TRANSPARENT PTERODACTYL-LIKE Flying Creatures Seen Over Washington Beach

"There were 2 of them. Very large (wing span of Cessna airplane) transparent flying creatures flying or swimming high in the sky near the Bremerton beach and over my in-law's house."

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon, I've been searching the internet for years for an explanation of what my husband and I saw back in July 1997 in Bremerton, Washington on a warm summer night at about 10pm. They began to glide over the evergreen tree line into the moonlight which made them visible.

There were 2 of them. Very large (wing span of Cessna airplane) transparent flying creatures flying or swimming high in the sky near the Bremerton beach and over my in-law's house. The head was clearly similar to a prehistoric bird with a pterodactyl-type beak and although the body/wings reminded us of a sting ray (no feathers), it had feet and a long prehistoric bird-like tail. They seemed to glide in the air.

They glided about ten feet above our heads (colorless and transparent) like Wonder Woman's airplane. Hold a glass underwater and examine how that looks. You can clearly see the shape but not much more. That is exactly how it looked in the moonlight. It took on the reflection of everything around it as if reflective glass when the light hit it just right.

They made no noise, completely silent. One swooped down so low that if we had stood on his dad's truck we could have reached up and touched it as it flew overhead. It glided above us and seemed to almost run into the neighbor's house, then veered and glided down the street & then into the darkness. We heard no wing flapping. It was silent.

None of the family believed us. I wouldn't have believed my husband except I saw it with my own eyes. We didn't feel threatened by them, and they didn't seem to be stalking us, but rather cruising by.

I hope one day this mystery is solved, but I did think maybe it's two dimensions colliding for a brief time? It seemed so prehistoric. I'm religious so I had also wondered if it could have been spiritual. Anyway, glad to know we are not alone in similar sightings. Some comfort in that." K

NOTE: Even though the descriptions were similar to pterosaurs, they seemed to have the same qualities described in many of the flying ray sightings I've been investigating over the years. Some of these factors included body shape, transparency, stealth, silence, and near water. The state of Washington has a history of cryptid bird sightings, notably, smaller pterosaur-like creatures. Are these manifestations or flesh & blood creatures? Lon

Did Grandfather's SPIRITUAL ENERGY Manifest to Save Grandson's Life?

"I have since had more traumatic experiences with the paranormal and have shut myself off to their influences, but I still remember the events with my grandpa vividly."

The following account was forwarded to me:

"Thanks for reading this. Before my grandpa passed away, he had always been telling us how after he had died, he would appear to us in his white clothes and watch over us. He passed away from cancer when I was 8.

The years passed and I was a very unhappy kid, with undiagnosed autism, and a sexual assault victim, so at age 14 I tried to hang myself. It failed thank God. As I was drifting away, my grandpa's image appeared to me and told me this wasn't my time to go yet and begged me to wake up. I did wake, lying on my bedroom floor and I ran downstairs to my mum, crying, telling her what I had done. She went upstairs shortly after to clean up the ropes and told me much later that it looked as if they had been cut clean with a knife.

After that traumatic event, I began seeing things, puffs of mist outside in front of my bedroom window. When I was 16 was the first time I actually saw that it was my grandpa, just floating in front of my window. I tried to talk to him a few times, I asked him why he couldn't come inside, and he responded that he couldn't, because my mum had asked him not to. We spoke about a few things on occasion, when he mentioned the day when I tried to take my own life. He told me he tried to save me by cutting the rope and then went to check on me a few times. One time, my younger brother apparently saw him slip into my bedroom and got scared, after which my mother apparently went upstairs, and asked my grandpa if he was there to please not come in anymore as he was scaring her son.

I decided to tell my mum about all this and took her out for dinner, telling her everything. She was shocked and amazed and confirmed that she did tell her father to not come inside and that was why he stayed outside. I'm just glad she believed me.

I have since had more traumatic experiences with the paranormal and have shut myself off to their influences, but I still remember the events with my grandpa vividly." F

NOTE: I have read numerous accounts from people who believe that a loved one's energy intervened during a suicide attempt or other dangerous situation. Does it really occur or is it a thought form unconsciously manifested by the victim? Your thoughts? Lon

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING? Bizarre Biped Seen in Oakdale, Pennsylvania Area

"It was huge, barrel-chested, hunched over, and gangly. I thought it was an ape at first but then I realized the body shape of this thing wasn't the same as an ape."

I received the following sighting account:

"Hi. I saw something last Wednesday (December 18, 2024) and I'm wondering if anyone has any theories. Let me start by saying my boyfriend saw it first a couple weeks ago. He got off of work at 1 AM in the morning and was driving home. He was about 3 minutes from our apartment in Oakdale, PA (just south of Pittsburgh). He described this creature as tall. It was hunched over walking on two legs and in that pose it was 6 feet. It had a big chest, skinny arms with claws, skinny legs, and fast. He saw it and by the time he realized what it was, it started to sprint.

Now I just saw this thing, or I think I did. We live next to St. Patrick's Cemetery. It's foggy but the cemetery is well lit and we're literally across the street. I was doing laundry which is in the basement of our building. Walking back up to our second-floor apartment I looked over across into the graveyard from the deck and saw a silhouette of something moving. It was basically what my boyfriend described. It was huge, barrel-chested, hunched over, and gangly. I thought it was an ape at first but then I realized the body shape of this thing wasn't the same as an ape. It looked like it was walking on knuckles. I couldn't make out any specific details because it was across the street and just a silhouette but it definitely spooked me a bit.

What the Hell is that thing? I'm a bit freaked out now." S

'BEAR COUGAR' CRYPTID Sightings Reported in Pike County, Pennsylvania

"The creature had been seen by a local man who was a retired veterinarian/wildlife warden. He offered a bounty to any hunter who could capture or kill the creature."

I received the following account:

"I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania, in rural Pike County, very near Promised Land State Park. I and many others in my town had seen what locals referred to as a 'bear cougar.' This was a four-legged cat-like animal body that was built like a bear, only slighter in the frame. The fur was a deep brown, and the creature had a long bushy tail, almost like a fox tail, but more like a big cat. The creature’s head and ears were cat-like, but its muzzle was elongated like a bear/dog.

I saw this creature run across the road one morning on my way to work. Lots of locals had seen this creature for several months in 2019. Most notably, the creature had been seen by a local man who was a retired veterinarian/wildlife warden. He has seen bears and he has seen mountain lions (even though the Game Commission avows that they aren’t in Pennsylvania) and he was adamant that this creature was neither of the two, but claimed that it looked like a hybrid of the two animals. He went so far as to offer a bounty to any hunter who could capture or kill the creature.

A few months after that, the State Police and Game Commission were seen in much higher concentrations around the area (this is a very rural community and the only time we see police is when they are called, so it was strange to see them patrolling the area). Shortly after that, no more sightings of the creature had been reported.

Have you received any similar reports of this creature?" P

NOTE: The Pocono Mountains region has produced a wide variety of cryptid sightings for a long period. Bear, Bigfoot, and cryptid canine sightings and encounters are not uncommon. As far as a 'bear cougar,' that's a new one to me. Lon

Confused Deer Hunter Recalls Possible BIGFOOT Encounter in Central Missouri

"I heard this loud, sustained 'WHOOOOOP' coming from right behind me. I don't think I've ever jumped up, spun around, and drawn a bow so fast."

I received the following account:

"Hi. I've always been interested in the idea of a North American ape. I'm not convinced that they exist, and I haven't ever seen one, but I have no doubts that something fitting the description could survive quite handily across the country. I have had one experience that's left me confused, so here goes.

I'm an avid outdoorsman. I've hunted and fished. I'm from Central Missouri, and I know what we have and what we don't have. We have a few mountain lions scattered around and even fewer black bears. The only common things that are big and wild are deer, coyotes, and turkeys. That being said, I really enjoy deer hunting. Our farm is situated on bluffs and ridges along the Missouri River in the center of the state. And while it's actually pretty populated, the terrain is incredibly rough and hard to get around on. That being said, our acreage isn't huge, but the surface area is. All kinds of ravines, gullies, hollows, etc.

It was a few years ago when I was halfway through undergrad and went home on a weekend during bow season. So it's a half-hour drive from the house to the farm and I show up well before daylight. And as luck would have it, I forgot my keys to my dad's box stand (we keep it locked so the neighbors don't vandalize it). That didn't bother me much though because like I said, rough terrain, it isn't hard to find a spot that sits over a game trail where I can have some elevation and cover. I grew up around this farm so I knew where trails were. All I had was a pack with some stuff like a knife, rope and tags, my bow, and a little LED flashlight. I took off down the side of a ridge and found a good spot where I could lean against a tree that overlooked a trail with some brush in front of me for cover. I figured I'd wait for the sun to come up and a doe would come by and I'd be home with a deer by lunchtime. I got to the spot, set down my pack, nocked an arrow, and of course, turned off my light. I got there probably too early and there was no sign of daylight yet, especially considering how thick the woods were.

I had been standing there for a half hour, maybe 45 minutes and then I heard a pack of coyotes. Like I said, not unusual, we have those. What I didn't like was that I was on the ground with only a bow, in the dark, and the yips and howls were getting closer. It would be a real pain to accidentally surprise a pack of coyotes like that. I've never heard of them bothering people, but you know how surprised animals freak out.

So I was getting ready to maybe arrow a coyote and was listening intently to where they were. As they came closer I noticed something bigger was with them. My initial thought was that they were chasing a deer. I could hear leaves rustling loudly and some limbs snapping. Once again, that all makes sense. I had decided that it was a big deer, maybe two of them together. They were really tearing up the leaves as they came, and the yipping and howling was right there with them. They must've passed me maybe 30 or 40 yards farther down the hillside and went right on by without noticing me at all. They were in a heck of a hurry too, before I could even think of estimating the time I had lost the sound of the coyotes in the ravines and woods.

I kind of eased up then. Probably wasn't going to have to shoot anything for a while yet, if anything came around at all. And right then when I was relaxed I heard this loud, sustained "WHOOOOOP" coming from right behind me. I don't think I've ever jumped up, spun around, and drawn a bow so fast. Of course, you can't handle a bow and light at the same time, so I was stuck there, in the dark, with something whooping right behind me, with only a bow. You can imagine I was a little tense. After about a minute I let off the draw, but I kept my release on the string. I didn't move for another hour, not till I could see a way without a light. After the sun came up enough I walked out very slowly and kept looking behind me. Got to the truck and went home. I was totally done hunting for the weekend.

So what was it? Like I said, I've been in those woods my entire life, and I have never heard anything like that. I thought about owls and looked up every owl call I could find and none of them were like that. The only thing that I've heard that sounds like it is supposed Bigfoot vocalizations. So then that makes me wonder, was a pack of coyotes chasing a Sasquatch? Not likely. So then I thought, well what if the Sasquatch was chasing the coyotes? Either to kill them out of spite or to kill them for food?

At any rate, the whole thing was weird. I would never even think it was remotely possible for something like that (if they exist at all) to be found in Missouri so close to civilization. Of course, after I did some Googling I found other cases of Missouri sightings, and a lot of them." W

Teen Girls Experience ALIEN ABDUCTION Together

"She remembers it all clearly, and she remembers the other 3 times she was abducted as well. At first, they paralyzed her somehow and did all sorts of invasive experiments on her."

I received the following account:

"Hello. When my mom and her friend Lisa were teenagers, they were up on the roof of Lisa's house and saw a bright light in the sky. The next thing they know, the light is gone. They think they've been on the roof for about 15 minutes, but 3 hours passed.

My mom doesn't remember anything about what happened during that time, and Lisa simply refuses to talk about it. She would answer my mom with things like "I dunno" and "Just drop it" for a long time.

So a couple months later, mom moves away and loses contact with Lisa for about 10 years. She finally meets up with her again and immediately notices that something is odd about Lisa. Lisa appeared very "distant" to her, with a very "dreamy" demeanor. Like she was really happy and at peace, for no good reason. After they talk for a bit, Lisa brings up the incident on the roof. Mom says she still doesn't really remember anything about it.

But Lisa remembers. She remembers everything. She said that at first, it was all in bits and pieces and she couldn't remember any of it clearly. She was confused and scared and wanted to avoid discussing it. Then, as time passed, she began to remember more of it.

She remembers it all clearly, and she remembers the other 3 times she was abducted after that clearly as well. At first, they paralyzed her somehow and did all sorts of invasive experiments on her, but by the most recent time, they stopped probing her and began to talk with her. They didn't speak English or any other human language, but she could understand everything they said, even though she couldn't speak their language herself. Apparently, they told her all sorts of things - stuff about space, Earth itself, and most shockingly, predicted years beforehand that she would get pregnant in a specific year and it would also be stillborn and that she would never be able to have children again. They also told her that it was not their fault and they even made an attempt to save her from this fate, but they were unsuccessful.

They also told her that they had abducted my mother. Another time, after that first incident. Mom says she has no recollection of any other potential abductions, but she does have recurring nightmares of being abducted, but she's "almost sure" that they're just that - nightmares.

Anyway, Lisa tells Mom that every time she speaks with them, she comes to understand "the truth" more and more. When mom inquires what "the truth" is, Lisa just says, "You will know eventually." She says that once she learned of "the truth", then "everything became wonderful".

Mom has seen her a few more times over the years (we still live in another state from her), and she apparently has a pretty normal life, and doesn't like to obsess over alien stuff (like some supposed alien abductees do), she only ever brings it up in passing, not like it's a central part of her daily life." DUENDE Encountered in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico

"It was like a little person, no bigger than 2 feet, it had the face of an old man with a fairly large nose old ragged clothes that looked like they were handmade, and a hat something like a garden gnome."

I received the following account:

"I grew up in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. This happened to me, my little brother, and my cousin. I was about 14 years old and it was around dusk.

We decided to go play basketball on the outside courts. It was still daylight when we first got there and we usually start heading home about dusk or when the court lights come on, it was only a few blocks away from our grandma's house.

When the lights come on is usually when the bigger kids get the court to play, but this time we were fortunate enough to have the whole court to ourselves. We were shooting hoops like normal nothing out of the ordinary and the lights came on but we were having fun anyway, the game was 21 so two of us would stand to the side of the hoop depending on which direction the ball would go so it wouldn't roll to the street. and on one of these shots that my cousin made ball just missed the hoop and bounced behind it I managed to grab it before leaving the court when I saw a strange creature.

It was like a little person, no bigger than 2 feet, it had the face of an old man with a fairly large nose old ragged clothes that looked like they were hand made and a hat something like a garden gnome would be one of those pointy hats but it wasn't straight up it hanged down to the side. It was crouched down almost like in hiding and when I got too close to it that's when it stood up, looked at me, and ran away from me.

Believe me. my first thought was not to chase it. I was scared stiff but my cousin and little brother saw it too and ran. When it ran it was headed for the other side of the court. I couldn't believe the speed of it, for this thing to be so small it made it to the other side in mere seconds, almost a blink of an eye. It ran behind the post and it was gone I snapped out of it and I started to run home as well, and as I ran past that same post this thing ran behind. I turned to look to see if it was there but it was gone.

When I got home my little brother and cousin had already told the adults there what had happened and they told us that these creatures are called Duendes. Apparently, there are different types of them too, so that's my experience." C

"This happened 6 years ago. My boyfriend and I were visiting the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary near Mysore in South India.

An absolutely beautiful place, where the Kaveri River flows lazily amongst small, heavily forested islets, the trees crowded with nests of painted storks, spoonbills, cranes, and dozens of other species. Freshwater crocodiles lurk in the dark waters, all too eager to snap up unwary birds or unfortunate fledglings. Here the trees are not only home to the birds but also big flying foxes; the Indian fruit bat.

It was here we saw it, while gently being rowed around in a small wooden boat. At first, we thought it was a fruit bat. Although they tend to roost during the day there were still the odd ones flaunting convention and wheeling around in broad daylight. The first thing we noticed was its size. I know that Indian fruit bats are large, very large, but this dwarfed them. We close with nothing obscuring our vision, probably about 50 meters away over the open water. It was at least four times bigger than the large bats with about a 7-metre (about 20-foot) wing span, and it glided while they flapped. It swooped down to the water, and on the wing plucked a 60-70cm (about 2 foot) fish effortlessly out of the water, carrying it off, thrashing, in one claw. Its body was smooth, not furry, and a mixture of greys, whereas the bats were clearly very dark brown to black. As it flew off, its silhouette was clearly not of a bat, the anatomy different.

This was not a flying fox. I am sure of it. I have seen many flying foxes, up close. This was huge and distinctly different. Also, fruit bats are vegetarian, eating, well, fruit and not fish. I have been an avid student of nature for years, and I am aware that you get fishing bats, but not only are they small, but there are no fishing bats in India. It was not a bird of prey; the taut, membranous skin of its wings clearly stretched out between the bones of its 'fingers'. The Indian flying fox is the largest species in the world, this was bigger, much bigger. They were practically side by side for comparison." K

Pennsylvania Family Encounters MASSIVE UAP on Rural Clearfield County Highway

"His vision of the stars was suddenly impeded by a black mass so large he estimates it spanned many miles. The craft was gigantic and silent."

I received the following account:

"Hi. The following account is from my Dad. He's told it to me a few times while growing up. When my Dad was 18 or so, back in 1978 or 1979, he was riding home from Wednesday night church with his father, his sister, and his brother. Their black Buick made its way back home along an empty stretch of highway. My dad leaned his head against the glass and watched the stars. He says it was a perfectly clear night, and he could see the huge expanse of sky stretch to the horizon. We live in a rural area of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, and even now in 2024, at night I can see stars unaffected by light pollution. His vision of the stars was suddenly impeded by a black mass so large he estimates it spanned many miles.

His father stopped the car in the middle of the highway and all four passengers got out to stare up at this huge, flat, black expanse, the bottom of some sort of craft. It was gigantic and silent. Dad says that little lights shone here and there, as if through windows, but it remained unmoving for a moment, as did his family as they stared in shock at this massive object. It was so large he couldn't identify its dimensions, it just looked flat. He could not even estimate its distance for the size of the thing.

Suddenly a rectangular hatch or a door of some kind lowered allowing a dazzling bright light to escape from within the craft, and Dad could see that at least where the door was, this part of the craft was curved, like the bottom of a saucer. A much smaller aircraft like some weird plane or a strangely shaped rocket slowly exited the hatch door, which raised up and closed once the craft was free of the doorway. The looming black mass remained still for a moment, then as suddenly and silently as it arrived, it flew away and up into the night sky impossibly fast. The smaller craft it left behind, and it too hesitated perfectly still in the night sky before it shot away laterally, toward the horizon.

My Dad and his family were too shocked to move or say anything for several minutes. Finally, my grandfather said, "C'mon, y'all, dinner's waiting." They piled back into the Buick. My Dad says dinner was quiet, none of them spoke before going to bed. The next day they didn't speak about it, but by Christmas a few months later, they treated it like a joke, a novelty story to entertain the extended family. But my Dad has never forgotten the experience.

My dad is unfailingly honest. He doesn't like tall tales, he has no interest in unsolved mysteries or unexplained events, and he dislikes sci-fi (other than the original Star Trek series.) He's just a simple countryman who keeps to himself. He has no other story like this one, so I believe him 100% that he witnessed this event and that he is not exaggerating anything.

I live in the same area he did back then, while he lives about 30 miles away. I drive along that same highway and I pass the same Baptist church he says he passed just before the craft appeared, and I look up into the sky each time and try to imagine what it must have been like to see something so big looming overhead. I've heard theories that UFO sightings and run-ins with extraterrestrials can run in families, and I always have this small hope that one night while driving home, I'll pass that church and have my own experience. So far my life has been bereft of UFOs though." D
