Cheveyo Series Update

Holy CRAP! It is cold. We had a week of 35 degree weather and I think I got spoiled. Within two days, the temperature dropped 20 degrees and it is bitter cold now. Brrrrrrr.

My work week is finally done. It’s a good thing too. I needed to get out of there before I got into any more trouble. My mouth ran away with me and it took a while for my brain to catch up. But I have the next five days off. Yay! Lil Miss Abby will be here tomorrow but after that my schedule is clear. My goal this week is to plow through 3 chapters. It’s a tall order, I know.

I have been trying to come up with the main plot for the third book in the Cheveyo Series for a while and I was stumped. Until today! I am soooo excited. It’ll be so cool! Or at least that’s the plan. You’ll have to let me know this summer, when #3 comes out. That reminds me… Does anyone have any suggestions for the title of book 3? I think I’m going to add a poll on my website this week, if you would like to vote for one. Leave a comment if you have your own ideas. If I wind up using a title you suggested, I will include your name on the acknowledgements page. That is all for now. Carry on!

Ring Update

I’m plugging away. Yesterday I wrote a poem! I know it doesn’t sound like that big of a deal but it is, trust me. I don’t do poetry, no-way, no-how. But I did it and it doesn’t suck. Bonus! It’s actually pretty good, especially for a first try. We’ll see if I feel the same way in a month.

I found the music for the Ring of Truth trailer. I’m also going to try my hand at animation. It should be very cool (once I figure out how the program works).

I’m working away on Ring of Truth and making headway. I still hope to publish in March but I could use some help. Is anyone interested in being a beta reader for Ring of Truth? If you are fill out the contact form here and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

Google Play

Truth’s Evil Light is now available on Google Play. I think that about covers the eBook stores, with the exception of Barnes and Noble. I have no idea what is taking them so long. The paperback is on there but not the eBook. It was only supposed to take a few days to show up. It has been about 3 weeks now. I’ll have to check it out Monday.

Ice Fishing

I just went ice fishing for the first time. Cool! Fishing is one of my favorite things and ice fishing is awesome. Love the Vexilar (I hope that’s how you spell it). We didn’t catch many keepers (about 10 bluegills). Most of our bites were baby perch and crappies. My husband did get one bite that wound up breaking his line. He caught a glimpse of it and thought it was a northern. Whatever it was 3 lb line wasn’t enough. That was on the tip-down I got him for Christmas. He was pretty impressed with it. It was about 15 degrees out but not much wind, so it wasn’t too bad. My legs and toes did get cold eventually but by then the fish started biting and all was well. We stopped at the store and got me a decent pair of boots and some snow pants. I will definitely be going again real soon.

Finally! Truth’s Evil Light eBook edition is available in the Apple iBook Store. Now I’m waiting on Nook and Page Foundry.
