Deceased Girlfriend's GHOST Crashes Halloween Party!

A bizarre encounter with the spirit of a woman who seemed to be upset that there was a party taking place in her former house. What do you think occurred?

I received the following account:

“This happened in 1982 years ago. I had a girlfriend who had been killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. She had gotten in the accident on August 18th, and on August 20th she had been pronounced dead, two months before her 20th birthday.

On Halloween night, there was a party at the house where she had lived. Her roommates had decided to have a party to try and get over the grieving process and whatnot. We had hired a band from over in Everett, Washington and I was over at the house to let the band in. The band that came, none of them knew about Lisa's death, and the head singer for the band had gone into the bathroom back by Lisa's bedroom. It was a female with dark hair, Lisa had red hair. She was in the bathroom combing her hair and she let out a scream like I had never heard before in my life. I went running back there and she was standing there in the mirror just as white as could be. And she looked at me and she said, 'Someone has died here.' And I said, 'What do you mean?' And she said, 'I looked into the mirror and it wasn't my face.' She described Lisa right to a tee. She walked out of the bathroom and she turned and looked right at Lisa's room and she said, 'That's her room.'

Well, the first thing I thought was that these people were trying to play a really sick joke. I got together with a couple other people and we were talking about it and this girl from the band kept wanting to leave. And before she had gone into the bathroom, she had been so excited about playing this gig.

Later in the evening, I was standing in Lisa's bedroom talking to somebody and I looked out the window and I saw her reflection from behind me and heard her voice asking me to leave. I left the party and later that night over $10,000 damage was done to that house by people getting out of hand. Sitting here recalling it, I get the shakes like I did that night. I really believe that she had come back not wanting people sitting there getting drunk and wrecking the house.”

Close Encounter With...'BIG BIRD!'

An eyewitness describes an incident that he had as a child. Namely, an encounter with 'Bird Bird.' Was this an otherworldly event where the being appeared as something that would not alarm a child?

I received the following account:

"Wow, Lon. I listened to your podcast interview. I had never heard of anyone else who had similar experiences to what happened to me when I was young. I am a paranormal enthusiast now because of all the experiences I have had in my years and wanted to describe some of them to you. But now I feel I must contact you since I heard you describe witness encounters with Sesame Street characters. I didn't really put two and two together as it being 'paranormal' until now, although I knew it was something bazaar that happened to me as a child. I have told a few people about it, but of course, as silly as it sounds, I never expected anyone to believe me, but this is what happened to me.

I was born in 1976, in Dayton, Ohio, and shared a room with my brother for several years. This event took place when I was in my bog bed, so I must have been at least 5-6 years old. My brother had one side of the room, and I had the other. We had a very large walk-in closet and the door to it was at the foot of my bed.

One night as I was trying to get to sleep (my brother was already asleep), the door opened and I know this sounds crazy, but out came 'Big Bird.' I remember being frightened at first, but others came out too and they were very friendly and led me into the closet with them. All I remember at this point is that Big Bird gave me a flavored chapstick (most likely to ease my fear because I loved chapstick), and they brought me back to my bed. I went to sleep very happy over the whole experience and was not afraid anymore. I put the chapstick under my pillow after taking a tiny nibble leaving my teeth marks just to see if it was still there in the morning.

The next morning, I checked, and low and behold the chapstick WAS there. Just like I remembered, and at that moment I knew for a fact it was not a dream. If it were not for that chapstick the experience probably would not have stayed with me all these years. I tried to tell my brother, but he laughed it off, as anyone would, it sounds totally crazy. Now, after reading the other accounts of similar experiences, I am wondering if it was an abduction disguised as a friendly interaction. Another really weird phenomenon happened to me in the same house, but in a different room within the 10 years I lived in that house. I have somewhat of a timeline as we moved when I was 10. I will describe my other experience which could have been an abduction, in another email.

MANIPULATION & REPRESSED MEMORY Experienced During UFO/UAP Encounter in Pennsylvania

A Montgomery County, Pennsylvania resident was driving home from work when she observed a UFO/UAP above the road in front of her. She felt disoriented and manipulated.

I recently received the following account from a reader:

"Hi Lon, greetings from nearby in Pennsylvania! I thought I'd write to tell you about I how saw an opening in the sky a few years ago that has bothered me ever since and kind of changed how I look at the world. I attached a rough sketch, and I was also able to get the Google Maps 360 view of where my car exactly was and also tried to draw what I saw exactly where it was in the sky. Please keep in mind, that the drawing is purely to convey the shape alone and not the depth or details!

The experience was very disturbing. I didn't "lose time," but I felt like something had control of my mind during it and some of my memories of it afterward.

I can't remember exactly when it was (which is part of the issue). I believe it was possibly 2018. I'm not even sure what time of year it was, but if I had to guess I would say spring/summer because I don't remember it being cold and I don't remember our typical fall colors.

I was driving home (to Pottstown) from work. To avoid highway traffic, I always took back roads through the town of Royersford in Montgomery County. It was around 4pm. It was a bright sunny day with a bright blue sky and hardly any clouds. The road I always used went in between a high school on the left and a small church on the right. It was a dead end onto another street, of which I made a left.

There were several cars ahead of me waiting at the light as I pulled up. I suddenly noticed there was something very large and black high up in the sky to my right, past the church. It looked like it would be right above the street I was about to turn onto.

When I leaned closer to my windshield to look, I realized it wasn't an object, but an opening in the sky. It was all black, but there was clearly depth to it, it was not a solid surface. It had a triangle-type shape with swirled/circled points at the ends like I drew, but I would swear on my life it wasn't an object. The blue sky that met the edges of the black actually looked curved up and out, as if something had "punched" through from the other side of the sky, or it had ripped/split open. It looked like I was seeing what was "behind" the blue sky. The depth was unmistakable. It was huge, if I had to guess I would say it was at the very least 100 feet wide based on the height and distance from me. It appeared to be about at least 300-400 feet up, but possibly higher.

This is where it gets really strange. Since I was right at the driveway to the church, I remember thinking I could pull in quick and try to take a picture. I also thought about trying to take a picture as I sat right then and there because I felt I could get a pretty good picture even from inside my car. But something told me not to bother with either option. I remember looking at the driveway of the church and having the thought to turn in, but I did not make any attempt to do so. I then remember picking up my phone and then putting it back down, and the thought of "I won't be able to get a picture of it" came to me, which looking back now, is absolutely absurd. I know I would've been able to. Something completely stopped me from getting a picture.

I then looked at the driver and passenger in the car ahead of me, but they didn't seem to be looking up at it, which I thought was strange. I looked in my rearview and the driver behind me didn't seem to be looking at it either. This really concerned me because it stuck out like a sore thumb. That's when I got a little nervous. It was like I was in the twilight zone. I could not believe that no one was getting out of their car to look at this thing. There is no way they could not have seen it. I felt something was very wrong.

I went back to just staring at it, mesmerized. Then I suddenly realized the traffic light changed and the cars ahead of me were moving. I started inching forward with the cars, keeping my eyes on the sky. As I got closer to it, I remember feeling like I had to physically force myself to look away from it to make the left turn I needed to. I turned left and then looked at it in my rearview mirror until I could not see it anymore.

I felt disoriented and then suddenly became very confused as to why I did not pull over and take a picture, so I briefly thought of turning around and going back to it (and had several opportunities to do so shortly after making the turn), but I did not. It was as if the thought just kept being removed from my brain each time I wanted to turn around. I felt like I was in a trance the rest of the way home and felt incredibly disturbed and almost violated in a way (in the sense that I felt something had taken over my free will). I remember thinking about the idea of us living in a matrix. Did I just see a slip-up? Is the sky real? You know how something in the background of a movie or play opens accidentally and you see backstage or the set when you are not supposed to? I know it sounds crazy, but that is what it seemed like. This is the best way I can describe the experience.

I have read about other people not taking a picture or video of strange events, even though they wanted to or tried to. It was creepy to think this phenomenon may have happened to me as if something had taken over my free will. I had all of the time in the world (and all of the conscious purposeful thought) to either attempt a picture from where I was or to pull over and get out of my car right at the scene, and I did neither. I also had multiple opportunities to turn around and go back, but I did not.

The fact that I can't remember the date or time of year is very odd and discomforting to me, considering how significant it really was. I mean, I feel like it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I remember what happened, but it's almost like there is a fog over that part of my memory. Like something is making it disappear into my brain. I remember telling my husband about it that night, and then a coworker the next day. I didn't think about it again until months later. This is how it has been since. Something then reminds me of it, and it all floods back, along with the uncomfortable feelings. It just feels like there is a screen over that part of my memory. Almost as if I have to force myself to think about it and certain details are forever erased from my memory. I honestly don't know how else to explain this. But something is not right regarding my memory of the incident. I can confirm that I definitely did not lose any time based on getting home at the usual time, but it scares me that maybe something else happened that I don't remember. Something was definitely not right with me during and after this experience.

I drove that same route every day for the next several years and I never saw anything again. I recently changed jobs, so I do not drive that way anymore on a regular basis. But on the few times I do go that way, I can't tear my eyes away from the exact place in the sky it was.

I don't know how no one else seemed to notice it, or if they did, I wonder if they had the same reaction I did. I have this terrible feeling that maybe I was the only one who noticed it and that maybe I wasn't supposed to see it, maybe no one was supposed to see it. And to clarify, I was completely sober at the time and have never had hallucinations. Based on what I saw, I now believe there is way more going on with our reality than what we are told.

Is the MARYLAND GOATMAN Still Roaming the Woods of Prince George's County? (PHOTOS)

These trail cam photos were supposedly captured in Prince George's County, Maryland in a forested area in Laurel, MD. Is this the infamous 'Maryland Goatman?' The images were obtained in April 2016 by WBAL-TV, which received two separate emails about some sort of animal at Montpelier Park. One woman said it looked like "a Sasquatch with horns." A man saw what he thought was a bear, except it didn't look like a bear.

The legend about a 'Goatman' who was said to have once been a scientist at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center which is located nearby. The story goes that he was experimenting on goats, the experiment went awry and he began attacking cars with an ax, roaming the back roads of Beltsville.

In the 1960s and 1970s, there were numerous reported sightings of the 'Maryland Goatman' throughout Prince George's County.

NOTE: In recent years, there has been a multitude of Bigfoot sightings and encounters in several Prince George's County communities. The Washington, DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia suburbs have been hotspots for cryptid and unexplained activity. What are your thoughts on this phenomenon? Lon

Lake Erie UFOs, Lost Time & Possible Abduction (PHOTO)

The experiencer describes her UFO encounter, lost time & possible alien abduction when she was younger. She included photos of a more recent sighting over Lake Erie.

I received the following account:

"On one of your old Arcane Radio episodes, you were discussing Lily Dale in New York and brought up Lake Erie. I grew up south of Erie about 10 miles and have had numerous encounters. Where we lived was pretty rural back then and only a two-lane road. My aunt and uncle lived next door. Our properties were connected and we had about 70 or so acres and about 50 were woods. Most of the properties around us were wooded and some fields.

My first memory of an abduction was with my 2 cousins. It was wintertime and the holiday season. Our parents were out to a holiday party and we were passing the time riding the snowmobile between both of our houses (We were all on one snowmobile). We were returning to my house and driving on the right side of the property line heading towards the woods. There was a field behind our house and we would turn around before the woods started. As we were in our turn the object rose above the trees. It was huge and saucer-shaped with rotating lights in the center. I remember being petrified and my youngest cousin shoving her head into my back.

Then the memory from there is gone until we walked into my aunt's house and looked at the clock and it was 11:00 pm. To this day we have no memory of what happened to us. I am 60 years old and this happened when I was between 8 to 10 years old.

The reason I am writing is on July 1, 2017, my husband and I attended our niece's wedding. It was in New York but just over the state line from Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful day and a gorgeous view of Lake Erie. I was taking photos before the wedding and did not see the object when the picture was taken. No one else saw it either because of looking directly at the sun. I will include the photo and I really enjoy your show." B

Camper Believes BIGFOOT ABDUCTED Human Child in Guanella Pass, Colorado

An outdoorsman believes that he observed a Bigfoot carrying a human child dressed in red clothing while camping at the Guanella Pass in Pike National Forest, Colorado

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. For the past 20+ years, I have tried to find any facts about what I saw and what I believed took place. I have contacted numerous Bigfoot researchers and investigators nationwide, but I have never received any information that satisfied my concern.

I was camping and hiking through Colorado in the Spring of 2018. One morning, I woke up to smashing sounds that got closer to my camp. I thought it was a mad bear and got my hiking stick out. I knew I couldn't hurt a charging bear but maybe I could distract it somehow with a shred of hope and a poke from my stick. The sounds got right up on my camp but took a turn. It stopped and I peeked out of my tent. I then saw this big, dark hairy shape through the trees. It looked like it was carrying something that was wearing red cloth. Then it turned and ran up this steep hill. I heard it crashing through trees and it sounded like a tank going 60 MPH up a steep slope.

I wish that I had got a better look but it all happened so fast. I got the feeling that I needed to get out of there right then. I saw something that maybe I shouldn't have. I packed up camp and hiked out of there. I'm not sure but since then I have the feeling that the red cloth may have been a T-shirt. I think that the big thing was carrying an abducted child because people, especially kids, had been reported back then missing. Nobody knows what happened to them.

I've been desperate for answers. I did all I could to report what I saw, but law enforcement and state wildlife officials simply ignored me. I know what I saw, and I believe that a child was taken by the creature. This occurred at Guanella Pass, which is located inside the Pike National Forest, Colorado." B

Deer Hunter & Young Son Alarmed by BIGFOOT Activity in Northern California

A northern California deer hunter and his young son are in the local wilderness when they hear rock-slapping sounds. The activity, plus a later incident, frightens them.

"My mom was a missionary with the tribes in southern Alaska and I grew up with stories of weird events. I'm in northern California, about 10 minutes from the Oregon border along the coast in the heart of the Redwoods.

Six years ago my son and I were out deer hunting. We had taken an old logging road that went off the main logging road. It went off about two miles. At the end was regrowth and a couple more roads and trails that took off downhill. I had my seven-year-old son pick a road to take. We headed down for a half mile when we came to a small creek. We continued down another half mile or so to a plateau where we sat and listened and glassed the area.

After about 15 or so minutes we began to hear rock slapping together. My son looked at me and asked, "What's that dad?" I had no idea. I've been hunching for 20-plus years and never heard anything like that. I told him to get up and head back to the truck. The rock slapping lasted five or so minutes. We made our way back slowly still trying to hunt but also listening to any other 'out of the normal' sounds.

We're about halfway back to the creek and we heard something coming right at us, running through the brush and trees. I raised my rifle to almost shoulder level. Then a deer popped out, running at my son and me. It went around past us not no more than 10 feet. As I stood there the first thought was it should be scared of us, but it ran right at us. My next thought was whatever it was running from was bigger than us.

My son was on edge and I said let's head back. The part I'll never forget is when we hit the small creek we had stopped earlier there was a sapling about five inches in diameter that was snapped over and blocking the way. As soon as my son saw that he looked at me with utter fear in his eyes and began to run the whole way back to the truck. As he was running to the truck, I was trying to calm him down and try to get my mind in control. The rock slapping begins again. We reached the truck, jumped in, and left. He was in tears and said that he never wanted to go back to that spot.

Every year we go hunting he brings up that event. I still consider myself lucky to still have him go hunting with me after that event. I know if it were me at that age I would never want to go in the woods again."

LOST TIME & RECURRING MEMORIES: Possible Alternate Reality or Abduction?

Two young women were taking their friend home after seeing a movie. After dropping off their friend, they drove a bit, but suddenly they lost about 90 minutes of time! What happened?

I received the following account:

"It was the winter of 2013, I was 19 years old. I was driving out in the country, and my friend Megan and I were taking my friend Tiffany home after the movies. Tiffany lived in the middle of nowhere, up in the hills about 30 miles outside Waverly, Ohio. We dropped Tiffany off at her house at 11 p.m. We knew it was exactly 11:00 because Tiffany had an 11 o'clock curfew and we got her home just in time.

We drove up the hill to Tiffany's house, she got out and we turned around and drove off back down the hill to the road. This was a small back road, the drive back to the main road took about 15 minutes and involved about 4 different turns. Looking back Megan and I both remember driving for about a mile and making that first turn. Then suddenly I'm looking out the windshield and I see we are no longer on the same back road. We're back on the main road almost to the highway, 20 miles from where we were just seconds ago.

I looked over at Megan in the passenger seat, she looked like she was almost in a trance. I asked her "Megan, how did we get here? We're almost to the highway.' She looked at me, tears in her eyes, and asked 'What just happened?' It was then that I looked down at the clock and it was 12:30. In the blink of an eye nearly an hour and a half had passed and we had somehow traveled 20 miles. We drove the rest of the way home in silence, totally in shock at what had happened.

Days later an image started popping in my mind. We are sitting in the car, it's stopped in the middle of the road. We are both frozen staring at the headlights and the road in front of us. I also have a vague recollection of something in the trees off the side of the road. Megan had similar memories. It's been 10 years and I still refuse to go back to that area." CJ

NOTE: Well, the recurring memory may have been a clue as to what happened. Both experiencers were frozen in their seats, staring at headlights. Were they suddenly transported into another reality, or was this a case of abduction by an unknown source? You decide. Lon

'The Trees Just Started Walking!'

A Southern California witness swears that he and his friends observed a group of trees that surrounded a lake on a local golf course literally walking away. What did they really see?

“Check this out, this is a true story. We used to sneak in and go fishing at Green River Golf Course off the 91 Freeway in Southern California. It's a long walk in, there's a couple lakes. There's one lake (the best one) all the way towards the back of the course. It rests against a big hill.
We were walking (me and my cousin and another friend) toward the lake. We were almost there...and the trees surrounding the lake just started walking! Like, they were surrounding the lake (around 6-10 of them). It was like we startled them and half went one way and half went the other! It was crazy!
From the moonlight, we could see the silhouettes move. It looked like the trees just started walking, like trying to clear out of there before we got there. We stopped dead in our tracks and never fished that night.
Nobody believes that story but it happened. I have seen UFOs too. No big deal. That stuff is 100% real, no doubt. But that night I saw the trees move! It really happened!”
NOTE: I have heard of many instances of 'walking trees,' mostly occurring during the day. The shadows and silhouettes of the night could be playing tricks on the witnesses' eyes. I tried to find any references for a similar anomaly at that location, but none were found. Lon

WOODWOSE: The Wild Man of Cheshire County

A Cheshire County, England boy is walking to an area in the woods where he and his friends play when he encounters a tall hairy man. He later discovers that the being was a Woodwose.

"I grew up in a small village in the countryside of northwest England. My mother and father split when I was around three years old. I stayed with my mom but she was largely absent for most of my youth and I was basically raised by my granddad whom I lived with until he passed away. I had two best friends. The world was a safe place back then and on weekends and during holidays my two friends and I would play outside in the woods from early morning until after sunset. It was during the school summer holidays of 1987 that this incident took place.

I was eight years old at the time and what I'm about to tell you is unbelievable and makes no sense to me, even now, but I think the time has come to share it. On the morning that this happened, I went around to call for my two friends to see if they wanted to come out and play. There's an area of woodland at the top of the village where a huge old oak tree had been struck by lightning and partially fallen down. My friends and I had claimed this area as our own little playground as the half of the tree that had fallen was really good for climbing and making tree houses and dens. We had christened it the base due to it being the place where we started the majority of our childhood adventures.

It turned out that one of my friends wasn't feeling well so he wasn't allowed to play and the other had gone shopping with his mom. So that day I headed out to the base alone to get to the fallen tree. I had to walk through a large field which was periodically maintained but at the time the grass hadn't been cut and was around three feet high. The fallen tree was part of a larger cluster of trees along the bottom edge of this field and the lighter wood where the tree had split apart was visible through the overhanging branches of the surrounding trees from about halfway across the field.

As I got to the middle of the field I looked towards the base to see if I could see any other kids there and I realized that I couldn't see the light of wood of the fallen tree. But in its place, all I could see was 'brown.' My eight-year-old mind couldn't process this and the best I could come up with was that the tree had somehow grown its bark back since I was last there just a few days before. I was intrigued. I took a few steps forward when an overwhelming sense of fear came over me and stopped me in my tracks. At this point, I couldn't see anything but somehow I knew that something was very wrong and that something was near to the base. As I stared towards the base I realized that there was something brown obscuring my view of the fallen tree and then it had started to move. The thing that was standing there had its back to me and the second I realized this it slowly turned to face me. It was at that point that I knew I was in trouble.

I realized that the brown I could see was hair, not fur, but hair about four inches long and it was exactly the same color as the tree bark. I couldn't tell if the hair was different colors or uniformly brown with dead leaves and branches and such in it. But from a distance, it would have been invisible to anyone looking. I couldn't move my limbs, which felt like lead and I could feel my heart beating in my ears. Every fiber of my being was telling me to run, but I was so scared. I was rooted to that spot. The thing squatted down similar to how a sumo wrestler does before a fight. I couldn't see its head or face as it was obscured by the overhanging branches but I got a clear view of its chest, stomach, and arms. The hair on its chest and stomach was slightly shorter than the hair on its back and arms and a bit lighter in color. It was huge, easily four feet across the shoulders, and at least eight feet tall in its squatting position. Keep in mind that as an eight-year-old I had never seen or heard of anything like this before. To me, this thing was a monster, plain and simple. Its shoulders and biceps were absolutely massive and my only point of reference was that this thing was like the Incredible Hulk, but with hair.

I was about 30 feet or so from it and I was so scared that I didn't even realize I had started to cry. If this wasn't unbelievable enough it brought its hands together in front of its chest making a circle shape with its thumbs and fingers. In the middle of the circle appeared a ball of pure white light which I now know to be an orb, but at that time I likened it to a floating crystal ball. The being stood up and dropped its arms down. As it did so its hands were close to being level with its knees and the orb stayed in the same position where it had appeared and rose with the creature. When it stood there was no sound. As this happened there were no birds singing, no grasshoppers chirping, and even though I could feel the breeze and see the grass and the leaves on the branches moving there was just deafening silence.

I don't know how long this all took but I realized I'd been holding my breath as all this happened. I exhaled hard and as I did so a crystal-clear thought flashed through my mind. "If you don't run now you'll never see home again!" I don't know how to explain where this thought came from but I know for a fact it wasn't mine. At that moment I felt a familiar nuzzling in my armpit and realized that Hobo, my granddad's Irish Wolfhound, was behind me. I don't know how it got out but I didn't realize he had followed me. He put his head beside my left shoulder and began growling and snarling and this somehow snapped me out of the trance I was in. I turned and sprinted as fast as I could back through the field.

Hobo ran beside me all the way home. When I got back home it took my granddad about an hour or so to calm me down and I explained to him what had happened. He responded by giving me the worst beating he had ever given me in my life and sending me to my room. He then left the house telling me not to move. He didn't return for about half an hour. When he did return he came into my room and he sat on my bed, he hugged me and comforted me while I began to cry again. I was scared and confused. He told me that I had seen the 'Woodwose" and that I had to stay indoors for the rest of the summer, that I was forbidden from ever playing at that base again. Needless to say, I never went back there.

Before this happened I was a happy outgoing kid. But this experience made me withdrawn and timid. I asked my granddad what the Woodwose was and he told me that it was the tall hairy man who guards the woods. He said that he scares grown-ups away and sometimes takes kids to a place in the woods where they're never ever seen again. At the time I had no reason to doubt my granddad. He had raised me and was the only father figure I had when growing up. I think he beat me because he was scared and angry at what had happened to me and took these feelings out on me. I never thought any less of him for that.

I didn't even hear the term 'Bigfoot' until years later in high school when I found a book on unexplained mysteries and cryptids. I have since learned the stories of the Woodwose go back to the 15th century, and it is referred to as the hairy man, the wildman of the woods, the Fawn, and sometimes the Green Man. I don't know if it is a Bigfoot-type being or if it's related to these adjectives but I know for a fact that there are things on this planet and in the woods and dark places that are beyond most people's understanding. I believe that my granddad also had some kind of encounter with one of those beings although he never admitted it until the day he died.

Anyway, that's my experience. I am 41 years old and still researching and looking for answers. I still believe that if it wasn't for my granddad's dog that thing would have taken me. I still live in the Cheshire County countryside in northwest England and the woods around where I live now are the playground of my kids on their friends. I don't want them to be scared of the woods but I do encourage them to be sensible."
