Flower of the Day – Red Star

I don’t know the name of flowers. But this one reminds me of a star.
This was inspired my Cee’s Flower of the Day Photo Challenge. Click on her name to see her beautiful photographs of flowers.

How to Sleep Better at Night?
This post was inspired by Gottfried and his lack of sleep. I mentioned magnesium and he wanted an explanation, which got a bit long for a regular comment, therefore, I’m posting it here for him and anyone else who might be interested.
Some think sleep is a waste of time, but a good amount of our medial problems can be solved with regular eight hours sleep.
Google definition: Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems that regulate diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation.
In simpler terms, magnesium relaxes the muscles in our body so we can sleep better at night. Magnesium relaxes the muscles in our heart so it doesn’t work so hard, which could help prevent heart attacks and stokes.
It helps produces serotonin, which produces melatonin, which puts us to sleep.
Magnesium can take up to eights weeks to take effect. I started with three capsules a day, but now I take one in the morning and one mid afternoon and am sleeping better.
Each person is different. I have a fiend who takes two before he goes to sleep and he sleeps great. Experiment to see what is best for you.
Sometimes, my sleep reverts back to the old ways, then back to good nights. I’m having more and more good nights of sleep and am feeling so much better.
Regular good nights of sleep can also help one lose weight. I lost seven pounds, so far, and I’m only in my third month.
I would also recommend plant based supplements. Synthetic supplements may have chemicals that can do strange things to your body.
Sleep well and fell better.
