shear, killing 113 people, just hours before I was born, 40 years to the day from my flight with the man and his gentle grin." S

Tucson, AZ Neighborhood FLOODED IN BRIGHT NEON LIME-GREEN LIGHT & Time Stood Still
A young Tucson, Arizona resident describes the day that a bright neon lime-green light flooded his neighborhood and when time seemed to stand still.
I recently received the following account:
"I don't know, if this was an alien sighting, or if it even counts as one, but it's something I experienced several years ago, and just shrugged it off, not thinking that I could be involved in something like this.
It happened during the summer, 6/19/1998 at 16:00 in Tucson, Arizona, and my cousins and I were bored and so we decided to go see a movie. But before we left, I had to finish up a load of laundry.
Now, our house is the middle house in a cul-de-sac, so when we open our garage door, it faces the cul-de-sac and the street that leads into it. Our washing machine and dryer are in there, so when we do the wash, we can see the outside world.
After putting the clothes in the washer I opened the door to the house, to go back inside. The door, that when open, automatically shuts close, real fast. Well, I opened the door, and all of a sudden, my entire garage is flooded with a bright neon lime-green light.
I turn around and see that the entire neighborhood is flooded in this light. Everywhere I looked, everything was covered in this light, as if someone was holding a light, right over our cul-de-sac. I didn't see any object, but after about 10 seconds, of being in the light, this huge shadow came out of nowhere and then flew off to the western sky. And then there was this weird wind (like a suction) and the trees blew along with other debris, to the west and then stopped.
The light "flew" off too, and everything turned back to normal. I turned around and started to walk back into the house. Now, all this time, the door has been opened. And if you recall, I told you that it was one of those sprung doors, that shut as quickly as it opened. Well, right then and there, the door shut, right over my left foot, ripping up the nail on my big toe.
The Dr. said, the nail would never grow back, because the nerves had been lifted out, but it did, and to this day, my toe has a nail. Something, my Dr. said was a "miracle." I don't know what it was that happened that day, but I always thought, that it had something to do with an alien. So, I was wondering if you can shed some sort of information on this, and tell me if you have another experience such as this, recorded." NN
NOTE: There wasn't much I could tell the experiencer. It does seem that they did have an otherworldly encounter. Lon

Muscular Bloodsucking GARGOYLE Reported on Mount Barceloneta, Spain
They find bled birds in their town and blame it on a strange animal, a supposed bloodsucking Gargoyle that has been seen by different witnesses in the town of Barceloneta, Spain.
For the cave expert, Edgardo Santiago, there is more than one gargoyle in his neighborhood. In the photo, he shows the drawing of what he saw.
A group of neighbors, led by Edgardo "Nino" Santiago Rodríguez, went in search of "the gargoyle" that has left some fifty birds without a drop of blood in the town of Barceloneta. the group climbed a nearby mountain where they believed the animal that has been merciless against their bird's lives.
"I understand that if the animal fails, it's mine. It has to fail at some point and then we can take advantage of the situation and capture it, unfortunately, dead or alive," he said.
Although he calls for licensed hunters to accompany him, he said, I'm going to stay until the next day, alone or accompanied, it doesn't matter."
For about a month and a half in 2018, something strange had been happening in this quiet neighborhood of Barceloneta, where five families have denounced that an animal is sucking the blood of caged roosters and hens.
They assure that he has incredible strength, that he pulls a part of the cage and puts his "hand" in to catch the animal. Some are dying and pass away the next day. Others, those who fight against "the bird", barely manage to survive.
When they find the victim the next morning, after the early morning attack, he "has a hole in the neck area or in the chest area. It is almost always in the neck. It draws out the blood or absorbs it because there is no trace; it leaves no traces. It is similar to the previous attacks that have taken place here." Santiago Rodríguez describes the findings in places on two nearby streets.
The Municipal Police of Barceloneta has dealt with three complaints, including one from yesterday and the one that this newspaper witnessed, while the resident of Barceloneta mentioned two other cases.
Both he and the agents agreed that there have been more attacks, but the neighbors prefer not to make them known.
Santiago Rodríguez talks about what he saw; no one told him.
"I saw the gargoyle in flight. There's no doubt about that. It's like it hypnotizes the dog. For the moment it shuts up and if you go to see what's happening, the dog is just in a corner trembling, as if this were a cold of the North Pole, with his tail between his legs, hypnotized." he narrated.
The gargoyle in-flight sighting was about a month and a half ago. "It was like 9:00 at night," he said. And in the dark could he see her? "What happened is that it was a full moon. I was bathing in a pool and I felt like a shadow passed over me. I was scared, but only once (I was scared)." said the cave expert who said that the saw at a later date. How do you describe her? "Like a bodybuilder, but an animal, with wings, It's a bird, it's short. it has wings and on the wings it has spikes. It measures about five feet." he confessed.
The day after the sighting, he found out that some dead birds had turned up at a neighbor's house. He swears and swears that there is more than one animal, although he believes that the one around the plots is the largest; "Either it's dad or it's mom."
"I know that it only comes out in the early morning at night. The only gargoyle that comes out day and night is me because I'm going to catch it," said the also survival expert.
Another who anticipated joining the group is municipal police officer Luis J. Muñoz Rosado.
It was precisely he who took the first complaint, about a month and a half ago, "where there were 17 dead birds. All of them had a hole in the chest or neck area. There were no signs of blood." In our presence, the uniformed man took hair from a cage - in which there was a dead bird - and which is believed to belong to the alleged gargoyle.
He announced that he will call the Forensic Sciences Bureau today to find out if they can do any tests. If not, it will look for other alternatives with other agencies.
"There are several cases, but there are people who do not want to file a complaint. But we have received information that in the Imbery plots, in the Magüeyes neighborhood, in the Estancias de Barceloneta urbanization, there have also been episodes where animals have been attacked." he assured.
UPDATE: The original account was printed in Spain's Primera Hora newspaper in 2018. There has not been an update or any description of the capture of the gargoyle. Primer Impacto on Univision did air a segment about the phenomenon. Lon

LONG CIGAR-SHAPED UFO Recorded on Highway Near Neuquen, Argentina (VIDEO)
On March 7, 2023, Gabriel Ferrari and a friend were driving on a highway near Neuquen, Argentina when they observed a very strange object. At least one of them decided to pull out their cell phone and start recording. A long white cigar-shaped object can be seen hovering stationary over a field on their left. It slowly moves toward the road as they continue driving in its direction.
Then something incredible happens. The object actually starts to contract or get smaller, right in front of their eyes. The video was sent to Mexican researcher Jaime Maussan who posted it on his Facebook page on March 14, 2023. The comments were mostly from people living in and around Argentina who had seen objects themselves. At least one thought it was nothing but a crack in the windshield glass while another questioned why the video was only 21 seconds long. Deisy Zambrano wrote of the craft: “It doesn't move, it's very slow... it's static.” What the object is anyone's guess.

BIGFOOT Recorded in Woods Near Bartlett, New Hampshire (VIDEO)
"We were sent a purported Bigfoot video from the woods near Bartlett, New Hampshire. I'll play the video and read the email.
Justin writes RMSO:
"Hi my name is Justin and I live in New Hampshire. I have a video of what I believe to be a Bigfoot. The video is not mine but belongs to a friend of mine who caught the creature while taking her dog out for a walk in the woods behind her house in the Bartlett area. She said while walking her dog, which is a Mastiff mixed dog, he started to act very out of character as if he was almost afraid and refused to go any further. It was at this point that my friend said she started to smell something foul, almost like a dead and decaying body. That is when she caught a glimpse of something and pulled her phone out and started to record the video."
Justin states there is another video of the encounter and is going to see if he can get it to send to us."

MEN IN BLACK Approach & Intimidate California UFO Experiencer
The experiencer describes an encounter with two Men in Black, the day after he and others had observed various UFOs in Joshua Tree National Park. He was intimidated by the incident.
"My MIB encounter happened in 2011 and it was something that I'll never forget. First, a bit of a back story.
Prior to the MIB incident, I went on a camping trip to Joshua Tree National Park, CA with a few friends. On our last night there, we were looking at the stars in front of the campfire. That's when I witnessed a couple of glowing blue UFOs in the night sky going at amazing speeds. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and my friends were equally amazed and mystified. I tried to take a photo with my flip phone but the UFOs moved too fast for me to get a clear image of them.
On our drive back home, we talked more about what we saw and were really excited about it. Not long after, I noticed a black car following me from a distance. I switched lanes to make sure the black car was in fact following me and sure enough wherever I went the car followed. Then when I glanced at my rearview mirror again, the car suddenly disappeared without a trace, which was really unsettling.
Now, the MIB encounter. The next day, after running a few errands I started driving home and when I arrived at my house I saw a black Cadillac parked in my driveway. I tried to convince myself that it wasn't the same black car following me a day ago but my gut feeling told me otherwise.
When I got out of my car, two men in matching black suits, light gray dress shirts, black ties, and black fedoras approached me and asked if they could ask me a few questions about what I witnessed the night before. I asked them who they were and to see some credentials. They claimed that they worked for a division of the US Air Force.
Their appearance looked what I can only describe as "plastic" and expressionless and they both had a pale olive skin tone. They spoke in a raspy, monotone voice and their speech was very precise; sounding almost synthetic. They also had a very cold and intense gaze.
Some of the questions they asked were:
Can you describe what you saw that night?
What do you think you saw?
Did you take any photos of what you witnessed?
Were there others who might have had recording devices or cameras?
Do you know if anyone recorded the incident?
Have you spoken about this incident with anyone else who wasn't present with you that night?
Did you find any unusual debris at the location you were that night?
Would you be withholding any important information from us?
Of course, I didn't answer most of their questions honestly and I did withhold a lot of information as to what I saw and who I was with.
They ended their questioning by strongly advising me to refrain from talking about what I witnessed with anyone and to forget the incident ever happened. They also strongly implied that they would be keeping an eye on me in case I decided to ignore their demands. After the encounter, I had this constant ominous feeling for a while and always looked over my shoulder wherever I went.
I don't know who these men were or how they had knowledge of what I saw that night, but I believe that they were the men in black. Since that encounter, I've been really hesitant and careful about who I share my experience with but I finally decided to share it here.
During the years following that incident, I've only had a couple of UFO sightings at night on separate occasions but I haven't had any more visits from odd men dressed in black, not yet anyway." MS
NOTE: A very similar account from a MIB experiencer. Over the years, the scenario hasn't really deviated that much. The biggest difference is the appearance of the MIB, who are usually dressed in black athletic or casual attire. I don't believe that the MIB is a part of any military group from Earth. IMO, they seem to be a 'clean-up crew' and alien or otherworldly. Lon

TALL, LANKY HUMANOID Encountered in Fairbanks, Alaska Neighborhood
A Fairbanks, Alaska teen describes an encounter with a tall, lanky humanoid while hanging out with a friend in his neighborhood. A similar encounter was described by a co-worker.
"I grew up in a poor neighborhood in Fairbanks, Alaska. My friends and I used to play outside together quite a bit. In the summer, we'd stay up way too late. One such summer night, when I was about 16, a friend and I were bumming around the neighborhood and chatting. My friend claimed that a person could see further in the night if they lay in a prone position. I called BS, so naturally, we had to test it out.
Before I continue, some context will help. We had lived in this neighborhood our whole lives. When we went to meet up to hang out, we would step outside, look down the street, and see each other coming from the other end of the street. I say this to impart to you the strong possibility that we have an accurate perception of depth, size, and walking speed in relation to the objects present in our neighborhood.
So there we were two kids, lying in the middle of the road at night (yes, we were incredibly stupid). We were looking off towards my house, which has exactly one intersection and exactly one street light visible in that direction. I was pretty content that I had won our little debate when a silhouette walked in front of that street light.
It was generally humanoid but seemed to be very tall and lanky. Its head seemed vaguely ovoid, but the rest of its body seemed kind of stretched out, too. Its movements were fluid and lithe. I don't know how to describe it exactly, smooth motions, like if walking were swimming. It appeared to be highly efficient motions, in a sense. The silhouette did not appear to be wearing any clothes.
The hair on my neck stood up immediately, and I realized I was holding my breath with fear. It crossed the street very quickly, emerging from a set of pines on one side and disappearing into a set of pines on the other. It seemed to cross in three glide-like steps, lasting only a moment. So, much quicker than an adult human.
My friend whispered in a panicked tone, "Did you see THAT?" I said that I had, and we agreed to get the hell out of there. We ran back to his house, locked the front door, then went to his room to bolt the windows and locked his bedroom door just to be on the safe side. Naturally, I decided to crash there, but we just stayed up talking about what we saw and what it could be.
I've told this story a couple times, and people always blow me off. Which is fine. I can appreciate skepticism. But the extra weird part, for anyone that bothers to believe me, is that we met someone else in our town who experienced the same thing.
That same friend and I eventually wound up working for a pizza restaurant together as young adults. We were telling our assistant manager, not much older than us, that same story. He looked super spooked as we talked about it, and when he finished he said he saw it once, too, when he was walking home from a high school party. Once he saw it, he turned around and went back to the party to try to find a place to crash there, unpleasant as that was.
So, here I am. I mostly keep it to myself, but when people are willing to listen I share it with the general sense that if they make fun of me I'll be alright. My coworkers now are surprisingly cool with it. They don't believe me, but they bought me an X-Files mug that says "I want to believe," just to show that it's no big deal.
Despite so many people telling me my brain was playing tricks on me, I still keep my ear to the ground about humanoids, ETs, "supernatural" phenomena, and the like. Seen a couple UFOs since then, but nothing big." B
