Prayer for a Healthy Heart

O most merciful Lord, I reach out to you today, frail wretch that I am, seeking comfort in my earthly body. My fragile heart has known such generous love from you, father, but through my life’s trials has become weak and in need of repair.

Oh mighty, sovereign, glorious Lord of all, though I am not worthy, I beg of you, take pity on me and restore my heart this day. Please, oh omnipotent ruler, bless me with a holy temple of a body and the health to continue my earthly ministry and service to you.

In the name of your dear Son Jesus and His precious wounds I pray,

Prayer for Housing

O most merciful Lord, you are my shelter. Your love surrounds my thoughts and houses my heart. When the storms arrive, your promises protect me. Your salvation is the bed where I lay my head.

Above all, heavenly father, I seek spiritual peace, but my earthly body aches for a safe haven – a dwelling I can call my own.

Lord, if it pleases you, and if you are willing, grant me a humble abode where I can have peace and sleep and rest.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
