I’m looking forward to the porn-turned-romance of course, but whales!!! will they be belugas, or is there another type that lives there? I saw a pod of orcas last sept when I was going over to Victoria, it was amazing!
They have a bunch of types, though not orcas (those are Pacific only, I think). Here we have blue whales, minkes, fin whales, humpbacks, and belugas! I went whale watching in early July from the north side of the river, near Tadoussac, so I’m hoping we see as many from the south side! :) My hosts warned me that there might not be any internet out there, though, so - bye for now, lol. :)

Wee update: the Johnlock fic (porn-turned-romance) is at 7,400 words and just getting underway for real now. :) I probably won’t be around much this weekend, though - I’m going on a wee vacation (just until Sunday night!) with two of my friends. It’s out east along the St-Laurent river and I’m excited! It’s far enough out that we’ll almost certainly see whales, whee! :)
