Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. I’m working on my laptop by the Christmas tree with a fire going. It’s peaceful and relaxing. I miss Julie, though. Usually she’d be here by my side. I treasure my memories. #Namaste

dystopian western cover

Do you prefer left or right? I’m considering a complete change in direction for my dystopian western cover. The 5-star reviews all praise its quiet Western feel – but my current cover (left) makes it look more like a zombie apocalypse :). So I think I might be driving away people who seek that gentle horseback in the plains storyline. Still, I think the left one is more eye-catching, so I’m torn. I do understand that drawing in the “wrong audience” doesn’t do me much good for all sorts of reasons.

Yoga and Chinese Astrology

I enjoyed a lovely yoga session in my dining area while the birds outside enjoyed their buffet. During the ending meditation I pondered this Chinese Astrology placemat I had on Monday. Usually they give each sign some friends and foes. But the poor dogs … they seem to have nobody … I’m there for you, dogs! #namaste
