Never forget that Sherlock has read John’s blog and knows all about “Three Continents Watson”. This is Sherlock trying to open a conversation about sex. While lying next to John.

Just saying.

Hey - so am I following your sideblog/other blog and you’d rather I was following this one? What’s your other blog? (Message me and we can sort it all out!) :) It seems that this blog, at least, is not following me (nor I it), but we can fix that, if you want! Just let me know.

No, I don’t find her playful or fun. I find Moriarty playful and fun, and would never, ever want him to be in a relationship with someone I cared about. Magnussen, though? Magnussen is horrible and I cheered when Sherlock blew his head off, though generally speaking, I’m a pacifist. I would also cheer if Mary were made to pay for her crimes in SOME way, which she never has. I want her to be brought to justice for lying to John, for shooting Sherlock, for making money for taking people’s lives. All of it. For the way she treats John and uses people. I agree that she’s a villain but I don’t see anything at all likeable in her. There are loveable villains. For me, Mary isn’t one of them. I want her to go to prison and stay the hell away from John and Sherlock.

…of all the amazing stories I’ve personally heard of BC and his interactions with fans the past week, i think him mentioning to a fan at stage door that he couldn’t wait to get home to his son, is the loveliest :-) …

I think what I like best about your stories is that you like Mary just as much as I do. It's good to see someone so like-minded.

So, somewhere on the negative scale, then? :D It IS nice! The odd thing is, I felt so alone in despising Mary from the proposal scene forward. In the four stories I wrote between The Empty Hearse and His Last Vow, I tried to be kind-ish to her. Although I will say that I was the almost certainly the first one to write the baby not being John’s (in Liability, which I wrote before HLV aired). I felt very alone in hating Mary, and once she was revealed as a villain in HLV, I felt so relieved - at least until the forgiveness/taking back scene, which left me HELLA disgruntled. When I made my first post about reasons I hadn’t even liked Mary before she shot Sherlock, it was late February of 2014 and people RAINED the hate down on me for posting it. When I made a second lengthy post almost a year later, it was much more popular. It’s been interesting to see the way the fandom has come around a bit more on her… :P I have other Mary posts as well (such as this one, from more recently), but just the contrast between responses to those two has been curious. I’m not much of a meta writer - I usually put all of that into my stories, but either way - I’m really glad we see eye-to-eye on all that! :)
