Yes, precisely. In which case, what’s the POINT? Seriously??? It’s not like their filming schedule is overly kind to the show’s fans as it is. I want more of the brilliant story they already started, not something that looks vaguely like it but has nothing to do with it. I’m still hoping it can be explained within canon, though…

Yeah, it’s really a different Holmes to the Sherlock we know, who wears that hair as part of his character. It makes me really wonder what that shorn character will be like…and not with happy anticipation.

That hair IS a part of his character. It softens Ben’s face in a way that doesn’t happen in any other character he does, and I know it sounds stupid, but I feel like we’ll lose all of Sherlock’s recent softer edges with it. Then again, who the hell knows what kind of characterisation we’ll be getting since who the hell knows if this has ANY relationship with canon or not… :/ Seriously, why couldn’t they have just made a REAL episode???? Fun costumes or not, I find this so frustrating! And I miss the curls, damn it!! 

Do you think John's sister will be in series 4 ? I kinda wanna see what kind of person's she's like, and she's always asking John to meet up in his blog so. And I just started reading your fanfic, seems great so far ! :3

About Harry - I have no idea, really. I have no idea why they haven’t introduced her so far; it doesn’t really make sense. I found it very strange that she wasn’t at the wedding, but then between her drinking problem and Sherlock’s giant, two-sided list of people who hate Mary, there are two obvious possible explanations there. I’d like to meet her! I’ve written three completely different versions of her now and I’d like to know what the real version is like!

The last stage of resistance to becoming a proper grown-up: shamefully refusing to learn how to file my own taxes. My friend just agreed to do it for me!!!!! WHOO! :D Apparently it’s all confusing now that I live in Québec because there are TWO forms or something, and no other province does that, so my dad was bewildered and angry and decided he doesn’t want to do it any more. So much yay for my friend David! :))))))
