We simply MUST do 'something'!

It’s the ‘Something’ equation within Climate Crisis hysteria that’s the dead giveaway!

We’re not really that sure what it is that we ‘think’ will burn the planet up and create epic global disaster but we have to do SOMETHING about it and fast.

Perhaps a nice green banner for the kids to take to school, a poster of that brave Ms Greta Thunberg, or a letter about the evils of greenhouse gas to the local rag's editor could aid in stopping natural forest fires and rising tidal levels?

It couldn't j...

UK urged to ‘follow US’ and take UFO sightings seriously following lack of reporting

Well done the Whitehaven News for once again highlighting the UFO Axis

What Nick Pope said regarding the lack of UFO reports is so true:

“Another factor is that, following the closure of the MoD’s UFO desk in 2009, there’s no focal point for the public to make reports.”

“Thus, we get the false impression that there are very few reports, because they’re spread thinly: some witnesses still report to the MoD, others to the police, some to the media, others to civilian UFO groups.”

Silver Voices; campaign to delay the switch over of traditional copper wire landlines to internet -based telephone systems

Silver Voices latest campaign is gathering pace.

'Our campaign to delay the switch over of traditional copper wire landlines to internet -based telephone systems (VoIP or Digital Voice) is fast gathering pace. Just before Christmas it emerged that Michelle Donelan, the Technology Secretary, had ordered the telecom companies to protect vulnerable customers in the switch over, particularly those with telecare alarm systems linked to their landlines, as a result of some “serious incidents” involvi...

Big Pharma quick fix weight loss pill dumped

Pfizer is ditching its plans for a potentially lucrative weight loss pill after trials showed it caused significant side effects.  The firm had said oral obesity pills could create more than $10bn in future revenues.

Apparently, the pill, danuglipron, caused high rates of gastrointestinal side effects, with up to 73 % of participants taking the drug suffering nausea and up to 47% vomiting.

Perhaps initially less food and more exercise would be a good idea, instead of using quick-fix controversi...

Why you pay for a UK fishing licence

I have been a regular angler on many rivers and lakes etc,  for decades. I was last asked by a bailiff to show my licence in the 1980s. I know numerous other anglers who can also say the same thing, relating to lack of enforcement action on the bank.
So, does the cost of our licence just go right back into the watercourse to help fish and other wildlife in the UK, or does a wee bit of the profit go elshere?

We need to be aware of the following regarding where a lot of our fishing licence fees e...

Lazy UK legislators cherry-picking dog breeds for selective slaughter - updated!

From 1 February 2024 it will be a criminal offence to own an XL Bully in England and Wales unless you have a Certificate of Exemption for your dog.
Any dog is only as good (or bad) as it's owner. The fact is that nobody is policing bad dog owners that are the root cause of dog attacks. XL Bully dogs are only as good, or bad, as the training they receive. They are no worse than other large breeds.
An RSPCA spokesperson stated; “To focus on a specific breed or type of dog is to miss the problem it...
