I know, right??? They’re all hilarious, though! Harper as Joffrey is perfect, but the other ones all fit really well, too! :P

*slams fist on table* GIVE US THE SCENE OF JOHN WAITING IN SHERLOCK’S HOSPITAL ROOM. GIVE IT TO US.

Have you read @silentauroriamthereal The Yellow Poppies? It’s one of my faves. It is perfectly written.

@happierstill, I seriously adore you for the sheer number of times you’ve recommended this story, among many other reasons!! But if I may just say… The Yellow Poppies is all from Sherlock’s POV, so you don’t really get the whole John experience of the night that Sherlock was shot. Whereas you do in Vena Cava, which is a John POV. Just if anyone’s interested. :D

“And so do you, my dear … John.”

For @atikiosity and @silentauroriamthereal, who felt that something needed to be done about Special Sherlock’s hair (and John’s moustache). Hope you approve.

I love you, @khorazir!!! This is glorious!!

Just a tiny PSA to say that I’m feeling a lot better today. Bit of space always helps, plus the incredible, utterly overwhelming amount of love from you all. :)))) I still don’t like that we have this culture in our fandom of crapping on people like that, and so many of you told me about your experiences of this, too. It isn’t even that I was wanting to be encouraged; I just wanted to remind people that fanartists and writers are under no obligation to continue sharing their work if people are going to be like that. But this is absolutely preaching to the choir, because you lot are freaking fantastic. :))))))

AND someone has rescued me from being all alone on Thanksgiving and invited me to dinner, along with some of my favourite other people here in Québec, so I’m happy now! And bonus, @iriswallpaper just started reading Scars (if you click that, see warnings before reading!!!) and is commenting as she goes! For whatever reason, dark as it is, this is one of my favourite stories and I’m always happy when someone new reads it! :) Yay!

Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadians out there! I hope you all have someone to feed you turkey and whatnot today/this weekend! <3333333

Syria became home to the refugees who fled the armies of Ibrahim Basha in 1839

Syria became home to the Circassian refugees in 1860

Syria became home to the Armenian refugees in 1914

Syria became home to the Palestinian refugees in 1948

Syria became home once again to Palestinian refugees in 1967

Syria became home to the refugees from Kuwait in 1990

Syria became home to refugees from Lebanon in 1996

Syria became home to the refugees from Iraq in 2003

Syria became home to the refugees from Lebanon in 2006

It will be written in the history books and generations will remember, that Syria never closed it’s borders for those who fled their homes seeking safety and refuge.

Syria has never asked any Arab for a visa to enter it’s lands whether it was a visit or permanent stay.

In Syria not a single tent was put up on the borders to accommodate for refugees across the years, houses were opened, streets were vacated and cities were renamed to allow for refugees to feel at home.

Let it be written in the history books and let the generations remember, that when a Syrian needed help and refuge; borders were closed and the world looked away.

I haven’t posted much here about this, but it’s something I feel very passionately about. May I just say, let it NOT be said that when Syria needed help, the world turned them away. Speaking as a Canadian, sitting here in a developed country with enough money to go around and vast, VAST tracts of unoccupied land, I hope that my country elects a government next week that will open its borders unhesitatingly to every single refugee who applies. May it NOT be said that Syrians had nowhere to go.

This is a crisis for the entire world community and we need to figure out how to work together to get these people to safety. I don’t know what the solution is to a terrorist government fighting a terrorist organisation. What I know is that people need help and I hope they get it - which is to say, I hope that we give it. This is going to be an important issue for every corner of the world in the next little while, I think. I hope we jointly make the decision to write some good history for once. If you’re in a position to help the refugees in any way, I hope you find yourself one and do something small. (Or something big!) There will be refugees arriving in many of our countries. They’ll need money and food and shelter, but they’ll also need things that money can’t buy, like welcoming and support, language lessons, to be shown how to use bus/subway systems, taught about winter, things like that. You could also just donate $5 to some organisation. If prayer or good-vibe-sending is a thing you’re into, you could do some of that, too.

This is bigger than religion or personal politics and some days I fear that the world is getting more xenophobic, not less. Let’s change that. Tumblr is probably the most socially-advanced arena in the world, so let’s help move this thing along! :)

It pleases me to think that when Mary is finally carted off to a maximum security prison or dies, many many people will think immediately of me, dancing in glee, alone in my apartment. Because I will be. :D

I love the idea of them wanting to hide away from the world while their relationship is new. Really love -“It was the first real time,” Sherlock says, not meaning to interrupt but needing to say it. “The first time that meant – what it meant.”

Thanks a lot for this. :))) Means a lot to me! <333333

Can someone please photoshop Sherlock’s real hair onto all of the ShSpesh photos, and/or the trailer? I just want to see if he looks/sounds like actual Sherlock again with the hair… right now I see Benedict playing some cool character, but I don’t see Sherlock. Is it all just the hair, or… ?

I still hate Martin’s moustache but he looks damned good in that get-up, otherwise. :)
