What episode does Glenn die in The Walking Dead, and how?
From the very first episode, The Walking Dead established itself as a show where no character was safe. Fans quickly learned never to get too attached, because the writers would ruthlessly kill off even beloved main characters for the sake of emotional impact.
Glenn was one of the few remnants left of the original Atlanta band of survivors we were first introduced to, so his violent end came as a visceral gut punch.
Let’s look deeper at Glenn’s death scene, and what actor Steven Yeun has done since leaving the iconic show.

What episode does Glenn die in The Walking Dead?First, let’s get specific on Glenn’s death for anyone not caught up. This soul-crushing moment went down in the Season 7 premiere titled “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be,” with infamous villain Negan taking Glenn out. It aired way back in October 2016 but will forever live in infamy among Walking Dead fans.
How does Glenn die in The Walking Dead?To recap Glenn’s horrific end real quick, the Season 7 opener picked things up right after Negan lined up Rick’s squad and threatened to Lucille (Lucille being his baseball bat) one of them. After a nasty round of “Eenie Meenie” mind games, he chose tough guy Abraham first and went to town bashing his head with Lucille in brutally. I mean, we see Abraham’s skull literally being pulverized as the others shriek and cry in horror just feet away. It was some intensely disturbing stuff right out the gate.
But Negan doesn’t stop there. When Daryl reacts by punching him, Negan decides to punish the group with a second killing. He turns to Glenn, who is forced to his knees next to his pregnant wife Maggie. As she wails helplessly, Negan taunts Glenn by making him say goodbye to her. Then he ruthlessly beats Glenn to death with Lucille in the same savage manner as Abraham. The camera does not shy away, making it some of the most graphic violence ever shown on The Walking Dead.
Many fans were outraged and disturbed by the level of brutality in this episode, sparking much debate about whether the show went too far. Combined with Abraham’s death, it left the premiere feeling sadistic and traumatic for devoted viewers of the series. Glenn’s murder completely shattered the hopeful, moral center of Rick’s group, setting the tone for a much darker season to come.

Who plays Glenn in The Walking Dead?The actor behind Glenn Rhee was Steven Yeun, who had been with The Walking Dead in the core cast since literally the pilot episode. As a Korean-American, Yeun brought tons of empathy and honorability to Glenn as the moral compass trying to pull humanity from an apocalyptic nightmare.
Why did Steven Yeun leave The Walking Dead?In an interview, Yeun explained, “I couldn’t be stuck servicing just a genial-natured guy for the rest of my career. On the inside, I didn’t feel that way. On the inside, I can be angry, I can be vengeful. I can be all the other things, and I wanted to explore those things for myself.”
While admitting Glenn’s death was still difficult, he said he did not put up a fight to stay on the show because he did not want to be limited to that one role.
What is Steven Yeun doing now?In the years after his Walking Dead exit, Yeun chose to step back from Hollywood and reflect on the impact Glenn had. He made clear his desire for more complex roles — perhaps even villainous characters that would obliterate any remnants of the pure-hearted Glenn.

After years in Glenn Rhee’s shadow, Minari cements Yeun as a lead actor able to compellingly carry a whole film with his talent and screen presence.
Now with Glenn six years behind him, Steven Yeun has proven his range extends far beyond the gentle-hearted pizza delivery boy that fans first fell in love with. MSNBC host Joy Reid apologized to viewers after a hot mic broadcast her profane off camera comment on Joe Biden during Monday night’s show of the Reid Out.
Reid was heard saying after introducing a clip of Biden talking about the border dispute with Congress, “Starting another f***ing war!”
Reid was likely commenting on the news that Biden is considering retaliatory strikes in the Middle East after Sunday’s deadly drone attack on U.S. troops at a base in Jordan that killed three Army reservists from Georgia and wounded several dozen soldiers.
Reid later apologized for the profanity, but not the dis of Biden, telling viewers:
“I just want to apologize very quickly. Uh, I was chatting during a clip that was playing um, and you know we try to keep this show very PG-13. So I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my behind the scenes chatter. Uh, wee deeply, deeply apologize for that, cuz you know it’s PG-13 around here.”

In an exclusive statement to Mediaite, the MSNBC host claims these posts from The Reid Report — which include defending homophobia, gay jokes, and the outright mocking of gay people and homosexuality — were somehow put in by an “external party” that “manipulated material from my now-defunct blog.”
While Reid apologized in December for writing homophobic content on a blog she ran long before her days as an icon of the #Resistance movement, she claims these new posts opposing gay marriage and cringing “at the sight of two men kissing” were part of a “fabricated” outside effort to paint her as “offensive and hateful.”

It must be election season.
California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Sunday told ABC’s Jon Karl that Joe Biden is attempting to fix the crisis at the southern border. Even more insulting, he is blaming Republicans and claiming they are trying to affect the presidential election.
Newsom also claimed that immigration reform is just as important as securing the border. Yes, more nonsense.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom claimed that President Biden is trying to act on the southern border, but Republicans are failing to act on the crisis to influence the upcoming presidential election.
“The president put out a comprehensive strategy, a pathway to citizenship along the lines of their former hero, Ronald Reagan, to address the reality on the ground,” Newsom said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos.
Newsom, a Democrat, said immigration reform is just as much of an issue as border security, outlining a $14 billion plan to get more judges to process illegal immigrants more efficiently and provide security at the border with 2,300 new border agents.
“And they [Republicans in Congress] refuse to act. They’re just promoting an agenda to disrupt and find a crowbar, to put in the spokes in the wheels of the Biden administration to disrupt any progress on this, because they don’t want progress. Period,” Newsom told ABC’s “This Week” host Jon Karl.

Since January of 2021, an estimated 11 million illegals have poured into the US. That number is rapidly growing.
TGP reported in October 2023 that the Biden regime wanted to build a border wall segment after recently selling off $300 million worth of materials for the Trump wall for only $2 million.
In November 2023, TGP reported that a Tactical Marine Unit had to pull women and children out of the Rio Grande who were on the verge of drowning. This was the result of Biden’s open invitation.

Here, at the corner of Broadway and Seventh Avenue, you will also find the Red Steps, where you can take pictures, just sit down or get last-minute tickets for the many Broadway shows that offer a full evening’s entertainment nearby.
Statue of Liberty on Liberty IslandMore than just a statue, it symbolizes freedom and democracy.
Did you know that it was a gift from France for the 100th anniversary of the USA and was designed by Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower in Paris?
The seven spikes in the Statue of Liberty‘s crown represent the seven oceans and continents of the world, and the broken chains at her feet symbolize the end of slavery. And so, since 1886, she has stood strong and steady with her torch on Liberty Island as a constant reminder.
The Staten Island Ferry offers a free view of the imposing statue on its 25-minute trip. It runs from Whitehall Terminal near Battery Park in Manhattan to St. George Terminal on Staten Island.

I have never had such delicious sushi outside of Japan. The mixed sushi platter with seven surprise nigiri and a maki of your choice is a real treat.
The great thing about this place is that you can stop by on the spur of the moment and usually get a seat with a short wait.
The Blue Ribbon sushi restaurant in the heart of Soho in New York City, USA.Burger JointThe Burger Joint is a different story. If you want to come here at lunchtime with a growling stomach to satisfy your hunger, you must wait in a long queue.
Hidden behind a red velvet curtain in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel, it is no longer an insider tip. Just like in the ’50s and ’60s, the tables are close together, and the walls are covered with newspaper articles about sporting events.
Brasserie Rue 57Rue 57, a brasserie nearby, is a much more dignified place to eat without having to wait.
La FayetteLa Fayette on Lafayette Street in Noho is a wonderful restaurant and cafe. Here, you can get the special New York Rolls, rolled croissants with different fillings that people like to line up for.

Cakes and afternoon treats are also available, along with a large café au lait.

The victim’s identity has not been released, but local reports say that his initials are C.T. and he was 52 years old.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that the armed assailants attacked the Santa Maria Church in the Sariyer district at 11:40 a.m.
Meydan Medy, the official Turkish media organ of ISIS, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Yerlikaya told reporters that authorities had raided more than 30 locations across Istanbul and detained 47 people.
Alarabiya News reports that two people have been arrested for the attack and are believed to be linked to ISIS. They were captured at one of the last raids.
“Both of the suspects are foreign nationals. One of them is from Tajikistan and the other is Russian, and we evaluated them to be with Islamic State,” Yerlikaya said.
The Alarabiya report noted, “Yerlikaya said Turkish authorities had detained 2,086 people suspected of ties to ISIS during 1,046 operations since June 2023, and that 529 people had been arrested.”

Military Juntas of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso Leave African ECOWAS Organization, in a Hard Blow to Power Players France and Nigeria | The Gateway Pundit
In the last couple of years, we watched the French influence crumble and collapse amid the changing geopolitical landscape in the Sahel region of Africa – a Savannah area south of the Sahara Desert and north of the tropical Jungles.
The military juntas that rose to power in Mali, Guiana and Burkina Faso have bucked widespread international pressure and hard economic sanctions by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), that went as far as to threaten military action.
So the new decision by the three African allies to leave the organization cannot be, under any circumstances, be called a surprise.
Reuters reported:
“Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, three West African states led by the military, said on Sunday they are immediately leaving the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), a regional economic bloc that has been urging them to return to democratic rule.
The decision by the three, announced in a simultaneous joint statement on their national television channels, is a blow to the bloc’s regional integration efforts after it suspended the three following coups.”
The departure of the three countries is bound to weaken ECOWAS, who appears to have been caught by surprise, with spokesperson limiting themselves to say that ‘it is yet to receive any formal notification about the withdrawal’ and declining further comment.
ECPWAS did not recognize the military-led governments.
“Since the coups – and despite sanctions, negotiations and threats of military intervention – the military leaders have failed to provide a clear timetable for a return to constitutional rule.
Instead, they have hardened their rhetoric against the bloc and accused it of being influenced by external powers. The three have also cut military and other ties with former colonial master France, and turned to Russia for security support.”
The military leaders say they need to crush insurgencies linked to al Qaeda and Islamic State before any restoration of the democratic order.
“‘After 49 years, the valiant peoples of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger regretfully and with great disappointment observe that the (ECOWAS) organization has drifted from the ideals of its founding fathers and the spirit of Pan-Africanism’, Colonel Amadou Abdramane, Niger junta spokesman, said in the statement. ‘The organization notably failed to assist these states in their existential fight against terrorism and insecurity’, Abdramane added.”
ABC News reported:
“Widely seen as West Africa’s top political and regional authority, the 15-nation bloc of ECOWAS — formed in 1975 to “promote economic integration” in member states — has struggled in recent years to reverse rampant coups in the region where citizens have complained of not benefitting from rich natural resources.
[…] Sunday’s announcement is the latest twist in a series of events that have deepened political tension in West Africa since it experienced its latest of a string of coups — in Niger — last year. It also comes as the three nations have formed a security alliance after severing military ties with France and other European nations and turning to Russia for support.”
The countries accuse ECOWAS of failing to assist those three countries in fighting terrorism.
“’When these States decided to take their destiny into their own hands, it (ECOWAS) adopted an irrational and unacceptable posture in imposing illegal, illegitimate, inhumane and irresponsible sanctions in violation of its own texts’, the statement noted.”
This new development is another proof of the diminishing influence of the two traditional superpowers in West Africa – France and Nigeria.

Soros Dumping a Fortune Into Texas, Funding Operatives with One Goal in Mind | The Gateway Pundit
George Soros is striking again.
The progressive billionaire — who has poured a fortune into electing prosecutors who have destroyed criminal justice systems across the United States — is turning his attention to Texas, according to a Fox News report.
And the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the U.S. House has a warning about why Soros is doing it.
With President Joe Biden’s disastrous open-border policy failure to win over Hispanic voters — a failure reflected in Biden’s polling numbers — Soros is putting new millions into a state Democrats are trying to flip to their control.
“They’re seeing that Hispanics are shifting towards the Republican Party because they’re realizing that we are the party of prosperity, that we want to build a strong economy, that we want to secure the border, that we want to prioritize the people of this country and not prioritize people from outside this country,” former Rep. Mayra Flores told Fox.
“And I believe that it’s our policies that are winning people over, and the struggle is real.
“George Soros and the Democratic Party are seeing people like myself that resonate with the Hispanic community,” Flores said. “They resonate with me. I resonate with them. We have similar stories. I’m bilingual. I speak Spanish and English. We have similar stories, and we share that bond.”
That’s a bond Democrats can’t afford to see building. And a leftist billionaire like Soros can afford to do something about it.
According to Fox, Soros has pumped $3 million into the Lone Star State over the past year, with the money going to at least five liberal groups.
The time and the place are critical.
Burdened with bearing the brunt of Biden’s illegal-immigration disaster, Texas has emerged as the symbol of Republican resistance — if that word hasn’t been too sullied by the left’s machinations during the Trump presidency — to the destruction of the United States as a sovereign nation.
Under the leadership of Gov. Greg Abbott, and the Republican-controlled legislature — Texas has challenged Biden’s border policies. And while it lost a major round in the Supreme Court on Monday, when Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided with the court’s liberal justices in a lawsuit over whether the Border Patrol can cut through razor wire Texas installed to protect its borders from illegal crossings, the state has vowed to continue the fight.
That puts Texas in the crosshairs of liberal activists and the establishment media even more than usual for the Republican stronghold.
And it makes the state — with its 40 Electoral College votes — a target for influential mega-wealthy leftists like Soros.
According to 2020 Census figures the Hispanic population of Texas was essentially even with the white population (11,441, 717 Hispanics to 11,584,997 whites) and by now is probably larger.
That makes for a powerful voting bloc. And it’s a voting bloc Democrats are pandering to, with their support for blatantly disregarding the laws of the land to welcome millions upon millions of unvetted, unknown foreigners to enter the country illegally.
But Biden’s pathetic poll numbers in general — and among Hispanics who are actually American citizens and voting members of the public in particular — show how ineffective that pandering has been.
And now comes George Soros, a man who has bankrolled prosecutors who won’t prosecute criminals, to support Texas lefties against Hispanics who won’t toe the party’s leftist line.
Flores made history — and made Democrats uncomfortable — when she won her seat as a Republican in a traditionally Democratic district in a special election in June 2022.
She lost the seat in November, when the district’s politics reasserted themselves (amid a disappointing midterm election for Republicans generally).
Now, she’s warning that Soros and his millions are trying to make a different kind of history in Texas, targeting money to the state’s leftist groups to keep a growing Hispanic disgust with Biden’s border policies from setting in for the long haul.
Democrats have taken advantage of knee-jerk loyalty from black voters to maintain their power for decades. They’re trying to cement the same kind of psychology of servitude among Hispanics, too, and use it to turn the country’s second-most populous states into the same kind of lawless, leftist dumping ground they’ve already made of the first most populous state.
And Soros is putting his money where it matters — in the state of Texas.

Trump Aide Dismisses Rumors of RFK Jr. as Potential VP Pick, Labels Report as “Fake News” | The Gateway Pundit
A top aide to former President Donald Trump has firmly denied recent speculations about environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. being considered as a potential vice presidential candidate.
Chris LaCivita, a senior advisor to Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, took a strong stance against the rumors, categorically ruling out any possibility of such an alliance.
The news comes following a report from The New York Post suggesting that members of Trump’s inner circle had been exploring the possibility of partnering with RFK Jr.
However, LaCivita’s recent statement has put an end to these rumors. In a post made on Saturday, he expressed his unequivocal stance on the matter.
“This is 100% FAKE NEWS – NO ONE from the Trump Campaign ever approached RFK jr (or ever will) – one of the most LIBERAL and radical environmentalists in the country. For all the fake news- update your stories,” LaCivita wrote on X.

According to a report from The Post, ““Trump operatives expressed an interest in Kennedy early on, but it was all premature,” said one person familiar with the matter, adding that it was “right out of the box when Bobby announced” in April 2023 he was running for president. “Anything’s possible. I wouldn’t write it off by any means,” the insider continued.”
Recent polling posted at Real Clear Politics confirms that a Trump-Robert Kennedy, Jr. ticket would win over 60% of the vote. Joe Biden would be a distant second and would suffer the historic loss he deserves.
Today, America is at a crossroads. There is only one man who can lead us back to our foundation, to law and order, to a rational foreign policy, to a thriving country that respects its border.
As The Gateway Pundit reported last week, If President Trump needs to take on Robert Kennedy, Jr. to ensure a united win in November, then he should not hesitate to make that happen.
