It's ELECTION TIME – but have YOU been conned?

When self – publicity is the name of the game. Could an election be close at hand.

Councillors and their candidates must be publicly judged on the merits of their entire workload ‘throughout the year’ and NOT just on the massive volume of superfluous pre-election, happy clappy, photographic crap they upload about themselves, their political candidates, adorable pets, nice flowers, etc, onto social media sites.

These politicians totally bombard forums with shed-loads of irrelevant images, which co...

Lest we forget - the destruction of Kitty's Wood in Ainsdale

Kitty's Wood was a natural area with legally protected wildlife. It was effectively the green lungs of the local community in George Drive, Ainsdale.

Following an intense eco-campaign, Kitty's Wood was outrageously destroyed by developers to make way for congested ‘affordable’ housing. Labour Party members in Bootle voted decisively en masse to level the place and an ecological disaster occurred, as the old historical woodland was felled.

Campaigners tried hard to save it, at significant person...

Stuff Party Politics – vote for the person who gets things done

When it comes to elections many folks seem stuck on the 'ever so' well – indoctrinated idea of voting for party only.
This very restricted mindset is held largely because they possess little or no idea about the person they are actually trying to vote in.
Some candidates are truly worth their salt and sincerely work very hard to get things done for residents in the local community. Lynne Thompson falls into this rare bracket. Unlike what numerous feeble politicians have done before her, she has...

Immigration crisis in UK from 2017 to 2024 & our vanishing countryside

I wrote about the following crisis in 2017 and got plenty of stick for my troubles.

My blog was entitled…

Official: Extensive immigration is killing our countryside and chocking up our towns – and it’s going to get worse!

https://pat-regan.blogspot.com/2017/02/official-extensive-immigration-is.html

I stated in 2017…

‘Why is it that they shout so loud about needing more housing? Who actually needs it? Escalation of immigration means that Britain will need to accommodate as many as 243,000 new hou...

Erwin, Tennessee - The town that shamed America!

All the FUN of the circus!
Marching into the ragged Big Top to the noisy accompaniment of an inebriated four-piece band, the mistreated elephants in Charlie Sparks’s travelling circus did their best to entertain the baying audience, on one cold afternoon back in February 1916.

One sick elephant called Mary, was to meet a terrible fate at the hands of some of the monsters who lived in this town.

Riding on Mary's back was a new trainer. He goaded the poor creature and hit her in the head with a la...
