Review: SilentAuror is a Johnlock fanfic reader/addict’s dream come true.
About every six weeks or less, she releases a 10K or longer fic that is always
breathlessly romantic, beautifully written, sexy as hell, and perfect. I’ll be
reviewing a number of her pieces here because so many of them are in my
e-reader!
This one’s pure romance. It’s a post-series 3 fix-it fic
(which SA excels at); Mary is ditched quickly and without remorse by John early
on, and he returns to 221B Baker Street with relief, quickly followed by joy.
There’s some elegant tap dancing as he and Sherlock try to figure out what “I’m
here for good” really means, and some lovely Hindu spiritual symbolism. When
they do finally get together, it’s so natural and beautiful they (and we, the
readers) wonder what took them so long.
The words that took
my breath away:
His tongue reaches for John’s first this time and it’s so
slow and so intimate that John feels like he could accurately draw a map of
every taste bud on Sherlock’s tongue, recreated from every slide of them
against his own. It’s so good, that same bone-deep feeling of having a craving
sated, only to have it create ever deeper wells of craving, of sheer need.

Congratulations, I loved Sherlock’s POV in this fic as well as all the detail of exactly how he was on the run. Such a well imagined fic :)
