Dreaming of Anything She Wants
This one’s for the writers among you. Just a gentle reminder of my open call for Anything She Wants. The call only closes on May 1, 2013, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to jog your memories. 
I’ve received a few quality submissions already, but I need more, more, more… I’m a very open-minded gal and I’m not picky about subject matter, as long as the writing is stellar (opening sentences are very important!)
I lie awake at night dreaming of how smoking hot Anything She Wants can be, boasting a wild variety of girls getting it on, written in the most tantalising prose. (All right, truth be told, as soon as I close my eyes I mainly dream of cougars and Kristin Lehman, but hey, we all have our thing.)
More than anything though, I hope to be able to put together such a good collection of short stories in order for Anything She Wants to become a series, putting out a sizzling new volume every year for Ladylit‘s birthday. Hey, I like to dream.

Hump Day Hook: Champagne
Here we go for another round of Hump Day Hook-ing. This one’s from my latest release, Champagne.
“Stop,” she said and held out her palm, fingers pointed upwards. “You might as well take it all off now that I can still have a good look at it.” The light falling through the window caught in her red curls and created a halo effect behind her head. New Release: Champagne
At last, I’ve finished Champagne! Champagne is a short story I started serialising for Six Sentence Sunday a few months ago, but the demise of SSS and me starting the High Rise Series put a stop to its progress.
I’m releasing it today as a $0.99 lesbian short.

When Amanda spots a woman sipping champagne by herself in a bar at the mall, she is inexplicably drawn to her. She gives in to her instincts and tries to seduce her.

Sneak Peek Sunday: Close Enough
Here’s yet another sneak peek from Close Enough (High Rise Novella Four). (It should be out in 2 weeks!)
“Come on.” Isabella tore her lips away from Nat’s and dragged her into the direction of the bedroom. They stood in front of the bed and Nat started to unbutton Isabella’s blouse. Nat was surely a very skilled lover, but she never showed much restraint. Hump Day Hook: No Ordinary Love
Here we go for another round of Hump Day Hook-ing. This one’s from No Ordinary Love, the third novella in my High Rise series. This excerpt continues where the one from this this Sneak Peek Sunday ended.
“That feels so good.” Alex’s voice was hoarse and muffled by the pillows, but still sent a pang of lust up Maddie’s core.
“And I’ve only just begun.” Maddie leaned her upper body over Alex, making sure her hard nipples brushed the skin of her back. She dug her fingers into Alex’s shoulders and rubbed them with gusto. She felt Alex relax under her hands. It wasn’t total submission yet, but that could wait until later.
With the side of her hands she rubbed along Alex’s spine, causing her to groan underneath her. Had she really expected to fall asleep with Maddie all over her? Sneak Peek Sunday: Close Enough
Here’s another sneak peek from Close Enough (High Rise Novella Four).
“Oh my god,” Isabella exclaimed. “I really thought I had seen it all.” Sweat dripped out of her hair and every muscle in her legs burned, but the view below her was staggering. Hong Kong stretched out panoramically in front of her. The tall buildings of the island to the left and the old airport to the right. In between a clear blue sky and green slopes tumbling down.
“See, now this is romantic,” Nat said. “You and me on top of this hill with this view. I’m fairly certain babies have been made here.”
Isabella giggled. A natural endorphin high pushed all negative feelings to the back of her brain. Alex and Maddie hadn’t reached the top yet and it was just the two of them. She inched closer to Nat, willing to forget and eager to touch.

- Revealed the cover of Close Enough
- Posted a sneak peek of Close Enough (I’ll be posting another one this Sunday)
- Realised this week was all about Close Enough (;-p)
- Lowered the price of Fool for Love (High Rise Novella One) to $0.99 forever
- Held a 50% sale on all my Smashwords titles for Read an E-book Week
- Missed Claudia Winkleman desperately (because the internet didn’t give me my weekly dose of Film 2013)
- Graduated to 7K on the treadmill
- Said goodbye to a very dear friend (a big disadvantage to living in a transient city like Hong Kong)
- Boarded a plane to the motherland (as we speak)
- Started reading Girls Who Score (a full review will follow, but my favourite story so far is the brilliant Cheyenne Blue‘s ‘Run, Jo, Run’)
- Finished Diary of a Provincial Lesbian by VG Lee (and was thoroughly amused and quite endeared by it)
- Drooled and drooled and drooled some more over Robin Wright in House Of Cards (and found this very true and amusing)

Cover for High Rise Novella Four
A few hours ago I finished the first draft of Close Enough (High Rise Novella Four). Just in time before I fly off to Europe to visit my family tomorrow. (Yes, I always like to cut it fine when deadlines are in play.)
Close Enough checks back in with Nat and Isabella. Their differences in age, lifestyle (and just about everything else) prove to be quite the challenge for their new relationship (but they make such a hot couple.)

Hump Day Hook: Fool for Love
Here we go for another round of Hump Day Hook-ing. This one’s from Fool for Love, the first novella in my High Rise series.
“Where does it hurt?”
“Around here.” Alex pointed at a spot above her right shoulder blade.
“At your service, madam.” Maddie scanned Alex’s tank top-clad back. “I wouldn’t want to stain your clothes though. Would you mind if I pulled your top up?”
