Struggling against shock, Sherlock sees in his mind not the assassin in the ninja outfit who fired a bullet into his inferior vena cava, but the bride who married his John, the figurative bullet in the truer heart.

Sherlock: let me explicitly say that are only two types of people who are fans of me, the crazy killer kind and the ‘I want to fuck you’ kind

Kitty: What kind’s John?

Sherlock: [10 hours of silence]

Hahaha!

Wrath

Injustice. Prejudice. Racism. Sexism. Queer-ism. (It’s really not a phobia!) Hypocrisy. Rachael Ray.

I just wanted to tell you how much I adore your Sherlock fics. I spent the last two weeks binge reading them all and I just adore them. I love your Sherlock and John, you always manage to have the right amount of angst and fluff and the dialogue is spot on

Oh, thank you so much for this!!! Holy crap, did you really read them ALL??? You’re a quick reader! Thanks for all the nice things you’ve said here - totally made my day! I’m so pleased that the way I do things seems to connect with the right places for you! Thanks so much for taking the time to come and tell me this!

When you named "The Things That Matter", did you intend it to be a related name with "Love Is"? (Love is the things that matter. Which is like an answer in John's part.) BTW your "Love Is" made me almost cry in the bus ;___;

No, although that would have been clever of me! It doesn’t work grammatically, though - “love” is singular, whereas “things” is plural. It was meant to be about John finally realising that these things he thought were so important to him didn’t matter at all in the end, once he was made to see that. And then it was easy for him to see what his priorities really were, etc. :) I’m so delighted that Love Is almost made you cry!!! :)

And now I’m wishing I HAD titled it that way! :P
