QUANTUM COMPUTING & EXPLOITING PARALLEL UNIVERSES: Can Interdimensional Travel Be Realized?
Here are mind-blowing implications revealed in a 2016 speech by the CEO of D-Wave, Geordie Rose. D-Wave Systems, Inc. is a quantum computing company, based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. D-Wave is the first company in the world to sell quantum computers:
"I'm going to tell you a little bit about quantum computers and why people care so much about them. There are literally tens of thousands of some of the brightest people in the world today trying to build these machines and understand them and I'm going to tell you why in my last 15 years of working on this type of stuff I found that scientists divided up into two categories of zealots about this field.
The first half are people who are absolutely entranced by the physics of these things. This quote is from a respectable scientist, in fact, one of the founders of this field that maybe a little bit may look a little strange to you who don't follow theoretical physics. But there is a very clear prediction that our most successful theory of nature makes and that is that there are an enormous number mind-bogglingly large number of parallel realities as real as this one that have different consistent histories.
So imagine a world where all of the laws of physics, as we know them, are obeyed but different decisions were made along the way. Different decisions at the level of tiny microscopic particles. Different decisions all the way up to what you just ate for lunch and whether you chose to come to the session or not. Quantum mechanics makes a very specific prediction that all of those are as real as the thing that you remember and this is bizarre because we don't see those other things. But science has reached the point now where we can build machines that exploit those other worlds and quantum computers are perhaps the most exciting of all of these that we have within, or almost within, our grasp right now.
So people from a physics background love this. They want to understand the world. They want to understand the universe, and how it all works. But science has reached the point now where we can build machines that exploit those other worlds. It gives these computers access to these new resources. Maybe you could call them parallel universes to do something that you couldn't do. That's not the only one. In fact, the one I'm going to come back to and talk to in the context of the story that I'm wrapping this in was recently installed at NASA and Google was the primary interested party that pulled this whole thing together.
This one is really exciting to me because what they're going to do is apply this machine to an area that I think is fundamentally important. It's the crux of our future as humans, building machines like us might be possible. I certainly believe it is. I might be wrong but what I do know is that the types of approaches that people are taking now to build intelligent machines benefit immensely from what this machine that we've built does best. They're doing something completely different than what your computer does. That thing is like flight. It gives these computers access to these new resources, maybe you could call them parallel universes to do something that you couldn't otherwise do.
From the outside, they look like giant black monoliths, big metal boxes about ten feet on a side, 12 feet tall and they are high powered. They have a refrigerator that cools these chips to almost absolute zero, just a wisp of a fraction of a degree above absolute zero, hundreds of times colder than interstellar space. Among the coldest and most isolated extreme conditions that humans have ever been able to engineer. These refrigerators, interestingly enough, which are called pulse tube dilution refrigerators, have a thing called a pulse tube which emits a sound roughly once per second which sounds eerily like a heartbeat. So if you're stat you have the opportunity to stand next to one of these machines. It is an awe-inspiring thing, at least for me it feels like an altar to an alien god. They really are impressive machines.
At the heart of this big box is a tiny chip, about the size of your thumbnail, and on this chip resides all of the wonder and magic that makes this thing go. I'm not going to describe in any mathematical detail how it all works but let me give you an analogy in quantum mechanics. There is this concept that anything can exist in two states which are mutually exclusive at the same time. I'm using those words because the English language was developed before we had concepts to describe what these things actually are doing. But I'm going to give you a roundabout way of understanding us.
Imagine that there really are parallel universes out there. Now imagine you have two that are exactly identical in every respect, all the way out to the horizon, as far as we can see, down to the last little atomic detail of every single thing, with only one difference. That's the value of a little thing called a qubit on this chip. That qubit is very much like a bit of a transistor in a conventional computer it has two distinct physical states which we call 0 and 1 for bit. In a conventional computer, these are mutually exclusive. That device is either one or the other and never anything else in a quantum computer. That device can be in this strange situation where these two parallel universes have a nexus, a point in space where they overlap. When you increase the number of these devices, each time you add one of these qubits you double the number of these parallel universes that you have access to until such time when you get to a chip like this which is about 500 of these bits, you have something like 2 to the 500th power of these living in that chip.
So the way I think about it is that the shadows of these parallel worlds overlap with ours and if we're smart enough we can dive into them and grab their resources and pull them back into ours to make an effect in our world. Now this may sound very odd to you, in bizarre, and, in fact, I am using language that a normal theoretical physicist probably wouldn't use. But this is absolutely correct and in line with the way that these things actually work. We've been doing this for some time now and, in fact, we have our own version of Moore's Law, the doubling of the number of these qubits on the chip has happened a year for the past nine years.
So for the last nine years, every year, the number of these qubit devices has doubled and it will continue to do so. As a point of reference in terms of how fast these things are in one generation of chip the one from the system that was installed at USC to the one that Google and NASA have now. The speed of the device went up by almost a half million. This is the kind of progress that you're going to see with these types of machines going forward and half a million sounds like an abstract number. But I put up a little mental comparison here to see what five thousand, really five thousand five hundred thousand is a big number when it comes to speed. They really are impressive machines. It feels like an altar to an alien god."
NOTE: For many years, I have been saying that quantum computing, as it becomes commercially viable, may help us realize if parallel universes exist and if interdimensional travel is possible. Lon

DID I ENCOUNTER A DEMON? Scared in Santa Fe, New Mexico
"The man had black hair and a black short beard. He had a dark jacket on, even though it was the middle of summer. When we walked past each other, he smiled at me."
I received the following account:
"Hi, Lon. I have heard you talk on your podcast, so I decided to contact you. I think I once encountered a demon. I was about 17 years old and walking around the neighborhood (I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico). There's a large office building near my house that takes up a whole block, so I was walking around it. It was a bright and clear day, nothing was out of the ordinary.
As I was walking, a man appeared. I'm VERY aware of my surroundings, but I had no idea where he came from. One minute there was no one and the next he just appeared out of thin air. To say I was creeped out is an understatement. But I kept walking.
The man had black hair and a black short beard. He had a dark jacket on, even though it was the middle of summer. When we walked past each other, he smiled at me. But the scariest thing about him was the darkest feeling I have ever gotten from someone. Like I can't even express how dark it was. I was so scared. I quickly sped walked away and when I thought I was a good distance away, like 4 or 5 feet, I looked back but the man was gone. There were no houses or cars or anything that he could've gone into. And even if he somehow managed to cross the street, I would've been able to see him.
I saw that man one other time, a few months after the 1st incident. I was once again walking around the neighborhood, but not around the same office building. He was still a block or so away from me. I quickly turned the nearest corner and ran away. I think if I hadn't been able to get away, he would've tried to hurt me. I truly believe that he is following me! I really don't want to see him a 3rd time, because I think if I do, he will hurt me." L

Experiencer Describes SMALL, FACELESS HUMANOID Encounters (SKETCH)
An experiencer describes his encounters with small, faceless humanoids at various locations. He also details a particular incident while at home. Very creepy!
I received the following account:
"Hi. One night when I was driving to my friend's home, we took a shortcut to his place, and we drove past a faceless kid who looked in his late teens or early 20s according to what he was wearing. He was normal human size. He had a black hoodie on and looked right at us as he walked under the streetlight as we drove by. He looked almost like GI Joe's Cobra Commander's face, but a darker gray. we were spooked and talked about him the rest of the night in disbelief. That happened while I was in my early 30s.
At my mom's house, since I could remember when we had just moved in, (sometime in the late 1980s). I don't see them very often, but 3 mischievous grayish-green beings are smaller, about three feet tall or so, and really skinny, so thin that you can see their spinal column and a small stubby-like tail. They too are faceless, and they love to play tricks on whoever might be in the house. You know when you leave something in one spot and the next minute it's gone, then it miraculously reappears in that same spot you left it? It's these guys who love to take and hide people's belongings. As a kid, they would snatch things from my hands and run away so I would chase them. They never meant any harm, they just loved to mess with whatever they felt would be funny to them.
One night, I was around 35 or so? I'm 44 now. I was sitting in the living room watching TV, and to my left someone sat down 3 feet away from me as I heard the leather and saw an indentation. Then to my right, one of the dining table chairs moved a good 6 inches, and I felt someone almost hovering over me, and then something touched my neck. so I knew it was them trying to prank me, so I thought I'd trick them this time. I got up, and said out loud, "I need to take a piss!" and headed towards the hallway as the restroom is the 2nd door on the right. there's a dividing wall between the hall and the kitchen, and once I just stepped past the beginning of the wall, I reversed back, and swung over to the kitchen side, and there it was! it was crouched over waiting for me to pass by.
It heard me fake it out, looked right back at me, was surprised I saw it and disappeared right away when it realized I had tricked it. I think they are interdimensional beings that most likely are not from here. possibly a certain type of gray alien? but with a shield-like cover on its facial features. I ended up sketching it as I saw it before it disappeared. Here is what I saw that night (below), as detailed as I could remember him." B

ADIRONDACK PARK: The BERMUDA TRIANGLE of the North?
New York's Adirondack Park is the largest publicly protected area throughout the entire United States. But there have been numerous disappearances there over many decades.
E. F. Crumley went missing on August 10, 1951, between Raquette and Blue Mountain Lakes. Six years later, a hunter came across traces of his remains.
Howard Gilroy (né Leslie A. Wiggs) was lost on October 10, 1958, on Santanoni Peak. Thirty years later, hikers uncovered his skeleton, a Kodak camera, and a rusted thermos.
Douglas Legg was lost on July 10, 1971, near Santanoni Great Camp. No sign of the boy has been found.
George Bombardier disappeared on November 29, 1971, near Paul Smiths. His automobile was found near the Hayes Brook truck trail.
Steven Thomas vanished on Mount Marcy on April 11, 1976. During the search for Thomas, the belongings of another missing hiker, George Atkinson, who disappeared on March 15, 1973, were found in Panther Gorge.
Alaim Dufresne disappeared in October 1974 on Algonquin Peak. His remains were found the following spring.
Michael Croteau was lost on Ampersand Mountain in October 1982. Three years later, hikers came across his sleeping bag with his skeleton inside.
David Boomhower was lost in June 1990. Four months later, a hunter found his body near Lewey Lake.
George Woltjen disappeared on October 24, 1992. Four years later, his body was found in the Cedar River.
Thomas Carleton was reported missing in October 1993 after he failed to return from a solo hiking trip in the High Peaks. There has been no sign of him.
Arthur Birchmeyer was reported missing in December 2002 and found deceased three days later near Little Indian Lake in the Moose River Plains Wild Forest.
George LaForest was last seen on April 21, 2006. His truck was discovered near his favorite fishing hole along the Cedar River, near Indian Lake. No sign of him has been found.
Jack Coloney signed the trail register at Wakely Dam on June 6, 2006. He disappeared a few days later in the Moose River Plains Wild Forest.
Irene Horne’s tent and belongings were found by fishermen in the West Canada Lake Wilderness Area in June 2007. There has been no sign of her since.
Fred Gillingham, a 72-year-old California resident, became lost on October 12, 2008, along the Rock River trail between Indian and Blue Mountain Lakes. After searching for 12 days, nothing was found. A month later, a hunter came across his body north of the Rock River.
Donald Bush went missing in the same area in October 1997. His body was found the following year. Lon

(VIDEO) BIZARRE MYSTERY Unfolding in Douglas County, Nebraska
A frightening mystery has played out along a busy highway in northern Douglas County, Neb. It’s happened at night, and it’s happened more than once!
Cresting a hill while traveling on Highway 36 in the dark, Garrison Beach faced a driver’s worst nightmare Sunday night.
“I didn’t want to [crash] head-on into a big piece of metal in the middle of the road going 55-60 miles per hour, so I just tried to swerve out of the way,” Garrison Beach said.
But he overcorrected, and his Toyota Camry barreled through a wire guardrail and down a ravine, with his wife Skylar Beach riding it out in the passenger’s seat.
“As soon as we got out of the car, I remember walking up the embankment and this guy showed up. He was already there, like, waiting for us up on the side of the road.”
“It was pretty scary,” Skylar said. “I remember screaming and I wasn’t sure when we’d start rolling, but we were fortunate to walk away from the accident.”
The crash wouldn’t be the couple’s only shock of the evening, though.
Startled as they fast-approached the object in the road, they looked over and noticed a vehicle parked on 132nd Street with the headlight on, as if someone was keeping watch on the intersection.
“As soon as we got out of the car, I remember walking up the embankment and this guy showed up,” Garrison said. “He was already there, like, waiting for us up on the side of the road and [said], ‘Are you guys okay? I’ve called the paramedics already.‘”
Garrison says they declined the stranger’s offer to get in his car.
“It was just very odd,” Skylar Beach said. “As soon as we said, ‘No, we’re going to wait for the police,' he kind of just walked back to his car.”
The man left before they got his name, but he doesn’t seem to be a stranger to incidents on Highway 36.
Kyle Sorenson can attest.
“I hit a kid’s bike that had been left right in the center of the road,” said Sorenson. “As I looked in my rearview mirror, I saw someone sitting there [just north] on Pawnee Road. They pulled up behind me and it was this individual saying he was checking to make sure we were okay.”
“In two weeks, there have been three incidents where he was immediately the first person on the scene. It seems strange.”
Seeing little damage to his vehicle, Kyle left, but later, near the same place along the highway, his wife spotted the same man behind another car leaking oil on the roadway.
“In two weeks, this has been three incidents where he was immediately the first person on the scene,” Sorenson said. “It seems strange.”
And even stranger, about two weeks later, Sorenson would see the same man from his incident at the crash scene of his friends, Garrison and Skylar Beach.
“I didn’t want to confront the person, but I informed the police,” Sorenson said. “I don’t want to accuse and say this person is absolutely doing this, but I want to make you aware this is strange.”
Feeling lucky to have survived the crash, the Beaches now wonder if the object sitting in their lane was simply bad luck — or no accident after all.
“We definitely want some answers on why he’s doing what he’s doing,” Skylar Beach said. “We just don’t want this to keep happening to other people, or something worse.”
The Douglas County Sheriff is investigating multiple incidents of objects laying in driving lanes on Highway 36 near Bennington. Even though it’s a main route to the landfill, the deputies want to determine if the debris fell off a truck or had been placed in the roadway on purpose.

RED-EYED, 'OWL' HUMANOID Manifests in Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico Home!
As the result of the airing of 'The Mothman Revisited' episode in Season 4 of 'Unsolved Mysteries,' the producers collected reports from the viewers and forwarded the information to us.
The witnesses are being contacted to establish and confirm details of the sightings/encounters. If further information is received, it will be added to the report. We have received worldwide inquiries as well. The incidents specifically reported in the Chicagoland region can be found on the Chicago / Lake Michigan Winged Humanoid Regional Interactive Map.
The original report submitted:
"At the time of the incident, I was in elementary school. I was about 10 or 11 years old. My father drank a lot and during his drinking binges, there were times when he would not come home to sleep. I was very worried. I am the oldest of three siblings.
All of my life I have had paranormal and unexplained experiences. On this occasion, when my father did not come, it would be around 11 or 12 at night. I could not sleep and I felt the need to look out the window. I had a feeling of fear and when I looked out the window, I saw something in the corner of our wall that faced my back towards my room. I noticed that red eyes were staring straight at my window. They were big eyes, like those of a cat or a hare or an animal that reflects light with its eyes. These red eyes were not a reflection but projected intense red light.
I noticed that its head was like an owl. It was big for a bird and it was staring straight at me. I have seen many owls and that wasn't one. I felt an ugly fear because I felt that thing knew that I was seeing it. I felt my heart beat faster and my breathing accelerated like when a dog chases you in the street, I lowered my head when I looked back it was no longer there but I felt the sensation that that thing had jumped or flown and was up in the sky. It was black and had dark and long plumage that hung from its shoulders. It was hunched over and its head was semi-round. I didn't see any arms, just a dark figure hunched over and with bright red eyes, round and large.
I am currently 37 years old and the sighting occurred in Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico. I currently live in the same place and I have never seen it again, but every time I see stories about the Mothman I know that it is the same thing that I saw." Eden Vladmir López Medina

MERFOLK Encountered Underwater While Witness Snorkeled Near Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
An American teen girl, her father, and her brother traveled to Thailand. They were snorkeling near some islands when she observed, what she believed, was a mermaid or merman!
I received the following account:
"I'm so glad that I found your blog. This is something that’s been bothering me for years. I’m a 22-year-old American woman, and when I was 13, my dad, my younger brother, and I went to Thailand. We traveled to Phi Phi Islands by boat with one of those travel companies for tourists and stopped by different islands to snorkel.
On one of these stops my brother and I were right next to each other, looking at a fish that I found really cute. To paint the picture a bit better, at this moment my brother and I were snorkeling in the water right by a floating island, while the others in our group were a bit further away from this island. This island was like a chunk of land that extended downward into the water rather than having a gradual slope.
Suddenly our dad called out for us, someone in our group saw a small shark and everyone gathered around to see it. My brother swam over there, but for some reason, I stayed put and kept watching the different fish that were swimming so closely to me.
Then, something caught my attention. There were smaller caves underwater by the shore, and I saw something slowly coming out of there. It was similar to a human head, facing down towards the bottom of the ocean. I completely froze up and kept staring. The “person” kind of floated out of the cave, never faced up toward the surface and did it very slowly. Nothing of this person (that I could see) was moving. By this point, I could see the back of the head and most of the back. The person had sparse black hair, slicked down to the scalp. Their skin looked gray, and the spine was extremely pronounced.
I was so sure that I was looking at a corpse, and I completely froze up. I couldn’t breathe or move. Time felt like it was standing still. The person kept floating out of the cave, and that’s when I started seeing its tail. The tail was dark gray and looked like a stereotypical mermaid tail. I blinked multiple times convinced I was hallucinating, but I kept seeing it. I’ve never believed in the supernatural, but this thing was only a few meters below me and I could see it so clearly. I felt a sense of danger, I knew that I wasn’t supposed to be seeing this and I was terrified that it would see me and attack me. But the thing never once faced up. Once it was out it swayed to the side, kept a close distance to the island, and disappeared into another cave.
After a few seconds, I snapped out of it and quickly swam to my dad and brother. I burst into tears and frantically told them that we had to get back on the boat right away. My dad asked me what happened and I told him what I saw. Obviously, he didn’t believe me, and got furious at me for “lying.” When we got back to the boat I told them again and stood by the fact that I wasn’t lying. My father told me that he really hoped I was, that it was either a lie or that I was insane and had to be locked up in a mental hospital. I knew how crazy all of this sounded, and honestly, I didn’t even believe myself. I decided to tell him that I made it all up.
Since that day I’ve tried to convince myself that I made it all up, but I’ve never experienced any hallucinations and I know what I saw. I've told others, but of course, most of them thought I made it up. It’s so insanely frustrating feeling like you’re being gaslit by the entire world, and I truly hope that someone out there believes me." O

Witness Observed GNOME-LIKE HUMANOID Standing on Newfoundland Beach
The witness describes seeing a gnome wearing a red checkered jacket and a green pointy hat as it stares at the witness and family at their boat.
I received the following account:
"I have chills down my spine writing this, but I feel it is important to tell someone. This memory has been rooted in my head ever since I was about 8 years old. This happened in Cox’s Cove, Newfoundland, on the way to my grandfather's cabin which was located in a little now ghost town called Brakes Cove which was once inhabited many years ago.
I was with my grandfather, mother and brother. We were in my grandfather's little boat going to my grandfather's cabin, which was only accessible by boat when the tide was high and accessible by walking the saltwater shore when the tides were low.
As we were floating along the saltwater I caught a glimpse of a gnome-like humanoid. It looked almost identical to the typical gnome, standing on the rocky shore in a naturally made cave (I can’t remember what exactly he was wearing, it seemed like a red checkered jacket and a green pointy hat) and he looked just curious and stared as we went along the water. All I could do was stare, I couldn’t get my eyes off of him. something about it was just so confusing, and I really couldn’t comprehend what I was looking at, but I didn’t say anything to my mother and grandfather until we passed.
When I finally brought it up they just laughed and made me feel stupid for even talking about it so I just eventually let it go. When we came back from the cabin I looked for it again only to be disappointed and not have found it. I know what I saw. I’ve never seen a ghost or anything close, but I know I saw an elf/gnome that day. If you look up Cox's Cove trail on Google, you can actually see the exact shore (photo below) I saw the gnome on." T

Experiencer Describes Her REPTILIAN ABDUCTION in Rural Appalachia Virginia
A reader contacted me about their reptilian encounter & abduction while driving in rural Appalachia Virginia. They also provided a rough sketch of the beings.
The following information was forwarded to me:
"Hello. My abduction happened 17 years ago in rural Southwestern Virginia (2007). I don't remember it like a real memory, but it was not a dream. I was driving home from a friend's house when it happened. I can remember vaguely what they looked like and a few other things. When my memory kicks in, I'm sitting outside the car on the side of the road. I have never told the police and I never plan on it. I would just be laughed at or put in the nut house. I have wanted to do this to get it off my chest.
The aliens I remember as looking rather reptilian. They weren't your cliche big heads and gray skin, but they were bipedal. Their craft I don't rightly remember, apart from the inside being very smooth and very bright above me. It is scary to think about, but I do remember a few things they did to me. I wore a mask of some sort and they pulled hair samples. There was a slight 'buzzing' I recall and a thing over the top of my head. There were several of them. When I woke up I was fully clothed beside my car on the same road I was traveling on when I last remembered. I had no scars or puncture marks so I don't think they injected me or anything.
Their appearance was the most frightening thing about it. How foreign they looked, but still how they were somewhat familiar to something I had seen. It was a feeling I can't express. As far as making an official report, if any of the agencies would be willing to take me seriously, I would gladly describe it to them. This is why I'm contacting you after I read your book and blog." G
NOTE: I contacted the experiencer and we discussed her encounter & abduction. The more personal details have been left out of this post. I will state that the abduction is still very fresh in the experiencer's mind, though she has begun to remember more details as time has passed. That is not unusual for most experiencers. UNKNOWN RUNNING CREATURE or ENTITY Encountered by U.S. Soldier in Afghanistan!
A U.S. soldier was on guard duty one night in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. They encountered an unknown entity that was running along the wall enclosure.
I received the following account:
"I was deployed in Marjah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2010-2011. I had a lot of weird experiences. I've seen many unexplained lights in the sky. That was wild, but I had one experience that absolutely terrified me.
I was standing my guard post alone in the middle of the night. Must have been between 0200-0400. It was a quiet night and everything was almost silent, which was weird because there were always dogs barking and running around and goats randomly screaming. My post was isolated at the NE corner of our FOB, a good 100+ yards away from the next post. It was built on top of part of the mud wall that surrounded the compound and it was enclosed like a tree house. We built a sturdy roof on it so guys could climb on top and get a good view of the area if we needed to. The post itself must have been 15 feet high in total. There was a mud hut where some Afghan security guards slept on one side, and the wall the post was connected to on the other.
I was standing there and contemplating my life choices when all of a sudden I heard something running along the wall behind me outside of the post. The wall was only about a foot thick and would be impossible for a man to run on top of it. It didn't sound like a dog, because whenever its feet hit the top of the wall, it made a clicking sound like it had talons or something. There was a section of concertina wire a few feet out from the post on the top of the wall and when it made it to that section, this thing lept on top of my post and stomped its feet right above my head, like it was messing with me. Like a full-grown man stomping his feet. Immediately after that it sprinted full speed and lept onto the roof of the mud hut the Afghan security guards were sleeping in and then into the darkness. It happened fast. I didn't see it. I heard it and felt its presence.
I was obviously freaking out and frantically swinging around the 240B with the thermal sights and I couldn't see it anywhere. There was no way it was a human. It couldn't have been an animal because the way it moved was just different. I don't know how to explain it. When it was on top of the post, it was like a large man was stomping his feet, but the way it jumped off the top was so fast and fluid like it knew exactly where to go.
I've never told this to anyone, but it was probably the most scared I've ever been in my life." N
