And Now...A Morsel from the New Book!!!
Here it is...
A tiny excerpt from my upcoming book, Taking Chances. I debated back and forth on uploading the first chapter or a little something something from somewhere else in the book. I decided to give a little tease that will make you want to know, "How did they get to that point?"

Coming Soon!!!
I hope everyone is doing lovely today. I'm enjoying the result of the rain we got all night and morning. A little too much! Rain always makes me sleepy. Couple that with lunch time and the p90x I'm suppose (but didn't) to be doing and well, let's just say it was only nap/quiet time for the kids. LoL
Well a few updates....
The wheels in this ol' head of mine have begun turning for the next book. I will begin the prologue tonight or tomorrow. My oldest kid, who is in color guard, will be doing her first performance tonight! I'm a band mom!
I will be posting an excerpt from my second book, Taking Chances, very soon. I've been considering updating Dream Lover with the first chapter of Taking Chances at the back. Haven't totally decided yet.
I can't think of anything else so that's all for now.

New Additions!
So,
If you look up at the top of this page, you will see two new tabs! I'm so excited! I have a tab for my books, what's available now and what's coming soon! And then there's the excerpts tab, where I've posted excerpts from my books. Perhaps soon there will be an excerpt for my second book, Taking Chances.

Twitter is Awesome!
So I will be the first to admit, I hadn't really jumped on the twitter bandwagon. I have a regular twitter, and I have an author's one as well (see my tweets on the left).
I have my author's twitter connected to my facebook page, so that when I post on facebook it wil automatically post to twitter. No muss, no fuss.
So I'm scrolling through my favorite authors, to see who their following and I notice one of them is following a twitter page called Free Black Ebooks. I decide to follow them because, hey, who doesn't like free e-books?
Then I notice that they're mentioning all of these books, and I think to myself, "hmmm, my ebook was free last Thursday, I wonder if they mentioned my book..."
I scroll down to the day my book was free and lo and behold! This is what I see!
Well, that just made me smile from ear to ear! And of course, I mentioned them in a tweet as well!
I never would have imagined something like that happening! But that is the beauty of the social world we now live in!

Hello World! **Updates on next book!**
Well it has been a mighty long time since I blogged anything.
Today is my first blog as a published author and I welcome you all to my world.
A few quick things about me:
I am a stay at home mom of three kids and I have been married to my husband for nearly seven years. I've been writing since I was about 13 and I have a crazy obsession for romance novels. Reading and writing them :-)
I published my first novel, Dream Lover, about two months ago. A few days ago I had a free download day. It went exceptionally in my personal opinion. On reading a review that said a reader was looking forward to more of my books, I decided I needed to go ahead and get a blog, to keep people updated on what is going on. I do have both a twitter and facebook and keep fans updated on their, but I thought that this would be a good way to do so as well.
So here's what's going on:
So far I have five books written and will be starting on a sixth soon. I am in the final editing of my second book Taking Chances. I am also in the process of brainstorming for the cover with my cover artist/husband :-) With any luck, it will be released in the next month or so. Knowing that there are some out there who are looking forward to reading more of my work has but a fire under me to get this next one out sooner rather than later!
Well, that is all for now.
