Help Me Choose My Next Title by Mae Clair
Before I get into the main reason for this post, I wanted to mention that my Lyrical Press sister, D.B. Sieders, is hosting me today on her blog. She tossed some awesome questions my way about Twelfth Sun, Reagan and Elijah. I love digging deep like that, so please stop by if you can. You can find the interview here.
Next, I’ve now added a “News” page to my website. Yep, in case you forgot, I actually have one of those at www.MaeClair.com I concentrate so much on my blog, sometimes even I for...

Mythical Monday: Island Spirits by Mae Clair
Have you ever encountered a chickcarnie? How about a duppy or a Rolling Calf?If you’ve vacationed in the Caribbean Islands, you’ve already visited the habitat of these and other restless spirits.
Recently, my friend Loni Flowers took a Caribbean cruise and came across a print periodical that included an article about island folklore. Given she was enjoying crystal clear water, sparkling beaches, recreation and fun, I was thrilled she thought of me and my Mythical Monday posts (thanks, Loni!)....

Happy Tuesday, friends! After several weeks of distinctively un-August-like weather, summer has decided to make a reappearance in my small portion of the world. Who knows…I might even get to use my pool again before it’s time to close it up around Labor Day!
Aside from the swimming I plan to do, I also have a busy week planned for TWELFTH SUN as I set sail in the blogging world. If you’d like to shadow me this week, I can be found at the following haunts:

Mythical Monday: The Mystery of the Mary Celeste by Mae Clair
Even if you’re not entirely sure of the details, you know the name Mary Celeste. The 100’ brigantine has haunted the annals of sea lore since the late 1800s and is considered the ultimate nautical mystery by most. Found abandoned and adrift in Spanish waters on December 5, 1872, her crew, captain, and passengers missing, the story was first sensationalized by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in his short work of fiction, The Marie Celeste.
Throughout the years, countless retellings and distortion of fac...

Friday Tour Stop for Twelfth Sun by Mae Clair
TGIF! I’m always happy to celebrate the last day of the work week.
This Friday is an extra fun day because my good friend Donna Cummings has invited me to hang out on her blog for a Q&A as part of her Friday Friends series. I’m thoroughly jazzed to be her latest victim, er guest.
Donna always makes me laugh with her tales of “humorously ever after romances” and her questions were no different. Drop by for some fun as we embrace a thoroughly frivolous Friday!
